Gardevoir, no questions :D
|
my signature would have to be my feraligatr just because it is the most awesome starter ever out of any generation, and my second would be staraptor, the best bird pokemon in all the games.
|
Probably Jolteon, since he's my bro. Torterra and Arcanine are more or less on the same level.
|
Heracross (Bugsy) i always use him in Johto. Bugsy is the name of my SS one.
Politoed is one too. But until 4th gen I had a hard time getting the kings rocks. |
So far it has been Luxray. I first met it when I left the first town in Pearl. It had become a part of my party ever since. It's Lvl. 80 now, and it's saved me a good couple of times.
As for Soul Silver, it'll be Electrive. I'm training up an Elekid which I'll turn into an Electrive. |
pichu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Dragonite in Kanto, Johto and Sinnoh
Blastoise in Kanto Heracross in Johto and Sinnoh Salamence in Hoenn |
My Starmie, Aviona. Bred for Timid nature. EV trained. Swept the Hoenn elite four... and then, when my Diamond team was having trouble, swept the Sinnoh elite four... and then transferred it to SS, where it swept all the gym leaders and the elite four. Not to mention it has lotsa ribbons. <3
|
A signature Pokemon of mine? Probably Gengar, since I have one on my team in every playthrough of my games (Excluding R/S/E because Hoen's too good to have Gengar...) Actually now that I think about it, EVERY playthrough on my HG and SS has had a Gengar on my team...On my original run I ran into a Gastly in the Sprout tower and I chucked a Pokeball at it, On my "Ninja" run through SS I used Gengar, On my Ghost type mono challenge of SS I used one, on my Solo run I choose Gengar, AND on my Poison type mono type challenge I choose Gengar on my team
I try to get an Arcanine on my teams though, but I just seem to run into Gastly more often. As for Nicknames I have been naming my Gengars Thresh ^_^ Hehe The Hunger Games is amazing so I choose Thresh as a NN :P |
My Kadabra soon to be Alakazam. When I get the chance, it will be hopefully my Mewtwo.
|
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/9/90/257Blaziken.png
Blaziken; it's always remained as a powerhouse in my eyes. Ever since I received it as a Torchic in my first true Pokemon gaming experience, Pokemon Sapphire, I've always had a certain fondness for it :D (to the point where I hate KO-ing Torchic, Combusken and Blaziken in Emerald's Battle Frontier... :() :t257: (originally nicknamed Blazer, will be renamed TrailBlazr as I start my permanent Pokemon file in Emerald to signify a "rebirth"...I really want it in shiny form, though...) |
Minun. I have used him in Pokemon Contests since Generation III. I know he sucks but I still use him. He was the first of my Pokemon to be brought from Sapphire to Diamond. He has 14 ribbons so far from Contests and other stuff. Since I am playing HeartGold, I have made him stronger so I can use him for any purpose.
|
Mine? I've always preferred Rayquaza. Once I catch him, I own all with him.
Don't judge me. :P I don't play competitively anyways. |
i dont have one :(
but i would probably have a psychic and normal in my team :D |
I don't have a specific "signature" Pokemon, since it varies every game, but it's usually my starter.
|
Every single eevee evolution i addore and are freaking awesome :)
|
Hm, that's a hard one... I guess right now I'd have to say Dragonite; I have one in Pearl and one in SoulSilver (I dunno if I'd count the lack of one in Platinum since on the first time around I got bored of it and never beat it). I also for a while had a tradition of always picking the Grass-type starter.
|
poliwhril, im training two, one to become politoad and one to become poliwrath. :)
|
http://i34.*.com/kc02n4.jpg
Mine used to be Infernape but i don't know i grew to hate it now and seems like torterra is my favorite and always will be now. |
Ninetales will always be my favorite pokemon of all time. It's flame is graceful and beautifu and it's tail too!l~ <3;
|
My signature pokemon would probably be Pidgeot since I'm always using him in Kanto and Johto. And it's my favorite pokemon too :D
|
probably my Metagross or Salamence always on my team.
|
Heatran, most definently. I always clone my Heatran in Pearl so I can use it in all my other files. It's probably my favorite Pokemon, and I've found that he's on many of my competitive teams, too.
|
Even though I don't train Gallade often, I'd say that it's my signature Pokemon because of its cool design.
