No, no, that's just a misconception. ;]
But boy, wasn't that scene awesome? The scene which shows Fuhrer becoming a homunculus? The way he was screaming..I leiked it. xD; |
Quote:
I think you guys missed this ;_; |
Quote:
|
I did as well. xD;
But still, that part's known to me so doesn't matter anyways. And well, I hope the second 'But, a doctor' thing clarifies Charizard's doubts. :3 |
Quote:
Now to be patient and watch o.o |
Soooo.... I wonder when it'll appear on YouTube...
|
Yeah, I wonder that as well. I'd like to know how you feel about the propo...no, nothing. xD;
And well, which episode's going on for you, guys? Charizard, which ep? :o I wonder how may-chan grew up so much... |
Philosopher's stone
magic It's not her they transmuted her Photoshop Time and genes...? ´:D |
But in just two effing years? So much of a change? xD;
|
Two years?
You're saying Ed and Winry got their kids first thing after the proposal? I find that hard to believe. They actually say it's to years afterwards? ;_; |
No wait, I think I've messed up. xD;
Right, so it's not two years. Even so, it's kind of hard to believe that may grew up so much. Especially her height. She's looks nearly as tall as Al now! D: |
Maybe just everyone else shrunk? :|
|
Do you think there will be another season? Or is it all over? D:
Hopefully Ed will still grow though xD |
I have heard rumours about a movie..
|
Rumors? WHAT WHERE WHEN??? I'm dying to know, Phillip! D:
|
Quote:
|
That's the old one, with the weird ending.
They say stuff on YouTube. Nothing official so far tho. |
Quote:
|
You know, there was just some rumours on YouTube, I honestly don't think there will be a movie.
But if there is, then yes, there would be two. |
Quote:
|
It was great really, even though the storyline was odd.
But it's nothing in comparison to FMA:B. |
Quote:
Did it have anything to do with the Homunculi? |
Yeah, it was basicly the ending of the 2003 series, and there was still some Homunculi left.. but they all died in the movie.
Envy was last :P |
Quote:
I might go watch it later :3 |
I think it's better to watch the original anime first if you haven't.
Otherwise it's gonna be REALLY confusing. For instance, there are three homonculi that aren't in the real story, and other things. |
Quote:
|
But if you have, you should've known about Pride, Sloth and Wrath. You should've heard their name at least. But you know, you said that you haven't heard even their name. xD;
|
Quote:
|
Seeing "most of the original anime" won't be enough, I'm afraid.
It's in the last ten episodes or so actual progress is made. (Wrath in FMAB is Pride in FMA, Sloth is different and Wrath is different.) |
Oh-kay, I understand. And well, I kind of agree with Phillip. You should watch it. [/haven't watched it himself, tho]
|
Quote:
|
(Wrath in FMAB is Pride in FMA, Sloth is different and Wrath is different.)
And that's just the homonculi changes. In the 2003 anime, there isn't a Father. there's a different enemy xD; |
I dunno. It might be a little hard to re-watch it after getting the brotherhood experience.
|
Quote:
But, I'll find a way :D lol Can't wait to watch the new episode on Saturday :3 |
I might try it out as well. But with great difficulty. I've got 'used to' brotherhood's better visuals and stuff. It came later, after all.
Which ep, Charizard? |
Quote:
And I think episode 24. |
I've read all the stuff. Not actually seen the anime. You know, I know like 97% of the stuff the original one had. So, yeah. It wasn't a problem for me to understand Shamballa.
|
Yeah, FMAB is WAY better when it comes to graphics too.
It's hard finding the FMA episode online, too. I do think they should be available in stores, however. |
Quote:
|
I'm pretty sure you can find it online. It WAS one of the most famous anime back then, wasn't it? It HAS to be there somewhere.
|
Quote:
|
We'll we've got a store here that sells both the manga and anime :3
But I guess it's because manga is so utterly popular here in Sweden :D |
Quote:
|
I'll try and find a link to a site, I guess.
And well, did you watch the last episode yet, Phillip? |
Quote:
When school starts I'm hardly going to be watching anime D: |
Nope, I'm still waiting.
I wouldn't be able to see it, with my Internet in this state, anyway... |
Yeah, I know. Btw, just started watching the first ep of the original series. The starting's pretty good, gotta say. (b")b
|
Good, isn't it? :3
It was such a different feeling to the show back then.. |
Quote:
|
*shoots you*
See the first episode, no actually, see the whole series! It won't disappoint you, I pinky-swear ;_; |
Quote:
|
Not first season, first version >:O
It's just forty-ish episodes. It's really short. And the storyline is very shortened, but there are alot of fillers that drag the story out. Like, they meet Greed at episode 30 or something xD |
Quote:
|
No, it isn't forty episodes actually. It's 51 episodes, to be precise.
|
Oh, right.
