About Poison
Am I the only one that actually miss that the poison would still affect the pokemon even outside battle? I mean, now poison is more like a burn except that strenght in not halved (Not talking about badly poisoned)

This is kind of more reffering to a B/W mechanic, I suppose, so I'll move this over to B/W.

I miss it too... I even preferred in Gen IV when it would peter down to 1HP...

Huh, it doesn't? Doesn't that sort of defeat the whole threat of poisoning? It always made sense, but I always have antidotes/full heals/full restores with me, so I never noticed it doesn't, if anyone in my party gets poisoned, I always healed them up...

Yeah, same here. It kind of broke the immersion first time playing.

I concur with the above post. While I alsways hated dying of poison, it felt odd when I first found out that it doesn't have an effect on the field. And yeah, i kind of miss it. I mean, having t rush to the Pokemon Centre as fast as you could was kinda fun. XD I hope that they reintroduce it in the third game (if there is a third game).

I always hated that, and I am doing a Nuzlocke challenge now, if this still existed, I would have lost already, so I am glad.

I was really surprised the first time my Pokemon got poisoned and nothing happened outside the battle. It was a pleasant surprise though. I'm happy with the change, and I understand why people dislike it. I have absolutely no problem with them taking it out of the game, but I suppose I won't be freaking out either if they ever decide to make it come back.

i am glad they took it out. i can see why some people complain but i am actually glad its gone. my pokemon faint to much as it is XD

It freaked me out at first that it didn't hurt me...guess I got used to it after two gens of shaking screen...and running to a pokemon center...

Huh, never knew that. It kind of takes the point out of being poisoned. Wait, so i wasted all those full heals? They should definatley bring it back in the next game whatever it is.

Not that I agree with it... but it is more realistic. Like, if you were shot during, say, a gang war, then you would eventually heal and get better. I think they should have made it progressively less damaging. IMO, that's the best option.

I don't miss poison damaging my Pokemon outside of battle at all. It was annoying walking around with poison chipping away at my Pokemon's health every few steps.

I don't miss it! I hated it always hurting my Pokemon.

I did think it made more sense but I don't miss it too much, it was always a pretty annoying feature I felt.

I don't care about it at all. Its actually better, its something that I've overjoyed knowing. I've always hated the "HAHAH YOU DIE IN A FEW STEPS! POISON IS EBIL! MUAHAHAHA" thing. I was relieved when I heard about this.

Well, nostalgia dictates that I should miss it and the crunching sound of a pokemon dying with the screen blipping, but I don't know, like many of you I carry so many full heals that if I had not tested it one day to hear the sound, I probably never would have noticed.

I feel like the pokemon games keep getting more and more dumbed down.
