Base Stats of a Human

I'm stealing this off GameFAQs.

Quote:

I've always been a little curious to see where a person would fall on the scale. We've obviously got a place; faster than Slugma, slower than Ninjask. Stronger than Happiny, weaker than Machamp.

So where do you think we'd be?
So post whatever you think the base stats of a human are. Special attack is probably 0 unless our race suddenly evolves and gain the ability to fire projectiles.

PlatinumDude October 25th, 2010 8:57 PM

Here's what I think:
HP: 70
Attack: 50-60 (for a kid); 90-100 (for an adult)
Defense: 70
Special Attack: 10
Special Defense: 50
Speed: depends (50 for untrained; 95-100 for people who train for speed)

WriteThemWrong October 25th, 2010 9:30 PM

depends on the person. just like pokemon there are different types of humans, atheletes, trained soldiers, etc

but on average i would say humans have the same base stats of machop

560cool. October 26th, 2010 8:45 AM

Oh-kay, let's see :

HP : 80-90 (200+ for overwheight people, 50 for very slim ones).
Attack : 50-60 (for a kid), 90-110 (adults), 170-200 (for boxers, wrestlers, etc.)
Defense : 50-60.
Sp. Attack : 5 (for normal persons), 40 (for psychos and stuff). We can't aim higher here. v_v
60 if you're throwing rocks. lol.
Sp. Def. : 10 (how can we even defend ourselves from stuff ?)
Speed : 70-80, 100-150 if you're trained.

As you can see, I tried varying it up. But it still depends on the person.

Kirbychu October 26th, 2010 5:59 PM

You guys do realize that Pokemon species with base 100 attack include Giratina, Tauros, and Moltres, right? Do you really think there are humans as strong as Giratina?

Timbjerr October 26th, 2010 6:12 PM

Results will vary from individual to individual, but I think the average human will be something like:

HP: 50
Atk: 50
Def: 50
Sp.Atk: 10
Sp.Def: 30
Spd: 50

Project. October 26th, 2010 6:27 PM

Humans are relatively weak creatures, simply relying on technology. Therefore we have some form of Special Attack. I think humans could be as a Weak "Arceus" because we can use technology to our benefit. Slap a computer plate onto them.

But just for regular human;
HP: 45
Attack: 40
Defense: 30
Sp. Attack: 5
Sp. Defense: 10
Speed: 35

Total: 110.
Sunkern's is 180.

Humans aren't really a good Pokemon. Here's a good Person moveset;

Human @Leftovers
Adamant Nature
- Wish
- Tackle
- Flatter
- Pay Day

Humans do not fare well in the NU metagame. Its lackluster stats can bring it down, as well as its insufficient movepool. The best you can do it Flatter the enemy, and hope with Pay Day. Its mediocre stats are equal to a level 30 Wailmer, but its always worth a try. Humans are an excellent lead in the Uber metagame, being able to confuse the enemy into thinking that they're stupid. Then they will spam walling moves until you ruin the fun with your Glameow, that must always be paired up with a Human for possible success.

Humans have an unique type that is weak to:
Spoiler:
- Fire
- Ice
- Ghost
- Psychic
- Dark
- Dragon
- Bug
- Poison
- Grass
- Flying
- Ground
- Rock
- Steel
- Electric
- Fighting
- Normal

The catch is that the human has a variety of exclusive items that help it fair well in battle. Human exclusive items include...
  • Gun: Human nets one and only one free KO upon switching in.
  • Computer: Human gains access to its current opponent's summary.
  • Car: Essentially another smoke ball.
  • Lucky Charm: Human has double accuracy. Human's critical hit ratio is boosted.
  • Pokeball: Contains Pokemon that Human can use to fight for it. Human can hold up to 6 of these. Most Human use this item.

Special Attack should be zero. We don't have any elemental moves! Well, maybe +1 if you turn your saliva into a projectile. The ones I think that could be closest to humans (Normal and Fighting-types) don't work either, as we can't spontaneously combust, naturally shoot beams of destruction, or send forth surging fists...