But at least it's shorter than FMA:B's 64 episode :o |
At least its not bad as Bleach or Naruto. o.o
I might get to it next summer though xD |
Naruto I don't know, but it's not that much better than Bleach. Bleach is OK :3
|
Quote:
Naruto is like 300 or 400+ xD Bleach is 200+ They both are awesome. ---------- On another note, I want to see Gluttony eat someone :3 |
They must've shown it somewhere :|
I believe you see when he chews Pride to death in the Movie :3 But he doesn't actually swallow xD; |
Quote:
|
Wait, no, that's Wrath he chews on.
And things are different in the old anime xD; |
Quote:
|
Yup.
But things are weird in the 2003 anime. Like, Spoiler:
|
Quote:
|
Yeah, that's when they try to resurrect her back with a philosopher's stone, right? And I think they were forced to do it or something back then, yes?
|
Quote:
|
The homunculi forced then, didn't they? I wonder why, though...
..it's just that I've played the game 'Dual Sympathy' which follows the story of the 2003 anime. So, yeah, that's how I know about it. But I still don't know the reason behind it. Why would they force him to make a homunculus? :o |
Is there an FMA game for the Wii? :3
|
I'm pretty sure there isn't. There are some for DS and for GC, tho.
|
Quote:
I'll just wait until it comes out then, on another note I might buy some FMA volumes xD |
Just download the roms, if that's the case. The games aren't really that great. The DS games, I mean.
|
Quote:
|
You haven't? Srsly, Charizard. :/
I'll tell you how to do it. Not on PC, tho. Anyways, wanna know what was wrong with Dual Sympathy? It wasn't really a good 'beat-em-up' game. It grew boring as it progressed. |
Quote:
I see, hey may I ask what part of India you live in? :O |
I never played any of the FMA games either. :<
I'd love to try them out, though. ^^ |
Quote:
I only have Pokemon games ;; |
V Homunculi in the 2003 series V
Spoiler:
|
But the 'getting weak when in the vicinity of their body' thing applies to every homunculus and not just Lust, Sloth and Wrath, yes?
|
Well yeah, for instance Greed died that way in the old show.
But as you don't learn their past in the 2003 anime, I didn't bring those up. |
Yeah, I guess you were just trying to be precise. :3
I just saw the sixth episode today. Brotherhood tends to rush a little when compared to the original one. For example, Ed and Al spent a lot of time with Nina and were even present at the time of Hughes's daughter but nothing like that happened in Brotherhood. Sorry if that didn't make much sense. I'm sleepy and drowsy. ;; |
Yeah, they sure were.
They showed months of their training over several episode where the original story only covered it in a couple of minutes xD I mean, Hughes dies at episode 24 I think :P Also, the Nina story is bigger in the 2003 series, and Tucker survives through the whole story as a Chimera expert for the Homunculi. (he's turned into a chimera himself :|.. And he wants the Philo-stone to create a duplicate of his late daughter. He's really freaky in the old show :<) |
It brings back memories about Hughes death *goes into sad corner* ;;
|
Quote:
|
Hughes death is cooler in the 2003 series :3
he actually manages to cut off Envy's throat.. but well, he regenerates :| Also, I like the fillers they had in the beginning of 2003, like the train incident, and that they showed when Ed saved the mining village :P |
Quote:
Poor Hughes :/ |
I miss Hughes. A lot.
He's still not dead to me. |
Quote:
He was one of my fav characters :x |
In my head, I'm waiting for him to come and talk about Alicia till my ears bleed ;_;
|
I loved Hughes, I cried for a long time when Envy shot him.
And just when I thought I had gotten over it, his daughter breaks my heart again. ;-; |
When his daughter cried I almost did D:
|
They did a great job on his character, and killing him off was the last finishing part that made it perfect.. but sad.

I didn't really cry, actually. I don't think I will while watching the 2003 anime either. But you know, I'd feel really bad once I watch Nina die. She has such an 'innocent' voice. In the jap dubs, I mean. Her voice..it makes me feel really sad that she dies. ;;
Hughes' death will be sad. Nina's death wouldn't be any less sad, though. At least for me. |
Both deaths are sad.
I didn't cry thou, I mean, I'm the kinda guy who cries when I've finished reading Love Hina in a couple of days (I think I died that day), and when Yui in AB" dies.. but Hughes and Nina was just sad :| |
Edward cries bitterly on her death. It was sad, really.
|
Yeah. That totally crushed him :|
It was needed for the character development, tho :D |
Yeah, I guess. And omg, barry the chopper's in there too. In his real body. :O
Aaand, Ed cried again. ;A; |
