I'd like to see an Ant pokemon...and a gundam based Pokemon :P

Kenshin5 November 6th, 2010 10:11 PM

Aianto, is based off an Ant. I can't recall any other ants at the moment though. A Gundam based pokemon would be epic!

Aquacorde November 6th, 2010 11:08 PM

Well, that ^ aside...

I do think a dolphin would be wonderful. And a better-looking penguin is desirable. Um... I had others in mind, but I have forgotten. XD

WHAT DO YOU MEAN SAMURAI DIALGA NARWHAL WITH A BEARD ISN'T A NARWHAL?

This is what Daikenki is supposed to be.....

.....and this is a Narwhal, get it right people!!!!!

Kelp November 7th, 2010 8:05 AM

Wait, is Dewgong not a Dolphin? o_O I've been deceived. xD

Ayselipera November 7th, 2010 9:49 AM

Well my last animal to Pokemon wish was granted with Swanna, although that wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Beggars can't be choosers I guess.

I'd still like to see a moose. Which I would picture as being a normal/water maybe even grass/water type. I know this isn't an animal, but it's still a living thing so I would like to see some type of poison ivy/oak/sumac plant Pokemon.

Dewgong is a cross between a Dugong and a Manatee.

dragoniteuser November 7th, 2010 11:52 AM

A kangaroo or a valabi would be nice...
It would probably be a Fighting type Pokemon...

Amore November 7th, 2010 11:54 AM

Lol. Yeah, you can almost guarantee it'll have boxing gloves xD

I want to see a donkey...complete with extremely loud "hee-haw!!!!" cry :P That would be awesome...

piicreator November 7th, 2010 12:06 PM

ide say cranidos is somewhat of a t-rex

Timbjerr November 7th, 2010 12:40 PM

I second a platypus. The closest we've gotten is Psyduck and Golduck, but their tails are all wrong. XD

Fun biology fact: the males of this hypothetical platypus pokemon could be water/poison type while the females could be pure water-type. :]

You'd be wrong

How about a centipede or millipede? Have they made one of those yet?

I believe the Fushide line is based on a Centipede.

Andrew McKenzie November 7th, 2010 4:12 PM

There ARE many animals that are not made into Pokemon yet, to be quite honest.
Excluding the Legendary dogs, I have yet to see a Tiger or Lion Pokemon.
The animal kingdom is quite extensive and very hard to list off.

People believe that Nintendo have run out of animals to lose but come on.
There are many that have been untouched.
Many types of birds, mammals and bugs that can still be utilised.
They just need to use their creativity to form such Pokemon.

And with the way Black and White is selling (even before it was released in Japan), I'm not worried about whether there will be a Gen 6, I'm just thinking about WHEN.

Clark November 7th, 2010 6:12 PM

I would love to see them make a Pokemon out of this thing.

Aside from that I could list a ton off but I'm sure most of 'em have been mentioned already. God, this thread is already getting me excited about Gen 6. @[email protected]

MEGAS November 8th, 2010 5:09 AM

I'd love to see Termites, Lion Fish, Stone Fish and maybe even Virus.

We don't have a Gundam yet, but we have a Power Ranger.....

Nohr November 8th, 2010 6:23 AM

There are quite a few animals, and fairly obvious ones, that haven't been used yet.

Hawk
Eagle
Dolphin
Wolf (can't believe there's no wolves yet. Mightyena and Poochyena are Hyenas, not wolves. and hyenas are actually closer to cats then dogs, with their closest living relatives being meercats and mongooses )
A gorilla (Infernape is really more baboon/monkey like, I'd like to see an actual BIG gorilla.)
Tiger
Lion
Peacock (someone said Ho-oh? No, Ho-oh is a phoenix)
Lobster (corphish is a crawfish)
Fighting fish
T-rex
Stegosaurus
Earth-Worm (really though, can't believe there's no worm pokemon)
Burning-bush pokemon (fire/grass type)
Electric eel
And of course squid/giant squid

And for legendarys, I'd like to see a Pegasus, Gryphon, Chimaera, and Sphinx.

I noticed a lot of people saying Kangaroo...but, there's already a kangaroo?

Shelldershucker November 9th, 2010 5:24 PM

They do not have pokemon that are based off of Oxen or birds of prey (unless you consider Pidgeot one), or Praerie dogs.
Also, they should make a pokemon that would be characteristic of steam...a Water/Fire type.

Or a Uranium pokemon (Rock/Poison Type) that would evolve into a Plutonium pokemon (Steel/Poison type)

Or a Ground or rock/Poison type pokemon made out of lead.

Terrakion is loosely based on an ox; Staraptor and Wargle are based on birds of prey (the hawk and eagle, respectively).

I'd probably want to see a Pokemon based on a centaur or a tarsier for some reason.

Hawk - I believe part of Staraptor design is based off a Hawk
Eagle - Wargle and Pidgeot
Electric Eel - Shibibiru and Shibirudon

A Sphinx legend would have been nice this go around since this generation had an expansive desert.

A lot of vivid ideas you got there,

Electric Eel is taken btw.

Isn't Slaking sort of like a gorilla? It's kind of like a cross between a sloth and a gorilla to me.

Nohr November 9th, 2010 6:46 PM

Ah, see , I haven't played gen 5 yet.

As for Slaking being a gorilla, he's pretty close, but like you said he's an evolved Sloth. Sloths actually used to be gargantuan in pre-historic times, and I believe that's what he is supposed to be. I want a type of Gorilla-pokemon that resembles a silverback, that walks on all fours, but can stand. Something big, and hulking. It could even be grass type, or grass fighting.

ManhattanTheStarr November 9th, 2010 6:54 PM

Even though we technically already have a panda Pokemon (Spinda), I want another panda Pokemon that actually LOOKS like one. Hopefully, it could be a Grass type starter panda Pokemon that becomes Grass/Fighting. :3

Although, there's evidence to support that Hihidaruma's supposed to a baboon, but it still looks gorilla-esque if you ask me. XD
