Can staff see 'invisible' members?
Title is the question.
|
I'm pretty sure I've heard this before, but yes, I'm fairly sure staff can see members on invisible mode.
|
Yes, thy can. Would be pretty silly if the mode made you invisible to the whole forum including staff members. =]
|
Nice formatting there Fabio lmao.
Anyway, yes, we as staff from moderators upwards, have the ability to see who is appearing offline, as I can see you now Cassino. We merely see you as "invisible", and this is exclusive to staff. |

I'd imagine the response would be that it's none of their business.

To begin with, if the user is invisible, he doesn't want to be seen as online by the other members, so then I guess that would answer your question. |

There's no rule about telling people if someone's online or not but generally it's accepted that we don't because it's rude and it's a breech of privacy. :/

Do you have a sort of 'staff code of conduct'? I've long been left to wonder given how everyone apparently deals with things their own ways. |

I mean, it would make sense. |

This is a peculiar case, everyone. I think I'm satisfied by your answers so far, let's not penetrate it any more.
