What have you done to poor Venusaur.

[email protected]
Nature:Adamant/Jolly
EVs:HP,Speed,Attack
Sludge Bomb
Leech Seed
Earthquake
Sleep Power/Swords Dance

Also I like this Ninjask.

[email protected]/or something else
Nature:Jolly (a must for Ninjask)
EVs: Attack, and Speed
Silver Wind
Substitute
Swords Dance
Baton Pass

I'd take out the Politoed for Ludicolo or Lapras.

[email protected]/Chesto Berry (only if using Rest)
Nature:+ Sp. attack, -attack
EVs:HP and Sp. attack or speed
Ice Beam
T-bolt
Surf
Confuse Ray/Rest

[email protected]
Trait:I like Rain Dish
Nature:+Sp. Attack, -Attack
EVs:Speed, and HP/Sp. attack
Ice Beam
Surf
Giga Drain
Rain Dance

There you go, hope this helps!
:D

lizardman November 24th, 2004 12:06 PM

thanx. ive been thinking that i might include a ludicolo or a feraligator.

Mullet November 24th, 2004 12:09 PM

Your welcome, glad to have helped you! I think a Blaziken would work nicely with your team too. :D

GVG November 24th, 2004 1:03 PM

I agree with the suggestion about the Blaziken, but make it mixed sweeper

Mullet November 24th, 2004 2:06 PM

He doesn't have to mix sweep but it might be a good idea.

[email protected]/Salac Berry
Nature:+ Attack,-Sp. attack/+Attack, -Defence (only use if using Overheat)
EVs:Attack, and Speed
Sky Uppercut
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Swords Dance/Overheat (I perfer Swords Dance, but if you need a mixed sweeper use Overheat)

This is the Blaziken I'd use if I make one.

Lion Heart November 24th, 2004 9:16 PM

For your Venusaur, I would change some things..

Replace Body Slam with Frenzy Plant
Replace Giga Drain with Synthesis (It gives you more HP than Giga Drain)
Replace Poison Powder with Toxic
Replace Swords Dance with Earthquake.

This setup will make him more useful in battle, as he has a Power move in Frenzy Plant, can heal himself with Synthesis, can inflict a world of pain in multi-player battles with Toxic (They cant heal it because of no items) and Earthquake is a nice attack in general.

Mana Lugia November 24th, 2004 9:53 PM

Frenzy plant is absolutely _useless_. There's never a situation where you'd ever want Frenzy plant on your Venusaur.

Muddy Water and Surf do the exact, well almost Muddy Water is better because it drops the oppnets accuracy, but Surf is convinence in the game so you chose and drop one of them for Ice Beam. I already gave you one of the best suggestions for Venusaur why not use it? :D

lizardman November 25th, 2004 8:05 AM

im going to start a new game on my sapphire for me to get the TM's cause i used up all them up in my LG.then im going to use a spearow to carry the Tms over to my LG.

Toothache November 25th, 2004 8:13 AM

That Dusclops just HAS to get fixed, it offends me...

[email protected]
EV: 252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def
Nature: + Sp Def, - Sp Att
Will-O-Wisp
Mean Look/Rest
Confuse Ray
Night Shade/Seismic Toss

Trap em for fun, or abuse the high defences with Rest. Either way, it's basic tankage for Dusclops.

mmmmmm.....i might add mean look to trap'em.but da shadow punch and ice beam has to stay i dont want him to be offenseive.

Toothache November 25th, 2004 8:52 AM

The only instance when you even consider Dusclops for an attacker is with Calm Mind:

[email protected]
EV: 252 HP, 129 Sp Att, 129 Sp Def
Nature: +Def/Sp Att, - Att
Will-O-Wisp
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
HP Special

About the best you can do for offensive Dusclops (unless you replace WoW with Rest)

lizardman November 25th, 2004 8:54 AM

thanx toothache for da help.

Demonion November 25th, 2004 9:01 AM

yah but shadow punch is unevadeable.it always hits.

Kholdstaire November 25th, 2004 9:36 AM

Your team is hard on the eyes ._.

3/10 originally.

[email protected]
Jolly
252 Speed, 80 Special Attack, 176 Attack
-Swords Dance
-Sludge Bomb
-Leech Seed
-Sleep Powder

THAT is the best set. No one ever expects a fast Venusaur. He's faster than the DDers because they expect to DD and be faster, but since Venu is faster before they can DD, you nub-powder them, they can't DD, you Swords Dance, they sleep more, you rape with Sludge Bomb. Kthnxbai

Mullet November 25th, 2004 9:55 AM

I've found that's it's not a good I dea to have a stat boosting move for only one attack that is why you use either Swords Dance or Sleep Powder.

lizardman November 25th, 2004 10:13 AM

hey ive ben thinking that i could borrow my cuzins PKMN colluseam and get a houndoom.and trade it to my LG.

so? shadow ball has 100% accuracy, sand veilers/double teamers aren't that common to use shadow punch over shadow ball

99.6% kthnx

And Shadowpal has Special Defense drop. Yay

BTW, Yugioh duder, I've dominated about 20+ teams with JUST that Venusaur. I think I know what I'm talking about. And even if he runs into problems, thats what the rest of the team is for.

Mullet November 25th, 2004 10:50 AM

If a Venusaur is fast enought and has Earthquake, it can beat Fire types.

Mana Lugia November 25th, 2004 10:58 AM

Well, fire types are generally fast, so you'd be wanting to hit and run really.