|
Electivire, Roserade and Water-type Pokemon are my signature Pokemon,
not only because they are always in my party... But I also love them! |
Electivire is currently my signature pokemon, but when Black and White arrives it'll probably be Shimama (or its evolution) or one of the other new 5th gen pokemon.
|
Wow, I've been playing for 10 years and I don't really have a "signature pokemon." In each version I have an individual favorite... I'll work on getting me a signature pokemon :D
|
I have one for each game. Usually it ends up being my starter, because of the fact I had it forever, and trained it hard at the beginning, xD But maybe a signature Pokemon for all the games isn't that bad... Hm...
|
Since Gold, my Houndoom was with me. In Diamond I also added a Empoleon to my favorites.
I once had a Shiny Rapidash that was awesome, really. If you haven't seen rapidash in shiny form, I invite you to do so. It was my signature for one week, before some stupid cousin deleted my game thinking Pokemon could save more than one game. |
dont really keep a signature pokemon across generations.
Red: Dewgong Yellow: Nidoking Silver: Gyarados Sapphire: Absol Platinum: Electivire Soul Silver: Ampharos Heh, just realised what a badass team that would be :D |
In the Kanto region, Pidgeot was always with me, and it was the only flying type I liked in that region.
In the Johto region, Houndoom was my signature Pokémon and I can't continue playing the game unless I have one with me. In Hoenn, Mightyena; I really do not know why, but it's probably because it's my favorite Dark type Pokémon. In Sinnoh, I do not have one actually. I like to catch different Pokémon everytime I restart it. Now, we'll see what happens in B&W. |
Currently it's Pidgeot. |
Crystal: My lvl 100 Kabutops, I always used him since he was epic.
Sapphire: Probably my Crobat Bloodfang, also lvl 100. Emerald: Surely that must be my Blaziken! I got him to level 72 and I always use him for battles. Pearl: Hmm...I traded most from Pearl and Platinum to SoulSilver, so I'm not too sure...I'd say Zappy, my Zapdos. Platinum: ^ But I suppose Lucario level 50 named Luke wins the prize here. SoulSilver: Infernape (Inferny) level 100! He's so awesome! Cool stats, not EVed but I can manage, and a ****** moveset, but still awesomely strong. I have yet to lose with this one. |
Definatly my Gallade. His psychic/fighting type moves help me out just about everywhere. Combined with swords dance, I feel sorry for anyone against him.
Still training one, about lvl 61 or so after a week or two :( |
In the days of Red and Blue, it was either a Marowak or Sandslash (I was too young to care about types, I just used pokemon that looked cool)
I didn't play the second gen 'cos my stupid gold cartridge wouldn't save. 3rd gen was my awesome Sceptile. He was lvl 80 and could completely destroy the Elite 4. My best pokemon in Fire Red was probably my Blastoise, but my favourite was my Arcanine. In Diamond, I can't actually remember what my original Elite 4 team was, but after I started trying to fill my pokedex which led me to training pseudo legendaries a lot. Overall, I actually try to use different pokemon in every game, but would say that my most used pokemon might be a Crobat, I used it in Ruby and i'm currently using it in my Flying monotype challenge, or maybe Scyther, because I always use it in a game whenever I catch it. Yeah, i'm going with Scyther. |
Gyarados. All my friend's know I pack Gyarados on almost every team I make, in-game or not.
Plus he's my favorite Pokemon, so yeah. |
I, too, always have a Gyarados.
In addition, I usually have a Crobat, a Flareon, Azumarill, or Sandslash in my party. |
wel since the old school days its been a tie between gengar and scissor, Raichu and Pidgoet if were goin way bak in the day
|
I tend to end up consistantly breeding Eevee no matter which game I play in order to get an Espeon.
|
Isn't it obvious...?
It's totally Gengar. Every game that has him, he's on my team. It's not like he's my favorite, but I always get one. Also, I've used Swampert a lot, but mostly in the third generation games. |
my fav...
Sneazel. All the way.
on emarald i have a shiny sneazel lvl 100 got it to lvl 50 thin cheated. i found it shiny lvl 30 or so got it to lvl 50 then cheated. mostly dark type though. |
My signature pokemon is probably Jirachi or one of the Eevee evolutions =)
I have always used one of Eevee evolutions and now I have started to use both the Eevee evolution and Jirachi. :D Suugoi :D |
Those six pokemon in my signature and my shining ho-oh, Crowne.
