1 new pokemon,Victinis' type !
The Japanese Yahoo website has inadvertently leaked Ken Sugimori images of a new Bug-type Pokemon, the previously revealed swan Pokemon, and Shikijika. You can see all three images below. Victini has been confirmed as a Psychic / Fire type. It is the Victory Pokemon and has a new ability called Victory Star. It stands 0.4m tall and weighs 4.0kg. Ken Sugimori images of Aloe, Dento, and Team Plasma were also leaked.
Spoiler:
- pokebeach The swan looks so much better now and that bug is pure win..! |
Wow... poor Aloe. She's so fat.
Anyways, I'm excited about Fire/Psychic typing. A lot actually. And the new bug looks great. I think the swan will be Water/Flying imo. |
I think that's just her apron and the swan probably will be water/flying....but that bug looks awesome..i'm all excited for it's evolutions !
|
wow, this is some cool info!
|
Suddenly Victini is near the top of my must-use Pokemon list... I've been wanting a Psychic/Fire Pokemon since the first Generation. I wanted something a bit... bigger and fiercer. But you can't have it all.
Also, really like the bug, can't stand the little deer, and the swan is so much better in this picture. |
Well, you may be right. xD
I can see that little bug turning into an awesome, fiery leaf which will be Fire/Bug. That's be awesome.4 4x Weakness to Rock tho'. :| |
Oh my God, 5th Gen's Caterpie <3
The other two are... less cute, but I still like them! Also what Fire/Psyduck? ...Psychic*, wow. XDD; |
cool :D i like the swan and the new bug... but how can you get Victini again?
|
The bug is definitely cute. :D Psychic/Fire is an interesting new typing. I think it's the apron that's making Aloe look rather round.
|
Agreed. 5th Gen Caterpie should be full of win, and it's good to know that they are keeping the tradition rolling. Can't wait to see more on it, because I'm lovin' the buggy.
|
That bug ppokemon is so cool! and yes Aloe really does look fat. so they are bringing to things in this generation a black person and a fat gym/elite
|
*falls over laughin* i called it, i was the first person to say Victini was fire, you guys doubted me, i wasnt wrong hyeahaahahhaahahhha
i like the new bug, its got the 1st gen look, but it feels fresh& unique the swan is ok, & bambie is awesome XD |
I ACTUALLY LOVE THAT BUG POKEMON, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, I HATE BUG POKEMON NORMALLY...
|
Fifth Gen's Caterpie is so cute. I like it already and can only imagine its evolutions to get better.
I always liked the swan. I too agree that it might be Water/Flying. If I didn't know any better, this region is coming in with quite a few flying types [Mamepato, Hatooboo (Mamepato's evo?), Koromori, Wooguru, plus Swan]. Shikijika is cute. I assume it's going to be a Grass type considering the flower upon its head. That wasn't how I pictured Aloa to be like from her VS. screen shot, but she's not actually fat; it's just the pants and apron that are brought out too much in the art concept. I'm still curious to exactly what her role is in the game (Elite? Gym Leader? Or something else?). |
Loving this gen even more than I already do. I also REALLY happy about Victinis typing. Psychic and fire are both my favorite types so I'm content. I really wonder what his ability does actually.
The caterpiller looks so great and has that caterpie style to it. I hope it doesn't evolve into a butterfly though and will be more playable that Butterfree and Beautifly. The swan looks rather attitudish in the artwork. Like its ready to yell at someone. And the stance reminds me of a mom with her hands on her hips xD. The deer hmm because of the artwork and seeing it close up I have my doubts about it being a Stantler pre evo but only time will tell. I'm glad to see a nice unstereotypical black women in a game such as pokemon. Hopefully Aloe is strong and give me a run for my money. |
Upon looking at Aloe again, she isn't reallly fat, but the pants are like 23 sizes too big and the arpon is huge. She looks like a Big Bertha follower from Ranger 2. remember her? lol
The Bug type, Like said before, is full of epic win. I bet it'l'l only learn like, bug bite an string shot, but I don't care, it's going to be on my team. Shikijika is... Like a deer version of Shaymin. I'm guessing Grass, or maybe even Grass/Normal, or Normal/Grass... The swan is amazing. Do I sence a freind for Altaria? (looks wise, not evo wise) Or a Split Wingull evo? We saw team plasma the other day... Dento... I'd rather not say anything. |
Wow, they look pretty sweet xD
I like the deer one xD |
Omg Gen5 Caterpie <33.
Cool typing for Victini, and nice swan. Not so sure about the deer though. :/ |
Nice typing for Victini! :D
D'awwwwwwww! That 5th Gen Caterpie is so adorable! I wonder what it's gonna evolve into... |
Psy/Fire, huh? Interesting. So much for PUREFLYING!, but this is good too.
The new Pokemon designs aren't bad at all. The swan isn't much more than a stylized mudane swan, but that's okay. Shikijika is sort of odd. Very much reminiscent of Shaymin. Assuming Aloe's a trainer, she looks like she could be pretty tough, and Dento... Is a guy, right? The design is not bad, it's just hard to tell. xD I wonder what Victory Star does. |

The Gen 5 caterpie looks amazing but I hate his potential typing of Grass/Bug because of 2 4x weaknesses and 3 other regular weaknesses. Hopefully it turns out to have better stats than Parasect in it's final form. I am guessing the Swan pokemon is one of Aloe's pokemon and is Water/Flying. I would love if the Shikijinka branch evo season theory is true. I would love for a Normal/Fire, Normal/Grass, Normal/Ice and Normal/Psychic. Psychic/Fire on Victini makes it a great special sweeper. It seems like we are getting tons of psychic and fire types and very little water types for once. We still need more Dark and Ghost types. |

The deer looks okay now that I've seen some better artwork of it, but what's with the Shellos coat? I actually like the swan, and I've always thought Weedle and Burmy were cool Pokemon. Aloe looks ridiculous, and I still think Dento is a bit fruity... |
Haha, I was correct that Victini looks like it'll be able to flick a fire with that sly look on its face. XD However, didn't expect it to be part psychic. D: Even though it would be nice that another tiny legendary isn't psychic, I'm cool with the fire/psychic typing.
I like the bug's art. Looks cute, though it reminds me more of Weedle and than Caterpie. XD. Can't wait to see what kind of bug it'll evolve into. Shikijika's art is adorable (again, BAMBIIIIII), but when looking at the trailer I thought its fur color was brown, not pink. O.o I also like the art of that swan. It looks fierce. XD I too like Aloe and Dento's art. I notice though Dento's art has his eyes slightly bigger than his anime counterpart. Also, looks like Dento will be important somehow in the games, so can't wait to see that. |

That swan looks a lot better than it did in that previous art. I like it a lot more now. I also think it'll be one of Aloe's Pokemon. It has the same pose as Aloes artwork. :P |
If you look closely, the deer has Skymin's head and tail, as well as Shellos' colors (pink and white seperated by a yellow band), even more closely, it has Skitty's forehead, obviously, the next CoroCoro will have all these Pokemon and characters, complete with their names and types......
