can't catch suicune please help

This is what I know you need to start with chamander. When you move from a route to another route or city they move.plus you must beat the elite four. I used max repel for 2 hours and it won't appear why

GYM LEADDER A December 2nd, 2004 6:28 PM

It's not like gold sliver and crystal it will apperar on it's own.It may take long. good luck. But be ready when it comes. You will never know when it will.I suggest you get wobbuffetit's good to use.Have it in front of your party just in case.

daultimate December 2nd, 2004 6:35 PM

Yeah, have a pokemon like Wobbufet's Shadow Tag, or someone who knows something like Mean Look. You're going to have to try and find it. It might take a LONG time, like Gym Leadder said, but you'll find it eventually. And don't get fustrated about it.

Dark Dragonite December 2nd, 2004 6:54 PM

Thank you for the help.I will hopefully find it.

SkinnyGreenMan December 2nd, 2004 9:01 PM

All Repel does is keep the pokemon that are at a lower level then the one at the head positon of your party away. If your first pokemon is above level 40 (or whichever level suicune is at), it won't appear when you use Repel.

IceKitten December 3rd, 2004 1:33 AM

The legendary dogs are at level 50, I traded my Colosseum dogs to track the FR/LG ones down o.o

Murpheos December 3rd, 2004 3:36 AM

also, if you are using wobbuffet for shadow tag, make sure that you are in a low-level pokemon area, otherwise wobuffet wont be able to escape. i found that out with sapphire and latios

IceKitten December 3rd, 2004 3:39 AM

I just kept entering and exiting the route West to Lavender Town.

The new Pokédex is annoying since everytime you look at a Pokémon in it, next time you look you have to go all the way to the Pokémon you was looking at, and Entei is number 244 *dies* X_x

Murpheos December 3rd, 2004 3:56 AM

i agree, Tig, it is a pain to continuosly scroll down to the legendary dog that you are looking for.
personally, i have caught all three on colloseum, when i finsih it i shall trade them over, its cheap i know, but i will get to them on the GBA eventaully.

IceKitten December 6th, 2004 4:56 AM

That's how I find the areas http://67.18.37.17/1570/93/emo/jump1.gif

Toothache December 6th, 2004 5:36 PM

I started with Bulbasaur (after doing a little trading for the other two starters, of course), so I've only managed to come across my wild Entei once (happened on the way to Cerulean Cave, the Fire Pokemon appearing on the water was kinda funny at the time). I switched to my Dusclops (because it has Mean Look) and he ran away. Oh well - I have my Colosseum Entei so I can still track him if I ever want to catch him.

Shikon no Tama December 6th, 2004 5:45 PM

Here's how I see you can catch it:

1) Teach a Haunter both Mean look and Hypnosis

2) Get as many Ultra Balls and be ready to get surprised. You mostly find those devious dogs in the most UNEXPECTED places. In my Crystal I found Raiko(whatever it's name is!) in the water. And I read in the PokeDex and my guide book that electric Pokemon have a hard time swimming and they hate water. o_0

3) Make sure that while Suicune is asleep, that you use Mean Look. Now use Disable until it can't use it's Roar attack and attack Suicune until it has a little health left then Hypnosis again and throw as many balls as you want!

Murpheos December 6th, 2004 5:47 PM

of course it would have ran, unless your dusclops was first in in your team, and have a higher speed rating than entei, and so on and so forth

Shikon no Tama December 6th, 2004 5:51 PM

All the legendary dogs have a great ammount of speed so I suggest using a few items on your Pokemon to increase your speed or improve your team to be specially formed against speedy Pokemon. For example:

Entei has about 120 speed or something near the 100 line while Snorlax has a very low speed due to it's weight. But, if you use a fast Pokemon such as Pikachu, you would have better luck getting the speed and move upper hand.

Mutt December 6th, 2004 5:57 PM

If we're talking Firered/Leafgreen..

In Firered/Leafgreen, it appears on its own. Me and my friend have seen it and I even caught it. In Ruby/Sapphire, it isn't catchable without a cheating device.
;)

IceKitten December 8th, 2004 4:53 AM

I save my Masterball for rare Pokémon like them....yeh

Kaiorga8929 December 9th, 2004 8:58 AM

I just catch other legendary pokemon with ultra balls, while I use the Master Ball for pokemon that like to run away, like my Raikou in LG, Latios in Ruby and Latias in Sapphire

THIRTY-SIX December 9th, 2004 9:06 AM

u could always use golbats mean look to trap it and attack it then use ultra balls like i did with latios ^_^

HereticSteel December 9th, 2004 9:08 AM

Raise a crobat until you get mean look or if its past that stage go to the move tutor(cant remember where) and teach mean look and then sucuine wont be able to escape!

I had luck: I was training my golbat for mean look near fuschia and the bike path, I beat a trainer and it learnt mean look, went in the grass and sucuine appeared! I cought it as well! It took a while cuz if you kill it and switch off and on you will have to retrace everything you did exactly or it wont appear, so be cautious!

Absolkid December 9th, 2004 9:16 AM

Train a wobbuffet higher than Lv 50 and put it first in your party. But it can be annoying when you find a pokemon you don't need. Or if you have colosseum, get Suicune from there. Does the colosseum Suicune have the same stats as an lg suicune?

every pokemon is unique, so having two pokemon of the same species can be extremely rare having the same stats.. but you can get Suicune from colosseum and trace it in LG in the pokedex

IceKitten December 10th, 2004 6:46 AM

The only Pokémon that has different stats to different versions is Deoxys *implodes*

Absolkid December 10th, 2004 6:50 AM

Oops...I should've said if the colo's levels and moves are the same as the Lg's

IceKitten December 10th, 2004 6:53 AM

Probably, unless Suicune learns a new move at level 50 http://67.18.37.17/1570/93/emo/bounce.gif