Metooth - with me from the very beginning. Generally awesome as well. Parappa - hatched from an egg Mr. Pokemon gave me. Almost always in the air. Sykle - caught in the bug-catching contest. He didn't win but he should've <3 Mello - caught before the E4. Helped out there due to his cunning plans. Chono - starter on a Crystal emulator. Plan to somehow get him in SoulSilver. Greyash - first shiny caught by myself, over a year ago. The pyro of the team. Crowne - t'was a cool evening on Tin Tower... and I held up the wing. It sparkled and then... he came. He sparkled in the cool breeze of the moon. They've always been with me... and I love them. They and all the other 30something of my pokemon are being transferred to White asap. |
Well, at the moment, I have it like this:
LeafGreen: Aerodactyl | Bulbasaur - I always end up getting Aerodactyl, because it can wup Lance's ass, and is generally awesome. Emerald: Mightyena - Underrated, if you ask me. A huge help against Tate and Liza. It also generally kicks ass, with it's Intimidate, Swagger, Sand Attack and Shadow Ball (swap with Crunch before migration, obviously). Diamond: Staraptor - Come on...it's just...brilliant. Brave Bird is my favourite Gen IV move... Platinum: Absol - I've always loved it, but I slightly prefer Mightyena. Therefore, grabbing one on my way up Mount Coronet to prevent a disaster seems not only appropriate, but generally cool. It can also then hit Giratina with super-effective moves.. HeartGold: Politoed - I've loved it ever since I saw it's picture in the "pokemon annual 2003", despite never being able to obtain it until I got HeartGold, due to lack of trading pre-Platinum, as I only had one DS. |
My signature pokemon...probably Metagross; not because of his* moves/stats. I usually use him because of how...cool it seems to be to command a giant, metal thing on four legs to fight other trainers' pokemon. Of course, his moves/stats are a plus too.
*I'm aware Metagross has no gender; I just prefer to think of him as a he. |
I know when I was younger, I thought the Houndoom on my Crystal was the most awesome thing ever. She was my pride & joy.
On LG, I never went anywhere without my Jolteon. He was definitely my favorite on that file. Hmm...Now my must haves are definitely Arcanine, Espeon, Togekiss, & Scizor. I always have to have those 4. I have a Togekiss on Pearl, Platinum, and SoulSilver, and the Espeon I have on SS is at level 94 and has been traded across all 3. I trade a Growlithe egg over at the beginning of each game to have one early on. I love them all to bits. <3 |
I always have Fiero, my Quilava with me, as well as Sandie. I have my Togetic and my Sentret in DC.
|

Starmie. Magnificence incarnate.
|
I always catch a Clefairy in my games and tend to evolve into Clefable, just because I find them so adorable!
My platinum game I am going through now is the first time I have never raised a Clefairy. |
An Arcanine. I always catch a Growlithe before I enter Saffron City and level it to 40 and evolve it then. And all the common bird Pokémon; Pidgey in FR, Starly in DPP, and so on.
|
Lunatone, Zangoose, Clefable, Kecleon, Cradily.
|
pikachu!!
i always have it in my team!! |
jynx or medicham. if i don't have them in my team, i have them in the box, or daycare. i know how to use them better than any other pokemon.
|
Take a guess?
Correct, my signature's probably Feraligatr. (; |
well there are 3, but if your saying EVERY GAME then i guess amgmar and it became magmortar in D/P/PT which is shown in my profile pic. i also consider Dialga and Palkia my signiture pokemon which is obvious from my avatar and whatever than thing under your user name is called, you know the one that says"Dimensional pokemon rule" for me.
|
I have a signature pokemon for each game. This is due to me not having the tools to get the ones I DO want to train and use for the entire playthrough.
R/B/Y/G/S/C Games: Blastoise/ Vaporeon R/S/E Games: Mudkip D/P/Pt Games: Rapidash and Golduck HG/SS Games: Gyarados or Feraligator |
My signature pokemon has to be Donphan.
Ever since I saw it in the first movie, it's unknown status captivated me. |
I've used a Gengar every generation, and will until they stop making games.
