Teethbrushifying.
Yeah... I don't think that's actually a word...
Anyway, do you guys like, or hate brushing your teeth? Or is it just not a big deal? How often do you brush them? I hate doing it so much, that I've really let my teeth go. I just can't bring myself to do it more than once a day at most, even though I know I could lose my teeth pretty soon. (And this is coming from a germaphobe who can (and has) break addictions cold turkey. What's so hard about cleaning my teeth?) |
I brush my teeth the recommended amount of times per day.
That being said, I hate taking time to do it. My parents often won't leave the house until I've brushed my teeth. It's annoying. |
I'm eh about it. I do it every night and every now and most mornings, but it's not such a big deal, I just do it.
|
I brush my teeth once a day...I know I should more, but I forget at night!!! I kinda don't like doing it. It's just 'blah'.
|
I brush my teeth twice a day. I don't mind doing it, though.
|
I brush about once a day before school, because that's just a habit. If I'm not going anywhere I hardly bother at all...unless my mouth feels particularly gross. What's funny is that I've been to the dentist regularly and they have found no problems with my teeth other than their crookedness (which is almost fixed by invisalign now). xDD
|
I don't like or dislike it, I just do it. It's sort of time consuming; when I'm tired, I just want to go to bed, I don't want to have to brush my teeth first, but I do. When I was younger I didn't take the best care of my teeth, but things are different when you're permanent teeth come in :P. Needless to say, I make sure to brush my teeth now. And use mouthwash-- that's enjoyable.
|
I brush my teeth the recommended amount of times a day, which for me is 2. Sometimes I feel lazy about it, because I just want to jump into bed. I don't mind doing it in mornings though, it helps me snap out of my drowsiness somewhat. P;
|
I do it 2 times a day; never had a cavity in my life. c:
|
...I'm on the extreme end of hating it. ><
I know it's bad...but every time I've ever brushed, I could NEVER find a brush that was soft enough for me. Not to mention I really despise strong flavors, and I've never found a paste or mouth cleansing product which resists that addition. The unflavored varieties I've heard about are rare and expensive, not to mention I've heard they taste like crap. I've got a very sensitive sense of taste and I do not like it when oral hygiene products stick around and leave any sort of residual taste in my mouth. As such...I rarely brush when I ought ta. :< I regret feeling that way, but it really can't be helped at all. I may need to speak to a dentist and find something I can brush at least semi-regularly with...I don't particularly like getting toothaches and such. Tips would be helpful, but PM/VM to me, as they would fall outside the context of OVP's function...and we don't wanna upset our awesome resident mod. :p |
I've been slacking on the brushing these days, only brushing half a minute instead of the ridiculous two minutes. I still think half a minute is sufficient (prove me wrong dentists).
But I do usually brush two times a day; the less visits to the dentists for cavity fillings the better. =) |
I brush + floss my teeth twice a day, EVERYDAY, and make sure I do it quite well. I'm really OCD about personal hygiene in general.. -goes to brush teeth-
|
I hate brushing my teeth, I find it annoying.
I brush at least once a day. I try to twice but sometimes I forget or I am too busy to care. |
I love the feeling of clean teeth, but I hate actually brushing them out of pure laziness. :P I don't really follow a fixed schedule either, I just brush every time I eat a big meal. Sometimes I do brush when I wake up just because I hate that morning mouth feeling, but it's not set in stone. So I guess that makes for about 2 - 3 times a day.
|
I try to brush twice a day, but I forget a lot which has made me dread it.
|
I love brushing my teeth~ I couldn't stand it if I didn't brush my teeth twice a day.
My mouth feels absolutely disgusting if I don't brush twice a day. I mean, it would be just gross. D; Well, for me. I think that I just like the minty breath afterwards, though. My younger brother, on the other hand, hates brushing his teeth. We need to force him to! Well, not force, but nag for a couple of DAYS! DDDDD; That is disgusting. His breath smells. That poor kid. =/ |
It's quite troublesome.. but I do want to make my teeth white and shiny though. D:
|
Every time after eating something
... toothpaste is delicious |
Why would you hate brushing your teeth? O_o
If you want your teeth to rot, go for it. I don't love or hate it; it is a simple act of retaining being healthy. That is all it is for me and I brush twice a day. |

Finding flavourless or alternately-flavoured paste isn't very easy (and I simply forget), with all these connotations of mint = freshness that the marketers of the stuff keep up. |
I usually brush my teeth once a day, I forget to do them two times a day lol, and I HATE brushing my teeth, I know its not that hard to do but its just a pain.
|
I brush my teeth about three times a day on most days, there are those off days I'm too busy to get around to it more than once or twice, but they're not too common. I do like brushing my teeth, helps general hygiene and I've got some pretty spiffy smelling toothpaste that isn't bad.
|
I brush my teeth either once or twice a day .__. I should floss more often though..
|
I don't brush my teeth anywhere near as much as I should. Kind of embarrassing to say, but yeah there's days where I don't brush at all. Some days I brush once, very rarely I brush twice or thrice in a day. I've got braces too, so it's especially unhealthy for me at the moment. I think it's just laziness. Like, I mean like if I'm going out somewhere and I haven't brushed then I'll brush my teeth just as a common courtesy to the people I'm with, but yeah.
|
I prefer the term "teethbrushing"
But onto the topic, I brush my teeth once a day mostly. There are some days that I don't brush my teeth but it didn't affect me much. |
My teeth are immaculately white. I mean like angel white that you see on toothpaste adds on TV. I have bracesa too. I am just really pro at brushing, I panick if I ever see a speck of yellow, and yellow teeth are hideous. I brush a little too much. My pure white teeth may go black in the future, as brushing too much is bad and will scratch the enamel off your teeth. It is a habit of mine to brush till they are immaculate. |
Haha, I'm brushing my teeth right now. @[email protected]; I don't like to do it but I do my best to remember to do it every day... and when I can, twice a day ('cause my teeth stain easily D:).
I have a permanent retainer--it's kind of like braces on the inner-face of my teeth, and it makes it essentially impossible for me to floss, so I don't do that. But it means I have to brush my teeth even better to avoid plaque build-up and I suck at that so my dentists get on my case so bad every time I go. :( I also have ridiculously sensitive gums (comes partially from some of the medication I'm on, or so a dentist told me once) and they bleed pretty easily so when I brush thoroughly, they always bleed a bit. So brushing is not very pleasant and I hate it. That said I should stop typing and go finish up. XD; |
