Yeah sorry about the picture guys! Here's a new one!

And, no, I'll wait! Besides, you said thet the contest started this monday, and you didn't set the dealine! :)

@Gear
Magnets are made out of 97%+ pure iron!

@topic
I'd switch Wormadam! How on Earth is that Steel?! Also Jirachi, Mawile and Lucario. Those Pokemon just don't look like steel type to me!
I'd add Steel type to Voltorb and Electrode.

Yes, i think that too, any particular reason you'd like to see them with more sp.def Reshi?

Because they could survive from special, fire attacks like Flamethrower better!

shinysweety November 16th, 2010 3:01 PM

cool picture draggy its a great sketch!
and yeah how is wormadam!!a steel type i mean wormadam and burmy (steel) look like grass or bug pokemon.

Xilfer November 17th, 2010 8:29 AM

great picture draggy, deadline is sunday, also, i'd love to see that steel removed from wormadam and placed on electrode and voltorb! they deserve it...unless pokeballs are made from plastic, wich they are NOT!

Christopher November 18th, 2010 10:18 AM

yes but I said " some metals" referring to the fact that Iron does not have to be present in most alloys to produce magnetism list of alloys I was talking about.
-Iron
-Strontium-Iron (Ferrites, also known as Ceramics)
-Aluminum-Nickel-Cobalt (Alnicos)
-Samarium-Cobalt.
-Neodymium-Iron-Boron (Neo magnets)

Notice that two of those groups lacks iron...

also whats with all the hate for Mawile I like it and its steel typing.

Xilfer November 18th, 2010 10:51 AM

I like mawile too, always have always will, i almost always catch one when i can in R/S/E i just disagree with it being a steel type, although it's steel typing could reffer to the steel jaws it has.

shinysweety November 18th, 2010 11:23 AM

I think that steel/rock would cover nicely because steel is affected by rock so if its part rock it would not be super effective anymore!

dragoniteuser November 18th, 2010 11:27 AM

... and Fighting and Ground type attacks do 4X damage. IMO that's the worst possible combination!

Christopher November 18th, 2010 11:41 AM

also Rock is not very effective on steel it is a bad combo but I still love Aggron.

Xilfer November 19th, 2010 5:38 AM

Yeah, Shiny, what are you thinking? LOL.
Voltorb and Electrode should be part steel just like magnemite and magneton for obvious reasons.
anyway, here's up:
Mawile's steelness must be taken out and transfered to Voltorb and Electrode.
there should not be a steel/rock type combo.
draggy, fancy making a new topic.

dragoniteuser November 19th, 2010 11:09 AM

Of course, boss! XD
Do you think that steel type Attacks should be super-effective against some other type Pokémon, instead of just Rock and Ice? If so, which type?

Christopher November 19th, 2010 11:12 AM

perhaps Psychic as they typically have low defense and what is more physical then a peice of metal cracking you in the nugget?

Xilfer November 19th, 2010 1:22 PM

hmmmm, i think they should have strenghth against grass, dunno why, thats all i could think of, maybe fighting too.

dragoniteuser November 19th, 2010 1:35 PM

Yeah Grass definitely! It makes perfect sense! Don't see the fighting though...

shinysweety November 19th, 2010 1:58 PM

I totaly agree with grass i mean steel VS grass steel would obviosly win, like a chunk of metal put on grass would flaten it compleatly like a squashed bug!

Xilfer November 20th, 2010 7:50 AM

Exactly my point guys.
ok, new topic: What were your first thoughts on these three pokemon: Metagross, Mawile and (Name of Pokemon here)
You can answer the first two, but the third is one that you choose.
i think this might last longer.

P.S. i know it's offtopic but, Shinysweety, you might wanna change that sig before the 22nd, it's too big and your not allowed spoiler tags anymore. try making it as small as mine or Draggy's, with no spoilers.

Christopher November 20th, 2010 8:11 AM

Hmm First impressions eh?

Metagross- awesome design pain in the ass to beat ( i first encountered it when battling Steven in Ruby)
Mawile-what in (insert your deity here) name is this? after I caught it I was delighted to find out it was Steel typed but disappointed to find out it stats were awful. This was during my first playthrough of ruby.

My Choice will be Aron-I caught this in my first playthrough of ruby right after I realized how bad Mawile was. He helped me defeat nearly all the gym leaders especially those who resisted Blaziken.

Xilfer November 20th, 2010 8:38 AM

Cool gear, i remember catching an aron on my first playthrough of sapphire.

Metagross: I'm gonna be honest here, i was only concentrated on beating it with mah Blaziken, and after i got beldum i put it in the PC, i was young...as in 10, i didn't care about power, just appearance, i didnt mean too, LOL.
Mawile: Loved it's design kept it for awile and realesed it.
Shubarugo: AWSUM!! obviously a steel type in both typing and appearance, he looks awsome and he plays awsome too! i saw someone using him at his full extent, and he beat one of the elite four's teams singlehandely, that must mean that he's powerfull!!!! AWSUM!!!

dragoniteuser November 20th, 2010 1:27 PM

Well, I've seen Metagross on Sapphire first. Steven as the Champion had it, and it was sooo epic, that I immediately quit that Elite four run, and grinded like crazy! Even after that it was so taught to beat!
Metagross just leaves that O.O expression on you! :D

I've seen Mawile in that same Sapphire as a wild Pokémon in the Granite cave, but it didn't seem like anything much... But I was surprised at it's typing once I caught it!
I've never actually used one... :/

Aggron was also Steven's Pokémon, and when I saw it, I was like: "How on Earth am I supposed to beat this thing?!?!", then I noticed that Fighting and Ground type Moves make it as fragile as glass! But it's cool Pokémon, nevertheless!

Xilfer November 20th, 2010 2:11 PM

Cool, i like Aggron too, i remember catching an Aron, and training it, but it never evolved....however 2 years later....like...yesterday, i managed to evolve it into lairon.

dragoniteuser November 21st, 2010 9:34 AM

New topic:
Do you think that Magnemite, Magneton and Magnezone should have Levitate as their ability?

Christopher November 21st, 2010 11:01 AM

Yes they should they're electromagnets they are actually levitating.

Dooonerz November 22nd, 2010 10:52 AM

Definately, it shows in game and in the anime that they are clearly levitating, so I don't see why the game doesn't add Levitate to the three!

shinysweety November 22nd, 2010 11:22 AM

Yeah, its dumb magnemite magneton and magnezone leveltate they dont just sit there know do they!

Xilfer November 23rd, 2010 8:45 AM

Sorry for my absence, lots to do, like lying around like going shopping.
ok, as for the new topic, i agree with everyone, they should have Levitate as they're ability, HOWEVER, i still have doubts considering that Pokemon like Altaria don't have Levitate as they're ability although they have more right to.
