http://i.imgur.com/FdJz5.pngSummary

Pokémon Blaze Black and Pokémon Volt White are edits of the regular Pokémon Black and White versions which self-contain all 649 Pokémon, allowing a player a large amount of variety. In addition, BB/VW also have edited trainers, an increased difficulty level, improvements to many Pokémon and more. They are the spiritual successor of my two other hacks, Pokémon Fire Red Omega and Pokémon Spirit Gold. Blaze Black and Volt White were also - with one minor exception - the first of their kind to be made.

I should mention that with the exception of things normally different between Black and White such as Black City, White Forest, the legendary focus and the appearance of Opelucid City, the two games are identical.

http://i.imgur.com/mjhbI.pngSpecific Features
  • As aforementioned, the hack allows you to catch all 649 Pokémon in some way or another. This is unaffected by the version chosen to play; encounters are the same in both.
  • Every single trainer in the game has had their Pokémon edited, fitting a new level curve and increasing the difficulty overall. While not mind crushingly tough, they're sure to provide more of a challenge than the original games were able to. The level curve takes full advantage of the new experience system in Black and White.
  • A vast number of Pokémon have had certain statistics about them edited. This can be a number of things, including experience rate, typing, base stats and abilities. A lot of Pokémon have been given their Dream World abilities as an option, where applicable and/or useful.
  • Pokémon have also had additions to their moveset, including additions or alterations to their level up movesets as well as TM and HM compatibility. Level up movesets in particular have been edited for 600+ Pokémon.
  • There has also been editing of many evolutions, generally involving those Pokémon who generally had to be traded to be evolved. Blaze Black and Volt White are entirely self-contained; no outside contact is required for anything.
  • Items found in the field have been changed considerably, to include TMs, evolution items and fossils previously only found post-League. The items have been adjusted in such a way that makes it convenient for the game's progress. Where applicable, text has also been changed to reflect these changes. Multiples of certain items, such as the evolution stones, the Lucky Egg and the EXP Share are also given out, all in the name of convenience.
  • It isn't just trainers and wild Pokémon who have had their levels changed; event Pokémon such as Reshiram and Zekrom have also had their levels changed, ensuring that they don't become useless due to the sharp increase in levels.
  • All five in-game trades have also been edited, giving you new possibilities for your team.
  • A small number of attacks have also been changed to make them more useful, generally in terms of power (and rarely, type).
  • A number of documents are included with the download that allow you to see any and all changes made. Wondering what's new? Where to find something? Consult the guides!
http://i.imgur.com/Z7pxw.pngWhy play Blaze Black and/or Volt White?

With the extra amounts of Black and White hacks cropping up now, Blaze Black and Volt White has lost its main edge in being the only hack of its kind. I'd like to say that it being the first means something, but unfortunately it really doesn't in the long run. The main reason for playing Blaze Black and Volt White would be its dedication to the original games; with one or two exceptions the main Pokémon of a Gym Leader or Elite Four member does NOT change, and themes (including type and general appearance) are kept as best as possible. Things must make some degree of sense, or they won't be found in this hack. Most of the time.

These two also offer some "what ifs?" What if Flareon got Flare Blitz? What if Delibird actually had some stats? What if Weavile was given Technician? What if Gallade had kept Trace? What if the Gothitelle line actually had a Dark-typing? Just how broken would a Dragon-type Serperior with Contrary be? How about a Samurott with Shell Smash? (Between you and me, they are broken as hell!)

The game also tries to have as many Pokémon available early as possible, while still keeping them in appropriate places. There's a couple odd balls that are late such as Torkoal or Stunfisk as they were tough to place, but the majority are available before the sixth badge is up, and the majority of them are available at Nimbasa City or prior.

Blaze Black and Volt White also offer a 'clean' version, which is a relatively blank slate, keeping the 649 hack but eliminating all of the Pokémon changes. This is useful for the purist, and it's something no other hack has, as far as I'm aware.

