She is a Ghost trainer Second Elite Four member; Giima; He has a Lv. 48 Zuruzukin, Lv. 48 Warubiaru, Lv. 48 Leparudusu & Lv. 50 Kirikizan. He is a Dark trainer Third Elite Four member; She has a Lv. 48 Rankurusu, Lv. 48 Musharna, Lv. 48 Shinbora and Lv. 50 Gochiruzeru. She is a Psychic trainer Final Elite Four member; Renbu; He has a Lv. 48 Nageki, Lv. 48 Dageki, Lv. 48 Roopushin & Lv. 50 Kojondo. He is a Fighting trainer Belle is the champion. She has Lv. 66 Murando, Lv. 66 Yanakki, Lv. 66 Musharna & Lv. 70 Starter. ^So, whataya think? :D |
I thought for a second that they revealed them x_X
I'm hoping for a Grass-type Elite Four member. A gardener girl thing. xD |
Fire elite four member( The girl that dressed up like flint in the anime)
|
Yeah, I saw that a while ago too. Lance may as well be a Flying type member as well as a Dragon one.
An E4 I'd like to see: Member 1: Rock type Member 2: Electric type Member 3: Normal type Member 4: Steel type Champion: Poison type Actually, it might be nice to see another Rival Champion, but a Poison Champion would be better. |
Actually, an idea I've had brewing in my head since Gen 3 was that once you beat the Champion (and thus, consequently, become the new Champion) that you'd get calls from random Trainers who would come and challenge YOU.
Hope B&W includes some sorta feature like this. It'd be great to have a steady stream of capable combatants in-game after completing the main storyline. |
I really don't care what the types are. I just hope they put up a challenge for me this time :/
|
okay guys now think about this for a second: Isshu is definetley different than they other regions, as is its Pokemon League since the gyms are in castles, amusement parks, restuarants, etc. What if the league was a Tournament like in the Anime? I would love it and consider it very possible
|
They need another fire E4 member. Flint didn't even use complete Fire types for goods sake. But other than that a Normal E4 member seems bizzare but I like it to tell the truth. As long as they are better than the E4 of the past 4 gens I'm content.
|
Just so you guys know, tournament-style battling for the elite four can be discussed here. Let's keep this thread for type/e4 members, etc, only. :)
|
I hope the E4 can be seen hanging outside of the Pokemon league HQ like Flint and Lucian in Gen 4 :)
The champ will be seen outside for sure I bet like in gens 1,2,3, and 4 :P I just hope they show all four Elites not just two like in DPPt :) |
What i would like to see is the elite 4 (gym leaders too)having their own house places in the region. and also the type remaining thing. The leader never has set type of pokemon
|
Quote:
They could randomly generate trainers with like lv50-70 pokes final evolution pokes. Not saying they have to have evos, just so that you dont end up fighting oddishes and rattatas. They call you up, and you meet them at the E4 Champion room and battle. They could also throw in like important characters like Ash, Gary Oak, Red and more(I dont watch the anime) with their corresponding teams. |
I'd love to see the introduction of Flying in the Elite Four, and Steel making a comeback I would gladly approve of :D

o.o I never even figured that champions had a special type that they use except Lance. |

im hopin NO SINGLE TYPES, that **** makes it way to easy. i want all of them to be using an assortment of types, making it FAR more challenging |

Elite Four:
1# Grass 2# Fire 3# Water 4# Electric Champ# Rock/Steel |

|
I hope for Flying, Electric, Ground/Grass, and Steel Elite Four trainers. I also hope the Champion has varied types. Besides Lance, I didn't go for Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald champion types.
|
Flying
or Electric all the way |
I want
#1 Grass #2 Water #3 Electric #4 Fire Champion: Mixed types but at least one fire, Grass, Electric and Water type pokemon Perfect E4 |
wish we knew more about the ELITE 4
|
You know how the Pokemon League is shown as a castle in D/P/Pt, what if was a castle agin in B/W, but AN ACTUAL CASTLE! And the E4 could be the Princes/Princesses and the Champion a double battle with the King/Queen! Seems like a storybook, but I kinda like the idea.
|
I got an Idea what if they make the E4 after the seasons, Grass-spring, Fire-Summer, Flying- Fall, and Ice- Winter, as for the Champion...give them Rock type, the type that has always been the first for the gyms is now the type for the Champ, talk about Irony :P

http://a.imageshack.us/img9/7379/terakarp.png note: Flint had only two fire type pokemon. I don't really call that an elite fire type trainer.......................... |

