Quiet nature may work better. Swampert doesn't have grear speed anyway. Attacks look good. Maybe more ev's into hp than special defense though.

Ludicolo - Lax/Neutral
EV in Speed and Defense
Leech Seed
Hydro Pump
Toxic
Giga Drain

Every Ludicolo should have Rain Dance, just to take advantage of its abilities. To me, Ludicolo is tough to make a moveset for because it can be both an annoyer and a special sweeper. Maybe replace giga drain and hydro pump with rain dance and dive, to heal and stall. Instead of speed ev's, put them into hp and defenses. Bold or calm natures are prefered.

Camerupt - Bold/Neutral
EV in Special Defense and Defense
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Flamethrower
Amnesia

Adamant or Brave nature is prefered, since Camerupt has low speed anyway and its only special attack is a fire one. Attacks look good, Camerupt is just tough to use due to low speed and weakness to water and ground.

Crobat - ???
EV in ???
Fly
Sludge Bomb
Confuse Ray
Mean Look

nature: adamant or jolly. I like adamant for ingame. Shadowball instead of mean look, Crobat is too light and delicate to be an effective annoyer. EV's in attack and speed only.

Manectric - ????
EV in ????
Rain Dance
Thunder
HP Water
Thunderwave/Crunch

Modest or timid natures, ev in special attack and speed only. It is very fragile

Alakazam - Sassy
EV in Defense and Special Defense
Ice Punch/Calm Mind
Psychic
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch

No matter how hard you try, Alakazam will almost never survive a physical attack. It's best to take advantage of its high speed and special attack and put ev's into those and give it a Modest or Timid nature. If you really want to improve its special defense though, then calm nature is best.

or

Gardevoir - ???
EV in ????
WoW
Psychic
Calm Mind
Thunderbolt

Personally, I like Gardevoir better just because I have a thing against Alakazam, heh. And Gardevoir is cute. Its attacks are good and standard. Some people like Modest nature, but I like timid, since calm mind will boost special attack and defense anyway. Max out speed and pour remaining evs into special stats.

I'll let someone else do the fire red team...

Kool! Thanx a lot Iveechan! Shall follow your advice! I'm using a Kadabra on Fire Red and I loves Gardevoir so I'll use her instead. BTW, I've always been a fan of your great art! Oh God no! I just rememberd I have Ruby....not Sapphire! Must get it! :( Can you please suggest me a substitute for Ludicolo?

Mullet November 11th, 2004 3:52 PM

Well for Venusaur use this.

[email protected]ftovers
Nature:Jolly
EVs in: Attack, HP, and Speed
Leech Seed
Sludge Bomb
Earthquake
Sleep Powder/ Swords Dance

This should work. I may do more later.

I'm back.

[email protected] really sure, I guess Leftovers/if Rest is used Chesto Berry
Nature:+ Sp. attk./-Attk
EVs in:Sp. attk, and HP
Ice Beam
T-bolt
Surf
Confuse Ray/Rest

I love Boltbeamers, their awesome! :D

Toothache November 11th, 2004 7:24 PM

Swampert: Always a difficult one to balance the EV with:

[email protected]
EV: 170 Att, 170 Sp Def, 170 Sp Att
Nature: + Att/Sp Att, - Speed
Curse/Ice Beam/Toxic
Brick Break/Ice Beam/Surf
Earthquake
Rest

[email protected] *Note: Swift Swim
EV: Speed up to 198, rest in HP, Sp Att, Sp Def
Nature: + Sp Att, - Att
Rain Dance
Surf/Hydro Pump
Leech Seed
Ice Beam/Giga Drain/Toxic/Dive

[email protected] Claw
EV: 252 Att, 252 Def, 6 Sp Def
Nature: + Att, - Sp Def
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Overheat
Explosion

[email protected] Berry
EV: 252 Speed, 252 Att, 6 Def
Nature: + Speed, - Sp Att
Aerial Ace
Sludge Bomb
HP Fighting
Shadow Ball

[email protected] Berry/Quick Claw
EV: 252 Speed, 252 Sp Att, 6 Sp Def
Nature: + Sp Att, - Att
Thunderwave
Thunderbolt/Thunder
HP Ice/Grass
Bite/Quick Attack/Rain Dance

Let Ludicolo set up the Rain, or do it yourself. Either way, Manectric doesn't have much lastability, so you really need to avoid damage. You can use Bite for the flinch hax (but don't rely on that), Quick Attack for Reversal/Flail users, and HP Ice/Grass for all slower Ground types (anything except Dugtrio). I'd prefer HP Ice for taking on Flygon and other Dragons, just in case you need to.

[email protected]/Petaya/Salac Berry
EV: 252 Sp Att, 252 Speed, 6 Sp Def
Nature: + Sp Att/Sp Def, - Att
Calm Mind
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Destiny Bond

This team is missing a few crucial roles, such as a hazer/pseudohazer. I'd personally give Manectric QA as well.

Hibiki-san November 12th, 2004 8:50 AM

Didn't anyone see my post edit? I'm playing Ruby therefore I cannot get Ludicolo so I need a suggestion for a different water type.

Iveechan November 12th, 2004 9:39 AM

I don't really notice anything... ever... just wondering, can you trade with yourself? if so, then Kingdra is an all around average guy who's a good rain dancer and only has one weakness. Are you looking for a water type, a grass type, or just a replacement?

Hibiki-san November 12th, 2004 9:51 AM

Basically just a replacement. I already have a Water type. Might use a Breloom.

Breloom
Spore
Leech Seed
Sludge Bomb
Mach Punch/Focus Punch

The all around average stat is the problem... with the EV system around, Kingdra's stats are seriously affected and is now in deep trouble. Anyone with all around average stats also got into a lot of trouble due to the EV system, as it pretty much forces you to be either defensive or offensive, not both at once like Kingdra is used to be on GSC.

Iveechan November 12th, 2004 5:59 PM

I know that >_>. And I didn't have defensive in mind since everything in RS relies on being offensive.

Toothache November 12th, 2004 8:48 PM

My most successful team happens to consist of four tanks, but then I always like to be different.

Hibiki-san November 16th, 2004 4:47 AM

Ya know, my best successful team didn't rely on EVs or Natures. I had full offensive attacks and power up attacks eg, Bulk Up.

Frostweaver November 16th, 2004 4:25 PM

Most likely, an obvious indication that your opponent didn't EV train either, or is even, some random kiddo on the street... it's impossible for a well EV trained team to lose to one without nature or EV, unless it's NU vs mass legends, then the legends can just overwhelm aimlessly without EVs at all.

Hibiki-san November 17th, 2004 4:28 AM

Eh? Oh wait a minute! D'oh! I forgot to say that this is an in-game team! No Pokemon fans round my area to battle! Just my sis really and we can't link my Fire Red to my Ruby yet cos I haven't got the Ruby and Sapphire plates. Heck I don't even have 4 badges yet! But I have just arrived in Celadon City. :D