Well, I guess we can use Stockpile, Swallow and Spit up!
I think thats a special move.

Human-Exclusive Abilities

- Suicide: If the health of this Pokemon is less then 5%, they will automatically detonate a bomb and kill themselves and the enemy. (use with focus sash for best results.)
- Doctorate Degree: If this pokemon has more then 50% health, their Special Attack and Special Defense are increased by 80%.
- Manipulate: (female only); this pokemon automatically confuses, parylzes, and wraps the enemy upon contact.

OK, Spit Up would count (and Chatter and Hyper Voice), but still, a human's Special Attack would be small!

インフェルノの津波 October 26th, 2010 11:18 PM

Try this.

Human BS, best you can get as a trained soldier

HP: 50. We have kinda low bodily defenses
Attack: 70. Because if you're something like Bruce Lee you can beat a Sunkern into a pulp.
Defense: 40. Face it, we're weak. The best we can hope for is a nearby tree or boulder.
Sp. Attack: 5. We can throw rocks, amiright?
Sp. Def: 0. NADA
Speed: 25. Because we can outrun a Machop, but I'm sure a Pichu would easily conquer us in this area.

BST: 190. So we are stronger than Sunkern, but otherwise we're dead.

Teh Blazer October 27th, 2010 1:10 PM

I'm just sayin'

Chuck Norris:
HP: 999
ATK: 999
DEF: 999
Sp.ATK: 999
Sp.DEF: 999
SPD: 999

But for the average human:
HP: 45 (Life is fragile)
ATK: 35-60
DEF: 25-55
SP.ATK: 0
SP.DEF: -200
SPD: 50

imevil October 27th, 2010 1:15 PM

everyone will probablly be diferent, skinny people (like me). Will have a low defense but a strong speed.
But others who are bigger will have a strong defense and low speed

Demigod October 29th, 2010 9:46 AM

Difference between an untrained human and a master in martial arts is almost like an evolution stage.

Sydian October 29th, 2010 12:10 PM

If we are students at Hogwarts, we have high special attack. Physical, not so much. And I disagree with larger people having higher HP since that's a matter of energy rather than being based on size. For me personally, I think I'd be:

HP: 200 (I'm chuck full of energy!)
Attack: 150 (I have Crunch lolol)
Defense: 135 (I can take a hit despite being skinny)
Special Attack: 10 (SPIT! BLOOD!)
Special Defense: 10 (GUNS!)
Speed: 110 (Run Forrest run?)

I am super human beware ararahahahahghghfga

vaporeon7 November 8th, 2010 2:16 AM

HP: 70
Attack: 70
Defence: 55
Sp Attack: 10
Sp Defence: 10 (I mean we don't die if we get rained on)
Speed: 70

60 if you're throwing rocks. lol.
You do realize Rock Throw is a physical move, right?

Amore November 8th, 2010 11:12 AM

Lol, spoilsport.

I reckon human baby would be the only pokémon with more evolution stages than Eevee xD

It could evolve into fat child, muscley child, speedy child, psychic child, reincarnation child (one who remember his past life, gets a ghost typing), etc. Then they could evolve into any form of adult, depending on where they evolve.

For example, here's some (slightly offensive) human stereotypes pokémon I've made up:
Spoiler:

Usain-Thunderbolt
Ability: Lucozade - Feeding him any energy drinks increases speed 1 stage

Base stats:

Hp: 100
Attack: 70
Defense: 30
Special Attack: 20
Special Defense: 30
Speed: 160

Exclusive Moves:

Sprint - maximises speed stat whilst setting all defenses to 0, basically guaranteeing a KO xD

That move is based around the fact that when you run that fast, a trip could become extremely serious. Base stats are there because I basically consider him an inferior Deoxys-S.

Chavachu
Ability: Aggressive Prick - Raises attack stat two stages randomly.

