Can Salamence know Dragon Claw when it's at level 50 without TMs and breeding in Emerald?

vaporeon7 August 23rd, 2010 2:25 PM

Yes it could learn it at Lv49 as a Bagon, evolve into Shelgon on that Lv and evolve into Salamence on Lv50.

What are the chances of finding a shiny Pokemon in D/P/Pt/HG/SS?

Planetes. August 25th, 2010 3:46 PM

I'd have to guess 1 in 8192 same as all games unless they changed it.

Name every Pokemon with a character in their name that is not part of the english alphabet.

Diablerie August 25th, 2010 4:13 PM

Planetes. August 25th, 2010 6:20 PM

What is the only type that doesn't dual-type with Flying in any Pokémon? (Don't check Serebii or any other source.)

rockman0 August 26th, 2010 11:45 AM

Ghost type?

How many Pokemon could learn Magnitude in Generation II?

TheAbyss August 26th, 2010 2:08 PM

Eight? Oh, and Flying type DOES dual-type with ghost, in Drifloon and Drifblim. Since you answered wrong, I'll just leave it up. :)

Planetes. August 26th, 2010 2:57 PM

^Its either Grass or Ground. I don't think I know a Grass/Flying or a Ground Flying...

TheAbyss August 26th, 2010 3:27 PM

Tropius and Hoppip's family are Grass/Flying, and Gligar and Gliscor are Ground/Flying. Try again ^-^

Even though Magnitude was introduced in Generation II, it was the only Generation II Pokemon to be able to learn it. I realize I may have worded the question wrong.

Also, is the answer Fighting?

Planetes. August 26th, 2010 3:41 PM

Okay let's see I'll name 1 of each... (crap I was beat by 2 minutes)

Ghost-Drifloon
Dark-Murkrow
Steel-Skarmory
Poison-Golbat
Fire-Charizard
Dragon-Dragonite
Ground-Gligar
Grass-Hoppip
Water-Gyarados
Psychic-Xatu
Bug-Butterfree
Ice-Arcticuno
Electric-Zapdos
Rock-Aerodactyl
Normal-Pidgeot
Fighting-??? Got it!

Fighting, right.
I am going to see if I can make a fighting/flying although they are virtual counterparts
-----------------------------------
How many Dragon Type moves were in the first generation?

TheAbyss August 26th, 2010 3:48 PM

Yeah, I thought you meant how many Pokémon in total could learn Magnitude when it was introduced in the Gen 2 games. It IS odd that only Gen 1 Pokémon could learn it back then though XD.

Also, yes, the answer IS Fighting XD

Hmmm... Now for a new trivia question... I know!

How many Dragon Types are there as of Generation IV, counting multi-form Pokémon as only 1 and not counting Arceus holding a Draco Plate. As a bonus, I suppose you could try naming them all without cheating. (I know I can lol)

EDIT: ah, you posted while I was typing ^-^ the answer to your question is 1, Dragon Rage, but since it always does 40 damage, it technically doesn't count :P.

Planetes. August 26th, 2010 3:57 PM

^
Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite, Kingdra, Bagon,Shelgon, Salamence, Vibrava, Flygon, Altaria, Rayquazza, Gible, Garchomp, Gabite, Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina!
-----------------------------------------
What non legendary Pokemon has the highest BST

TheAbyss August 26th, 2010 4:05 PM

You forgot the Lati Twins, who are Dragon/Psychic, but oh well.

The Answer to your question is Slaking, who has a BST of 670 if I'm not mistaken.

Crap, I'm running out of question ideas XD

Name a Fire-Type Pokémon that can learn a Grass-Type move. (besides Solarbeam and not counting Flame Plate Arceus)

EDIT: In fact, name all 6 :P
