Has anyone leveled up EVERY Pokemon to 100?

I am just curious if anyone has caught every pokemon (from any generation) and leveled all of them to 100. That would be pretty hardcore to say the least.

SIN1488 October 11th, 2010 9:37 PM

I think if someone actually did that with legit methods, that they could safely say they are the pokemon master. :O

I can't imagine all the hours of grinding...... >_<

But no, I've never heard of anyone doing that. Maybe in the first Gen when there were only 151, but not now.

Shining Meganium October 11th, 2010 9:54 PM

In leaf green I leveled every Kanto pokemon except mew to lvl 100 but i'd never dare to try it for all the generations.

mattfriends October 11th, 2010 11:40 PM

I did... (ONCE) XD
Actually it's kinda hard you know.

Masterge77 October 12th, 2010 7:16 AM

I've been playing Pokemon for years, and I have never gotten one Pokemon to level 100 in my entire life.

Kai Yamato October 12th, 2010 9:26 AM

Noooope.

I got bored easily when it comes to trying to do that.

Neelh October 12th, 2010 9:33 AM

Yes, of course! It's easy!

...Not.

ORegan October 12th, 2010 10:15 AM

I have a level 100 ditto...so I could have all the Pokemon at level 100. :P

Amore October 12th, 2010 10:18 AM

No....but on Emerald, a few years back, I did level every pokemon I could find to lv.100 (about 150+, obviously not the whole pokedex, even regional, as I couldn't trade)

Actually, that's what my personal definition of a Pokemon Master is based on. I consider a true Master to be a Trainer who catches every Pokemon available, evolves them to their final stages, and trains them all to Level 100. For Pokemon with branched evolutionary lines, all of the final members have to be caught and raised to Level 100 (i.e., with the Eeveelutions, as of their current availability, one would have to catch and raise 7 Eevees into Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, and Glaceon, and train each of them to Level 100 in order to count towards Master-status completion).

Anyway, I've attempted to achieve the daunting task. Unfortunately, I have lost 2 Sapphire cartridges, both with several Level 100 Pokemon on them. I do intend to achieve the goal one day; it's just going to take awhile... :\

Sydian October 12th, 2010 10:50 AM

With over 600 Pokemon now, I don't think I could ever think to try.

poopnoodle October 12th, 2010 10:50 AM

not without cheating ;-) but no, i can't even raise my starter alone to 100. i just dont have the patience. i enjoy exploring towns n stuff more than engaging in the strategic, competitive aspect of the games.

This.

Pretty sure the highest I have levelled any pokemon in any one generation is to level 65. I have never levelled a pokemon to 66 or higher.

There really seems to be no point when in most of the games, you only need to get either a team of 6 to 40 or so, or a team of 2 or 3 to 50-something to win.

Even one pokemon to 100 seems unnecessary unless you are going to be competing with it, let alone every pokemon.

Heh...I will...once I can get past Gen III, at least...

But really, whoever completes the challenge of catching every single Pokemon (excluding those darn events) and leveling each of them to Level 100 should get an official Nintendo/Game Freak award or something (all they get for each Pokemon capture is a few pixels of a "certificate" and you don't even get anything for Level 100 training other than flimsy bragging rights...!).

In Emerald, it usually takes me approximately 3 days just to get one Pokemon to Level 100 with constant Elite Four rebattling. I've always wanted to see if I could ever get a Lucky Egg to lessen the duration of monotony of such battles...

EDIT: The major con is that if another cross-generational incompatibility arises like GenII>GenIII, you would be royally screwed if you actually did level all your Pokemon to Level 100... :(

It would take a long while, by time you finish leveling up all the pokemon in one Gen, they would be out with another one. :S

Agreed. That is why backwards compatibility with Gens is much appreciated. :D At least if you start Level 100 training in Gen III, you can continue where you left off by transferring all your Pokemon via Pal Park to Gen IV and then via the PokeShifter to Gen V in Black and White Versions.

PlatinumDude October 12th, 2010 8:01 PM

I've been playing Pokemon for 7 years, but I never levelled all my Pokemon to level 100. The only Pokemon I managed to geet to 100 is Swampert in my first Sapphire game.

