Maybe it is the Phoenix Pokemon I've been asking for since Season1 Episode1 of Pokemon (Ho-Oh Doesn't Count) Fire/Flying? Fire/Dragon? Maybe Fire/Flying then evolves and becomes Fire/Dragon?

Fire -> Fire/Flying -> Fire/Dragon

Chrisixx July 11th, 2010 3:49 AM

when will the next coro coro magazine come out?

Ho-Oh and Moltres are both already Phoenixes.

Ho-Oh being the Eastern variety and Moltres the Western.

Azure-Supernova July 11th, 2010 4:22 AM

Eagle?

Hmmmm... definitely looks like one of these:

Then again it could be a Golden Eagle or even an Osprey. If this is the evolution to Mamepato and his (supposed) freaky looking turkey evo, then it might be worth investing in raising the ugly son of a, just to get one. But I'm hoping it's either a bird on it's own like Skarmory or it evolves from something a bit smaller like Fearow did.

Major_Tom July 11th, 2010 4:53 AM

A partial picture of it is now viewable on Serebii.

Ho-Oh July 11th, 2010 4:59 AM

Just going to link a picture, but thanks to the above poster for noticing. Also, it's called Wooguru.

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/corocoro07.jpg

Wow I really like this bird so much more now. The sprite looks surprisingly large... and looks much more like a legendary.

That looks pretty cool, but I'm disappointed about the fact that it's typing is normal/flying...

Wooguru (ウォーグル) is the Valor Pokemon, is Normal / Flying, weighs 41 kg, and stands 1.5m tall. Its name derives from "war" and "eagle."

I gotta admit, i like him so much more too :D
I wasent that iffy but eh it was good. hurry up leaking! sorry.
But it dosent look like the 3rd evo. if it was then... YIKES O_O

Iceshadow3317 July 11th, 2010 5:21 AM

Gotta love EAGLES!!!!!!!!! I got what I wanted woot!! These pokemon will be in my team.

ionbru xp July 11th, 2010 5:22 AM

its name is wooguru which sounds a lot like Garuda the mythical bird.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garuda

if it is based off a Garuda its probably a legendary :)

I want a non-Legendary evolving Phoenix... From the ashes type thing... You know what I mean?

Rengoku July 11th, 2010 5:23 AM

Oh yes!
Finally a native bird I like since Pidgey line!
This one is just epic *__*

It kind of looks like Garuda too...

WARNING THIS PICTURE IS HUGE!

Well someone wanted a Normal Legendary Pokemon... There you go...

Arolu July 11th, 2010 5:26 AM

It does remind me a lot of that eagle-like Digimon in the second series...
Anyway, it does look amazing and I would definitely have one!
I did expect it to be a Normal and Flying typed Pokemon but, I bet an awesome move set and statistics will help with that.

:)

Iceshadow3317 July 11th, 2010 5:26 AM

I don't think it is,but I wouldn't mind another group of Legendary Birds. If it is,I don't think it is part of the Trio. For the simple fact it is normal type.

This guy?

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/2f/Aquilamon.jpg

I'm pretty sure Aquilamon was based on Garuda as well xD

Gymnotide July 11th, 2010 5:29 AM

tbh I think it's awesomeness is stifled by its name being essentially "Woogle."

WOOOOOOOGLE

Anyway, less based on Garuda than the fact that Eagles were supernatural in Mesoamerica?

Ho-Oh July 11th, 2010 5:30 AM

Wow @ similarities o__o;

I like Wooguru more. :(

Iceshadow3317 July 11th, 2010 5:37 AM

I wonder what the American name will be for Wooguru?

I hope we get a new badass flying move to match the new badass birdy.

Warbird or something stupid... Maybe just Garuda xD (I'm nicknaming it Garuda if it isn't dubbed that)

Free Fall is the Pokemon's new move its a two turn move where you pick up the opponent the first turn and slam them down on the second...

The other members can be Thunderbird and Roc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roc_(mythology)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderbird_(mythology)

Iceshadow3317 July 11th, 2010 5:48 AM

Ya I was thinking of a Thunderbird and Roc acutlly.

It says the Roc had fought the Solar Bird, Gurada before. So it is highly possable.

Sora's Nobody July 11th, 2010 5:55 AM

I really really like Woogoru, its just plain Awesomness!! oh and @Calder Garuda is the name of a digimon! Not the name of the newest member of the 5th Gen (we know of)

Ravecat July 11th, 2010 5:59 AM

No, Garuda is the name of a mythical bird that the Digimon is based on.
