Favorite HearGold/SoulSilver Sound effect(not soundtrack).

HeartGold and SoulSilver are filled with different kinds of Sound effects. There's the ambient sounds like the water or walking on grass, the Pokeball flying through the air in a battle, all the attack moves, & many more. Which Sound effect is your favorite?

My favorite is the high-pitches noise and then the pop(I guess that's what you'd call it)towards the end of the sequences when Celebi teleports you through time.

I like the sound effect that plays when you feed your Pokemon Aprijuice.

Shiny Gardevoir November 18th, 2010 7:47 PM

I didn't really notice those sound effects XD
But I do like the part when a pokeball opens up...

Yeah, stuff like the ambient sounds (e.g. water!) was shown off on Pokemon Sunday shortly before the games were released, and everyone was most impressed. XD

Speaking of which, that's one of my favourite sounds - it was a nice effect, I thought, and it sounds right as well.

Uhh.............
I have to say when you get a streak on Battle Frontier. I dunno @[email protected] It's getting to me since I need BP's. >.>

I love Squirtles noise when it comes out of the pokeball. Here is his noise in pokemon stadium, it was even better:>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxxKVUB1ro4 <<<

I figured someone would mention the ambiance, lol. It really is a nice effect, it adds a sense of realism to the games. I find the running water relaxing too xD

I myself never did anything with the Battle Frontier, lol. So I don't know what sound you mean, I guess you're talking about some kind of Fanfare though?

I meant when you beat like 7 Trainers in a row in Battle Tower. They have like a "congratulatory" sound.

Don't know if this counts as a sound effect or an actual song (it's in that gray area) but I like the sound that plays when you encounter a roaming legendary in the wild.

Probably a Fanfare, lol. I'm curious to see exactly how it sounds, to the Battle Frontier!

If you mean the sound before the battle then I'd say it counts, lol. I'd have to agree with you too. I remember the first time I encountered Raikou, I heard that music and was like "amazing"! It gives you the feeling of "yes, a legendary!..Oh crap, a legendary".

Do head-phones really make that big of a difference? I mean I figured the ambient noises would sound better, but that's about it.

The Corrupt Plague November 21st, 2010 3:02 AM

Headphones make a much bigger difference, at least to me it does. You would be surprised by how much better the music sounds. They really make the DS speakers look bad in comparison. To get back on topic: My favorite sound is the fanfare that plays whenever you obtain an item. "Da-da-da-da-da-da-da!"

Pingouin_7 November 21st, 2010 9:45 AM

Yeah, but that "sound" when you encounter Raikou or Entei is not a sound effect, it's part of the Raikou/Entei battle music track.

I love Giratina, Drifblim, Rhydon and Lugia's cries and I also love the classic running low on health sound even though at times it can be very annoying
