Well, it depends on your Dream Points. Go to the main global link page and where you login, click "profile" on the second tab that area offers, you'll see something saying your current Dream Points. You can't get to the next area, (Windswept Sky) until you reach 2500 points. An easy way to get there is to play the mini-games of every Pokemon you see and your Dream Points will rise rapidly. Then soon you'll be able to access the next area, and so on for the Sparkling Sea (5000). After 7500 and 10000 new Pokemon appear in each area, so it'll take a while but it's worth waiting for. You can also get more points if you visit other people's areas, so in the top corner in front of your house you'll see Dream Pal Map. Click that and travel to the other usernames you see, going to their gardens and watering their berries.

Oh and once you unlock new areas, you can always access them by going to the Island of Dreams as normal. :)

So, apparently once you reach the end of Victory Road, you're supposed to battle Cheren. After that, you can battle him once a day.

Trouble is, Cheren was never there to greet me on my way out of Victory Road.

What happened?

Because you need to beat the Elite Four first (yeah I didn't battle Cheren in my three playthroughs at all on my way to e4 other than in route 10), then go to Route 5 where you can speak to him and he says he wants to make a change and decides to hang out in Victory Road to train.

Can less than 6 Pokemon be transferred from a Gen IV game to a Gen V game? Or does the amount to be transferred have to be exactly 6?

(talking about the PokeTransfer)

Weavile05 September 13th, 2011 3:21 PM

It has to be 6 unfortunately. And they can't know any HM moves.

This is only partially true. While you must choose six Pokémon to participate in the minigame, you aren't required to catch all of the Pokémon. If you only want to transfer say, 4 Pokémon, catch the ones you want in the minigame and let the timer run out. The four you caught will be transfered and the remaining two will not be transfered and remain on the 4th gen game iirc.

Does Wake-Up Slap get a boost from sheer force?
EDIT: Nevermind, just found out it doesn't.

This might've been asked already.
Does anyone know if dream world ATTACKS (not their abilities) can be passed down through breeding?

That's only if the DW attack is listed in the offspring Pokemon's list of egg moves. For example, Dream World Vulpix has Dark Pulse as its DW attack; you can breed it with a female Zorua so the baby Zorua has Dark Pulse

GTS Hack Checking Help??

Didn't know where this goes, so if it need to be moved, please do so!!
Ok, I want to learn how to GTS hack check, but am having problems, just getting it set up, after I put in the primary DNS #'s it gives me an "invalid" message after I click the save settings button??
Any help will do!!

greg0915 September 14th, 2011 7:17 PM

  • Go to Internet settings in the DS options
  • Change the Primary DNS to this DNS: 088.191.118.153 and Save
  • Go to GTS, deposit the pokemon you want checked and this message should appear saying 13266 (this means the pokemon's data has been sent to this website)
  • Click on the pokemon to find out all the info

~RNC~ September 14th, 2011 7:20 PM

I get an error message when I click save settings??
So I cannot do that.

greg0915 September 14th, 2011 7:36 PM

Hmmm.... i haven't come across this problem before :\ do you have anying insered into your secondary DNS?

~RNC~ September 14th, 2011 7:39 PM

No it says 0.0.0.0
Maybe 1 more 0, not sure!!

greg0915 September 14th, 2011 7:40 PM

Ok, are you editing a Wi-Fi setup that already works?

~RNC~ September 14th, 2011 7:44 PM

Nope, I went in and erased them all before I even tried it, just like the pics showed, I am using a ds lite and did have my firewall turned of!!

greg0915 September 14th, 2011 7:48 PM

Hmmm.... when i set it up i used an already working setup and just changed the Primary DNS, maybe that'll work. Well I'm off to bed now (4:47 AM here) i'll check back tomorrow and see how you got on, good luck ;)

I've merged it into Quick Questions since your issue isn't solved yet, but just a warning, in your previous thread, Sydian said to post it in the help threads which is what you should've done. Any further questions belong here, kay?

So I just beat the E4, N and Ghetsis. I've traversed into the post-story, and I'm finding that may of the NPC trainers have Pokemon level 65 and over.

My party is in the 50-56 range, so how in the hell am I supposed to compete with these trainers without grinding on wild Pokemon? If I'm not missing something here to train my Pokemon to a competitive level, then the developers kind of screwed up, considering every guide I have read says my Pokemon should be at least level 56 by this point. What's the deal?

I guess because they want it to be a "challenge" to you, as in, you can get through with your Pokemon at 56 but it'll be a struggle. Your best bet is to train to about 65 (wild Audino grinding, they're at a high level and use Heal Pulse + Simple Beam a lot so you get lots of exp post-game without worrying about whether they'll beat you or not) where you should safely be able to beat most trainers you face.

Where can I find these Audinos, by chance?

Go to any route with grass post-game (for the stronger Audino), run up and down until grass shakes, and boom there's Audino :)

(watch for other rare ones though, like other ones that only appear in the shaking grass too :x)

Neil Peart September 15th, 2011 11:13 AM

Do I have to run in the grass for the shaking parts to appear? Or alongside?
