Just finished watching Death Note

Death Note is the first anime I've watched and I just finished it so I was just wondering.

If I liked that would there be any other anime you would reccomend or even just a series you would reccomend to anyone?

Thanks.

I'm not really sure an anime that is exactly like Death Note, but you can try Angel Beats.

Its Action and Supernatural just like Death Note :x

If you liked Death Note, try Cowboy Bebop, Blood+, and Code Geass.

You should definitely watch Code Geass, its kinda similar to Death Note but it has more action. I love it, its one of my favorite animes. <3

I think I may have watched a few episodes of Code Geass a while back but stopped watching it for some reason.

I'll start there then, thanks.

If you want a short and sweet one i would say Elfen Lied. Some dark themes but very good.

Someone suggested Blood+ earlier on, awesome show.

Don't scar him, he's only 14. Unless he's just pretending to be, in which case I'm reccomending it. Still, if you're squeamish...

I'm going to say Darker Than Black. Or, if you're looking for something less serious, Soul Eater.

Death Note = Magnificent bastardry + Overly ideal protagonist + Bloodbath

Death Note + MOAR RIDICULOUSNESS + Large Hams + GIANT ROBOTS = 1% of Code Geass

Sounds like I'll pass on Elfen Lied then.

I'll watch an episode of each of the shows reccomended.

Again for this, I would recommend Eden of the East [Higashi no Eden].

Cowboy Bebop hands down is one of the best anime series ever. Seriously enrich yourself and watch it. Otherwise, Gundam Wing, Code Geass, Gurren Laagan, Full Metal Alchemist, and Ghost in the Shell are all good choices.

I watch Elfen Lied when I was 14. It isn't that bad :/ But, if your not into blood and gore, I'd pass.

Hajime No Ippo. I really wish I could go in depth, but it's just an anime about boxing, although it does go out of its way to give most characters a background and character development. Just think of it as Baki The Grappler - crap + boxing.
It's really good once you can get past the fact that it starts off really slow.

I would also suggest Gantz, but it has its shares of problems. There is an unnecessary amount of nudity and gore, the fights are few and far between because the characters always have to reminisce for half the episode, and it keeps you in the dark for most of the show. You don't know anything about Gantz until you read further into the manga, but it really gets awesome much later.

Go for Darker Than Black it is really good. Blood+ is also good to watch.

I second the suggestion of Gantz, but only the manga version because the anime got the FMA treatment.

But I definitely suggest Onani Master Kurosawa. It's starts off as a giant parody of death note and develops into a coming of age story with excellent plot device and incredible character development. I swear, when you read this the character looks exactly like Light! There's also awesome Death Note references and a few Code Geass references also.
