Likes and Dislikes of Gen V Pokémon

With 156 new Pokémon introduced in Unova, there are bound to be many that we all favor more than others. Whether it be because of their designs, abilities, stats, or backgrounds, there's always something we find favorable about these new Pokémon when they first came around. What are some of your favorite and least favorite Pokémon in Generation V? Were you always fond of them when you first saw them, or did it take time to adjust?

Feel free to mention other opinions you may have about the Pokémon you like or dislike in Unova.

blue February 5th, 2011 7:18 AM

Yeah, since we've found out all Gen V Pokémon & names, I've actually grew fond of quite alot of them, I mean there is 156 so there is quite a few to like and dislike, although, can't think of any I dislike off the top of my head.
For example, the six in my signature are some of my new favourites!

Ho-Oh February 5th, 2011 7:23 AM

Favourites... almost everything (including Denchura/Bachuru <3)

Oh and adding onto the discussion of the last thread - I still really don't find any positives to Volcarona. ;__;

Sabrewulf238 February 5th, 2011 7:30 AM

I do like most of the new pokemon, more than anything there are some I'm indifferent towards rather than strongly dislike.

Palpitoad and Cobalion still irk me a little, but not as much as when I first saw them. I guess palpitoad jiggling animation is sort of cute...

I guess the fact that it's a Bug/Fire type, and it's got such a high stat total for a non-legendary, and well.. it's a popular Pokémon.

ISA56 2.0 February 5th, 2011 8:38 AM

My favorite 5th Gen Pokemon would have to be Braviary, Excadrill, Haxorus, Zororak, Serperior, Emboar, Samurott, Zebstrika, Gigalith, Krookodile, Sawsbuck, Escavalier, Eelektross, Hydreigon, Zekrom, Kyurem, and Genesect. All of these seem really well-made, if not slightly overdone.

The ones I hate? Pretty much all the others. Garbodor is the worst, though.

GlitchCity February 5th, 2011 11:19 AM

I have gotten used to them. At first I didnt want to ridicule them so soon. Most of them became my favorites right away..
Actuall these two here:
http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr348/Dr_Psyke/Zuruggu.gifhttp://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa328/EyeKanFly2/sprites/560.gif
I was disgusted with them, but I am in love with them now :D

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 5th, 2011 12:04 PM

lol when I first saw their design I wanted to laugh at them for their silliness but now I'm used to them and like them :)

Tropical Sunlight February 5th, 2011 12:33 PM

The only ones I don't like are Kyurem, because of its retarded wings and asymmetrical shape of the body overall, and Unfezant, because it's just weak and has a boring desing.

Latios Master February 5th, 2011 1:10 PM

My favorite designs are Snivy/Servine/Serperior, Blitzle/Zebstrika, Basculin, Sandile/Krokorok/Krookodile, Archen/Archeops, Litwick/Lampent/Chandelure, and Zekrom. I dislike the designs of Munna/Musharna, Timburr/Gurdurr/Conkeldurr, Throh, Sawk, Darumaka/Darmanitan, Scraggy/Scrafty, and Trubbish/Garbodor.

Snowflakes February 5th, 2011 1:54 PM

I gotta say, I LOVE Trubbish and Garbador (not sure if I spelled Garbador right).
At first, I was REALLY disappointed in those designs, but then I noticed "Hey! Those are based on garbage bags!" and I fell in love with them.
Especially Trubbish. It's so adorable in its own way!

It was love at first sight for me and Erufuun.
I'm so dismayed by the English name that I now refuse to use it. :c
Erufuun is much more fitting than Whimsicott...
Heh. c: Back on topic, I really have grown to love these new Pokemon.
...Except for that one dragon that looks like it belongs in Digimon. HATEHATEHATEHATE it.

Luck February 5th, 2011 2:04 PM

My dislikes? Well, I hate about 70% of the new pokemon when 80% of the pokemon designs are actual crap.

On the other hand though, I do really like Bedrock Crab and Seed Bby.

Isasapiens February 5th, 2011 2:48 PM

I liked about 80% of this gen. They tried something new at least.

