Can someone help me please?

Okay, I'm at the point where I know I need help. And I think I should get into detail first. For months bordering on years, I've been studying a foreign (to me) language known by the English-speaking people as Japanese. I'm at the point now that I know about enough to qualify as a kindergartner and I decided to try to match kana to the romaji equivalent to see exactly how well I can recognize the characters and I decided out of random happenstance to try to do that with screenshots of Black and White. And I have no clue how accurate this is:

meganeni utsuru takuchinno biru!
memaiga shichiyaugurai sutekine

http://serebii.net/blackwhite/whiteforest1.png
okoshiko kuuki!
kimosakoko kaze!

I feel like an idiot... u_u'

Why don't you use a picture-chart to match it? :/ Why are you asking us? Google if you think you're wrong.
And if you know the language at a kindergartner's level.. then shouldn't you at least know the alphabet?
:/ Otherwise that might give japanese kindergartners a bad name :///

All in all, dictionaries are for winners.

My best advice is to keep practicing untill you can speak full blown Japanese. Mabye take some lessons?

Kura: I did and there's some that isn't exact. Like the first character in the first picture. I know the alphabet but enough to know "I recognize that one..."

biancafanboy: That's why I did this and to maybe get pointers. I'm planning to be in a class to learn Japanese when I start college this January but I'm impatient... That and I don't know how correct this is and I'm hoping to find someone who can correct my kana to romaji translation.

First caption reads:
"meganeni utsuru takusanno biru!
memaiga shichyaugurai sutekine"
Roughly translates to "Tons of eye-catching buildings! Makes you feel dizzy, but that's kinda cool."

Last caption reads:
"oishii kuuki!
kimochiii kaze!"
Roughly translates to: "What a gorgeous atmosphere! The wind feels great."

Corrections are in bold. You confused 'sa' with 'chi' in the first and last lines and you're reading 'i' as if it were 'ko'. They're quite different:

i:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/22/I-hiragana.gif

ko:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/19/KO-hiragana.gif

Also, notice how the 'ya' after 'chi' in the second line in the first caption is slightly smaller, which means it's appended to 'chi', therefore making it read as 'chya' and not 'chi-ya'.

You're on the right track, though, so keep it up.

Thanks. I didn't noticed that the ya character was noticibly smaller. -_- I really need to pay more attention. -_-

But thanks for correcting that. ^_^

lol, no need to look down on yourself like that. All this will eventually come with practice, and when you're used to all the characters.

If there's one tip you should follow, it's the simple fact that if you really want to learn this well, be sure to read. And read. And then read. And then some. You're going to reach a point where you can just read this kind of text as quickly as you can read alphanumeric characters - all you need to do is keep practicing.

First of all, this isn't the right forum.
Second, if it can be answered by google, please use google.