If you're looking for a challenge designed by someone who thinks they know the Pokémon games in and out (and considering my ridiculous amount of knowledge about them and my three walkthroughs, I certainly hope I do!) then this is the hack to try. If you're looking for an incredibly difficult challenge... I'd recommend a different one. Although this one has its fair share of annoyances, too.

http://i.imgur.com/tGHS5.pngCan I see some screenshots of the hack?
Certainly. Open the spoiler below to see them. These mostly just show some of the first bits; you'll have to play it to see the rest!

  • elementking: It was thanks to him that I even got to start hacking B/W fully in the first place. Without him I probably wouldn't have discovered anything post Wild Pokemon editing.
  • Project Pokémon Forums: The ROM editing help section is a great way to find out if certain ideas are possible, and if so, how. Numerous people on there (as well as being found in other places) have made or stated discoveries that this hack uses, including Andibad, kaphotics and KazoWAR. Kazo in particular can also be thanked for the 1.1a incarnation of the trainer editor, a key tool for making this hack.
  • twistedfatal: His tools help to simplify things significantly, cutting down on the amount of hex editing required.
  • neltazero: His tools are also very helpful and quite easy to use, making Wild Pokemon and trainer editing that much easier.
  • SegNin: It's thanks to him we have the current .bat patching system for this, and by extension for Pitch Black and Pure White.
  • knivez69: The banner up top is his incredible work.
  • Various Members of GBAtemp and GameFAQs: For ideas on additions/changes to make.

Version Clarification
The Full version of the hack is the whole thing; the Wild changes, the trainer changes, the Pokemon changes, the item changes, absolutely everything. The Clean version takes out some of the content, so that the actual Pokemon, their level up moves and attacks are left unchanged. Trainers are edited from their Full version counterparts to clear up any inconsistencies done through adding new techniques in the Full version.

Download
You will need a ROM of Black or White to use the patches found in the downloads, which you will have to find on your own. It must be either English European or American, though.

Seems awesome dude! :D Just wondering, will that release be final? That'd be so awesome :)

blue March 29th, 2011 9:43 AM

Lookin' great! I'll definately be playing this once released, hoping being the date expected (1st April) ~ You don't need any Beta testers do you?

Yeah this will be a final release. I may well add some stuff later but the only thing I'm doing now is testing again to make sure it's all working fine. I've finished everything already~

Glad to hear it. :) I don't no, I'm testing it all pretty thoroughly myself and there's not that much that can go wrong on a hack like this. Thank you for offering though.

Oh ok its still goin 2 be awsome! did u change da starters?

Drayano March 29th, 2011 1:40 PM

No, kept them as Snivy/Tepig/Oshawott since it would look awful without them due to the big sprites and stuff when you pick them. All three are vastly improved though!

suaqua March 29th, 2011 5:02 PM

this looks amazing! can't wait to play

Onmi March 29th, 2011 6:22 PM

Question, not meant as a shot at the hack but... why is Tepigs line Fire/GROUND now? I mean I know why it's not Fire/Fighting because the typings been done to death, but why GROUND? why give it a typing that makes one of the most common typings, Water, even MORE deadly to it, not to mention removing it's 'Not Very Effective' from grass and Ice Attacks? It just seems like a typing that utterly screws it over like Paras being Bug/Grass.

I mean if you really need a Second type there's Dark for an obvious one, Steel if you want to emphasize defensive Wall, OR for a really out there typing, Electric.

Assuming that your trying to balance the 3 starters as Mario (Blaziken) Glass Cannon (Infernape) and Mighty Glacier (Emboar) it does not let Emboar play his alloted roll, he can't tank because he's got terrible typing, he can't hit fast because he's naturally slow and he can't match up to either Blaziken or Infernape.

I mean he already couldn't match up to either of them but that was because he had lower stats not because his typing killed him.

Again just my opinion because Samuwott benefits from the Fighting Typing, Serperior is covered in thick juicy love with the Dragon Typing (x4 Weakness to Ice excluded) but Emboar is just getting screwed over.

No mean to offend, I don't know your reasons behind it just... sounds weird.

Well as it were, Fire/Dark was the original plan for Emboar but after not being able to decide if it REALLY fitted it plus the problem of there being no real Dark moves for it (does it look like it can Crunch?) I chose to go for another typing.

