Surprisingly Good Pokemon?

Any Pokemon you used that you found surprisingly good or useful?

I'm using a Meowth in my Pokemon FireRed PokeDex Playthrough and even when he's three levels below the competition he's taking them out.

I'm playing Ruby again, and I found that I really enjoy using Minun. He's great with thunder wave, encore, and thunderbolt right now.

I'munna move this to GPG, since this can apply to games that aren't in the adv gen. Anyway, there are plenty of Pokemon I've used that I thought lesser of before. I have to use Azumarill on a random challenge, and I wasn't too thrilled about it, but it's actually a powerhouse on my team, especially with Huge Power as an ability. Ironically, her name is Failure. lol

Definiitely Bibarel: Curse (double effect) + Porygon2's TrickRoom!

Hmmm.....Blissey. I've given it Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower and Softboiled. Most people assume Blissey to be useless in-game (like me) due to it's walling capabilities competitively on top of it's underpowered moves. However, it's not half bad, especially when it heals itself.

Another is Prinplup. Empoleon may have all those resistances, but in Sinnoh, against an Elite Four and Champion packing a plethora of Earthquakes and Fighting moves, being pure water-type is a blessing. Especially when I gave it so much Iron and Calcium, it takes a Thunderpunch from Infernape or a Dragon Rush from Garchomp and OHKOs back with Surf or Ice Beam.

Dusknoir. I'm not usually a fan of slow Pokemon, but Dusknoir's high defenses, high Attack, and access to the elemental punches helped me immensely in taking down Cynthia's Garchomp and Milotic in Platinum, as it was capable of withstanding their attacks long enough to deal a finishing blow.

I never once realized how valuable Gengar could be as a Special Sweeper. Gengar helped get through 21 battles at Battle Factory, then I caught myself my own Gastly. <3

I'm a off-the-wall kind of battler so I must say that it is Zangoose. Who would have thought that a normal pokemon could destroy a team if played correctly? It's one of my favorite pokemon to use in a team. Drapion is a close second. I thought it was stupid at first until it helped me win a wifi-battle.

My torterra i love due to him being good on defensive and offensive.

Meowth. I used him frequently in FireRed, and he also levels up quite fast.
