DSi first timer?
So I'm definitely buying a new DS. My current one(one I bought back in november, used) has dirt where you cant get it out, the stylus is chewed, and the screen snap part broke, and at certain angles the screen goes out.
I've heard from some people that they can't battle(pokemon) other people using their DSi, with the other people having a lite/brick. Is this true? Also, can the DSi connect to the nintendo wifi usb connector? |
If you are going to buy a new DS, do not get a new DSi. Get a cheaper model, like the Lite or Phat. You can get those really cheap nowadays. So, why should you buy and old DS instead of getting the latest tech? Well, a brand new console, the Nintendo 3DS, is coming out by March. It is a brand new system, looks just like a DSi (but much more sleek), and has DSiWare (however the 3DS has even more cameras!), but has some brand new features, like amazing graphics, an analog stick, and 3D, WITHOUT GLASSES! Also, it has backwards capabilities with the DS, so you can play all your DS games on it. So, if you are desperate for a new DS, just get some of the earlier models, and save your money for the 3DS.
Also, about your first question, the answer is NO!, that is not true :) |
Phew, thats good.
But what can I put on the SD card that could be useful? Like, can I put GBA emulator type things on there, or DS games, etc? |