PlatinumDude February 5th, 2011 4:37 PM

My favorite B/W Pokemon:
-Excadrill (how can you not like a Pokemon that looks like Neo-Spacian Grand Mole?)
-Zoroark (for its ability to fool opponents with Illusion)
-Reshiram and Zekrom (for being the mascot Pokemon)
-Samurott/Daikenki (the most epic of the fully evolved Unova starters)
-Hydreigon/Sazandora (3-headed dragon of doom)
-Volcarona/Ulgamoth (flaming moths win)
-Bisharp/Kirikizan (looks like a Power Ranger)
-Archeo(p)s (good stats, cool design)

Least favorites:
-Trubbish/Yabukuron and Garbodor/Dasutodasu (they creeped me out when I first saw them)
-Cryogonal/Furiijio (creepy snowflake, bizarre movepool)

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 5th, 2011 6:08 PM

I can help but think that half of this gen's pokemon are clones of other regions...specially Kanto clones...
anyways I like the Ghost/Fire pokemon, it's got great SA and it's cute in it's basic form :)

XtinaIsMeLuvinWWE February 6th, 2011 1:07 PM

Although some of the designs are a wee bit dodgy, I love so many of the new ones that it doesn't really matter to me lol :D

blue February 6th, 2011 3:13 PM

One of my favourites, is Swanna, shes beautiful and strong!

Shining Raichu February 7th, 2011 5:51 PM

I think everybody takes an immediate dislike to the new Pokemon whenever a new generation comes out, then we eventually come around. I know I hated the third and fourth gens when they first arrived, now I love them all. I haven't looked at a lot of the fifth gen Pokemon yet, because I want the first time I see them to be when I'm playing the games, but I'm sure I'll feel the same way about them too.

skyluigi2 February 8th, 2011 9:09 AM

You've got to love Litwick. It's design is so simple, and so amazing :)
Oh, and Klink. ( I love their names! Klink, Klang, Klinklang!)
Not forgetting Sewaddle! Oh, and Vanillite too.
Foongus, too!! And Golett.
I don't really like any of the legendaries...

miley810 February 8th, 2011 9:13 AM

Hi.Well what I dislike is that they turned Pokabu (I use their Jappenese names alot) into a freaking hog thats UGLY!I like Mijimuru's evolve form, but it reminds me of Mudkip's.I seem to favorite the water pokemon starters alot, and I choose you,Mijimuru!

Porygon Z February 8th, 2011 3:34 PM

Mah favs are: Excadrill, Whimsicott, Lilligant, Krookodile, Darmanitan, Crustle, Scrafty, Carracosta, Zoroark, Reuniclus, Vanilluxe Ferrothorn, Haxorus, Accelgor, Golurk, Braviary, Hydreigon, Volcarona, Zekrom.

Mah least favs are: Liepard, Audino, Seismitoad, Leavanny, Escavalier, Jellicent, Alomomola, Beheeyem, Cryogonal, Bisharp, Durant, Cobalon, Kyurem.

marcc5m February 8th, 2011 3:53 PM

My favourites are probably Garbodor and Chandelure.
Garbodor I wasn'ttoo fond of at first, but now it's one of my favourites, and I instantly fell in love with Chandelure when I first saw it.
The only one I really don't like is Cryogonal. It's a block of ice shaped like a snowflake with some orbs in it. That's it :\

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 8th, 2011 3:55 PM

I like all of the new pokemon but the trash one is my least favorite on the list...

Moved this to the opinions thread, since you already started what starter you wanted.

Anyway, I disagree. :( It's adorable; much cuter than a lot of B/W Pokemon.

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 9th, 2011 5:59 PM

I agree with Forever Tepig is a Cute little pig...even cuter than Spoink :3

theowlmanlives February 9th, 2011 6:00 PM

I used to think as things went on they started looking less and less like pokemon but i actually like this generation.

rocky505 February 9th, 2011 6:02 PM

My favorite is Braviary because I have been wanting a bald eagle pokemon since gen 3 now all we need is a white tiger and I will be a happy panda, Wait a minute 0_o

theowlmanlives February 9th, 2011 6:03 PM

While i agree that tepig is better looking than some of the pokemon I still don't like it. Though I think oshawatt is kinda cute.

UGLY? I could understand if you said unappealing, but UGLY? D:
Tepig is definitely the cutest of the 3 starters, followed closely by Oshawott. But personally, I don't find Snivy cute at all. Does that make me weird? :s

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 9th, 2011 6:08 PM

Yeah you're the weirdest person in the world! JK XD
I think Snivy is more beautiful than cute :)

rocky505 February 9th, 2011 6:10 PM

Tepig is cute, Oshawott is a badass (see my avy) and Snivy is? odd.