Itstoppedatumbreon October 13th, 2010 11:56 AM

ive got about 30 lvl 100s, and i will never ever train all pokemon up!!!!!!
most of mine i dont touch, why would i train to 100?
Nintendo should give like a signed 3DS to anyone who does it :)

Spikey-Eared Pichu October 13th, 2010 1:25 PM

Nope. But I plan on doing it once I get Black and White.

GaXeL October 13th, 2010 1:28 PM

ya i did in silver (the original, not the new bad one)
Feraligatr, Politoad, Kingdra, Blastoise, Gengar, and Dragonite
EDIT: OOOOHHHH... No i havent lol... my most was my team

aguinn99 October 13th, 2010 1:30 PM

Ive never even tried, it would be boring, and it would take at least five years!
I just like to play the games and beat them, I dont like to do everything in them.

This, but it better be made of freakin solid gold too! >_<

Fever October 13th, 2010 11:09 PM

It would be a truly amazing feat of patience to do this.
I will be completely amazed if anyone actually gets there.
It would be pretty incredible.
I did about 24, 4 different teams, in my original yellow game. That took a painfully long time.

Heck yeah! That would be an awesome prize for achieving the "all Pokemon species raised to Level 100" feat. :cer_nod:

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ October 14th, 2010 11:13 AM

No, because honestly there are some Pokemon I can't be bothered to train all the way to 100. I'm satisfied with just having a few of my main teams raised to level 100, as well as most of my play-through parties.

I shudder to think how long it would take to get every Pokemon up to 100. Whoever does so must have a LOT of free time.

Astinus October 14th, 2010 11:44 AM

No way. The few Pokemon that I have at level 100 took me forever to train, and that's not a high amount. To do every Pokemon would take forever.

I was going to in my Blue version after I caught every Pokemon, but that was before I discovered how much I enjoy grinding. I restarted the game before I had a chance to start.

IanDonyer October 14th, 2010 11:54 AM

I have.

I mean it.

Really.

STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT.

*bursts from nervousness*

Okay, I lied!

Hehe, really though, the highest I've ever gotten a Pokemon was my level 76 Torterra in Diamond. I just don't have the patience to grind.

o0PinkSquid0o October 14th, 2010 5:48 PM

I've never done it, and in all my years of playing pokemon I've only gotten my Vaporeon in pokemon yellow to 100, but OMG imagine doing them all... srsly can you imagine leveling up a Dunsparce to 100?? I'd die

And Unown would be the worst of all! *shudders at the mere thought and recoils at Hidden Power monotony* My thoughts on it were that if I ever were to train one, I would just stick in the Daycare after "EV Training" (ROFL :cer_laugh:) and hope it reaches Level 100...eventually. And oddly enough, I intended (and still do) to catch all 28 Unown variants and get them each to Level 100...yeah. That's "hardcore" Pokemon for ya. ;)

Oh Yeah, I completely forgot about Unknowns!!! they'd definitely be the worst of the lot!
OMG I really wish you good luck for your goal hahah I hope you survive the sheer mind numbing boredom that it will put you through!

AshPikastar October 14th, 2010 6:14 PM

I only gotten my Pokemon up to lv 70 but not to 100. That's probably going to be my goal though.

Thanks! Let's hope my sanity can be maintained from all those Unown! All in a day's work for an aspiring Pokemon Master, I guess... :rambo: But really, I hope to one day achieve the very daunting "all species @ Level 100" feat, so I have something worthwhile to show for all the hours I've logged on Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, and FireRed combined!). :D

I was kind of surprised that the number of Pokemon users here typically raise to Level 100 is a bit low...

RivalGator October 14th, 2010 7:06 PM

I have not trained every single Pokemon and never will, although I do have many, many level 100's because I have a weird obsession: If I have a team, then every member of it must be level 100.

bOxieLiciOus October 17th, 2010 5:49 PM

err. once or twice? as far as i can remember it's pretty tough, it kills all of my time.

Ho-Oh October 18th, 2010 12:59 AM

I only have what, 15 or so lvl 100s in total? So no, not all lvl 100s in one game, I'm way too lazy to even try that (and it would waste so much of my time!)

dragoniteuser October 18th, 2010 2:04 AM

I have leveled up only one Pokemon to lvl 100!
Don't see the point in lvl. up every pokemon to lvl.100...

