Memory Cards or Hard Drive
What do you like better, Memory Cards like on the GC and PS2 to save your games or do you like a Hard Drive like the X-Box where you don't have to buy Memory Cards?
Well I like Memory Cards better because you can take them anywhere and they r easy to take with you whereas the hard drive on the XBOX does save you money on buying memory cards, you would have to take the whole XBOX around to your friends house if you wanted to share some of your saved data. So it is definatley Memory card for me.

I like Memory Cards also for games that only has one save file on the game. That way with 2 or more Memory Cards I can have more files then just that one. |
Memory cards I suppose, as posted above it's just eaiser, I wouldn't want to be lugging around a Xbox everytime I went to a friends home. Sometimes they seema bit expensive, but I dun' really care about the price all that much, it's just eaiser for me.

Cartridges. I prefer them since you only have to carry the game and nothing else to have your save file. No memory cards or hard drive, just the simple cartridges.
I also like the save states in VBA so I guess I'll put hard drive since my computer uses one... |

Memory Cards.
They're easier to bring to a freinds house. And they have alot of memory space anyway!
As everyone is saying , memory cards. You can bring them anywhere. But you have to admit the hardrive is pretty cool. ;)
I say memory cards, for all the reasons already stated. The ones built right into the har drive are allright, but not good enough. XD
I say hard drive for my save states XD
I like hard drives becuase some games are too big to fit on memory cards like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and plus, there are more fewer load times on a hard drive. Memory cards are annoying since you need to keep buying them when you run out.
Unless they make the HD for consoles portable, I'll have to stick to the memory cards.
Memory Card for the reasons allready said. Easy to take anywhere, but it can be annoying when you have to keep buying tham...
Memory Cards come in many sizes now. They are projecting that they might bring out 1GB Memory Cards now. They're just easier to carry around... Plus, if a Hard Drive is erased, it's catastrophic. You lose EVERYTHING. If a Memory Card is erased, you probably still have two others with the datas from your other games lying around, so it's not as heavy of a blow. And they're just datas, not installations.
I like Memory Cards better, but I think systems should be made using both. Not with an extremely huge hard drive though.
I like memory cards. You can take data where you want and used it on your friends system.Sure it cost a little more to get it but at least you don`t need to take a whole console to play games with your friends.
I have a GCN so I use memory cards. But I would've loved it if the GCN had a hard drive. I don't go to any of my friend's houses too often, so me bringing games isn't an issue.
I prefer hard drives, its just alot easier if you have alot of games and alot of data from it. With memory cards sometimes you have to worry about buying another one if you don't have much space left for a new save file, but their easier to carry which makes them have an advantage.
I also prefer hard drives. I accidentally picked memory cards though, so my bad!

I don't own anything (aside from my computer) with a hard drive, though, so I voted memory cards. ^_^; They're really convenient to take around places, but I assume an X-Box doesn't hold that same feature, lol. Cartridges were cool too, though. =x I was so used to them when I switched over to memory cards that it confused me. My brother and I were amazed when we rented SSBM and then realized that our stuff was still there when we bought it later on. XD |