Ho-Oh February 9th, 2011 6:13 PM

Yeaaah I've never really liked Snivy. :x

I blame the fans. I like its design but overall? Honestly, Tepig/Oshawott look a lot better than it.

Plus Tepig's final evo can learn ~scald~ via TMs soooo :3

http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101120193021/pokemon/images/b/b0/Maggyo.png

Ho-Oh February 9th, 2011 6:19 PM

Magg--Stunfisk isn't strange. It represents the creature it's... trying to represent. Blame the actual creature? :(

Tbh, the only thing is I wish it would be completely flat - but otherwise there isn't that much too bad about it.

theowlmanlives February 9th, 2011 6:23 PM

if it was completely flat it wouldn't look strange. Though I don't like some of the designs of the pokemon its nice to see the game designers are trying to be more original.
Also I thought they stopped their monkey business with aipom and chimchar but it seems they've made an elemental monkey trio

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 9th, 2011 6:27 PM

I also like Stunfish it's unique :)

theowlmanlives February 9th, 2011 6:29 PM

My two favorite pokemon have to be my avatar and

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 9th, 2011 6:32 PM

I like those two, they are both cute plus they are used by the best gym leader of Unova :3

theowlmanlives February 9th, 2011 6:36 PM

I like emolga because its so cute and i like
blitzle(I think that's its name) because zebras are my fav animal.
And I love any electric pokemon as long as it doesn't look like half of it was flattened with a hammer(namely stunfisk)

Does anyone else find this strange looking?
http://pokemondb.net/static/sprites/black-white/normal/shelmet.png

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 9th, 2011 7:24 PM

I like the three monkeys, their types and looks are cool and so is the philosophy they are based on :3

theowlmanlives February 9th, 2011 7:33 PM

I guess so it's just I'm tired of monkey business. Ugh, I've been around my brother to long; I'm starting to use puns.
Also I know its not practical but could they add an electric type as a starter for once? It's my favorite type.

Yeah...Shelmet/Chobomaki looks like it's about to kiss someone.

Velvex the Øverlørd February 9th, 2011 8:13 PM

Excadrill, I absolutely love Excadrill. I imagine it will be the equivalent to my Rhydon from Generation I games, although it seems like the common opinion of Excadrill is positive. Along with Excadrill, Zoroark is one of my favorites of Generation V. Archeops and Zebstrika (appearance-wise for Zebstrika, not so fond of the stats outside of speed) are another two of my favorites.

I didn't like Chandelure at first, but it has grown to be one of my favorites (especially with Shadow Tag, talk about a beast.) And lastly Tirtouga and Carracosta, I love both of them. I would have loved to see a middle-evolution in its evolution chain and see it as the water starter instead of the Oshawott evolution chain. In fact, none of the starters are that great this time around if you ask me.

The did but that was a one time thing back in Gen I with Pikachu in Yellow...
I like Extradrill too, it's quite a powerhouse to fear with it's special ability and stats :)

wingman11 February 9th, 2011 8:55 PM

Again with this? How can people not see that Stunfisk is a flounder? I mean, really, look at this:
http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101120193021/pokemon/images/b/b0/Maggyo.png
http://www.floridiannature.com/gulf-flounder.jpg

I can't be the only one who knows what a flounder is.

Anyways, I have quite a few favorites with this generation (bolded = possible team members): Victini, Oshawott - Dewott - Samurott, Drilbur - Excadrill, Scolipede, Sandile - Krookodile, Sigilyph, Archen - Archeops, Karrablast - Escaliver, Joltic - Galvantula, Tynamos - Eelektross, Litwick - Chandelure, Stunfisk, Mienfoo - Mienshao, Deino - Hydreigon

Yeah, that's a long list. As for dislikes, there are only a few: Tympole and its evos (ugly wart things, plus Tympole's CREEPY HUMAN-FACE-LIKE-THING), Timburr-Conkeldurr (just plain ugly, look at that face and tell me that it's cool looking; it's name matches what I'd expect it to be saying. DURRRRRRR), almost anything with the ability Sturdy after its change (no OHKOs is unfair, I mean seriously), and Druddigon (needs to go back to Digimon, where it belongs).