But a Shikijika evolution for each e4 member? That actually sounds somewhat possible. Actually, I would love that. |
Quote:
They just might do that, awww i cant w8 to see the layout of their rooms if they do *.* |
I'd like the league (If one) to be full of puzzles, tricks and traps.
Warp portals, trapdoors, that sort of thing. Like one big hard gym puzzle. |
Explorer of Destiny, isn't that what Victory Road is for?
Anyway, I don't think that it needs to be a team of six Haxikarp, I believe Lance was a major offender back in the day and nobody wants to repeat that spectacle. Anyhow, I like the season idea, but frankly I'm cool with whatever they try to put out there. As long as the characters are interesting and the battles are fun, I don't mind who they train. |
yeah, but you are missing my point.
I'm saying that each elite four room, rather than just oh-ill-walk-up-to-him-and-talk-to-him, should be a puzzle. |
Quote:
|
Please no Monotype champs. The champion is a trainer just like you who has beaten the E4, he should not have a type theme unless he moved up from gym leader or E4 member, which was true with Lance and Wallace (steven was not completely dual type, though he did have a sort of mineral vibe coming off of him.)

i kinda wanted a double battle two elites in one room like the psy. gym from hoen, only using flying types

Post Elite Four
Not sure if this thread has already been made but what do people think will happen after you beat the Elite Four?
It's official that we will only be seeing new pokemon until the end of the game but i'm guessing that there will be a way for us to see and catch old pokemon afterwoulds. will we be able to go to a new area? new items? discuss |
Read the announcement. No speculation threads. Merging with the elite four thread, because although it doesn't directly relate, it only really fits in here. Discussing what happens after the Elite Four won't fit anywhere else so yeah. D:
|
Wouldn't it be cool if for the E4, they don't put it that ... is about to send in ... thing. So it'd be FAR more challenging not knowing what they're gonna be sending out next :D
Edit : And they should randomly generate the order which we battle them!!! whoot! |
Rock, Grass, Flying, Normal, and Electric? Its actually nice idea to me. Well, At least this is my thoughts :
- Rock : Female. - Flying : Male. - Normal : Male. - Electric : Female. - Grass : Female. That's all I guess. |
I will like it that after the first time you beat them you wont have to go thru the hall of fame stuff, and the credits wont come up.

I don't know if anyone else said this but I think the Elites shouldn't be type restricted they should have multitype teams like normal trainers who have fought there way to the top and the champ would be your rival that would be perfect
|
Quote:
|
I'd love to see the 4 as Ice, Flying, Fire and maybe Grass, and the Champion as Electric. With a variety of multitypes mixed in, of course, but those would be the common denominator for each team. Make each room a puzzle revolving around that type, and voila! A perfect Elite 4. Maybe not a puzzle for the Champion, but something cool like... idk. xD
|
I'd like theme-based teams rather than type-based. For example, the theme could be gluttony, and the member might have Snorlax, Swalot, Shuckle (ability), etc. (I know there are no previous Pokes, that was an example.)
|
Here's what I think:
First: Ice Second: Dark Third: Electric Fourth: Steel Champion: mixed types |
OMG, what if Lt. Surge was an E4 member? If Isshu is, in fact, based on New York, then it could be part of America too, and Lt. Surge went home to Isshu to be in the Elite 4.
|
Well some of the types not being used for gyms this gen are: Dark, Rock, Psychic, or Poison-type Gyms according to Pokebeach so maybe those could be the E4 types :)
|
Quote:
I can't wait to see who the champion is though. I know that it'll be someone you encounter at multiple points throughout the game, since that always seems to be the pattern within the games. |
Quote:
|
well, not sure if you guys like it or not (since ppl Lurv teh dragons, even thought it would be the third time) but the final e4 may be a dragon tamer named murou, according to pokejungle, who has been crazy-accurate lately. There is rumoured to be 12 dragons in Isshu (minus the 3 legend ones) that's still 9 Dragons. We know Ononokusu is strong and there is a rumored dark/dragon hydra, so we'll have to see.
|

