Resurrect a Shieldon from an Armor Fossil, then evolve it =]

King Raichu July 4th, 2010 2:36 AM

Cool, thanks! I'll go find one underground because I have Pokemon Pearl, take it to the museum then level it up so it can evolve.

Shieldon evolves at level 40, I think, as all the Fossils do (except Aerodactyl, of course)

WRONG!! Shieldon evolves at level 30, when it learns ancientpower. I don't think you have to make Shieldon learn Ancientpower, it just does when it's at level 30.

Here's as much information I know about Shielodon/Bastiodon.

Shielodon can be found in the underground tunnels in Pokemon Pearl. They can be found in Pokemon Platinum, but whether a Skull or Armor Fossil is found in the game depends on the last digit of your Trainer ID (Armor-Odd digit, Skull-Even digit).

Shielodon is a Rock/Steel-Type Pokemon, which evolves in Bastiodon at Level30, at which it learns AncientPower. However this is not linked to the evolution.

Hope this helps.

(Oh, and Shielodon and Cranidos evolve at level30. The lowest level of all evolving ancient Pokemon)

Nope. Both Gen. IV Fossils evolve at Lv. 30.

Ahoy, mates. Future simple questions such as, "Where do I find [Pokemon/item/place] in-game" belong in the Quick Question and Answer Thread. Thanks.
