I still don't understand EVs!

When do this extra points get added? My slugma is holding a macho brace and is battling whismur in rusturf tunnel yet i see no change! WHY?

The extra points gained from EV are added immediately, but you won't notice them until you level up. For example, since Whismur give you Hit Points EV, I was training my Skarmory there. While levelling, he was gaining 5-6 HP per level on levelling up, but after the HP was maxed out, he was only gaining 2 HP per level on level up. If you're not noticing any additional increase, then you've probably maxed out the EV points in that stat (255 EV is the maximum for one stat).

If you read the FAQ and the EV section, and still don't understand... try going to GameFaqs or something. Their guides seem a lot clearer than the one I wrote. ^_^

If you own a device to copy your savegame file to computer, you can view your current EVs and IVs of all your Pokémon using this tool (sorry for advertising - I need beta testers ^^).

Wow. I didn't know the EV stats were gained by leveling up. ^^
Yeah, it's pretty cool how it add's extra level up stats, though.
I remember resently when I was EV training my Swalot...XD lol
Well, now I know why his stats wern't auto changing though those battles. XD

Yup, but you should get 252, because the extra 3 won't make any difference to you. 252 will already get you the max of that stat you can get. Just thought I'd shed some light. ^^