Fire/Fighting has been overdone to death on the starters and out of the remaining types, Ground was really the only one that worked (being a pig and all).

While I do have to agree that Emboar isn't quite as useful as Samurott or Serperior, the addition of Sheer Force does still give it some huge power in the form of Flare Blitz, and the STAB (now level-up) Earthquake helps.

As it is, Serperior and Samurott have some very late level up moves which make them incredible (I'll refrain from saying which for now, but you might be able to hazard a guess...) whereas Tepig gets a boost the whole way through thanks to Sheer Force.

That's pretty much all I can explain. It does suck a bit but Emboar's hard to work with. Just keep it out of the way of Water moves and it is fine, though. I did kinda screw the starter triangle up, but Emboar comes in useful for the main game (particularly Elesa's gym) moreso than it did before... I think :x

Neko Keeshi March 30th, 2011 7:12 AM

omg wow, I've been watching your youtube channel for awhile man, and I can honestly say, I can NOT wait to try Volt White!

Does it matter if we use the Euro version or the US version?

Drayano March 30th, 2011 9:05 AM

...

I don't actually know. :x

I'm using the EUR version but I don't THINK it'll matter.

Neko Keeshi March 30th, 2011 9:23 AM

Ok. I' have the euro versions of both, and when your patches come out, I'll try them. And if they don't work? I'll hunt for a US copy to try them on ;P

blue March 30th, 2011 9:44 AM

It's easy to just download the Europeon version anyway but I don't think it really matters, they're both the same game in the same language (English) just from different areas.

Well those are some good reasons I admit, though I don't see why Sucker Punch isn't seen as the equivilent of Crunch for the Teethly Challenged. I guess it just sucks for Emboar to get the poorest typing, but honestly Infernape made the Fire/Fighting typing near irrelevant in Gen IV so Zhu Bajie was kinda screwed in the long run. Oddly enough it would have been funny to see him as a Fire/Water since Zhu Bajie was noted for being extremely adept in the water compared to Sun Wukong (since Infernape and Emboar are both basically Journey to the West characters) But then it falls under the problem of **** Not Making Sense.

Again, your reasons are sound and I can't really find fault in them minus the Sucker Punch instead of Crunch thing (Except that Sucker Punch has less PP, so I guess that counts as a fatal flaw, and other powerful Dark attacks are SPECIAL not Physical)

suaqua March 30th, 2011 2:53 PM

why not fire normal for emboar? normal is one of the must underated types and if it keeps reckless, it does insame amounts of damage

metalflygon08 March 30th, 2011 8:45 PM

Couldn't Fire/Dark Emboar use these moves
Sucker Punch
Payback
Foul Play
Dark Pulse

Especially Foul Play...

I was discounting Specials because... well Emboar only really learns Flamethrower as a level up Special.

Although to be fair even WITH that limited move pool it's still smacking Gligar and Gliscor away with "**** learned Via Level-Up" Ground/Flying who learns 1 Flying attack and 1 Ground attack, and the Ground Attack is Sand Attack.

Chiar March 31st, 2011 6:26 AM

Isn't 80 Power Struggle Bug way too much? I understand 40 or 50, but 80...
It's actually a powered-up Bug Drill Peck almost at the beggining of the game.
Otherwise, I don't see any more flaws. I might play the game on the Acekard I'm propably getting soon. ^^

Drayano March 31st, 2011 7:43 AM

Coincidentally I did actually give Emboar Sucker Punch in its moveset, and I suppose you have a point with Payback. As it is it's a bit late to change to Fire/Dark at this point considering I'm intending to release this very shortly, but maybe I'll consider it for a future update or something.

Also, Foul Play would be pretty bad for Emboar seeing as it makes its own Attack stat useless~

I don't really like the idea of Fire/Normal, particularly because nothing about Emboar looks remotely Normal. I'll admit it doesn't look to Groundish either, but Pignite really does to me.

Also, that tidbit about Emboar's origins with water are interesting actually. That might explain why it can learn Scald!

As for Struggle Bug being 80 power, it IS very strong, but I really wanted it to actually be useful. Burgh only has two Pokémon that can properly utilize it regardless, so you'll mostly be able to use it for your own needs.

