Cloud Nine and Air Lock
i heard that is a difference between Cloud Nine and AirLock
so for example: it is raining i have a golduck with Cloud Nine and a ludiclolo with rain dish and golduck uses water gun the golduck gets same STAB and the rain bonus the ludiclolo dose not get HP gain from the rain. but Air lock: its raining i have a Rayquaza with Air Lock and Ludiclolo with rain dish ludi uses water gun gets STAB but NO rain bonus and NO HP gain so basically cloud nine will not cancel weather bonus only second effects but air lock will cancel EVERYTHING someone tell me if im wrong or right im not to sure. ================= my and my roommates are still arguing over this hahaha! ================= which is more useful in battle, Golduck or Rayquaza? |
Cloud Nine
I'm not copying it all out...just read. Oh, and in that article it mentions: Weather Conditions Here's Air Lock |
ok, so they are both essentially the same.
so no add effect at all. now its a talk about with is more usefully in battle. a golduck or Ray golduck all the way!! which do you think would be more useful in battle? |
Well this has already been answered, so going to close - for future reference, questions should go to the Help thread sticky at the top of the section.
As for the golduck/rayquazza question, well that's not really related to HGSS, nor was the original question anyway. =/ I'd say ask in Pokemon general but... there's not similar Pokemon ( iirc rules there say comparison questions about pokemon need for there to be a good amount of similarites/relations between said Pokemon) - only their abilities share similarites but one is a water-type duck and the other a flying/dragon legendary Pokemon - and looking at stats there is not much competition between the two. |
