Depends on the bug, really. I kind of just ignore moths and flies and anything really tiny. If it were anything bigger, I'd scream like a little girl and run away. And then probably try to kill it. Especially if it were a bee or wasp, those things frighten me like no other. :(
I try not to kills bugs when I can. I think it's kind of mean, tbh, so unless it really annoyed me I feel bad when I kill them. And I'm honestly no good at capturing them and letting them go. I'm too soft, I guess. |
It depends on what kind of bug. If it was something gross then I'd just kill it. I only ever encounter flies (get killed on sight), spiders (I just ignore them unless they're huge then I put them outside) and moths (ignore them).
Moths are ignored, unless they're stupid enough to fly into my face (which causes the natural reaction of me swatting it away). I don't really get flies in my room, and spiders... Spiders either live or die depending on their size. xD;
I usually let them go unless its a spider, if it is I either leave the room or kill it (If its in my room).
Spiders I leave alone 'cause they might kill more bothersome bugs that come in, but my cats sometimes kill the spiders anyway. Silverfish and benign little beetles I leave be, too. Anything crawling around near my bed when I'm about to go to sleep has to die though, 'cause I can't sleep thinking it might get in my bed or the cat could kill it and and spread bits of it on my sleeping spot like she did once. It was a house centipede, and those are the nastiest looking things so I kill them anyway if I see them.
I kill the flying insects (only flies and these small mosquito-looking things ever get in). I don't like stuff flitting around me and taunting me while I'm trying to do stuff. Ants and I are mortal enemies. If I see a single ant in my house I kill it and do a full-scale search for any others. Ants have committed too many crimes against me for me to have any reason to show mercy. |
I don't have a problem with bugs but if its a spider and its in my room I'll kill it.
I kill them with knives. No bug may enter my room. -_-
I play a fun little game called "Guantanamo Bay" with any insects I find...
I'd kill it immediately. Bugs are a bother to me, so yeah.
If I find a spider or a wasp/bee, I'll usually catch it in a cup and put it outside if it's annoying me. Other bugs like flies and moths I'll usually leave alone, or possibly lead them towards an open window. My sister on the other hand screams at me to kill them when a bug of any kind enters my house. Worst case scenario for a spider is that I'll have to flush it down the toilet, but I don't want to squish any bugs and leave a mess to clean up later.
Um, I kill them. They don't really matter to me and I hate bugs. But when I see a bug being retarded and flying into the window over and over again, I let it out.
who you calling small. !!!!!!!!
If it's a fly, I'll leave them be, that counts for moths as well.
If a spider comes, I'll tell my dad to put it outside on the nature strip. Ants and roaches me and family ALWAYS kill. They're annoying. Bees and wasps? Dunno. Never had a problem with them (Apart from ones outside on our porch. We kill.) Overall, our family lets most bugs live. |
Depends on what kind of bug it is. If it's a spider, I will run away, and tell my Mom to squish it till it dies. xDD If it's a red bug or a mosquito, I catch it with a tissue and release it outside :3
Flying things, I generally leave them. If they're smart enough to find a way in they ought to be smart enough to get out. If they can't get out, that's their fault, but they always do eventually, they seem just to enjoy acting stupid for a while then buzz straight out the window gayly like they knew where it was the whole time. Wasps I'm prone to killing, their buzzing is absurdly loud and they're quite damaging to other wildlife, they apparently even kill bees. Small moths tend to fly onto my computer screen at night since I never turn the main room light on, and since I'm nocturnal this is bothersome; I'll swat them away, some get the hint eventually, but I hit harder each time...
The only crawlies that venture into my room are spiders, which are nice to have around, they keep the hematophagic creatures at bay. |
I usually grab the nearest object, whatever the object is and squash it. I am paranoid about bugs laying eggs in my room which would them lead to loads of them in my room. *shudders*
Unless they really bother me (I can't think of a situation like this off the top of my head), I don't kill them. I usually catch them and set them free outdoors but with spiders, I usually just let them stay in my room, haha.
In winter, I might kill them so that they aren't left to freeze outside. D: |
If they're little guys who won't do any harm, I leave them alone. If it's something irritating that could cause me pain (like a wasp or a bee), I'll either walk out of the room or attempt to kill it, depending on what mood I'm in.

Depends on the bug. A fly, eh, I'll leave it, as long as it doesn't bother me much. If it's a mosquito, I'll go kill it. If it's my sisters (XD), I'll kick them out. ^^ |
If it's in my room, it has to be captured and released outside. If it's not in my room, then it depends. Almost all flying arthropods have to be caught and let go outside. Centipedes, spiders, and other useful predatory arthropods I generally leave alone, unless they are in an inconvenient spot or are otherwise making a nuisance of themselves, in which case I catch them and let them go outside. I have a slightly different catching procedure depending on whether or not the arthropod in question is wingéd or not. Arthropods prone to flying are captured using my designated bug-catching jar. I wait until they're on a wall, floor, table, or similar surface, then either slam or gently place the jar over them. The jar is clear so that once the jar is over them, I can see where they are inside and wait for an opportune moment to pull the jar away a little and put on the lid without them escaping. If it's a non-flying arthropod, or one that is reluctant to fly, I coax them into my designated bug-catching box. Either way, they are then released outside.
It depends. If it climbs onto me it has to go. If it's in the corner I don't care.
Only things that annoy me are things that make sounds. Such as large flies and wasps. I would say bees but I like bees, so I - as carefully as I can - guide them out the window. |