The level curve means your Pokémon will be about Level 30 by the time you get the TM, so I don't think it's too problematic.

blue March 31st, 2011 8:50 AM

Is the release still on for tomorrow? Looking forward to it so just checkin' :)

metalflygon08 March 31st, 2011 8:52 AM

Wait, Foul Play is a base 95 Dark Physical Move that gets more powerful the more your opponent beefs up their Attack, hows that ruin Emboar?

Drayano March 31st, 2011 9:25 AM

Well it isn't ruin so much, but Emboar's 123 base attack goes to waste then seeing as it doesn't use its own attack. I guess it works, I just don't like the move :x

Yeah release is still on, I might well release it sometime after midnight GMT depending on how I'm doing

EDIT: Okay you've won me over, Pignite/Emboar are gonna be Fire/Dark instead

metalflygon08 March 31st, 2011 9:37 AM

Really? I thought the 'opponet's attack' meant like stat boosters, not the actual stat, huh, nowhere really clearly states...

Drayano March 31st, 2011 9:39 AM

Oh right I see. Yeah, what Foul Play does is that it's a regular 95 base move, but rather than using the user's Attack stat to calculate damage it uses the opponent's instead.

metalflygon08 March 31st, 2011 9:41 AM

Ah much more sense, the games should seperate the stat mentions

like saying 'the opponent's Attack' meaning their stat, while 'The opponent's Offense' for the buffers...

why not just change the attack so that it is just a 95 power dark move with a 10% chance of flinch sort of like a dark physical flamethrower?

Awesome stuff, Drayano. But just looking at the information so far, that's a pretty big difference in levels compared to the original games. xD

Okay, fixed the first post now. Those censors screwed a lot of the words up big time >>;

Hope you guys are finding the game fine so far~

pokewalker April 2nd, 2011 4:42 AM

Sadly, I can't play right now... My bro lost his Acekard.

blue April 2nd, 2011 5:12 AM

Can't you play with a ROM?

anugrah6 April 2nd, 2011 5:23 AM

Doesnot Works on RetroGameFan's Multi Card

Onmi April 2nd, 2011 5:23 AM

Well he might be like me with a terrible computer that can't really emulate ANYTHING beyond the GBA era good.

shinx12345 April 2nd, 2011 4:50 PM

This is very impressive!
I have been thinking that...
Okay, wishing that someone would do something like this!
(Also +points for being from Wales!)

FlameEntei April 2nd, 2011 5:12 PM

Care to share with us how did you edit the Wild Pokemon data?

Kamigoroshi April 3rd, 2011 4:24 AM

I'm currently playing Blaze Black and I must say it's a really well done hack. I especially love the new type combinations you've added so far.

My only nitpick at this point would be that Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle are still of the single Psychic type according to the documentation files, while Psychic/Dark would be more fitting for them (considering their descriptions, appearance and move pools).

Drayano April 3rd, 2011 5:47 AM

Thank you~

Yeah, Gothitelle was a bit of a weird thing really. I did consider the Psychic/Dark but for some reason she just doesn't appear Dark to me. I know the colour scheme, goth like look, the movepool etcetera but she just doesn't have that "evil" look to me, like most of the Dark-types do (except for like Absol or something). Granted, it would have made her more useful, so I may consider it for a future update.

NatureKeeper April 3rd, 2011 5:54 AM

Correction: Legendary Trainer Joey sent out TEH EPIC RATTATA.

Nice. I still need to get White first, though. I have to wait 4 days. >.>

KevinSephiroth April 3rd, 2011 6:29 AM

Playing right now. I gathered an Houndour (lv22) Servine my starter (lv 19) Panpour (lv19) and a Pidgey (lv10) so far , and I must say, Lenora is giving me a hard time. Her Herdier with his Work up+Take down (Can't understand why he attacks first with Take down and last sometimes otherwise) ...

Good hack so far !!

