Your favourite spin-off.

I was just thinking about the pokemon spin-off's and began thinking about which one was my favorite. My favorite would be the Mystery Dungeon series with Colosseum not being a distant second. Ranger was decent but it left scratch marks on my DS :L.

PlatinumDude January 28th, 2011 5:39 PM

I like the Mystery Dungeon games, with Ranger at a close second. They're really fun.

jcsimpson January 28th, 2011 6:27 PM

I loved Pokemon Snap and Pokemon stadium when I was a kid so those hold the top spots for me.

Sydian January 28th, 2011 8:04 PM

Pokemon Colosseum for me. :) And definitely Pokemon Stadium 2. That's the game that taught me how to battle.

MysticFlygon January 28th, 2011 8:51 PM

The Mystery Dungeon games are my favorite too. I never got the chance to play ranger or any of the console games past Pokemon Stadium 2.

Iceshadow3317 January 29th, 2011 7:25 AM

I do not like the pokemon ranger gamers or dungeons. The only spin off games are as followed.

1st. Colosseum
2nd. XD Gale of Darkness
3rd. Battle Rev
4th. Stadium 2
5th. Stadium 1

Perriechu January 29th, 2011 7:36 AM

My absolute first would have to be the amazing Mystery Dungeon games. Followed by XD/Colosseum. Battle Revolution coming in 3rd. Rest of them can die on the scrap heap :(

mikey January 29th, 2011 8:07 AM

Pokemon XD, it was awesome.

I second that, and Colloseum. Never played Stadium 1 or 2, though I heard something about those games availible as Wiiware, anyone can confirm this?

AshPikastar January 29th, 2011 9:16 AM

Pokemon Rangers game and Mystery Dungeon are my favorite spin offs.

pokewalker January 29th, 2011 10:38 AM

1st: Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs
2nd: Pokémon Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
3th: Pokémon Dash

Yay! 300st post!!!!!!!!!

Satoshi Ookami January 30th, 2011 12:32 AM

Mystery Dungeons and Ranger games =)
I think in this order:
1. MD Sky
2. Ranger Almia
3. Ranger Guardian Signs

Zeffy January 30th, 2011 2:49 AM

Hey you, Pikachu!

Its not that great, but its my favorite. I love the way Pikachu reacts at the stuff I say. xD

Lynnth February 1st, 2011 2:17 AM

Pokemon Colosseum
Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia
Pokemon Stadium 1 + 2

Palkia February 1st, 2011 2:21 AM

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time.

Quite possibly the best DS game ever. <3

Have you played Sky?
Imo it's much more better than Time =)

There are quite a few good ones, but the Pokémon Stadiums have to be the best ones by far. They had everything I could ask for. I also really enjoyed Pokémon Snap, the Trading Card Game (for GBC), and the first installment of the Mystery Dungeon series (haven't tried the others).

Colosseum was good, but lack of wild Pokémon + wierd character names (Miror B.? What the heck?) brings it down. Never got very far on Pinball or Hey You Pikachu although I did have some fun with them. The Puzzle League was also fun but kind of outclassed by the others.

skyluigi2 February 8th, 2011 12:02 PM

Its got to be XD, followed closely by the Mystery Dungeon series. I don't actually know which is my fave MD game, but I did just start Blue again :D

GlitchCity February 9th, 2011 6:32 PM

I have yet to play any of the ranger games. But the Mystery Dungeon games had me hooked for a very, very long time. I enjoyed every second of it. Love the music of course, the storyline was unbelieveable. Mystery Dungeon 2 made me cry at the end. Kudos.

psychomew2 February 9th, 2011 7:04 PM

seeing as the n64 was my first console i have a soft spot in my heart for puzzle leauge and the stadium games. i still play puzzle leauge a bit, i was able to beat the hardest difficulty when it got realsed on the virtual console. i kinda wish they would re-release the stadium games, but thats not gunna happen :(.

Enigma February 10th, 2011 6:04 PM

Favorite spin-offs have to be Colosseum/XD, with Mystery Dungeon games coming in a close second. Both have, and always will be, very entertaining games. To me, neither of them has ever gotten old.

blue February 11th, 2011 6:14 AM

Pokémon Colosseum AND/OR Pokémon Ranger 2: Shadow Of Almia.

olih February 12th, 2011 2:28 PM

My favorite is the Mystery Dungeon series. Second is Ranger. I thought both had more creative storylines than the main games (You are a trainer that saves the world from Team Whatever and you try to become Pokemon Champion). Explorers of Sky is my favorite game, and it also has an amazing storyline.

DrawerWorthy February 19th, 2011 11:24 AM

The only spin-off I've played is Ranger, and I enjoyed it very much!

Jimlary February 23rd, 2011 12:58 AM

For me it is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness. Its pair of action-packed adventures, players journey as actual Pokemon through a fantastic land untouched by humans.