You're not alone here. Stunfisk/Maggyo is based on a flounder with characteristics of electric rays or a stargazer. It should've been Water/Ground instead of Electric/Ground; if it's found on water, why is it weak to Water attacks?

blue February 10th, 2011 4:40 AM

Yeah, I'm not too fond of Stunfisk's design, and I don't see why it's a fish yet, it's not water.

It's probably a Ground/Electric type because of what it's based on. Like I said, Stunfisk is based off of flounders, but, as mentioned by PlatinumDude, it's also based off of stargazers. That's the Electric type part. (Excerpt from Wikipedia page - "Stargazers...can also cause electric shocks") As for the Ground type, flounders AND stargazers spend most of their time on the sea floor, covering themselves up in the ground and waiting for their prey to approach. Expanding upon that, Stunfisk also known as the Trap Pokémon: that being a reference to how many are injured by stepping on a stingray on a beach. It all adds up quite nicely, albeit a little obscure.

Though if they could have, they probably would've made it Electric/Ground/Water type. They just didn't want to break that "two types max" rule, most likely. It would've made everything so much more confusing.

theowlmanlives February 10th, 2011 2:33 PM

Lol my pokemon black/white team(havent decided which) is going to be half electric types and half dark. There my two favorite types and even though its not smart I SHALL OVER COME ANY CHALLENGE! Is there a pokemon, any pokemon at all that has electric and dark types?

Dillon_68 February 10th, 2011 8:42 PM

Boldore is ugly, I don't like it. The first form looks the best, imo. Gigalith looks weird too.

PlatinumDude February 10th, 2011 10:41 PM

Gigalith reminds me of Chromastone from Ben 10, and to a lesser extent, Heatran. It's also the Unova counterpart of Golem.

Heatran... it either was that Pokemon or another Unova Pokemon it looked like, I think someone mentioned earlier. Or maybe it was you. Idk. XD Gigalith is better than the middle stage evo though :(

I should've included Heatmor as the ugliest but nobody complained about it ;___; /was just reminded of it by thinking of Heatran

...yeah Emboar would've only looked better that way (it's what most of the fans were assuming). Samurott and Serperior look un-natural and don't really match Snivy/Oshawott, whereas Emboar actually looks somewhat natural, without the extra "add-ons", like what Samurott has with the jewels on its body.

King Gumball February 12th, 2011 10:22 PM

OH wow I love that pic of Emboar, it looks way betetr than the actual Emboar XD It looks way fiercer, faster and generally cooler than what we have now. Not that I don't like Emboar or anything.

OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire February 12th, 2011 10:38 PM

I like Emboar as it is, it's tough and strong looking like it's movepool ;)

Buuut this thread is for Pokemon dislikes, not name dislikes (which belongs in English names thread).

KG: Actually, I don't think it looks faster. Kinda looks the same speed as the Emboar we have.

Please change the name if this is so as it is misleading.

"Likes and Dislikes of Gen V Pokémon"

Title means What do you like or don't like about the new Pokemon. In my case all of their names.

Title changed, hopefully this makes it a bit clearer for those who were mislead from the previous name of this thread. :)

Continue on now!

Derezzed February 13th, 2011 12:54 PM

I think the garbage and the ice cream pokemon look awful and fail to see the appeal in their design seeing as they're neither cute nor particularly fierce looking.

I adore Sazandora though, such a flawless design and type combo!

There's a few hit and miss designs this gen, but on the whole they're a good looking bunch.

Patch93 February 13th, 2011 6:16 PM

I love Lillipup! I'm surprised no one's mentioned them. I have a Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix in real life who looks more like a Yorkie, so I'll be getting one and naming it after her. x3

I don't recall much discussion on Lillipup in the older thread, or maybe I'm just forgetful. Either way, I think Lillipup is pretty adorable. When I first saw it, I thought the fur or whatever is exactly on its face was nice, but... I dunno, now after looking at Stoutland and Herdier, I actually prefer their designs to Lillipup, because they look more realistic. Not saying Lillipup isn't cute though, but maybe to see it without the facial fur, maybe? :D;

(Then again, it probably would look weird without it)

Vindra February 13th, 2011 7:06 PM

Here are a few I'm really looking forward to training:

Snivy - I just love it's personality. It's super cute too!
Liepard - Finally, an easily obtainable cat that isn't normal type! :3
Sewaddle, Cottony, Petilil, Cinccino - ADORABLE! <3
Deerling - I'm excited about the way its look changes with the seasons.
Chandelure - Has a really interesting design, and I like its unique type combo.
Mienshao - Looks so graceful. I'm tired of the fighting types that look like people. XD
Hydreigon - Love the name origins behind this one and the others in its family.

