You head off towards the Poke'mart. You figure if you don't get any Potions soon, you might start having trouble in battles. When you get their, your not supprised. The only other Poke'mart you had seen was the Viridian City, and it was just about the same. Afterwards, you have a choice. What's gonna happen?

-Forget about her and Challenge the gym already

You decide shes not worth your time. The gym on the other hand is. You remember that the gym was just before the Museum, and start heading towards it. You soon get their, and find it to quite impressive. You had never seen a pokemon gym before. You walk inside to see a large battle field covered in rocks and cracks. On the other side of the field is a dark skined man in dark pants and no shirt. "So your my next challanger? Fine. My names Brock I hope your ready for this. Go Geodude!"

Rock Throw, Magnatude, Rock Polish, Tackle

"Go Wartortle!" you call out. You throw a poke'ball and out pops Wartortle. "A water type. Good choice." says Brock. "Geodude! Use Magnatude!" The Geodude starts to pound the ground with it's hands and the whole gym startes to shake. You almost lose balance, but Wartortle falls over on to it's back. You call out for Wartortle to use Water Gun, but then you notice he's still on his back. You start to go help him, but then Brock yells, "Stop! If you enter the field now, you will be disqualified." You stand back. "Now. Geodude! Use Rock Throw!" Geodude picks up a rock and tosses it towards Wartortle. What will you do?

-Return Wartortle, Use Nidorino
-Return Wartortle, throw out Nidorino, then return Nidorino and throw out Wartortle again.
-Have Wartortle take it and see if it knocks him back on his feet.

Callandor July 5th, 2011 11:10 AM

-Return Wartortle, Use Nidorino

You decide to switch out Wartortle with Nidorino. "You saved your pokemon from unneeded damage. Good." says Brock. "Now Geodude! Use Magnatude!" Geodude starts to pound the ground again, creating shockwaves that were less powerful, but no less devestating. Nidorino took alot of damage in that attack, but you noticed something during that. The large rocks poking out of the ground were shakeing alot less. You decide to use it to your advantage. "Nidorino! Use Double Kick!"

"Geodude use Magnatude again." says Brock. Then you yell, "Nidorino now! Onto the rocks!" Nidorino leaps onto the rocks, and continues on to Geodude. Brock didn't seem suprised though, and was perpared. "Geodude! Rock throw." Geodude started picking up small rocks and throwing them at Nidorino. Nidorino leaped down from the rocks and got to Geodude. It turned around and kicked with both legs sending Geodude back into some rocks. Geodude climbs out of the rock pile just to get another kick in the face. Geodude faints, and Brock returnes it nodding. "Your good, but still just a beginner. Now lets see how you deal with my Strongest pokemon, Onix!" Brock then throws a poke'ball, and from out of it the biggest pokemon you've ever see.

-Use a Potion on Nidorino, keep going

You decide to let Nidorino keep going, and give him a Potion. Nidorino runs to you to recive healing, then runs back out to engage Onix. "So you decided to stick with that one." Brock says. "Onix! Use bind!" Onix wraps the end of it's tail around Nidorino, but almost immediatly lets go, and gets a pained look on it's face. "Onix, what's wrong?" says Brock. Your confused too for a second, then you remember something the Poke'dex said about Nidorino. Nidorino has psionous spikes," you say. "Your Onix is posioned." Brock looks at you for a second, then a small smile lights on his face. "That's good for you, bad for me. I won't make the same mistake again. Onix! Rock Tomb." Suddenly Onix grabs a bunch of rocks and drops them on Nidorino. Nidorino almost doesn't make it. He got out of the way just in time. "Nidorino, Double Kick." Nidorino runs stright at Onix, leaps, and lands both feet right in Onix's face. "Just what I was hopeing you'd do. Onix! Lets get this right. Bite!" Onix open's it's mouth wide, then slams it down hard, engulfing Nidorino. For a second nothing happens. The Onix moves towards you, lowers and opens it's mouth and out rolls Nidorino, fainted. You look over Nidorino and figure it nothing a trip to the Poke'center can't fix. But for now you have to finish your Gym match. Your only other pokemon is Wartortle, but he's not in the best of shape. Not that Onix looks much better. And now you know not to get too close to Onix's mouth. "Go Wartortle!" you shout, and pops Wartortle, still on his BACK?!?!?! For some reason Wartortle come out of the poke'ball on his feet. What now? "That's unfotunate," says Brock. "For you that is. For me, ths means I win. Onix won't even need to use an attack. Just fall on it."