I wet myself the first time I made it to Lavender Town and ran into the unidentifiable ghost. I wanted it so bad, but was so happy that I could catch the Gastly that appeared when I re-entered the Tower with my Sliph Scope. Ever since then, I've always used a Gastly, and import a Gastly egg at the beginning of each game, throwing my starter into a box never to be used again. I am so beyond stoked that I can finally have an all Ghost team in B/W :D |
Gotta be Ralts, ever since sapphire i have always caught and raised it into a lean mean killing machine !!! :)
|
I have no real signature Pokemon in the sense of this thread, I like using a variety. Contrary to this, stands of course, my current (Zombie) Jumpluffism (which was preceded by Magikarpism (Karp is still completely awesome, even after losing that spot), which was preceded by Tyranitarism (this was already quite a while before I was on PC though) and whatnot)

Gengar, Dusknoir, Gardevoir, and the starting bird. Always!
|
I usually like to go through the game multiple times, always using completely different pokemon.
However, whenever I do finish the game using a starter, it's always the fire one. Sometimes I even have multiple fire types on my team just because I love them so much. Charizard is probably my favorite of all, but I like Typhlosion, too. Blaziken is so/so; I like it because it's a fire type, but I'm not a huge fan of how it looks. |
Well, I actually have a few. Tyranitar's one that has never found his way off my team, and recently got replaced by another Tyranitar. My signature legendary would have to be Giratina now, the thing fills up the one slot void on my Uber team. The final one is Porygon-Z. The thing's just too underestimated.
|
Swellow. Whenever I play R/S/E(which is very rare), I have a Swellow. It's also my favourite flying type, so that helps.
|
That would be Gengar, I've had him since ever.
|
Quilava, with thrash, defo. <3
|
Hmmm my signature Pokemon would be a tough guess since I haven't always had the option of having it in each game I've played. For now, I'll say I don't have one
|
I would say Haunter/Gengar. I always end up with one on my team. I would just say Gengar but I can't always evolve it in some games, because of lack of ways to trade.
Same with Kadabra/Alakazam, though I end up with it on my team less often. And if we are talking the 4th Gen games, definitely Gengar and Alakazam, as I've raised those from egg multiple times, and the ones I finally raised right are a permanent part of my team. :D |
Clefable. Because it's adorable, and pink is the color of true manliness. It makes me very macho, indeed.
Oh, and Swampert. Just 'cause Mudkip is awesome. You know, for obvious reasons. |
Ever since I got Silver oh so long ago, my signature Pokemon's been Eevee with Iron Tail and Shadow Ball. <3
|
Take a wild, uneducated, completely random guess. :D You'd have to be an ameba not to get it and even then it'd be a pretty silly mistake!
Thing is, I can only really get him in challenges or something, not usually in a proper playthrough of the games themselves... :( (unless it's FR/LG, and even then you'd have to trade for the metal coat) I called my first one Ataraxia, and he was absolutely amazing... unfortunately he got stuck at the G/S/C barrier and hasn't really been used for a while... I tend to call some Aries since it pretty much is a god of war, (most people use them for gods of cheapness though... sad face) but I name the really epic ones in some games Ataraxia still. :) I'm going to be trading in a Scyther/Scizor into B&W at the earliest point so we can go through the game together! Scizor FTW!! xD |
Vaporeon, I love him and he was my second level 100 (first was Dragonite but he didn't have a good moveset.)
|
Sandslash. Enough said. Shadow Claw, Earthquake, Stone Edge, and X-Scissor.
|
I'm an avid Espeon user.
Before I began playing with Orre region, I was mainly interested in Milotic. Now I'm an Espeon, Milotic, and Froslass person. Hee! |
I have a couple. But the one I had the most on my team was Lopunny (Bonbon) I had trained him mostly to keep his happiness level strong. And after that, he just proved to be a great asset in the team to be able to attack the opponent first.
Ice punch to attack rock, ground and dragon pokemon first and take them out in one shot, two if it's Salamence with Intimidate. Return with normal STAB to increase its effects. Protect to check out what attacks my opponent may have, or if in a tight situation. And possibly change the quick attack (rarely used it except once) to thunder Wave to help the rest of my team =3 |
I have a couple of signature pokemon that are always permanents on my teams.
