IronTrapinch April 6th, 2011 6:40 AM

don't they work while held unlike Full Heals though?

Eurydice April 6th, 2011 7:05 AM

its disappointing that they arent sold in winter.
i never knew they could be sold out either. i always got one everytime i went there.

big NATE alpha April 6th, 2011 7:22 AM

Darn, I kept forgetting on Tuesdays, and now it's Winter! I'll just buy some next month then.
I like them for the novelty.

danno 507 April 6th, 2011 7:28 AM

Didnt know it even existed xD
Must give it a look see. What day should you go on??

ѕℓσωвяσ April 6th, 2011 8:44 AM

Tuesdays, but sadly you can't in Winter. :(

The_Noob April 6th, 2011 7:19 PM

You know what would be funny? If in Grey/Gray/Rainbow they make Chocolate Casteliacones that function as a reskinned Sacred Ash. Now that would be kickass.

Noob out.

Palkia April 6th, 2011 11:04 PM

It's winter now, and I keep forgetting to go there on Tuseday. It's a bit stupid how they are just a glorified full heal, so I won't bother with getting one unless I really have nothing else to do.

IronTrapinch April 7th, 2011 6:12 AM

I think it's more like a Lum Berry, just like the Chocolates are more like glorified berry juice.

both food that activates while held.

Osha_say_wott?! April 30th, 2011 1:12 AM

Before reading this thread..I didn't know they only sold Castelicones on Tuesdays. D: I was going everyday and kept getting a "They're sold out". One more day and they'll go on sell again. :D ..on Tuesdays.

Ω Ruby and α Sapphire April 30th, 2011 2:08 AM

Quick question. Can you buy more than one on the same day? I thought they were unobtainable any day of the week.

Aura Rift April 30th, 2011 2:21 AM

lol they are real pointless all right, I was so excited to finnaly buy one, but then I saw what it did and I was all like "Dude seriously thats it?" and then to prove a point to myself I went and bought like 300 full heals lol:P

Legendary Silke April 30th, 2011 3:36 AM

Hmm... They can heal status effects in battles and be sold for a good price at Route 5. Though, if you are looking for healing items, Full Heals are better in the sense that they can be bought in batches. Oh, and one Casteliacone per Tuesday in non-winter seasons. That's it. No wonder why it's better to sell it.

As for me? I left it in the bag since I bought them.

West the Hardcore Nerd May 1st, 2011 9:09 AM

They're delicious. They're also made from the salvaged remains of a million slain Vanillite, but at least there's sprinkles.

.......THAT IS IT.I'M MAKING A GROUP.Called "Save The Vanillites".If its made from the poor little pokemon,I feel like sueing them.:(I'm Collecting Casteliacones and Putting them in a Nice Freezer and try to find a cure to somehow bring them back.

Gothitelle. May 1st, 2011 3:29 PM

They heal yer Pokemon bye 50hp points. Suu nuttin speshal hurr. (= =)

Amore May 1st, 2011 3:40 PM

Well, I like them as I'm an OCD guy in his pokémon: I only use regional poké balls (good in Johto, problematic in Hoenn, even worse in Sinnoh), use regional items (Lava Cookie > Full Heal in Hoenn etc.), and consider the Master Ball to be a "Mewtwo Ball" - I only use it on Mewtwo, as that's the only pokémon caught with it in Pokémon Adventures.

So to me, it's a regional item that I always have to have at least one of them in my bag.

No, you can only buy one per Tuesday.

15israellai May 1st, 2011 9:16 PM

I've bought one. That's because I arrived at Castelia on Tuesday, what a coincidence.
I didn't even take a look at it until I saw Bulbapedia saying it looks like Vanillite. Then I found it tasty.
It's quite romantic to me though (perhaps because I read some fan fiction).

ElectricScyther May 2nd, 2011 3:20 PM

Well, they taste pretty good I bet. Shame you can't rip them out of the DS console and eat 'em, though. XD

It's finally Spring and obtainable once again, haha. Though I find it odd they don't serve it during the Winter since they are Casteliacones. o; I guess it's acceptable though, since most people won't serve ice cones outside where it's snowing and all during this time.

Give me Lava Cookies instead. Both do the same thing, but you don't have to wait till Tuesday to buy Lava Cookies. Plus that Lava Cookie isn't gonna melt as easily.

I haven't been bothered to get one at all.

Ah, Lava Cookies. I never really bought them that often, but they bring back memories of Lavaridge Town in RSE for some odd reason. I guess since they both serve the same purpose, it doesn't really bother me that much. I've gotten one or two of Casteliacones though, just for the fun of it. Still I think its just a nice touch for the city.

Heh, I wouldn't be surprised if Japan makes such a thing based off just for the game!

Gulpin May 2nd, 2011 6:34 PM

I think its just a novelty item, and I've only bought one. I also think that the bag has a special ice cream cone holder, either for you Vanilluxe or you Casteliacone.

Solfatara May 3rd, 2011 2:31 PM

I think this cone symbolizes perfectly the obsession we tend to have for nearly insignificant items and products in our own consumer society.