Perriechu April 3rd, 2011 6:51 AM

Am I the only one who is having a Black Screen problem? \: D: ;o

suaqua April 3rd, 2011 6:35 PM

great hack! my current team is croconaw (22), volbeat (23), tranquill (27)(love that is is special), croagunk (27), houndour (23), and servine (25). im about to get to Castelia city. if you would like, I would love to make a few edits but lack the skills to do so, would you mind helping me out? (would be editing moves that need boosts (razorwind, submission etc. as well as some of the pokemon types that you did not (gothielle, glalie charizard etc. and some ablilities like breloom to keep poison heal and nidoking to have sheer force)

01 April 4th, 2011 12:13 AM

The patch fails for me. It keeps saying something about an unhandled exception has occurred. Could you help?

No - I 'm having this issue as well. Tried using VoltWhite. Whenever I hit New Game I freeze at a black screen. This is using the Action Replay code to get past the "The save data could not be accessed" error.

01 April 5th, 2011 12:11 AM

The patch doesn't work for me. Could you upload a UPS patch?

Twi$ted $poon April 5th, 2011 3:01 AM

This hack is awesome! Very greatly done!

Neko Keeshi April 5th, 2011 4:50 AM

I'm playing Volt White, I just got my first badge, and I'm loving it so far! I can't wait to try to catch them all @[email protected]

Chiar April 5th, 2011 8:05 AM

Downloaded and now playing on my Acekard. ^^ Really enjoying it!

Drayano April 5th, 2011 8:22 AM

Thank you, everyone. :]

Yeah sure I'll have a go at ups, hopefully that'll work for everyone else D:

IronTrapinch April 5th, 2011 4:50 PM

I know this is a little late, but I noticed you mentioned beefing up Pidgeot, but Crush Claw/ExtremeSpeed and Sky Uppercut would be awsome on it.

doudou1408 April 6th, 2011 9:56 AM

Can you make the same rom with every legendaries ? 1% in wild , or special , and it would be awesome =D

sebbotnik April 6th, 2011 12:42 PM

Can you please make a ups version of the patch, because the patch that I got form the link isn't working for me.

doudou1408 April 6th, 2011 12:46 PM

Patch didn't work for me , i moved files and rom at the root of ma hard disk ( C:\ ) and patch works :)

geox123 April 6th, 2011 4:51 PM

I haven't played this yet, and might not, but let me say this: your presentation, organization, and deliverance is ****ing incredible. You outlined exactly what you changed and made it easy to see. You even released the completed work soon after making the thread; rare to find these days. As a fan hack, this level of professionalism is extremely admirable. I can't stress this enough because I'm working on my own hack of B/W right now, and seeing this makes me want to continue all the more. The hack is essentially yours, but without the changes to the pokemon; I'm aiming for realistic difficulty.

tl;dr: Marry me.

wokkanoodle April 6th, 2011 6:25 PM

Hey this is HarryEricShaun from youtube i dont know if any of you have seen my vids but i have recorded the first four gym battles in blaze black and can happily field questions about problems with the game for example black screen issues...

IronTrapinch April 7th, 2011 6:15 AM

Whoa, Lenora was tough without STAB arm thrusts, I had to go catch some fighting types in Pinwheel forest to beat her.

Chiar April 7th, 2011 7:56 AM

The game is really fun and works well. ^^
My team is currently Lv.27 Simisage, Lv.26 Hitmontop, Lv.22 Linoone and Lv.23 Volbeat.
I just have a little suggestion: You made Carnivine a really strong battler, but it lacks a good moveset. It's really mediocre and I think you could add Leaf Blade, Chip Away, Bullet Seed & maybe Seed Bomb to its moveset and make it learn Crunch earlier.

Drayano April 7th, 2011 8:12 AM

Certainly, I'm working on fixing and adding some stuff now so if you have any suggestions go ahead and say.

I'll probably put it up later (incl. ups patches, assuming they aren't huge in file size)

...That's one of those things that I am really ehhhhhhhhhhhh on. :( I know it'd be good for the PokéDex and whatnot but there's something about it that I really don't like. It just seems... wrong, to have multiples of a legendary like that. I'll see, but I can't 100% guarantee it'll be in the update by any means.

...If only I could edit White Forest D:

doudou1408 April 7th, 2011 8:40 AM

Arf , a special version with legendaries is too hard , or too long to do ? =D

Not a bad idea actually. It won't take THAT long, so I'll see what I can do.

