Reserving Black/White?

Im going to gamestop today to reserve both black and white. Is anyone else preordering this early? How much are you putting down?

I am putting the minimum requirement down and paying them off each week or so. I am also going to buy the guide WITH the game. When that is paid off I am putting down for a third one, either white or black for my friends 21st birthday. I didnt buy three for heart gold and soul silver and it made me very sad to know I dont own heart gold.

As i am paying off the games $10 a week, i am saving to buy gold, crystal, heartgold, fire red, leaf green, ruby and emerald. I guess after that i should look for japanese red and blue My pokemon collection must be complete no?

anyways im out to go preorder

PiPVoda June 18th, 2010 8:59 AM

You can already pre-order? I usually wait, pre-ordering too early to me just makes me want the game even more. I probably won't pre-order mine until January.

Digital Wings June 18th, 2010 9:13 AM

Wow, you can already pre-order? Looks like that's what I'm doing right now! Do we get anything for pre-ordering in advance!

Tanaki June 18th, 2010 9:22 AM

I'll consider it if it's really worth it. I got so mad when I realized wal-mart had a hg/ss bundle that came with the figurine and even a pokewalker skin and I got up at the crack of dawn to go get my copy of ss from gamestop, and just a few days before I heard about the bundle I bought a copy of hg. After that I'm going to be more cautious about how I approach buying the games.

rocky505 June 18th, 2010 9:44 AM

I will wait until they are available on Play Asia and pre order there. I agree Tanaki I may reserve my english one at Wal Mart this time.

SargeantMajorKururu June 18th, 2010 9:45 AM

I'm going to try to reserve mine soon. How much does it cost to reserve?

About 5 dollars. It takes 5 dollars off the price of the game.

We don't know yet but we got Stylus for DP, A Giratina figure for Platinum, A Ho-Oh or Lugia figure for HGSS and a Arceus figure came with some TCG stuff and was given out at Gstop for free.

Maybe we'll get Reshiram or Zekrom figurines. Or maybe special styluses.

rocky505 June 18th, 2010 10:02 AM

I didn't like the Stylus as the tip and the small figure on top broke very easily.

I'd rather get figurines.

rockman0 June 18th, 2010 10:41 AM

I'm not reserving Black/White yet. Reserving a game tends to make me even more excited about a game than I want to be.

Then again, I may not even buy Black/White. I think I might wait for Gray, or Clear or whatever to come out and buy that.

Tree_x June 18th, 2010 12:08 PM

Hmm i Pre Ordered Pearl for about 5 Bucks and that worked out nice got that nifty stylus
:D i will probably per order this to plus waiting in line is fun :D everyone brings there Ds :D!

Goo June 18th, 2010 12:29 PM

Where I live there arnt really anyone waiting in line. So im like the ONLY one there when it opens and everyone looks at me weird.

0.0 I think i was the first in my area to preorder.

Either way i preordered the pokedex 3, both games and eventually i will preorder one or two more of the games and the guide

I have months so i pay off as i go, ya know $5 a game a week. It pays off slowly but i still get it all paid off by the time i am done.

I just need to decide who gets my extras....

I just bought SS then the HG Bundle...

I don't think I can preorder this early... Plus I live in NC no one else around will really get it I don't have to worry about them running out... I'll preorder if it comes with an event I guess haha or something cool like a discount on the guide (never got the guide for HGSS xD)

Eurydice June 18th, 2010 1:12 PM

i have already preordered them both of the games. i plan on buying the guide with them when i pick them up. i cant wait until they are released

JP June 18th, 2010 6:26 PM

Pre-ordered mine the other day. The guy that works there knows I love Pokemon and made sure to tell me they could be pre-ordered. :P

I just put down the minimum $5. I'm sure we'll be seeing figurines with pre-orders, or something else at least.

Guy June 18th, 2010 8:01 PM

Like I did with HeartGold and SoulSilver altogether, I'll pre-order both Black and White a month prior to its release date. I don't see the need to rush and pre-order this early when it's anticipated for a Spring 2011 release here in the US.

[email protected]! June 18th, 2010 8:29 PM

honestly i'm not worried about preordering. The stuff you get with it is cheapy crap anyway. What I care about are the events that happen on a release day. I know there'll be an event pokemon or item given away on the release, so thats why I really want to get it the day of.

Katie_Q June 18th, 2010 11:45 PM

I can't pre order yet. So instead I'm going to save and buy soul silver and Platinum. But once I can pre order, I will be, for both of them.... or maybe just one and then buy the other one another time. But yes, I will reserve. I'm hoping I might also get a cool freebie too, like how HG/SS had the figurines

JAK3 June 19th, 2010 3:34 AM

I don't think I need to, Pokemon isn't exactly.. Popular where I live. Then again, D/P were good sellers... :)

MistahDude June 20th, 2010 8:00 PM

I am just going to wait until the day of release.

That way I can go and buy both games, the guide, and the new pokedex book all at once.

AeonWolf June 20th, 2010 8:08 PM

I will only pre-order if I get something special on the game if I do.
