What do you think about the electric notice boards?
When you walk between two routes sometimes, or a city to a route, you may pass through a gate which features a moving notice board containing information that may be useful to trainers. This could include where the roaming legendaries are or swarms even. When you step right in front of one and click it, the screen will change angle and you'll get a better view.
What do you think of these - do you consider them to be a useful way to convey information or do you ignore them? Or do you just consider them to be an interesting feature but you don't care about them? |
I thought that they were a nice little addition to the games. I don't find them particularly useful myself, but I always look at them whenever I have the opportunity. The camera angle and the graphics themselves look really nice. :D
they look cool. I only watched the first 3 or 4 then I just started to skip them.
Probably one of my favorite features in the game, it makes you feel like as time goes bye, technology is really advancing.
But I kinda liked it cause it told the world that you beat the gym leader you just fought beforehand. |
I think it was a nice idea, but I don't find them particularly useful. The neatest thing about them, though, is that it makes me feel like the Pokemon world is growing in the technology field just as much as the real world. I mean, you would have never have seen something like that in Kanto or Johto! I watched the first two, though, and then never really bothered looking at one again.
I find them useful for Pokemon outbreaks and etc,for what is actually happens but sometimes it's not useful when you see stuff about the daycare.
I can't be bothered to look at then, but I guess it's a pretty cool feature.
I dont find them that interesting or usefull. The town map is more usefull its got everything you need to know.
I usually only look at for the swarms, apart from that I don't spend much time looking at them.
They aren't really that useful except for the Pokemon Outbreak notices. Other than that I think they are mostly there for... a touch of realism I would guess, like the electric signs at airports.
I really like the electric notice boards. I like reading them for info about the weather and what is going on in the different places. I like how it tells you what different things are in the different towns too!
It's a nice addition but I much preffered it when we were told which pokemon was swarming like in older games.
I try to avoid going on sites like Serebii to find out but sometimes it's the only way to know if you've caught the swarming pokemon. |
They're pretty cool, but they move too slowly for me and I just ignore them.
i really like them its quite nice knowing where the swarms are when u are just out training. i find myself standing at them everytime i pass to read what its saying
Actually, sometimes they let me know what to expect in the near future, so once in a while I stop and read them.
Good for swarm information. It beats having to fly to a specific location just to find out like the previous games so it's useful. Other than that not useful. They probably need more time events to abuse it more.
They are decent and a nice idea, but I stopped looking at them when I passed the 3rd city. |
I like this feature, but I don't use it often. Except maybe for Swarms.
Plus, my name's on it. XD |
Found them to be rather distracting. Useful for swarms I guess.
I don't mind it. Haven't really used them yet.
I thought they were a cute addition, but after the first playthrough, I don't both looking at them anymore.
I think they are one of those nice little features, and it's cool that the swarms are on there every day. The process of tracking down the roaming legendaries with the notice boards is a bit tedious in my opinion though, since they move when you enter and exit the gates.
I love them! I think they're really cool! They give the game a realistic feel.
I like them. Every time I go past one I'll watch it for a while, see what it has to say, slow down for a moment and take a bit of a break. Although it's a bit odd that the weather tends to be Sunny at night. Perhaps "Clear" would have been a better choice of words.
I don't use them as much as I used to when I started...I think they could have added more things to make the more useful like it could have been used for a 20 % sales cut on the Pokestores or something...
I like the feature. When I started the game I looked at everyone. I continued this until I had read everyone of them in the game. Now though I only really use them to see about swarms and what not. But still I think of it as a better idea for information then other generations.
They're pretty interesting (graphics and tech stuff is cool), but it goes too slow. I feel like I waste time just sitting there waiting for the screen to continue scrolling (I read pretty fast). But still, I do go to every one I see.
I don't really find them as useful as I thought I would...
First time I saw them, they looked pretty fun. I mean, I like how the camera changes and stuff like that. I've been trying to use them to get info on the mass outbreaks, but nothing yet so far. Still, they are pretty nifty; kinda of nice touch to the lookout stations I guess.
I like them and I think they are a pretty neat addition. Not only do they look cool, but they also provide info on swarms and the roaming legendary! Sometimes, I can't help but stop and take a look at them every now and then.
There were a nice touch, I guess, but it seems to me that they were just added to show off how high tech Unova was. :p Well, if you're playing Black.. there are all these forests in White...
Pokemon outbreaks, yay! Also roaming legendaries, yay! Yeah, I like the bulletin boards. They're so . . . nifty.
I didn't pay much attention to them. But the first time I saw one, I thought it was cool. Pretty nifty during spring break when I didn't know what the date was. XD;
I never bother to look at them.
I looked at one once and that was it. While they're handy for remembering what the date is, I haven't yet found a use for them. Once I get farther along in the plot, I will.
I think they're quite useful post-Poke League, because they tell where the Mass Outbreak takes place. I sometimes go trough the lookout stations just to see if Mass Outbreak would take place in Route 8 (I WANT A CROAGUNK!!!). But it never does...
I saw my first one and was really impressed. I played all the way through Diamond and Pearl, but never got far in Platinum or HG/SS, but i was pretty certain these were knew. And I like how it tells you the weather of all the places associated with that route. makes strategy a little easier.
There a nice touch. It makes it look technologically cool.
The electric bulletin boards are nice additions, but I don't take the time to read them all the way through.
