Carracosta >_>. Nice defence but just kept on dying from all those fast special attacks. If not for his Study ability he would be OHKOed.

Tox March 21st, 2011 1:44 PM

My entire team
Seriously though, I can't seem to click with any team. Everything I catch seems to faint immediately so I end up ditching them out of frustration. I'm still training on early routes but my Pokémon aren't doing their job. D:

The main Pokémon for me was Liepard. Mine had a Jolly nature and high IVs but it was still unbearably weak. I really hate it since I spent so much time trying to make it better, lol. Others include Blitzle, Pansear, Dewott, Timburr, Cottonee and Drilbur (though I'm still using the last two). I've actually been forced to trade online in order to get a Ducklett. It's probably my best Pokémon though I don't really like it. x)

Keizar March 21st, 2011 2:46 PM

Same as BinaryPeaches, i had a hard time training Blitzle up untill it evolved, it just kept dieing so much, i really was so close to just giving up on it, and put in back into the computer and get something else.

Funny thing tho, when i got it to level 32 or so, i actually threw it in the computer anyway, since i wanted to change my team a bit, to be better overall.

Sydian March 21st, 2011 2:55 PM

I've trained a little less than half of the Unova Pokemon, and I gotta say...damn. lol It's awful at first, I'm telling ya. Drilbur was horrible til I finally got it to evolve at 31. Don't get me started on Liepard/Purrloin and Minccino though, omg. I ditched them in White because DYING. ALL THE TIME. I'm ditching Swoobat for Elgyem/Beheeyem in Black because...well, those stats are atrocious and Swoobat was meant to be a placeholder anyway. But for a while, I considered keeping it around, but I spoke too soon. It started to suck afterwards.

Pokemon Trainer Touko March 21st, 2011 3:04 PM

The pre evolution of vanilluxe and hiyappu. They took me forever to train. -_-

Ho-Oh March 21st, 2011 3:12 PM

At the moment...probably Deino. A lot of Pokemon around high levels from the wild are really hard to train and it's actually easier if they're weaker, it's so illogical, lol.

mochilicious March 21st, 2011 3:41 PM

My Blitzle's actually doing pretty well. I think at the moment, it'd have to be my Woobat; she can't take many hits at all and I basically only leave her out there when she has type advantage.

Saryka March 21st, 2011 4:13 PM

For me, it would have to be Yamask. I train mainly by knocking out a bunch of Audino, and since Yamask only learn Ghost-type moves for the longest time, it could never hurt the Audino. :/ I had to use Exp. Shares and switch it out with other Pokémon for it to gain experience and it just took too long. Furthermore, although it had high defenses, its attacking stats weren't fantastic, and I never had too much of a use for it on my teams. I switched it for a Litwick and I've never looked back since.

^ This. Liepard is a pain in the butt to train, and is easily outclassed by Zoroark.

LadyDae March 21st, 2011 5:24 PM

I gave up on my Liepard at level 29 and my Zebstrika got booted out after the elite four. They just weren't working on my team. I instead traded and ev trained gible from my plantinum and evolved it into a powerful garchomp.

But yeah, I didn't have the patience to deal wit Liepard. I agree that Gothorita is difficult, but so is Gothiselle. She had low attack and low special Attack for a psychic, but her special defense is awesome so I'm keeping her around.

Tyrantrum March 21st, 2011 5:28 PM

My Yamask was really hard to train. I guess some ghost types are had to train. :\

JooJoobs March 21st, 2011 8:15 PM

For me Yamask was actually pretty easy to bring up.. right now its this Meinfoo thats giving me so much trouble. If his first move doesn't take them out he normally dies if he gets hit by a move, unless its not very effective of course

MegaSlowBro. March 21st, 2011 8:25 PM

I gave up on my purrloin since it was holding my team back Dx I was having a hard time with blitzle too, but after I caught another one if performed much better xD usually became my finisher, but now its my backup in case a lot of my team faints

mysticjoshgaming March 21st, 2011 9:04 PM

my duosion which is now a reuniclus and my pawniard now a bisharp.

Pwnyta Jockey March 21st, 2011 9:06 PM

i only had issues with Pidove and Tynamo.

Left Purrloin in the Daycare. by the time i had noticed I could breed, it was up to Lv38 when I went to collect. I just opted to Quick Ball a Liepard though.

インフェルノの津波 March 21st, 2011 10:02 PM

Believe it or not, Samurott. After I beat Skyla, I got sick of it's poor type coverage and got myself a Carracosta.

King Gumball March 21st, 2011 10:16 PM

Well all my team, seeing as how fast Archeops moves up the levels XD Archeops levels so easily, so my team are always trying to catch up. But mainly my Musharna, it levels up so sloww. I will give it the Lucky Egg after Litwick evolves.

lamby101 March 22nd, 2011 4:13 AM

Purloin was the same for me, gave up when it got to level 12 I think.

To be honest anything with a low attack stat I find difficult, purely because it takes a few moves to knock something out, leaving the other pokemon with the opportunity to do some damage, resulting in a lot of trips to the poke centre.

Archer March 22nd, 2011 4:15 AM

If you're having trouble levelling up an un-evolved pokemon, the Eviolite can make a huge difference.

Blitzle again here. I gave up on it at lv 16 though, lol.

Shorty- March 22nd, 2011 5:27 AM

So far my Liepard is my hardest to train... but i am sticking with it. Not giving up at all.

TheGoddessOfDiscord March 22nd, 2011 5:42 AM

Training Tynamo was really hard. Low defenses made sure that she'd faint every other minute and her attacks didn't do much damage either.
But now she's a Eelektrik. It was worth it.

Alternative March 22nd, 2011 5:44 AM

I found Vanillite hard to train. When I caught it, I'm all like "om nom nom ice cream" and I thought it would be fun, but nope. It's a complete ass to train, and I didn't like training it, even if it was only for one level. I then ditched that Vanillite for Sigilyph.

jynx March 22nd, 2011 5:57 AM

Why Liepard?
It has poor stats! It's not the only Pokemon with fake out neither.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I found Monozu an entire nightmare to train.
Due to its ability, it keeps missing the opponent, and it takes forever to evolve into hydreigon...
That's why I didn't catch Vanillite. I got my Vanilluxe by catching the middle evolution.
That way it's far better to train.
When I started training it, it fainted very frequently, and I decided to just give it an Exp. Share because it wasn't worth trying to train. Once it got to the higher levels, it got more HP, and I was able to pretty much 1-hit KO the Dragon-type Pokemon in Iris' (Drayden's if you have Black) gym. Still, my Vanillish is hard to train and I still have the Exp. Share on it.
This. Icecreamcone was very hard to train for me because of its defense. I got it up to level 44, didn't use it at all in the E4 first-go-round, and then boxed it. Then I just traded it over to my boyfriend's game so he could use it for the dragon gym. He's using it now that it evolved into doublescoop, but I'm not sure of its fate post Victory road.
ISA56 2.0 March 22nd, 2011 9:32 AM
Agggh! Tynamo is being a pain in the ass to level up. It can't fight anything around Route 7 (or 8) without fainting, so I have to keep switching the darn thing out. This Pokemon better be worth training!
