Thief?

Have you ever stolen anything? And not solely things, but living beings as well. Have you?

I'll answer later, because I need to do a self-evaluation.

Shanghai Alice November 22nd, 2010 4:29 PM

Living beings?

Why yes, I regularly jam poodles into my trenchcoat.

Seriously?

Nothing of value. Or do small things (Ex. A three-day old slice of pizza) count?

nm legend November 22nd, 2010 6:18 PM

i once stole SOCOM 2...i think....or 3.....from best buy...they didnt have the protective case on it ...it was just on a shelf with a whole bunch of other old PS2 games.....besides that i stole money from people who owed me a couple times.....and me, i ve been robbed plenty of times myself....

Purple Materia November 22nd, 2010 6:32 PM

Not that I remember. Little petty things like from the fridge don't count.

PlatinumDude November 22nd, 2010 7:02 PM

I don't remember ever stealing anything, to be honest.

Alice November 22nd, 2010 8:18 PM

I stole a Gyarados card from my friend, because I "lost" my promo mewtwo card at his house.

Fair trade imo. lol

Agent Clank November 23rd, 2010 12:08 PM

I haven't stole anything in my life, because I was raised that way, not to.

Perriechu November 23rd, 2010 12:19 PM

I stole a freddo ;o When I was like 4 :D

Child Rebellion.

Stratos99 November 23rd, 2010 12:42 PM

When gsc came out I couldn't get past the area that leads to the 1st gym, and I noticed my friend had the walkthrough so I took it from his bag when we came in from recess. :x

I returned it a few days later without his knowledge.

Kikaito plush November 23rd, 2010 2:28 PM

I was about 6 years old and stole a penny from my mummy's purse.

ANARCHit3cht November 24th, 2010 6:03 AM

I have stolen things, actually. I don't really feel good about it, but I do it. Sometimes.. it is truly accidental.

But, also on the other side, I've plenty of opportunity to score big easily, yet passed up the chance.

Binary November 24th, 2010 6:22 AM

Yes. If you can count the Pokemon Gold cartridge I stole from a 7 year old. But, that was like 4 years ago, when my mind couldn't really comprehend the illness of stealing. But, we did make a trade. So, it really wasn't an act of stealing.
See. I'm a good girl. n_n.

KanadeTenshi November 24th, 2010 7:03 AM

I stole money from my mother when I was addicted to heroin.. otherwise I remember stealing from the candy shop being like 10?
Yeah.. I'm a huge sinner. Not that I care.

Melody November 24th, 2010 7:19 AM

I've never really stolen anything in the criminal offense sense of the word. I don't plan to do so either...I'm far too honest a person by nature.

mervyn797 November 24th, 2010 7:39 AM

I stole someone's heart. Does that count in? xD

Ayselipera November 24th, 2010 8:05 AM

Umm... I steal cookies from the lunch room at school all the time. At 75 cents I think they are a bit overpriced. Which if you're already buying a lunch for $2.50 a cookie then runs you up $3.25. I just can't get myself to spend my own money okay. ;o;

Shanghai Alice November 24th, 2010 9:25 AM

Everyone who says "I've never stolen anything..."

I've gotta know...

Do you mean that, every time you've wanted something, no matter how small, you've asked for it first?

Because, though I'd never /steal/ anything, I have eaten leftover pizza without asking, and that is, technically, "stealing."

I was going to say I'd never stolen anything, but I remembered that I'd stolen brownies from the dining hall at college. My rationalization was that it was the kind of place where once you paid to get it you could eat all you wanted and so the only difference was that I was eating all I wanted somewhere else and that the placed closed too early anyway and I would end up hungry later and not have anywhere to get food. And they weren't even very good brownies.

At $4.75/lunch, a $0.25 increase from last year, I'd say I'd have much more reason to rob my school than you do.

Still, stealing food from anywhere but home is...

Well, to me, a glutton, inexcusable.

RSMangaFan November 25th, 2010 5:52 AM

I technically stole a pencil from the floor under someone's desk at school...? Sorry.

Detox November 25th, 2010 6:44 AM

I stole free music from the internet.

dragoniteuser November 25th, 2010 10:08 AM

I've stolen smaller things like pencils, erasers, etc. in school.
Nothing to big, but a little steal from time to time might be good for you! ;)

I've stolen thousands of dollars worth of anime, manga, games, and music. I'm a monster.

Daydream November 25th, 2010 10:53 AM

I steal stuff from school all the time. Pencils, pens, scissors, glue, books, etc. It's so easy to take. o___o Oh, and I download a lot of stuff illegally too (I originally had this in past tense, but I still do it o_o).

I guess I just never thought of it as that bad. With stealing from school I never felt really that guilty, it's not like I steal particularly expensive stuff. And illegal downloads well... I think that takes away the actual physical act of stealing and I dunno... It doesn't feel as bad.

Cherrim November 25th, 2010 11:18 PM

Aside from, ah, acquiring things via the internet, I have stolen once. :( I was about 3 or 4 and I'd lost my Pocahontas lip balm so when my mom and I were in Shoppers Drug Mart, I grabbed another one and shoved it in my pocket because I didn't think my mom would buy me another one. Looking back on it, she probably would have.

I owned up to it about 2 years later when we'd moved away, haha.

Soari November 26th, 2010 9:57 AM

Yes, I remember when I once stole some candies from a supermarket. What I actually did was that I hide the candies over the top of my pants, since there was no back/front pocket at all. And also, I try to steal a Barbie doll's brush from a cousin, but that was a long time ago when I was such a doosh. -__-

Sydian November 26th, 2010 11:06 AM

I stole a Xatu card from my friend one time. I felt pretty bad about it. And I stole some tie from my sister. I didn't feel bad about that though. :D

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ November 27th, 2010 11:25 PM

I've "stolen" tons of anime, music, and some manga. And other, comparatively minor stuff like loose change, pens, and the like. Oh, and some of my grandma's old road maps, but she had already passed so does that even count?

Bologna November 27th, 2010 11:34 PM

Okay... so I was like... four or five at the time and my mom took me to JC Penny's and we were in the luggage area... and I took a lock and key off of one of the suitcases and took it home with me (the lock and key, not the suitcase). D: OhmygoshI'msoguiltyI'mabadpersonIjustknowit.

mikey November 28th, 2010 5:04 PM

I never stole anything, at least thats what I remember :)

Brendino November 29th, 2010 3:58 AM

The only time I've ever stolen something was when I was about 2 years old, and I took a Hot Wheels car from the drugstore my mom was shopping at. It wasn't until she was walking me home in my stroller that she noticed I had taken it from the store and was playing with it, so she had to go back and pay for it. So I guess I've technically stolen something, but only for about 10 minutes.

Also, about 5 years ago, I had taken multiple free samples of Sprite Remix from a booth at a carnival that was giving out a limit of 1 can per person, but me and my cousin ended up getting three each throughout the day because we showed up again in disguises (although I guess this would be more like deception than stealing :P).

Corvus of the Black Night November 29th, 2010 5:36 PM

It's called "the instant noodle packets in our pantry".

But I never stole from a store before. I just don't buy it if it's too expensive... because it'll just get more expensive next time I want something from that store if I shoplift. lol