Wartortle! Full power Water Gun!

You call out for Wartortle to blast Onix with a Water Gun. Wartortle raises it's head and looks right at Onix's moving head, and just before it hits, Wartortle opens it's mouth and out shoots a huge blast of water. It hits Onix square in the center of it's face and throws it back to the ground. Onix lands with such force the whole Gym shakes. Dust is thrown up every where. You can't see a thing for a few seconds. When the dust clears Wartortle is still on it's back, but rocking back and forth trying to get up. Onix, on the other hand, is laying still on it's side, with Brock kneeling by it's head. Brock turns his head and looks at you, then gets up and walks over to you. He holds out his hand in front of you palm up. In it is a small gray Gym Badge. "It's your's." he says. "You won it fair and square." You take the badge and pin it to your shirt.

Well, you beat your first gym Leader. What's next.

-Catch Jigglypuff first

You want to go after Team Rocket, but think you might need another Pokemon first. You look around for a bit, but all you see are Pidgey and Spearow, and your not interested in any of them. At one point you even get chased by a small flock of Spearow. You manage to get away for a moment, but you know their still looking for you. As your creaping away, you suddenly hear a squishing noise coming from under you. You look down to see that you seem to have steped on a large pink ball, but then you notice it's waving it's arms! It's a Pokemon! You take your foot off it and it immediatly puffs back up. The Pokemon hops up on it's feet, and then puffes up even more, with a look of anger on it's face. You take out the Poke'dex, the first real time using it, to see what type of pokemon this is. You find out it's name is Jigglypuff. But before you get a chance to find out anything else, you hear a loud "SPEAROW!!!!!!" "Crap! They found us." Without thinking you grab the Jigglypuff and run. You look back for a second and discover, to your dismay, that the flock is even bigger! And not just Spearow anymore. You see a lot of Pidgey and even a Pidgeotto or two. You'll later find out that for unknown reasons all the bird pokemon of route 3 flock togather. But for right now, your running for your life! It suddenly occures to you that this is the second time a large group of Pokemon have started chasing you this week. As your running you suddenly see someguys dressed in black up ahead. It's Team Rocket! Too bad your being chased by killer bird pokemon, or you'd show them what for. When they see you they start to get their poke'balls out, but then that too see the flock. Needless to say, they run too. Suddenly though, as your running, something starts to squrim in your arms and you remember the Jigglypuff. But when you look down at it, you trip and land face first on the ground. You get to your knees and rub you face, and notice that Jigglypuff is on your head facing the flock of bird pokemon. Then it starts singing. The next thing you remember is face-planting again as you fall asleep. When you wake up, the first thing you see is Jigglypuff juggling some of your Poke'balls. Suddenly it tosses one up and the other two right into your face. You dodge just in time and see the last one fall right on Jigglypuffs head to catch it. You stare at the poke'ball for a second. Then you figure you have yourself a new pokemon. You look around to see Team Rocket members and bird pokemon asleep all over the place. It's also getting late. What next?

You decide it's not really stealing if it's from Team Rocket. I mean, if they have it, it was probably stolen at one point anyway, you think. You walk to the nearest Rocket and looking him over. He doesn't look too strong, so your not too worried if he wakes up. You search all three of his pockets, two pants pockets, and one on the chest. You find nothing. You stand back up, and are about to go check someone else when you see something odd. It's a piece of paper sticking out of the Rocket's hat. You reach down and grab the paper, then opened it to read what's inside. It says the following:

Message from Team Rocket Boss: Giovanni

This mission is for Team Rocket Members in the vicinity of Mount Moon. I have recived confirmation from my sources that Mount Moon holds an abundance of Pokemon Fossils. All Team Rocket Members in and around Pewter City are required to obtain these fossils at all costs.