On the other hand, I really can't stand the ice cream Pokemon. Try hard to look cute. No, really.

Patch93 February 13th, 2011 7:09 PM

I like the whole line. Now that I look, he does have some really weird facial hair going on there. xD But he's so little and squishable he can pull it off. Stoutland's a little freaky looking. Probably because he sort of explodes with fur, haha.

Well yeah Stoutland has a lot of fur, but looking at that and Lillipup, which is more realistic? Clearly Stoutland! ...I think. As for Herdier, everything about its body and fur covering seems to line up perfectly imo.

(Well maybe not Stoutland as I don't see that ma--wait there is a type of dog that is really furry like Stoutland...I just forgot what it is XD;)

Patch93 February 13th, 2011 7:16 PM

He looks more realistic, except that he'd trip over his 'stache. Poor guy.

Shih Tzus have quite a bit of fur like that. So maybe they really are my dog in Pokemon form. xD

Rai February 13th, 2011 7:28 PM

I dislike a lot of them. I am too lazy to list them here. Maybe I will list them in another post.

But anyway, I will take the time to list the ones I really like! :3

Purrloin, Unfezant, Bliztle, Swoobat, Audino, Sewaddle, Scolipede, Whimsicoot, Liligant, Sandile, Dwebble, Minnicno/Ciccino, Emolga, Galvantula, Litwick, Axew and... DEERLING! <3

Wow, there are a lot more that I like than I thought. But hey, that's a good thing :D

PlatinumDude February 13th, 2011 7:31 PM

I like Lillipup's line. Lillipup is so cute in its first stage. I also like Herdier because it has a mustache. Stoutland is just too fluffy.

serperior looks better that way...and it can also be kinda related to servine....but common....the emboar and serperior in that pic look a lot better then the official ones....not the duwot one though...looks like.....i don't know.....

yeah i thought people would like him.......he's gr8.....

I adore Sazandora though, such a flawless design and type combo!

There's a few hit and miss designs this gen, but on the whole they're a good looking bunch.

yeah they suck man.........

spike6958 February 14th, 2011 10:20 AM

I felt the same as I did the last two Gens, hated most of them when they where first shown, but over the weeks since then I have grown to like quite a lot of them, there are still many I dislike though, but my biggest problem with Gen V is easily the names of the Pokemon.

Calamity February 14th, 2011 12:32 PM

Kyurem: I just dont get its design. Are those things on its back supposed to be wings or what? 'cos they look like their made outa ice, and ice wings wouldn't work well....

I don't know about anyone else, but I feel that the pokemon designs are starting to revert back to their roots, which is a good thing. One of the few differences is the better quality they are available in, but just their overall design and layout of each creature in general seem as though they were pulled from the past. It makes sense if you think about it, how the time is supposed to be around the same as the first games.

インフェルノの津波 February 14th, 2011 9:45 PM

I'm pretty much okay with everything, except the "4th Musketeer".

God I hate that thing, looks like a My Little Pony...

Rai February 14th, 2011 9:48 PM

Everyone seems to hate Keldeo. Am I the only one who likes it? I think it's adorable and has a cool type.

My issue is that it had potential to be better. Like really, you'd expect something larger and more majestic for a unicorn Pokemon. It's okay, but it's one of those that just could be better. Plus it's typing is so... out there, lol. I defs wouldn't have predicted being half water type :x

I see what you mean. I guess people would like it better if it weren't a legendary; you're right, it's not very majestic. Either way, I think it's cute and I look forward to catching it.

In all honesty Pokemon designs have never really been known to abide by the basic Laws of physics, so just take it with a pinch of salt! :)

mzmingle February 15th, 2011 6:24 AM

Samurott, Zoroark and Lilligant are quite good. But, an epic pokemon's sprite has to be epic with it. SEED BBY SPRITE FTW!

