Unreal Tournament and Raptr

I use a program called Raptr. It's a neat little tool that's similar to Xfire, but it can track everything. You just have to input the game hours manually for consoles that can't connect to it. But before I used it, I used Xfire.

Before using Xfire, Unreal Tournament ran perfectly. 1280x1024, 32-bit colour, and High details with little lag. Once I got Xfire, I bumped the quality down to Medium because I was sick of the gentle lag. I haven't played it for awhile until recently, with Raptr being the only significant change. UT lagged. All the time. It even lagged at 800x600 on low detail with 16-bit colour! The only thing changed since the last time I ran it was Xfire to Raptr, so I'm guessing it has something to do with Raptr.

It's a shame too, because I really like Raptr. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Disable raptr and see if that fixes the problem. It sounds like a CPU limitation, because the graphics drop doesn't help. Have a look in task manager to see if anything else is slowing things down.

...Huh.

I disabled Raptr and booted it up. Worked fine on the highest resolution. So it obviously is Raptr.

...Should've thought of disabling it before, but thanks for your input.

It looks like you're stuck with Xfire. :D Submit a bug report, though.

I'll be sure to.

Thanks. :D
