Sandslash or Excadrill
So which do you prefer bewteen the two little, ground-digging pokemon? |
I like Sandslash better. It looks awesome and I adore its anime voice.
I definitely like Excadrill over Sandslash. It's hits harder and faster than Sandslash can, and has a much better design than Sandslash because it can turn itself into a drill. I also like it because Iris has one (although it's disobedient).

At least thats how I see it doing its rapid spin...? |
I've liked Sandslash for a long time because Sandshrew is the cutest thing on earth and Sandslash simply is badass. ...but, Excadrill is more badass, stronger, looks cooler, and is better overall.
Edge? Excadrill. |
Hmm, lets see...the pure-ground or the strongest Steel type to date with Ground to boot, not to mention extremely fast, and resistances...
Sorry, Sandslash. Excadrill is pretty much better than you in all ways. |

Excadrill has a much better design IMO. I've always found Sandslash really bland and boring, never used one and never plan to. But I think I'll try an Excadrill when I get White. :)
I love both of them, but nostalgia gives Sandslash a bit of an edge.
Agreed with the above. Maybe because I know nothing at all about Black and White, but seeing Sandslash brings back so many memories of my first encounter with Pokemon when I was a wee lad. :) Nostalgia is a big up!
Most positively Sandslash. Better design and I've used one in game and he is awesome(: |

Like both of jumping from holes in the ground and lunging at each other. It will be like a battle between GenV and GenI the new and the old,the current and the original! It will be EPIC!lol |
Excadrill has Sand Throw, Sandslash has...Sand Veil.
Excadrill > Marowak > Sandslash. Except in Gen I, where there wasn't Thick Club, Sandslash was better (but still not fantastic). |
Ugh, Excadrill has too much unnecessary garbage on it, while Sandslash looks like something you'd actually find in nature in the real world. Sandslash also has more realistic features as well. Personally, I prefer simpler Pokemon that strongly resemble animals. Not to mention that Sandslash was, is, and always will be my bro.
i love sandslash's design but excadrill is part steel and has better moves than sandslash. excadrill for sheer power
definitely Excadrill. Sandslash was meh to begin with, and Excadrill has that new pokemon smell. Besides, I like Excadrill's design best. Sandlash is boring at best.
Excadrill. I just don't see the appeal of Sandslash whatsoever, and Excadrill just looks bad-ass.
I had a Sandslash once. It sucked. :| While it's a nice looking Pokemon, Excadrill looks nice (though I don't like the drill above its head... it looks weird) and is strong. So I'm going for Excadrill. :)
Excadrill. Has Ground-and-Steel type, is fastest thing in game with Sandstorm up and Sand Rush as ability, is very powerful, and just looks plain BADASS.
Sorry, Sandslash. You just can't compete. |
Sandslash. Exadrill looks like a overly complex Digimon than, as Kirbychu said, looks unnatural.
Why Sandslash and Excadrill? ;o They have nothing in common \:
Anyway, I'm a competitive boob so I'ma go for Exca cause' he's super beasty in a sandstorm, Sandslash is the master of UU sandstorm but Exca just owns Uber and OU sandstorm n_n |
Excadrill, it has better typing (I love steel) and I prefer its design, although I haven't played it yet.
Sandslash all day, Excadrill looks like it's wearing a suit. Ew.
Excadrill, never really liked Sandslash. Plus Excadrill looks a lot better.
I like both designs, but I prefer more hard edge Pokemon, so I'll go with Excadrill.