I like the sound of this hack already. ^.===.^ Legendaries, sounds interesting.

suaqua April 7th, 2011 10:32 AM

re: blaze black and volt white

Hey, I have a whole list of suggestions for pokemon and moves etc but I am not currently home. I will post a list of suggestions when I get home. for now, I suggest passing moves like seed flare, volt tackle (luxray and electivire), octazooka (power it up), tail glow (charizard?), grass whistle (boost accuracy to 80), poison tail (make it good), and other "signature moves to other pokemon after seeing if they could use a boost. Also a few pokemon could use type changes (Yanmega to bug/dragon), (glalie to ice/steel with stat boosts) and others that I will post later. I have a decent list lying around from spirit crystal that was pretty good and I will add other things to it based on BW.

Drayano April 7th, 2011 4:38 PM

Okay, the hack is updated! Say hello to version 1.1.

Changes are as follows:
+ There's now a normal and legendary version. The legendary version will allow you to get all 649 Pokémon if you don't mind screwing the presentation up a bit. See the first post for more details.

+ There have been four new type changes. Gothita, Gothorita and Gothitelle are now Psychic / Dark, and Farfetch'd is now Fighting / Flying (in addition to getting a slightly increased stat boost).

+ Some battles have been edited slightly, either to make them harder or to introduce the new changes.

+ Some abilities have been changed. Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Kabutops, Lotad, Lombre and Ludicolo have had their original abilities restored, and Bellossom now gains Own Tempo rather than Natural Cure.

+ A couple of problems have been fixed, such as two incorrectly placed Wild Pokémon (one from a typo, one I forgot to change later in development) and a trainer in Challenger's Cave having a ? Pokémon (forgot to close that slot).

+ Further edits to level up moves have been applied, to the following Pokémon: Growlithe, Arcanine, Vulpix, Ninetales, Skarmory, Farfetch'd, Bellossom, Natu, Xatu, Carnivine.

+ Black City trainers have been edited. Their Pokémon now depend on which version of the hack you use (Normal or Legendary).

+ The download now contains UPS patches with the tsukuyomi patcher, in addition to the xdelta patches present before.

+ The levels of static one-time encounter Pokémon have been raised. Reshiram and Zekrom can now actually fight!

---

Hopefully, that should improve it a bit!

(Also, suaqua, I didn't put in any of those just yet. I can say now that some of them might be a bit awkward (ie changing Yanmega's type is a bit weird as it has two incredibly good abilities, but I'd pretty much have to put Levitate over one of them if I did that...). You're more than welcome to do a Spirit Crystal like thing as you did with Spirit Gold, though.)

suaqua April 7th, 2011 5:30 PM

That is fine Drayano. Once the hacking tools come out (I cant hex edit), I will probably do something like that.

ok here is my list of edits from spirit crystal:

Drayano April 7th, 2011 6:35 PM

Okay, just updated again due to something new I found right after I updated. Hopefully that should be it for now.

tifaluv April 7th, 2011 7:28 PM

hey look at this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en5w4CRp220&feature=channel_video_title

He somehow added Gym Leader rematches to the game. Would it be possible to include rematches in this hack?

suaqua April 7th, 2011 7:37 PM

how do you know he didnt just sav pokemon into the game and alter the trainers in the trainer editor?

tifaluv April 7th, 2011 7:46 PM

Quote:

Because he clearly says he hacked the ROM genius

IronTrapinch April 7th, 2011 8:13 PM

^alls that was done in that vid, was a text edit, and a trainer edit, then the team was sav'd in.

Anywho if you want changes...

Strength-Now Fighting with 20% to boost attack.
Rock Climb-Now Rock.
Defog-A flying type rapid spin.
Wing Attack-25BP but hit's twice
Elemental fangs-75BP
Elemental Puches-85BP
Bug Opposition-60BP (and learnable by more pokemon)
Flame Burst-70BP
Incinerate-60BP

(this is off an opinion Snivy should've been Grass/Poison)
Add Poison Fang and Tail to Snivy's line.
Make Aqua and Iron Tail learnable.