Kikaito plush October 18th, 2010 2:53 AM

Tried to on pearl, got bored to easily so no not yet.

Musica October 18th, 2010 3:46 AM

On Yellow, I think I had 20-30's 100's. Thanks to my best friend who loved beating the hell out of E4. But all 493 (not counting the Gen V coz I haven't played it yet...), that's.. O.O

Xatumi October 18th, 2010 5:15 AM

To do every single Pokemon with say Lucky Egg's and Trading Bonus's would take about.

1248 hours. Counting one Pokemon for each species. :)

I have only ever gotten one Lv100 Pokemon. Which was my beloved Staraptor. =]

Giraffe October 18th, 2010 7:27 AM

Nope.
To be honest, I've /never/ levelled up one of my Pokemon to Lv.100.
I think the highest I've levelled up to is 90.
I lose interest and stop playing once I've beaten the Champion xD

Erufuun October 18th, 2010 1:11 PM

Haha, sadly never. ._.
Lets see, maybe when I first had Red (Before I learned the Missingno cheat) and also in Gold was when I at least got a few Pokemon to 100...
I found no need to. Especially lately since the Frontier~ You can bring the Pokemon in on any level!

RockHardSemi October 18th, 2010 1:47 PM

I'm not even sure I've raised one Pokemon to Lvl. 100. I had some high level Pokemon in Red but once I found out that rare candy cheat I didn't bother.

My highest Pokemon is about Lvl. 86/87 I think, which is Electivire. The Lvl. 100 Pokemon I do have are from trades (about 4 or 6).

Charizard★ October 18th, 2010 2:27 PM

I've done it in Emerald, but I haven't tried in D/P/Pt

MrsNorrington October 19th, 2010 6:18 AM

I wanted to do that after I completed my National Dex in SoulSilver. But after completing the dex I got really lazy and distracted

Cold Fusion October 19th, 2010 8:30 AM

I've never thought about doing such a task but it sounds quite boring to do after a while so I doubt that I will attempt to do such a task either, I can't even raise many Pokemon to level one hundred never mind a full PokeDex. But maybe in the future if I get bored in the summer holidays I will attempt it, I'm a person who changes my mind constantly, so yeah. For those who have done it, you are truly addicted to Pokemon. Aha.

RockHardSemi October 22nd, 2010 5:31 AM

I have finally raised a Pokemon to Lvl. 100!

Rampardos has just turned 100, the old git. Went fairly quickly, I doubt getting Electivire there will be as quick.

Alakazam17 October 22nd, 2010 5:56 AM

I did do this actually, but back in the second generation, when:

a) I had more time on my hands.
b) "Every Pokémon" meant significantly less than it does today. XD

I doubt I'll ever attempt such a feat again for many reasons, not least of which is the fact that WiFi battles automatically boost the level to 100 anyway.

alphabetsoup102062 October 22nd, 2010 6:32 AM

No, not yet. I do intend to, but for me it would be really difficult. Not just catching every single Pokemon which would take ages, but also the levelling up process. It would take years.

Massacre. October 22nd, 2010 7:35 AM

Only a few, to be exact 9, but def not all. It will likely never happen. xD

Midnight Moon~ October 22nd, 2010 8:39 AM

Only in emerald version where there were a lot less pokemon than there are now, and I had the battle tower rare candy glitch to help me. ^.^ My question - Has anyone ever EV'd every single pokemon o.o?

Heart's Soul October 22nd, 2010 8:44 AM

I have about 75 lv. 100s in FireRed. Really should get the rest up to lv. 100 and get Deoxys. That's the ONE Pokemon I'm missing.

Along with the Level-100 Training, I planned to EV all of them as well! :D Even UNOWN...

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:q60lDGsFeTadkM:http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/ss306/PokemonGijinka/201Unown.jpg&t=1

The time consumption will be daunting, though...which reminds me how I'm still mad about how items (especially Lucky Eggs) can't be migrated from Generation IV to BW... :cer_pissed: There had better be some wild Lucky Egg-holding Chansey in BW or the third version!