Ho-Oh February 15th, 2011 7:08 AM

Hang on, lemme c/p that Kyurem image.

I think we all know what Kyurem got inspiration from. D;
I just hate the stance of Kyurem really, and the arm--okay if it looks stronger I could possibly overlook its other flaws. It's still sexy though.

I don't see a resemlance between Kyurem and Cranidos. Like its counterparts, Reshiram and Zekrom, Kyurem is based on yin and yang, or rather the absence of it (wuji). It does look a little like Zekrom, though.

Really? D: But they're both bent over and have short arms and the same angle kinda opposite... the poses! D: I just think their designs are similar, making them ~similar~ in design. I wish Crimgan stole someone else's design. Not saying it has something to do with the trio, though. XD Cause obv Kyurem fits within this trio.

^ This. Basing on the typing difference as well, Kyurem is hardly like Cranidos. However I see where you may be getting the resemblance from, the color scheme is slightly similar as well as positioning. But moreover, it most likely wasn't thought of from Cranidos, and moreover of the above. :o

Ho-Oh February 15th, 2011 4:44 PM

As I said, it's only similar in design. Kyurem as a creature, well, story wise and Pokemon wise, other than the design is similar to nothing else. Except Zekrom/Reshiram. :x I was just noticing that a few current Pokemon have poses similar to past-gen Pokemon, and wondering whether they got inspiration for poses / designs actually from them - nothing to do with the actual Pokemon.

Palkia February 16th, 2011 11:36 AM

These are some of my favorites.

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/494.pngThis and Zekrom are the only legendaries that I like. Victini is just... awesome.

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/495.png Easy pick. Smugleaf Snivy is a great Pokemon all round and has one the most Pokemon-like designs.

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/501.png Everything I've said about Snivy applies to Oshawott.

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/548.pngSimplicity is the reason why I like some of the Generation V Pokemon. This is just so basic, that's why it's so great!

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/559.png The concept is just brilliant. A lizard with PANTS? I'm sold. Shame that it sprite sucks.

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/582.pnghttp://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/583.pnghttp://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/584.pngI LOVE this entire line. I don't see why pepole hate on this evolution branch. :(

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/596.pngAnother pokemon that I love because of the concept.

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/610.pnghttp://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/612.png
Another great evolution line with some good progression. Didn't include Fraxure because it is terrible.

http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/614.pngFINALLY A POLAR BEAR POKEMANS!!!!

All the other Pokemon I just downright hate or am not a big fan of.

King Gumball February 16th, 2011 12:44 PM

I see the resemblance between Cranidos and Kyremu. Their legs are the same colour and shape, they are both bent over and have the short arms with almost identical nails.

They are onky similar in some of the features, but it actually reminds me of Giratina origin forme... idk why though, they look nothing like each other. But that is just what I think of when I look at Kyremu :/

Ho-Oh February 17th, 2011 1:19 AM

KG, it's the faces. Well, eyes especially. Giratina and Kyurem's eyes are... really similar, sorta. I guess Kyurem really does have a lot of inspiration from generation 4. :(

Also yay everyone loves Galvantula.

Pokemon Trainer Touko February 17th, 2011 1:30 AM

I don't really mind about the designs of the Legendaries. But I simply cannot stand the evolution of the little bin bag Pokemon- it's..... ugly~ XP

Rai February 17th, 2011 2:37 PM

I seem to be one of the only people who don't like Scraggy. I dunno, I just think it's ugly and not cute at all. But out of curiosity... why is it wearing pants? O.o

rocky505 February 17th, 2011 3:50 PM

Stoutland's extremely long stache hurts my love for the line but I still love the Lillipup line.

Same here...
I wish it's face was more like arcanine's...

Zelda February 17th, 2011 4:39 PM

Lillipup's evolution line is probably not the best out of them all, but I like it. Sure the last evolution is a bit overdone, but hey. I would take Stoutland over Probopass from Gen IV that's for sure. XD; My comparison is odd, but they are both overdone Pokémon in the design factor which happens in every generation either way.

It and Scrafty are supposed to be based on urban youth subcultures. That alone is the reason why a lot of people (me included) like them.

Ho-Oh February 17th, 2011 5:11 PM

I love Scraggy after it was in my sig for a while. Its evolution isn't awesome though, it's just "there", whereas Scraggy stands out more. It didn't need an evolution.