You read the message over again. You know this can't be good, because Team Rocket doing it, but for the life of you, you can't see why a massive crime organazation like Team Rocket would want fossils. Their just rocks that look like Pokemon after all. You pocket the note then look back at the sky. It's getting pretty dark. Your not sure what to do.

You head back to the Poke'center to give you and your pokemon some rest. Not that you really need it. You did sleep most of the day after all.

It's about Midnight when you hear it. All of a sudden the whole Poke'center shudders and you hear a booming off in the direction of Mount Moon. You look out a window and see a large coloum of smoke comming from Mount Moon. You run down down the stairs into the Poke'center's lobby and into chaos. Everyone in the Poke'center is freaking out because of the explosion. Everyone is running and shouting, and nobody can hear that the nurse is trying to get their attention. So you get out Wartortle and tell it to get everyone execpt the nurse a little wet. Wartortle points it's mouth toward the roof and shoots a Water Gun at it. The water hits the roof and sprays down on everyone like s fire sprinkler. You look around to see that everyone is now quite and wet. Even the nurse. But she ignores the water and addresses everyone.

"All right everyone. The police have informed me the explosion may have been caused an evil group called Team Rocket and that everyone should remain in the Poke'center untill they have resolved the problem. Also Brock is going to handle the problem himself and has requsted that any strong trainers staying here go with him to help." You know Brocks tough, but you don't think he can handle all this by himself. so you run out side and in the direction of the smoke. You notice a few other trainers following you. It takes a minute or two to get to the source of the explosion. When you get their you notice that Brock is already there fight about a dozen Team Rocket members. You throw out Wartortle just as the other trainers throw out their own.
Trainers helping Brock:

In total there are seven pokemon fighting against Team Rocket's twelve. Execpt for a few though, Team Rocket looks like it's out matched. You also notice a couple of pokemon that might have belonged to Prof. Oak at one point it time. The battle doesn't take too long and soon the Rockets were making a hasty retrete. But things arn't finished yet. Brock motions for you and the other trainers to follow him into the cave. Just as your about to follow, one of the trainers comes up to you. It's the guy you met in the forest. "Hey. I didn't know you'd be here." he says. As he says that the Butterfree and the Beedrill fly to his side. Before he can say anything else though, you notice Brock and two other trainers are making their way towards the opening into Mount. Moon.

When you get into the cave you notice that it really dark in the cave. So dark you wonder how anybody can see. But just when your wondering how you'll find Team Rocket in the dark, the trainer with the Charmeleon has it use flash to light the cave. From what you can see, the explosin really did a number on this place. Your pretty sure that it happened further back though, and your about to suggest that you all go further in when Brock takes off running. You, the other trainers and their pokemon start running with him. You notice that the Fearow and Charmelon seem to belong to the same trainer, while the Bulbasaur seems to belong to the last guy. After a few minutes you all get to an area that is somewhat lighter then before. The reason for this seems to be holes in the roof of the cave. As you keep going you notice that the results of the bomb are greater here. The roof looks like it's going to colapse and the walls are crumbling. Suddenly everyone stops, and you see why. Team Rocket members are digging through piles of rocks looking for something. Suddenly they all stop and look at you all. At that moment all the Team Rocket members throw out their pokemon. Their are alot of enemy pokemon.

Send out Nidorino and Jigglypuff

Why turn back now when we've already made it this far? And two Pokemon are better than one. And with so many other trainers helping there's no way that we'll lose.

Send out Nidorino and Jigglypuff, we could at least try to stop them.

Callandor August 1st, 2011 8:39 AM

Sorry if I went a little overboard on the size of the post. I just couldn't stop.

