I honstly don't see why people have trouble with Ghetsis. I personally found N to be the harder fight to deal with, since I almost lost against him. My pokemon were ranging from 48-52 at the time though...
Also, most of the trainers with the 20+ level pokemon after the E4 didn't really give me much trouble either... except for one guy and his freakin' Lapras. It hit me with 5 Sheer Cold's in a row... |

I'm amazed that people don't seem to realize that his dragon is seriously under leveled...they should be REJOICING that it wasn't level 64 Ice Breath>Critical Hit>One Hit KO for me And Cynthia actually scared me as soon as you step into her house, you hear that epic piano...since my team was ten levels weaker then hers, I'm glad you could say "No" to her battle now, if only we could do the same against trainers... |
I'm glad someone else has noticed the ridiculous number of critical hits the computer trainers seem to score. Honestly, the only times my Pokemon have ever fainted in Black and White have been through ridiculous crits. It's actually fairly rare for me to fight a trainer with 3 or more Pokemon without being critted at least once.

i beat ghetsis first time he wasn't to hard but hes got tough pokemon!!! a few of the victory road trainers stuck out as being particularly hard but they were easily put in their place by my pokemon :-)

I was scared since I was just wandering around, but yeah, thank god for the No option. My hardest battle was Elesa. Stupid Emolga alternating with Volt Switch. And yeah, this time trainers are more unchallenging than the previous one. I never had trouble with the E4 + N + Ghetsis. (・_・ ) ( ・_・) Smiley post count: 9 |

Ghetsis was the pain for me. It was mainly because I didn't have a Fighting or Ice move to take down that Hydreigon of his the first time around, and when I could've won I blacked out because I attacked instead of healed. Should have healed. xD;
Second time was easier though, thanks to Reuniclus and my awesome idea of teaching it Focus Blast. Best choice I made in that game. ;^; |
Ghetis and N were fairly easy for me...since all my pokemon were faster than his pokemon...
Shauntal, and Caitlin were by far the most hardest ones I've faced so far... |
Ghetsis with his Hydreigon.. I beat him the first time but it was a pain.
|
N>Ghetsis
It was probably because 1. I chose not to use Zekrom against N 2. Ghetsis' Hydreigon (after KOing my scrafty once) missed THREE times with Focus Blast while I was healing Scrafty back up and switching it back in. |

O__O Caitlin was pretty easy. Ghetsis' Hydreigon was easy for me! *pets my beautiful Piloswine with Blizzard* |
On my second run-through of pokemon Black...Ghetsis, though the only hard part of him was Hydreigon.
Cynthia....not so much; I was able to sweep her entire team with my lvl 85 Lilligant. |

Did you hax? |
The people that were really annoying was Ghetsis and Cynthia because with Ghetsis I keep on dying with his hydreion and with Cynthia I keep dieing with lucario and garchomp that had powerful attacks but I managed to defeat them.
|
I was going to say Ghetsis, but I just remembered this one Battle Subway battle. I was doing Doubles, and he completely swept my team with a Bouffalent. I was literally swearing at my DSi.
|
Ghetsis without a doubt. This was the FIRST time my samurott died even though he was level 58 , dang you hydreigon!! His hydreigon and seismitoad had really high defense. I had to use swords dance 2-3 times just to OHKO him lol xD

It may sound a little stupid but i'd say the first gym. I chose Snivy as a starter and got through the game quite well until the first gym. My Snivy was at level 16, a very strong start for gym challenges as far as i know. I fought against Chili and never won until i blacked out several times. I came up with a strategy by using growth all the way up till the max during the fight with Lilipup and that pretty much did the trick.
P.S I didn't know i could get a Panpour as a gift until later after the gym battles. XD |
My hardest battle was with Ghetsis. I did beat him first go but it was a fair old grind. I used so many hyper potions, revives and 3 max revives. I was relived when it ended.
In my opinion though, it wouldn't of been that hard if I had my Krookodile in my team at the time. |
I guess my hardest battle was when I was facing Clay when I started out with Tepig on Pokemon White, because well, normally I would now of had a Lilligant by then, but...no, I wanted it to learn better moves, and his Excadrill outsped and OHKO'd my Pignite because I didn't let it stay in against his Palipotoad, whiiiiich normally I would of used flame change and get the speed boost. D=
So, Excadrill was a little tricky to beat, but, other than that, everyone one else weren't to bad of a challenge. |
Definitely Cheren in one of our early battles. I was grinding my team like crazy and they were all fainted. Panpour was the only one healthy enough to battle.
Anyways, two Work Up's and 2 super potions later I set up a sweep. |

For me, Ghetis was a huge chump. So was the Elite Four the first time around and N. I was underleveled and still pwnt them in the face. My worst battle came when in regard to Cynthia. Man, I thought she was strong in Platinum, here, she litterly OHKO half my team. I was BARELY able to beat her. I have to be glad that her Dragon Rush on my Samurott missed and I got in two ice beams to 2HKO her Garchomp. When I see her Garchomp, it makes me miss the little guy. I must say some may think my team is kinda bad because I use two dragons. Lol.
Team: Samurott Infernape Electivire Hydreigon Haxorus (probably will replace with Garchomp later) Staraptor |
Ghetsis was my hardest battle in the game by far. All of my Pokémon were underlevelled and his Hydreigon simply KO'ed all of my Pokémon. I used like 10 revives, 20 hyper potions and like 10 full restores. Luckily my Excadrill was a bit overlevelled, so I managed to beat him in the end. (Excadrill only had like 20 HP left after the battle though)
My second hardest battle must be Elesa. She knocked out my entire party like 20 freaking times. I was about to throw my DS. ._. But managed to beat her in the end, god I was happy. The next time I'm going to play through the game, I'm gonna make sure my Pokémon aren't underlevelled and that I have the correct type advantages against the different gym leaders. I never really expected Black & White to be this much harder than the previous games. |