Base stats:

Hp: 50
Attack: 50
Defense: 50
Special Attack: 100 (they shout loud, lol)
Special Defense: 100 (cocky gits ignore you)
Speed: 40 (bit dim-witted)

Exclusive Moves:

Knife - Slashes with a knife - Opponent loses a limb, halving speed and attack stats. Also lowers the user's defense and special defense 1 stage.
"YerAyyy!" - Loud chanting to raise special attack stat two stages.
Just 20 drinks.... - User's attack stat increases two stages. User also becomes confused and defenses drop 1 stage due to likelihood of falling over.

Yeah, use them moves then Facade, and a chav can do some serious damage.

I based this on the decline of the British people (yeah, we're screwed all the sane people are either playing pokémon or too scared to go out at night).

40-stone-man

Ability: Blubber - Like Thick Fat, just twice as strong
Morbid - User may randomly become unable to battle (basically a heart attack), but still needs to be damaged in order to faint.

Base Stats:
Hp: 100
Atk: 160
Defense: 140
Special Attack: 5 (You're mentally challenged if you didn't stop yourself before now)
Special Defense: 80 (Psychics are disgusted by the sight of him)
Speed: 0 (bed-ridden)

Exclusive moves:

Big Mac - Heals all status effects and restores hp, however hp stat is lowered by 20 (wears off outside of battle)
Roll Over - Explosion, but with power 300. Basically, you're crushed but he also has a heart attack.
Home Delivery - Opponent's Evasion is lowered.

Fe-complain

Ability: Shopping - Randomly sends items to your bag mid-battle.
Fickle - Changes attacks randomly.

Base Stats:

Hp: 50-100 (varies upon individual)
Attack: 120 (have you ever been slapped?)
Defense: 50 (claims to be vulnerable)
Special Attack: 140 (loud voice)
Special Defense: 40 (gets worried easily)
Speed: 60 (very indecisive)

Exclusive moves:
Ultra Voice - Power 200, Accuracy 80. User goes on a rampage for 2-3 turns, before sacrificing half hp.
Spring Clearances - Raises every stat one stage, with 50% chance of inducing confusion upon the user.
Whine - (Like Wrap, but power 50).
Anger Slap - Power 100, accuracy 50, induces confusion.

I based this on how some women I know act, not all of them. And of course, this human-pokémon hybrid would know Fake Tears, Charm etc. and also Mind Reader.

I thought I'd better stop there before I got too out of hand.

ChaosZakkimon November 8th, 2010 12:45 PM

Hmm, that's a tough one.
I say about:
Hp: 60
Attack:65
Def:45
SpAtk:2
Spdef:2
Speed:40

But then Human's have the special ability Adrenaline
Adrenaline: Upon taking any type of damage, this pokemon's Attack and Defence triple and Spdef equals 60.

We also have the special move LSD which boost Atk and Def and Spdef by 4 stages but toxic poisons this pokemon.

Alice November 8th, 2010 5:08 PM

HP: 1
Attack: 1
Defence: 1
Special: 1
Speed: 1

Seriously, compared to pokemon, humans are unbelievable fragile. lol

Amore November 9th, 2010 10:24 AM

Nice idea mate...but seriously? Get some insulated gloves, drop kick a Pikachu, and it's going to hurt every bit as much as drop-kicking a giant regular mouse xD

Just saying....I'm violent towards rodents xD

Alice November 9th, 2010 10:55 AM

^ Well, realistically, the gloves wouldn't protect you, since Pikachu can control the path of it's electricity.

Amore November 9th, 2010 11:54 AM

Ok....so, even better, wear insulated gloves, grab it by the tail, swing it around and let loose?!

I know it can control its' electricity, but everything bar the games (which are limited due to sprites not moving that much and attacks always coming from the same point on the screen) it's seen that Pikachu's electrical attacks come from his tail, so surely insulating yourself from that means you'll be fine? You then need to quickly make sure you've got skin touching the earth to let the inevitable Thunderbolt hitting you as it flies away dissipate into the ground....