-Send out Nidorino and Jigglypuff

You decide to send out Nidorino and Jigglypuff to help Wartortle. Right as you throw out your pokemon all the other trainers there, including Team Rocket, call out for their pokemon to attack. The battle doesn't last too long, but it's constant the whole time. Team Rockets Pokemon don't give the trainers pokemon a moments rest. By the end of it each trainer fight with you has only about one pokemon left that's not compleatly exsausted. Ray's pokemon however got taken out midway through. And your the only one with two pokemon.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg002.pnghttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg005.pnghttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg095.pnghttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg008.pnghttp://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg033.png
Team Rocket on the other hand have nothing left. You, the trainers and Team Rocket stare at each other for a minute. Suddenly Brock steps up and say "Leave now Team Rocket. And don't ever come back." As he says this you notice that you all have moved father into Mount Moon. Suddenly you look back to the Rockets and see one smilling. He then says, "We're not out yet." Then he pick up a poke'ball and throws it yelling "Go Rhydon!"
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg112.pngLv. 65
Earthquake, Stone Edge, Drill Run, Hammer Arm

This can't be good, you think. The Rocket points towards all of you and calls out to Rhydon, "Use Earthquake!" The Rhydon starts to stomp around and then the whole Mountain starts to shake. The Rocket starts to laugh maniacly and then says "If we can't have the Fossils then noone will have them! HAHAHAHAHA!" Everyone reacts quickly, returning their pokemon execpt for Brock who beckons for everyone to hide under Onix. You have already returned Wartortle and are looking for Nidorino when Brock grabs you and pulls you under Onix. As it happens you see Nidorino and run towards him. You take off Wartortle's and Jigglypuff's Poke'ball's and throw them to Brock, then reach Nidorino just as a huge rock is about to land on you.

The first unexspected thing to happen is you waking up. You feel all over yourself and feel anything wrong. You also don't feel any pain. It's compleatly dark though, and your under something heavy. Then you remember Brock trying to get you under his Onix, and at first your relived, but then you remember Nidorino and your filled with regret. Suddenly you hear a loud growling rumble and Onix starts to move. You feel it's tail brush past. But something doesn't feel right. The rumbling don't feel like it's coming from a large snake-like pokemon. It feels huge, but more lie it's coming from one stout body. And then it leaves. You feel around and after a while come across a tunnel. The tunnel seems to be going slightly up. Suddenly you see sunlight. and a huge, purple Pokemon just standing their. Then you just collapse.

You wake up the next day to Brock and Ray and some girl in a swimsuit standing over your bed. The girl see you waking up and says, "Good, he's awake. I need to get back to the gym now, see you later Brock." You try to get up but Ray stops you saying, "Stop. It's way too early to get up yet. You need to rest a little bit longer." You look around a bit and see both Wartortle and Jigglypuff sleeping on the floor beside your bed. Dispite not wanting to you fall back asleep. As your falling asleep you hear Brock and Ray talking about how they couldn't find all the stuff from your bag. It doesn't regester right away, but it will later.

You wake up again the next morning. You feel pretty good so you go down stairs and find yourself in the Poke'center. As soon as you get off the stairs Wartortle and Jigglypuff both leap at you. You hug both of them and feel happy that they are here, but your still sad for Nidorino. Suddenly the nurse speaks up and says, "Your third pokemon was too big to be in here so he should be outside." You look at her in puzzlement for second. Wartortle and Jigglypuff are both tugging at your pant-legs. You let them pull you out side and when you get out the front door you see it. After Brocks Onix, this is the biggest pokemon you have ever seen. While your gwaking at it. The girl in the swimsuit walks up to you and says, "If you've never seen one before, thats a Nidoking. It evloves from Nidorino, which I heard you had." You look at her, then back at Nidoking. He looks at you for a second while you look at him. You feel tears welling up in your eyes. Nidorino survived, and evloved to save you. The looks back at you after admiring Nidoking and, startled, says, "Woah! You ok?" You wipe the tears from your eyes and say that your fine. You look back at Nidoking. What's next?

-Ask the girl about the gym
-Ask the girl what town your in
-Look around town and figure it out for yourself

-Ask the girl what town your in

You remember that you have no idea what town your in and decide to ask the girl. "Hey. You wouldn't happen to know what town this is, would you?" The girl looks at you then gets a smile on her face and says, "This is my town, Cerulean City. And I'm the Gym Leader, Misty." That took you by suprise. You didn't exepct to find the Gym Leader this soon. Your about to challenge her, when you wonder something. The last Gym Leader, Brock, had just one type of pokemon. He even said that he Trained the Rock-type. This makes you wonder if all Gym Leaders use only one Type. So you decide to ask. "Hey, Misty? Do all Gym Leaders only use one Type of Pokemon?" She nods. "I use the Water Type. So if you want to challenge me you'd better not use that Nidoking. He'd be at a huge disatvantage." Well, she was kind enough to give you a tip, so what now?

iop50 August 6th, 2011 10:43 AM

Let's go to Route 24! We might find something.