Dragons aren't over used in the E4
Cynthia had a Garchomp, Lance had all his crappy annoying Dragonite's and Drake had like Shelgons and Salamence's. There weren't many dragons used (not that there were very much variety) And Gyarados isn't a dragon type so it doesn't count. Since there will be so many dragon types in Isshu there will be certainly a Dragon type in either the E4 or the last gym leader (Dragons are too strong to be gym 1-7) And I would prefer it in the E4 as I want a major challenge. |
Quote:
Gen I: Lance Gen II: Lance, again; though champion Gen III: Drake Gen IV: None, though Cynthia had one, which wasn't bad. So I just think with there being a dragon trainer in 3/4 regions is just like people hate rock being the first gym in 3/4 regions. But there's no rock gym, so I doubt there will be a dragon E4 member. |
They should have a few of the types that you've noted are not in the E4, but not all of them. I think there should be an Electric, Grass, Flying and Water type, with the Champion being miscellaneous, like Blue or Cynthia.
|
I wonder if they will have an E4 member as a triple battle. It seems unlikely that there will be a triple battle in the gyms as there are already 3 gym leaders in the first gym (even though you dont have a 3 way btattle with them) so it would be very unlikely that there would be another gym with three leaders.
When they introduced double battle's in R/S they had Tate and Liza as double leaders. so I pray that there will be a triple E4 member. |

Personally I'm more than sick and tired of those E4 members who only use dragon pokémon. In Kanto it was exciting and challenging to face Lance who was supposedly this great dragon tamer and stuff. Johto had Clair as the final gym leader which was quite nice because of her Kingdra and stuff but then it was revealed that Lance had become the champion and it started to feel pretty boring. And finally in Generation III in Hoenn's E4 we had a new member called Drake who AGAIN used those dragon pokémon. And FINALLY IN SINNOH we have this cool pokémon champion and what does she use as her signature pokémon?! HUH? ANYONE?! A freakin' dragon pokémon called Garchomp that was listed as an über and became one of the most OU pokémon ever. So yeah, I am literally full of those dragon gym leaders (though there have been only one gym leader) and those other trainers so it is no stunner at all that I will hate it if the new regional champion is going to use any dragon pokémon. Or if there will be any E4 members using dragon-type.
I also wish that the unrevealed E4 won't have both Dark and Ice as their usage because we have had them both twice already. To remind you both Lorelei and Glacia were using Ice-type while Karen and Sidney used Dark-type. In Hoenn they were in the same league so it was way too easy because they both have weakness for Fighting-type. That's why I wish they'd add something like Water, Grass, Normal, Electric, Steel or Ghost in to the Isshu League so we would have something new for a while. I'm really tired to see those same kind and really easy beaten trainers when they are supposed to be the best in the whole region. |
1st: Blue
2nd: Lance (sorry dragon haters) 3rd: Steven 4th: Cynthia 5th: New Isshu Champion Either that or a place where you can battle the champions of each Region. |

1: Electric
2: Flying 3: Rock 4: Grass Champion: Mixed |
1st: electric
2nd: Steel 3rd: Normal would be cool. 4th: Ice Champ: Mixed Has anyone ever thought of having E4 special rules? Like nintendo adds a bonus like double battles, or maybe Use 3 pokemon or something. That would be cool if there was one E4 member who was like the strongest double battler or something. And the champion is a regular battle. But I guess this would get rid of a special seriousness people feel when battling E4. That would be a cool I dea if you could face champions of different regions. I would love that! |
I'd like to see a grass type E4 member. Quite lacking
|
Wasn't Bruno in Gen I a rock master?
Anyway, the ones that I'll like to see are Grass, Normal and Flying. 1) Grass 2) Normal 3) Flying 4) Electric 5) Champ - Mix of all with the standard pseudo legendary Dragon Pokemon |
1 Grass (with 3 pokemon withe high spc df, df. and attacks that bring your stats down)(1 Pokemon with insane speed that elavates his stats then use baton pass to bring out the finale pokemon with high water, electric, fire and grass attacks)
2 Dark pokemon (with high speed that can use fire attacks and moves to raise teams defence sharply.) 3 Dragon pokemon with fire attacks(2 with good defence stats,3 with crazy attack) 4 variouse type pokemon (with moves like mirror coat and counter) Champion. Variouse types( 1 Oppiste to your starter, 2 electric pokemon(one offence, one defence)1 Crazy awsome flying type. and 2 legendarys) |
OOOOHHH!I Have one!
1.Electric 2.Ghost 3.Rock 4.Steel 5.Champion Mixed:Random Legendary Pokemon:Zorua/Victini. |
I think there should be a mixed-type champion, with at least one type being dark. Dragon-type Pokémon are overused now.
|
I agree, Dragon type Pokemon are over-used.
Maybe one of the E4 members or trainers could have a couple Draogn Pokemon? I would love the E4 members to not specialise in one type, it'd make the battles interesting. |