Give Pidgey's line Wing Attack earlier.

Add Shell Smash to squirtle's line (and Razor Shell as an egg move?)

Give Charmander Tail Glow as an Egg move

Seed Flare is learnable by the families of...
Bulbasaur
Oddish
Hoppip
Seedot
Budew
Tropius
Cherubi
Lefeon
Snivy(as an egg move)
Pansage
Deerling
Virizion.

Give Magma Storm to the families of...
Magmar (like at level 68, and make one of the ways to evolve it is to let it know the move)
Slugma
Numel
Pansear
Larvesta
Heatmor

Give Aura Sphere to the families of...
Ralts
Budew
Darmanitan (for Zen Mode)
Chimchar
Solrock
Lunatone
Spoink
Meditite

Give Leaf Blade to the families off...
Scyther (Egg move)
Farfetch'd
Bellsprout
Lotad
Carnivine
Snover
Pansage
Leavanny (icr if she does or not)
Lilligent
Sawsbuck

Bubble should be give to all 'Baby' pokemon as a Baisic move.

SteamRoller should be given to the families of...
Klink
Miltank (egg move from golem)
Wailmer
Phanphy
Voltorb

Give Techno Buster to Porygon's family too.

Instead of making every reptile Somthing/Dragon typing (which imo turns the game into 'Battle of Fariys, Dragons and random pets), give them moves that hint twords it.

Give Charizard Dragon Pulse and Claw via Level Up
Give Gyrados Dragon Pulse via Level Up
Give Yanmega Dragon Dance (or Quiver Dance :3) and Dragon Pulse via Leve Up
stuff like that.

And give Draco Meteor as an egg move, to all the Pokemon in the Dragon Breeding Family, instead of cheaply making them part 'Dragon' aka the easy yout imo.

Drayano April 8th, 2011 2:22 AM

I'll think about the suggestions, I guess. For the record, Blastoise already has Shell Smash.

Also, tifaluv, what suaqua and IronTrapinch said are right I'm afraid. It's just a text and team edit. That guy loves doing stuff like that.

doudou1408 April 8th, 2011 2:36 AM

Legendary version , with 1% in special grass , OMG , it's so good , Thanks very much man !

geox123 April 8th, 2011 12:31 PM

Hey Drayano, do you battle competitively? If so, did that affect your changes to the stats and such?

I don't horribly often nowadays but I'm fully aware of the competitive background; it did definitely affect my decisions with some things, yeah. The stats I don't know so much, though I suppose most of the stuff that got boosts was in the NU tier, so... yes, I suppose it did.

Edit: Updated with V1.2, this has a clean version packaged in that reduces the hack to a basic wild/trainer/evolution edit, helpful for the legit/straight-edge player.

doudou1408 April 9th, 2011 1:10 AM

No changes between 1.1 legendary and regular legendary 1.2 ?

Drayano April 9th, 2011 2:01 AM

Nope, not a single one.

1.2 is just adding the clean version.

IronTrapinch April 9th, 2011 7:02 AM

I know this is late and such, but some other move changes were...

Beedrill with Drill Liner
Butterfree with Power Gem

Bone Club and Bonemerang on Vullaby's line

Baton Pass on Yanmega

Psycho Boost on Alakazam

Roar of Time on Celebi

Dragon Tail on Minccino

Tail Slap on
Rattata
Snivy
Aipom

Extrasensory added to
Budew
Magby
Elekid
Smoochum

Type Changes-
Glalie Ice/Rock (or Ice/Dark)
Zebstrika Electric/Dark and give it some level up dark moves, and slightly better stats.
Normal Darmanitan Fire/Fighting (to compliment Zen Mode)
Cofagrigus Ghost/Rock (or Ghost/Ground, but Golett's got that)
Luxray Electric/Dark

Give Ursaring Reckless as an Ability and these moves via level up
Wood Hammer
Submission
DOuble-Edge
Head Smash

Shell Smash and Razor Shell on
Torterra (via Breeding)
Crawdaunt (Replacing Dragon Dance)
Kingler

Flare Blitz on Flareon...duh...

and evolution ideas