Callandor August 8th, 2011 8:56 AM

-Go off to Route 24

You look at the map of Kanto in the Poke'center and see the Route 24 is a dead end and figure that it's just as good a place to train as any. When you get their you find something quite unexpected. You see this large bridge and on the bridge are a bunch of trainers just standing there. Your about to go see what's up when you see a sign. On the sign it say
Nugget Bridge
Defeat all the trainers and win a prize

You wonder what the Prize is and head straight for the first trainer. It's a guy with a weird smile on his face. You look behind the guy and see that everyone of them looks the same. But you don't really care. Still, you send out Nidoking just to be safe. It doesn't take too long to take out the first guy. The next guy is about the same. As is the guy after that. Finally, after battling about a dozen trainers you get to the last guy. You prepare for your last battle, but just as you do the guy starts clapping. "Your really good. I assume you want the prize? Well here you go." The guy hands you three nuggets. "That will fetch a pretty price at any pokemart. But their's one final prize. A once in a lifetime offer. How would you like to join Team Rocket?"

The Fearow leaps up into the air and then grabs you with it's talons. It then flies you over some water and set's you down right in front of the cave opening. You look just inside of the cave, and step inside. Suddenly you feel this ripping sensation, and a minute later your looking down on your lifeless body and everything goes black.

OH LOOK AT ME BEING ALL TIE BREAKER-ISH.

Send out Nidoking. :3

Callandor August 25th, 2011 5:41 AM

Alright. So before we get started there's a few things I want to say. First, sorry for being gone X amount of days, but I was was in a portion of hell called Chicago for two days. Sorry to all who live in Chicago, but I don't like it. Second, I have a bit of a new thing going on. I now live in Virgina. With my father. I now work with said father. Said father does not have internet at home. Therefore, I can only get on at work. I'll be getting on every Saturday and Sunday for sure. I may also get on at random points in the week, depending on when I follow my father to work. Third, I have decided to make a few changes to things. Don't worry, no changes to the plot. Just some bits of the elements of the CYOA. Basically, I'm throwing us back in time. The story is still good ol' Red and Blue, but things like move sets and otherwise will be more along the time of Gold and Silver. Now you all still have a choice. If you don't like it, I'll be happy to go back to Black and White move sets. Otherwise were gonna stick with this. I do request that you all at least give it a try. Now without further adieu, lets get on with the Show! But first enemy Primeape's new look... Not really. Unfortunately my fathers work computer won't let me post images. :( Oh well.Primeape does get some changes though....

Primeape Lv. 30
Rage, Low Kick, Focus Energy, Karate Chop

-Send out Nidoking

You figure that sense Nidoking has done so well so far, you might as well stick with him. You call out for Nidoking to use Horn Attack. Nidoking lowers his head and points his horn right at Primeape, and charges.

"Primeape! Dodge and use Low Kick!" the Rocket yells. Primeape immediately drops down and swings it's right leg right into Nidoking's knees. He falls down hard, but despite the near earthquake he caused, Nidoking get's back up onto his feet and stares down the enemy Primeape.

"Primeape! Use Focus Energy now, then Rage!" says the Rocket. Primeape get's a look of intense concentration on it's face for a second. Suddenly the look changes to one of pure anger. Primeape then leaps at Nidoking and starts pounding on him. Punching and kicking and even biting though your not sure how. It doesn't really seem to be doing that much damage, but you know it build up over time. What now?

-"Nidoking! Throw him off, then use Horn Attack!"
-"Nidoking! Throw him off, then use Double Kick!"
-Switch out for Wartortle, then use Water Gun.
-Switch out for Wartortle, the use Rapid Spin.
