Thank you so much!

So the next GP weekend is Monza.

I hope Ferrari, especially Alonso can show something good on Ferrari's home race. Ferrari is under pressure now.
Of course I support Kubica, as well. He's very good on Monza, though.

Btw. FIA wants to discuss about some penalty for Ferrari, because of their Team Orders. I hope this wouldn't be bad.

Formula 1 is coming back to USA. Tilke has a project for this new track.

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/09/02-austin-1283361814.jpg

This track IMO looks very promising. I like the first turn.

Ivysaur September 5th, 2010 1:30 AM

Everything with the name "Tilke" on it gives me shudders. I just hope it's not the crazy failure known as Valencia Street Circuit.

It's really sad when they go to old time masterpieces such as Spa or Monza and then they move on a Tilke track and... *sigh*

Yeah Valencia was failure, that's right.
But Abu Dhabi was preety good, I think. The design was well planned. I don't like only that Pit-Stop leaving design... Under tunnel?

It's good, that F1 is still on that old time masterpieces anyway. I don't imagine the F1 season without Monza, Spa or Hungaroring.

Eruption September 7th, 2010 6:42 AM

Valencia is a terrible track, absolutely no overtaking and with no refuelling now it makes it too boring.

That race was the most boring, I think. Webbers accident was the only interesting thing.

The real failure in this year is Schumacher.
At his last interviews he started to realize, that he's too old.
Brawn's team isn't that good as it was year ago. The rest of teams got to work really hard too.
Rosberg is definitely better racer.

Sauber enlonged their contract with Kobayashi, and Lotus is getting closer to contract with Renault.

Eruption September 9th, 2010 12:52 PM

Brawn?

Schumacher has been shown he is past it this year and I think he'll look back on his comeback as a mistake.

I can't wait for the night race.

Ivysaur September 9th, 2010 12:58 PM

By the way, Ferrari got scot-free from the Team Orders fiasco (other than the 100,00$ fine). And the 13th team spot has been declared empty for next year as well. Not a really productive meeting FIA had yesterday XD

Eruption September 10th, 2010 1:56 PM

I'm glad about that, I thought Ferrari would get a much heftier punishment.

Aether★ September 10th, 2010 2:09 PM

I have bad feelings, that McLaren will be very dangerous on Monza. Waiting for qual.

I read today, that Kubica thinks - the banning of team orders is a farce.
FIA thought about that and they maybe would consider banning the ban of team orders, though.

Ivysaur September 11th, 2010 12:08 AM

Well, we all have heard McLaren telling Button to "save fuel" when he was about to overtake Hamilton. And Webber was "losing his tires" when Vettel attempted to overtake him and both ended up crashing e_e

What a strange concidence. Both situations were in the same race (Turkey GP)
I remember, that I was really happy when Red Bulls crashed.

I thought i commented on this.

I'm a Hamilton fan, can't stand Button though for some reason.

Missed a lot of the races of late so it's good to see Lewis is still doing well :)

I remember myself being a fan of Hamilton in 2007. I didn't like Alonso then.

After that affair with Alonso and McLaren in 2007 i started to hate him.

He is good racer, but he is too crazy on tracks and doesnt care for his tires.

Anyway. Alonso have really small chance to take the championship. Ferrari announced, that the season will be lost for them, if they wreck their race now. Monza is the last chance for them.

BTW. 20 GP IN NEXT SEASON, WHAT THE HELL!

Weeaboo Name September 11th, 2010 1:20 AM

I really can't stand Alonso and i am all for Hamiltons reckless approach. I hate how the sport is so reliant on tires and technical aspects like that.

Ivysaur September 11th, 2010 1:31 AM

20 GP = More money for FIA. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$! Is there any reason not to have that 20th race? I know the teams won't have as much time to make a new car for the following season (since the rules change like completely every season so the car needs to be fully remade), but good old Ecclestone needs his daily dose of fresh dollars, you know €__€

Well, right now, the McLarens are one-two in the free practice. I still expect a Red Bull to come out of nowhere and grab pole in a couple of hours though.
EDIT: As I'm posting this, Vettel got 2nd and Webber 3rd XD

I hope not.

20 GP is the record in history. I'm glad about this, because the F1 season should be a lil bit longer. This is by far one of the greatest FIA decisions, imo.

1 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 1:22.646 1:22.297 1:21.962

10 Rubens Barrichello Williams F1 1:23.695 1:23.142 1:23.328

Hooray for Fernando

Ivysaur September 11th, 2010 6:20 AM

Well done indeed. When I saw him going three tenths quicker than anybody else, i know it would be his.

And luckily Hamilton screwed up all his three chances, Massa and Webber can do a good job annoying him, and being so ahead Button may even try to run his race instead of "saving fuel".

Eruption September 11th, 2010 11:06 AM

Looks like I have found my archenemy.

Extra F1, no complaints.

Bernie needs to take his pick, F1 or Football, he's annoying me in both now.

Aether★ September 12th, 2010 4:03 AM

AAND IT BEGINS. PLEASE Ferrari, do your best!

Ivysaur September 12th, 2010 6:15 AM

Thank you Hamilton for ruling yourself out of the race. Fun one, and the only bad point was Button's great start that prevented an 1-2. But otherwise, great stuff.

1 Mark Webber RBR-Renault 187
2 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 182
3 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 166
4 Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes 165
5 Sebastian Vettel RBR-Renault 163

Looking really fun for the next races. Now we only need Button and Vettel to keep annoying Webber and Hamilton. Honestly, when RBR gave Vettel the team order to let Webber go ahead, I thought that it would be the end- but the soft tires miraculously lasted for the whole race and Hulkenberg slowing everybody down did the trick.

I still don't understand how he didn't get a penalty the third time he went off-track to defend his position, though.

I think the Judgement will discuss about it. It can't be unseen.

Fernando has big chance again. Hoping for great Ferrari races in future!

Eruption September 12th, 2010 10:07 AM

Fernando did it and Hamilton went in the first lap.

Dream race. :D

Ivysaur September 25th, 2010 8:27 AM

Singapur GP Qualifying

1 Fernando Alonso 8 Ferrari 00:01'45''390
2 Sebastian Vettel 5 Red Bull 00:01'45''457 | +00'00''067
3 Lewis Hamilton 2 McLaren 00:01'45''571 | +00'00''181
4 Jenson Button 1 McLaren 00:01'45''944 | +00'00''554
5 Mark Webber 6 Red Bull 00:01'45''977 | +00'00''587
6 Rubens Barrichello 9 Williams 00:01'46''236 | +00'00''846
7 Nico Rosberg 4 Mercedes GP 00:01'46''443 | +00'01''053
8 Robert Kubica 11 Renault 00:01'46''593 | +00'01''203
9 Michael Schumacher 3 Mercedes GP 00:01'46''702 | +00'01''312
10 Kamui Kobayashi 23 Sauber 00:01'47''884 | +00'02''494

Looking really well for Fernando. Vettel has the little problem of the dirty starting side being so incredibly dirty that he'll probably lose to Hamilton. We'll see, but if this ends like this, he'll be 8 points away from the lead.

Aether★ September 25th, 2010 11:09 AM

Allright! Bigger chances for Fernando to win and earn more important points. He has really chance for getting the trophy! Kubica... Average again, always on the end of first 10. Hope for great Fernando's start tomorrow.
