Can a mod permanently delete some of of my blog entries?
There are a few where I meant to reply to someone in a thread, and I accidentally blogged it instead. I soft deleted those ones already.
|
Honestly, I think soft deleting them should be enough...no one else but staff, likely only h-staff can see them anyways.
If a member of H-staff is glad to help you with this, that's their call really. I don't see any other reason for them to refuse. Your best bet is to just PM one of them. |
Okay, consider your soft deleted blogs removed. n___n

You should PM him with the links to the specific entries you want removed and ensure he can actually see them. If he can not, then move up a rank or two and try again. :p
|
No worries, all your soft deleted blogs are completely gone.

I'll try and be more careful from now on. |
Sorry for bumping this thread, but can a staff member delete my soft-deleted entries as well, there's quite a few, but I don't really want someone reading them :<
|
Consider all 90 of your previously deleted blog entries now gone.

Viola! Your blog entry has been removed.
I suggest you become more aware of the reply area when you're making a post and when you're making a blog. I mean, the page for posting a blog and posting a reply aren't at all the same, and one should easily be able to recognize the fact that they're making a blog entry and not a reply to a thread... I don't consider it a big deal or anything, since that's something that's so minor, but just making a suggestion. Anyone else? lmao... |

And if you don't wanna change the style, you could quote directly from the url, for example:
http://www.pokecommunity.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=6627383 See that? Copy the small post number above the person's post on the right and copy the "p=" part then just put it after newreply&. http://www.pokecommunity.com/showpost.php?p=6627383&postcount=14 ^ from that url. Then paste the first link into your browser and you're still quoting them without accidentally pressing blog. You could also have the basic url copied to your PC notepad, so it's easier to remember. You could also directly copy and paste the text into a quote box to avoid that, too. Just throwing out some other suggestions that you could possibly do which have the same effect, just take a little bit longer. :D |

2. Remove the Blog button, and let the bloggers have the "small inconvinience" |

That could also work as a feature in VMs and blog post comments if someone starts spamming your profile/blog. |

So, even if it takes longer, we removed that feature so a staff member is required to review any material that is going to be permanently deleted. Just in case. After all, it doesn't take that long. |
Probably it's best to have a pop-up stating/asking us if we are really sure to post this new entry.
Kinda lessens the hassle of those "accidentally" posted blog entries... |