Elite Four Setup:
E4 1: Electric E4 2: Grass E4 3: Water E4 4: Fire Champion: Flying |
Quote:
NORMAL-TYPE CHAMPION. DO WANT. But all his Pokemon would need to know Foresight... |
Quote:
|
@RulerArceus: Well only the part where he pointed out that Zorua wasn't a legendary was directed at you. The rest was him just stating his opinion.
|
Wouldn't mind if N was the champion, but going by his story, he doesn't seem to be into competitive battling.
|
@RulerArceus: Wargle is a bald eagle Pokemon that has been introduced as a Pokemon from Isshu. If you want to see a picture, there is one in the notices at the top of this page.
|
I want to see a hair style related leader/e4 guy.
|
Whataya mean by hair style related? :X
But so far I do like everyone's hair XD |
@PschoJigglyPuff
IDK.Dragon Types arent ALL Bad,And I don't know why,But Have an odd disliking against Dragon Haters.I thinks its because 4 Pokemon in my Best Team ever are Dragons(See Trainer Card Below. |
I'm thinking The Champion will have Zoroark and Ononokusu/the pseudo-legend.
The pseudo's usually dragon so, I'm going with mixed types. |
So Poison, Psychic, Rock, Steel, Fighting, Ghost are the types that available after the revealing of the gym leaders today. I think with the number of fighting types, I think an E4 member of that type is a given, possibly the last member. It's hard seeing a Poison type because of the lack this generation, but Steel and Psychic are a possibility. I'm still hoping N happens to be the champion although I think there's a small chance for that.
|
If I had to guess the type of the Champion, I would say mixed. An ideal type for me, would be Rock. Why? Because in most regions (with Johto being the lone exception), Rock is the first "boss type". The first gym leader in most regions specializes in rock. I think for once the Champion, the final [main] boss in the game wielding the Rock type would an interesting mix-up.
Barring that, I wouldn't mind if the Champion focused more on a strategy than a typing. Say he specialized in having a nice sweeping team, or having a team dedicated to walling or stalling opponents. It'd be just as nice as him having a specialized type. |

E4 and Champion ! (MAJOR SPOILERS)
Yus Serebii just updated with our E4 and Champ
http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml WOW... EDIT : More details :O I cannot wait! Wow this is going to have the best Post Elite 4 ever! You get to fight a legend team then you have to find 7 sages... and Oh! just read for your self :3 |
I was surprise to hear that Belle was the Champ but at least we got our Second female champ :)
|
I was more surprised about the Post E4 :O
I can't wait for this game now :3 I was actually quite surprised about Belle, what about Cheren :O |
Quote:
|
Ooh, I like. The champion, to me, was quite a surprise. I won't say it though for the sake of ruining the game for everyone else. The 7 Sages is pretty cool, too.
|
I wonder what purpose the sage would serve maybe they are there to restore the balance that was ruined by team Plasma...
|
7 Sages sound like a way better version of the Battle Frontier. Sounds awesome, I can't wait! And this sounds like to me by far the best Elite Four yet! Didn't expect Belle as the Champion. So I guess we'll see her change drastically throughout the story when you talk with her. And I wonder who the two rumored trainers at the end are...
|
What Im also bothered is that after the E4 a trainer has Zekrom and Zoroak
I wonder if he/she is unlocked after the sages :O |
Merged with the elite four discussion thread.