Alakazam is one of them. Arcanine is the other. Both 2 of my favourites of all time. |
I've got a couple of favourites, mainly the "blade" based ones such as Sandslash, Gallade, Scyther, Scizor...
However, when I reach into the depths of my soul (quite sad, I know), two pokemon spring to mind: Cloyster and Marowak I just love the irony of Cloyster: a smug, arrogant face in a physically indestructible shell, but as soon as you Sp. Attack him, he just flops completely :D As for Marowak, he's just too cool. I love the idea of the bone which he treats like a sacred weapon. I also think the signature attacks are pretty cool; for me, a Marowak without Bone Club or Bonemerang is not a true Marowak. I currently have both in Platinum: Freez the Cloyster, lvl 78, Def 355, Surf - Ice Beam - Spikes - Spike Cannon Femuroy the Marowak, lvl 57, Attk 125 - Def 177, Bonemerang - Double Edge - Rock Smash - Rock Climb (soon to be Earthquake) |
My most used Pokemon is my Electivire.
I use it to help in training my other Pokemon, I use it in the BF, I use it against the E4, and I've used it in multiple Wi-Fi Battles. I wouldn't say it's my signature Pokemon since I use many others, but it's definitely my most used. |
My Umbreon Blackstarr. He's amazing. Umbreon has always been my favorite Pokemon. The runner up for my signature Pokemon is my Bannete, Velvet.
|
Abraaaaa!
I catch abra every game at Cerelean City.... From Yellow -> Leaf Green. I started Diamond yesterday and have no idea what im doing :D Umm sapphire , i started 4 times - had a Dustox / Beautifly every single time before the 2nd Gym. Quote:

|
My favorite Pokemon ever has to be Meowth! But I rarely have one on my team.
I also like the Eeveeolutions. I usually get at least one of them as soon as I can. |
Definitely Pikachu ^-^, i always have one on my team, and I never evolve it, I usually have a light ball attached to it
|
I can't remember what I liked when I played years ago... now its the Gardevoir (female of coarse :p ). I actually had my friend catch and breed me a ralts egg when I started my Plat game since I would be unable to transfer my Emerald Gardevoir (and I actually ran 2 Gardevoirs for a while in Emerald).
Most likely when the english version of Black or White comes out I'll transfer a Ralts egg (or 2 to hopefully get a female...) over ASAP. |
my signature pokemon is either lucario, blaziken or salamence.... lucario is my favorite pokemon, salamence just pwns, and blaziken was my first lvl 100 from emerald! i just cant decide
|
My hunting-bred Absol, I suppose. He's got Super Luck, and a false swipe/mean look moveset. He's been with me for a while, and I intend to keep him with me at all times. I'm... protective of his game data, to say the least. He's a true PokeBro.
|
Dragonite is obviously my signature pokemon!
Had mine since FireRed! |
Gotta be Shuckle and Shedinja. I was young when I found out about them, and thought they were awesome gods because of Shuckle's huge defence and Wonder Guard on Shedinja. They are also two of three pokemon I have ever trained to level 100 (Shuckle in Gold and Shedinja in Sapphire). I can't let go of my youthful feelings ;) I'm also a huge bug fan as well ;D
|
I like Mightyena and Typhlosion. |
My Honchkrow :) It helps me in Pokeathlon and everything.
But theres also my Altaria =P She's good too. But I'd honestly say Houndoom or Gengar. |
Typhlosion. I have my original on crystal and then the one i got on emerald, which is in heartgold now. he's got such a beastly fire blast
|
Mightyena and Gardevoir are two. I like them because they're underappreciated, although Mightyena isn't actually that good, tbh, I still love him. His Rock Smash was actually powerful in Emerald.
Lucario is a cliché, but I like him. However, he's such a cliché, I only use him competitively and for pokédex purposes nowadays. Oh, and Battle Frontier, as you almost need to EV train to win there. I guess starter pokémon could be seen as my "signature pokémon", as I hardly ever ditch them except for once I've stopped playing the storyline. But everyone uses them... |
i actualy have a signature team :D
1.Charizard 2.Blastoise 3.Venusaur 4.Alakazam 5.Raichu 6.Golem But if I have to pick only one, definitely Charizard... I always start with Char :D Even hack him into the other games :) |
Crobat or Gengar. Dunno why, but I always end up with one or both of them.
