I guess Elisa did cause me a little trouble. I had my Krokorok and he managed to take out one Emolga and her zebra... but then I got paralyzed on her last Emolga and it managed to get 4 Double Teams. Oh, I thought I was going to lose so bad... Since, you know, the game favors the computer with paralyzation...
|
The hardest battle was battling the fourth gym leader. It was hard because she kept using volt switch and spark that kept parlyzed me.
|
Dennis's Hydrogeion made it one of the most difficult battles for me. =/
All the trainers post-game wasn't a problem. Most of them are NFE, the Altaria and Abomasnow were meh though. |
A wild Pokémon on the first route :p I've yet to play the game properly.

Cheren, Cheren, Cheren....Am I the only one who's finding him to be a royal pain? My lv. 54 Serperior can KO every other pokemon of his without any damage and then he brings out his Emboar, lv.45.....No matter what stratagies I try, he always KO's my poor Serperior in 2 hits with flamethrower...My lv.44 Lampent gets KO'd by assurance no matter when I bring it out...I feel like such a horrible trainer. Cheren has literally made me go broke. Curse you Cheren. *imagines throttling Cheren*

The hardest battle by far was my battle with Clay. At first, I was hoping to solo his team with my Level 34 Snivy. His Krookowhatever used Bulldoze and made my Snivy slow :(. I didn't really have enough time to use Growth or else his 1st pokemon wouldn't KOed me anyway. And then when Excadrill came, I could only land 2 hits on it before Snivy fainted. I actually had to teach my Zebstrika Rock Smash so I could get rid of the health that was left of Excadrill. Then I sent out my Duosion and KOed his Palpitoad.

The hardest battle for me was definitely Aloe (The second gym). Too embarrassed to say how many times it took me to finally defeat her. |
Um...not to sound rude or anything...but how exactly does ANYONE lose to at least the first three gyms?
Mind you, I overtrain my teams (I had Dewott, the fire monkey and Purrloin's evolution) roughly level 20 by the time I got to the first gym buy Potions, use leer, growl and Sand attack, they add up over time! |
Ghetsis Dennis. His Elektross could 2KO all of my pokemon, and I ended up reviving pokemon each turn until it KOed itself with wild charge. Same with Buffalon's Afro Break attack. Oddly, I had no trouble with Hydrogen or (whatever its called)
EDIT: also with one of my White ROMs, I got stuck on the 1st gym :/ |

It was only on my third playthrough that I had issues with Aloe(2nd gym) and that was because of my selection of Pokemon I think. |
The first gym was very hard. Lillipup and Pansage were rather high leveled, and my team weak against them. Pansear was worthless against anything, so I had to grind.
|
Chern the battle on victory road. His i couldn't kill his seurpier at all. I used zebrastrika flame charge but it did no damage. After 2 losses i just went back and bought the blizzard tm and won.

My hardest battle was against Charles in Driftveil City, the first Triple Battle. My pokemon were in all the wrong positions, and i almost got wasted. Not quite as fun as I though they would be.
|
For me it had to be Ghetsis.. his Hydreigon just wiped my team had to battle him three times. The third after I trained back in Victory Road.
|
Skyla was extremely hard to beat with my level 40 Zebstrika.
I'm being sarcastic. |
Ghetsis' Hydrogeion ripped my team to shreds. The battle against him was the only one that I had to restart, except for maybe the second gym battle. I decided to teach Brick Break to a couple of Pokémon after getting ripped to shreds in the first match, but it didn't help at all, since they got 1-hit-KOed before they could attack. I beat him the second try with mostly luck. The gym leaders and Elite 4 were the easiest to beat of any game I've played. I 1-hit-KOed through a couple of them, I think Skyla and Iris, using Zebstrika and Haxorus. I used Archeops against Iris' Druddigon, since Haxorus was having trouble dealing with the ones before hers. I also used Archeops to 1-hit-KO through Marshal's team. Caitlin gave me a lot of trouble, however. N wasn't that hard for me to beat, especially compared to the trouble Ghetsis gave me.
|
Ghetsis - totally much higher in power level than the E4 or N
|
Ok, so the only person i ever blacked out on was... Cilan! That dang Ba----- killed me with his stupid Lillipup. I actually had no problem with Ghetsis and N. Ghetsis scared me when he came bursting in tho... I think my Samurott swept his whole team tho.

Cynthia in Undella Town. Stupid Garchomp...
