Yet another team I need help with...

I've actually been winning with this team on netbattle (mostly due to luck). But unfortunately my favourite pokemon houndoom just isn't pulling his weight. He makes us too weak to fighting moves. I'd like to replace something else so I can keep houndoom but I don't know what. Should I just ditch the hound? And replace him with what? Anyway here's the team;

Gyarados @ leftovers
Adamant
EVs; HP, ATK, def, spdef
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Hidden Power Flying
Taunt

Steelix @ leftovers (sturdy)
Adamant
EVs; HP, def, atk
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Roar
Explosion

Blissey @ leftovers (natural cure)
Careful
EVs; HP, spdef
Heal Bell
Softboiled
Seismic Toss
Toxic
(I HATE blissey but the **** things just too good :\ )

Starmie @ leftovers (natural cure)
Modest
Evs; spd, spatk
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Recover

Breloom @ leftovers
Jolly
EVs; spd, atk
Mach Punch
Spore
Swords Dance
Hidden Power Ghost

Houndoom @ white herb/lum berry
Timid
EVs; spd, spatk/HP, spd, spatk
Sunny Day/Counter
Overheat/Fire Blast
Solarbeam/HP Water
Pursuit
I've tried both of these sets. The sunny day one works best but tends to screw over the rest of the team.

I'm not really looking for a rate here, since they're all standards. I just need to switch some pokemon to reduce the fighting weakness. But what, what what???

(oh, help with EVs and natures would be nice, if I need it)

Well, I'd actually not use Gyarados to start, but maybe that's just me =x Although there's probably nothing wrong with starting on a Gyarados, but IMHO, starting with power isn't as effective as starting with screwage.

Thats just it...everyone else starts with screwage, and taunt messes them up. The only time gyarados is screwed as a starter is when a tbolter comes out, or another physical attacker...namely aerodactyl...grr...
A lot of "noobs" tend to assume gyarados has water attacks so they switch to a water type and get nailed, which is always fun.

lol, well I guess that rationale works. But actual teamwise, what is your team really missing? Other than the fact that Steelix is your only physical D, but he's weak to Quake, so maybe I'd try for something that can help with that?

Tangela is pwnage physical D. =D No Im not saying this because he is numba two to Shuckle. :-P

Dusclops > Tauntrados. I use just SPAM Night Shade until it dies every time I see Gyarados, whether it Taunts or not it can't take down Dusclops by the time it's down to low health, and if it crits and KOes Dusclops, then my QAer finishes him off, since he'll be at best 20% health (more likely 10-15%)