Midnight Moon~ October 22nd, 2010 8:54 AM

Oh wow. Good luck with that. Want an even harder and more time-consuming challenge? EV every single pokemon (INCLUDING shiny forms) and level them all up to level 100. Even the unevolved ones, not just the final forms. Hehe ^.^

Heart's Soul October 22nd, 2010 9:12 AM

Do it the extreme way. Level up each of the 649 Pokemon to 100 (male and female counterparts and all alternate formes, including unevolved and SHINIES), EV them to 510, and use each of them in the Isshu league.

That will take years.

Midnight Moon~ October 22nd, 2010 9:14 AM

Just getting all of the shiny forms/non shiny forms of arceus, then getting them all to level 100 would take years, let alone EV'ing them all xD..

TheAppleFreak October 22nd, 2010 11:51 AM

Nope. I've only a few legit Lv. 100's (not including events), and the sheer monotony of it would certainly drive me insane.

Lati-Fan95 October 22nd, 2010 12:36 PM

I'm not attempting that one but I have 5 boxes of Lv.100s already (and lots of unfinished training projects from my Gen3+D/Pl games) !^^ Back in Gen3, I really was over-motivated by my friends and my bro who were all my rivals in Pokemon battling!^^ Today, I still enjoy the training to 100 but I'm not doing as much as I used to so I guess it isn't possible for me...^^ But wow, the one who manages that will AT LEAST get an entry in the Guiness World records book (I doubt Nintendo/Game Freak would care that much...) !^^ It'd be an awesome thing to achive but it seems impossible without cheating...

:cer_eek: Oh, gosh... Those challenges are sheer monotony incarnate. :cer_laugh: What I plan to do is evolve and level each Pokemon's final form to Level 100, including multiple final stages, EV them all to 510, complete Contests and Pokeathlon competitions with them (and Musicals?), and use them in Pokemon battles. Regarding Formes, I'm only leveling each Forme if the Formes are permanent and cannot be changed freely (i.e., I'll train each type of Wormadam [Plant, Sandy, and Trash Cloak each] but only one Deoxys). :D

And if you really want to go extreme and throw all sanity out the window, complete the above challenges, and have copies of each ability and nature i.e., for Bulbasaur :t001:, you would have to have the following:

NON-SHINY MALE ADAMANT OVERGROW
SHINY MALE ADAMANT OVERGROW
NON-SHINY MALE ADAMANT CHLOROPHYLL
SHINY MALE ADAMANT CHLOROPHYLL

Now follow that model for each existing Pokemon nature. With 25 natures, that's 100 male Bulbasaurs. Now do the same for female Bulbasaurs. You now have 200 Bulbasaurs total. If you follow that pattern for each existing Pokemon species as of now (649), disregarding any alternate permanent or non-permanent Formes, that's 129,800 Pokemon, at the minimum. And that's under the condition that each Pokemon has 2 abilities maximum. Completing that challenge would take decades, if not a century. Nonetheless, that would be a hardcore Pokemon Trainer, with the ultimate Living PokeDex.

Even more mind-boggling is if you counted all variations of Spinda as Formes. That's 4,294,967,296 different Spinda, not counting Shinies. Following the model above, you'd have to have 2 coloration variants x 25 natures x 2 genders x 3 abilities x 4,294,967,296, equaling a mind-shattering total of 1 288 490 188 800 (at least 1 trillion), not counting the other Pokemon species.

But that scenario is just outrageous and unrealistic; the two quoted challenges above would suffice for the ultimate title of hardcore Pokemon fan. :D

Being in the Guinness World Record books by completing those challenges above would be a feat, indeed. :cer_nod:

I saw this and my first thought was "Holy..."

Quote:

1 288 490 188 800 (at least 1 trillion)
xD...and the chances of finding every single one of those spinda is probably a couple quadrillion to 1, and gets harder and harder for every unique spinda you find...the sheer amount of money you'd have to spend on games to hold all of those pokemon would bankrupt Bill Gates xP Unless you went high-tech and stored them on your computer or something.

Demigod October 29th, 2010 10:16 AM

I know I've EV'd over 350 pokes.
