A- A- ACHOOO
Bless you.
How often do you get sick? What is the worst part about being sick in your opinion? I don't get sick often, but when I do I think the worst part is the constant sneezing. It's annoying XD |
I rarely ever get sick, more then anything I have neck aches. The worst or lasting part is migraines. I usually have to sleep them off to go away, so when they persist the whole day it is a pain. Short term worst part is dry heaves, I feel like I have to throw up but I can't I absolutely had that.
|
I usually get sick about 3 times a year.
What I hate the most about it is when I have to blow my nose and there is not a tissue in site. |
The worst part has got to be the sore throat. I'd like to think I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but when I have a sore throat I will take every opportunity to complain about it. :| Congestion is pretty bad too, but I can usually clear that up with nasal sprays/decongestants.
Oh, and I hate how I always end up with a load of mucus for months after I get better. If I'm sick in December I will still sound all gross and nasally in February. |
I don't know how many times I get sick during the year, but its usually one to two times a year :P And the worst part is having no access to the outside world, lol.
|
My immune system is shot, but since I had my tonsils out a few years ago, I've been much better. I guess my tonsils were my 'weak spot' and I suffered an 8 month chronic tonsillitis which was such a pain, but now they are gone, I've been pretty well.
I don't get colds very often, but I got hayfever pretty bad for the first time this spring. I don't know if that qualifies as sickness, but yeah. |
I don't get sick nearly as often as I used to a few years ago, but I still seem to get sick more often than the average person. It was kinda fun when I was younger and didn't mind missing class, but it really becomes frustrating for me to deal with these days because not only do I end up missing class, I feel too fatigued to really do anything at home. It's really hard to study or work on any projects when you've got a fever or other ailments to fight off and that always kicks my butt and puts me behind where I should be for a couple of weeks unless I work like mad to make it up.
Also pretty allergic to cats and I have a family of them as pets, sooo they have to stay outside and that kinda sucks. |
I rarely get sick, but if I do, it usually involves a runny/stuffy nose and a slight fever.
|
Weird thing is that this year I haven't gotten really sick enough to go to the Doctor. Usually it's once a year. The worse this year is having a Blocked noes for a few days but that's pretty much it
|
This year alone I've gotten sick about twice, while a young child I got sick constantly and it was quite bothersome it somehow mixed bad(any kind of cold or flu) with my asthma which is now gone practically as I've got hardly any symptoms of it, I feel so fresh not feeling horrible as I used to years ago, and I try and eat well and eat healthy foods with vitamins, etc. Now that I think about it I never took my health serious, but seeing as I'm now a teenager I know by now.
|
Apart from getting diagnosed with celiac earlier this year, I don't get sick that often. I generally get a major cold 4 times a year, once for every change of the seasons :| it's a pain.
|
I get the freakin' flue or cold every damn season!
Seriously, what's up with that?! Can't I just have one winter break that isn't half of the time spent in bed?! |
I get sick each year in autumn, and it's almost always during the holidays. But, apart from that my immune system is pretty solid.
|
I usually get sick, as in more than just a cold sick, about once a year in the winter. The worst part is having a runny nose, I go through a bunch of Kleenex. Plus I just hate the general "sick" feeling, even taking a shower doesn't do much good in that regard.
|
Worst sicknesses for vomiting, explosive diarrhea and most of all sore throats are my most hated (i have never had anything really serious). Sore throats hurt a lot when your breathe, you cant go to sleep and it hurts to eat and drink. When it comes to being sick I am the biggest drama queen and exaggerator. It is like I am dying in hospital when I have sore throat. I had constipation once. It was like giving birth through my butt :/ Most painful experience of my life XD
Bit too much info? |
I don't get sick often. I am rather lucky in that sense. My immune system is pretty decent.
I think the last time I was really REALLY ill was a long time ago. And I haven't vomited since I was in my early teenage years. |
I'm not extremely sick prone, so I don't get sick often. But when I do... I would give anything to be at school instead of dying on my bed. xD
The worst part I'd say is the dry heaves. Throwing up is a big one too. |
Don't get that sick often. When I do it doesn't last long, really.
The worst part of getting sick is staying in your bed doing nothing. D: |
I don't get sick often, but if I'm hit by a cold, it will stay there for ages. I caught a cold at the end of August and we didn't part ways until mid-November. It was horrible. I've gotten used to having to go on after contracting a cold so it doesn't really effect my workload much, it's just generally annoying.
|
I rarely gets sick. But if at the moment, it would be the headaches, OH the headaches.
|
Every year till I was 14 I used to get horribly sick and end up going to the doctors and having to get some sort of prescription medicine. For some reason after I had some flu like illness at 14 years old I haven't gotten overly sick since. At the worst I've had a stuffy nose and nothing more then that. I remember last year when there was the big swine flu outbreak tons of kids at my school were out because of it and I was perfectly fine.
The worst part about being sick and this depends on how sick you really are is the lack of sleep or uncomfortable sleep. When I'm really sick it's hard to fall asleep because my nose is so stuffy I can barely breathe or my throat will ache so badly it keeps me up. Probably one of the worst side effects of being really sick is that cold to hot feeling. One minute you're so cold you need to be covered in blankets and the next minute you're sweating up a storm and have to throw them all off. Even with that said I still see the positives of being sick. I can't say I haven't used being sick to my advantage for getting out of things. Stuff like school, work around the house, avoiding going out with someone. |
Until I was about 12 or something (I can't remember), I was often sick every three months or something. But not often now. Now it's only like twice a year or something
|
I'm usually only sick once a year. An exception would be last year, when I fell ill twice.
|
I don't get sick all that often, and when I do it's usually one of those things where it goes away in 24-48 hours, with varying amounts of suffering in between. I really can't remember the last time I had a prolonged cold.
|
I get sick every time the weather changes.. .-. Stupid immune system.
