Is it against the rule to evade ignores?

I recently ignored someone so they couldn't VM me and today. I looked at my messages and he used his alt to contact me. Is this against the rules or is the only thing I can do is to ignore him?

If it's not, it definitely should be. o_o;

I agree. I reported him hoping he would get an infraction for profile spam or something on his main.

EDIT: It's actually not his alt, it's his friend. But would this still be against the rules? >>>PROOF<<<

Personally, I don't think this is against the rules unless they seriously take it too far and start harassing you. Definitely keep your eyes wide open about harassment Xyrin, it'll be alright if you do that and report it for that if it continues.

HOWEVER
I strongly recommend you simply ignore the person(s) involved and if they keep on evading, a third/fourth time for example, then it would definitely be harassment in any reasonable person's eyes and would likely be actionable by staff. Staff, primarily higher staff, you may correct me if I am wrong.

This seems pretty bad to me. Seems like harrasment...

You VMing me then blocking me is a sign of you being immature. You decided by ending the conversation without giving me a chance to say anything, ha ! I don't discriminate according to age, a lot of my friend here are 12 13 and even 11 years old, i was just saying that you being 12 has a role in you being revengeful over something so stupid. I RATED FAIRLY, YOU DON'T LIKE IT, I DON'T CARE !! YOU RATED AGGRESSIVELY BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T LIKE MY RATING !! THAT'S THE END OF IT !! The whole tuing started by you posting something that wasn't nice !! Why ?? Because you're immature. And just so you can feel happy, you being immature has nothing to do with your age, you're just immature and revegfull, i've given a lot of people bad ratings because they have bad signatures, 4/10 even 2/10 sometimes, and NO ONE reacted like you. The only explanation is you being immature !!

Definitely report it and it will be handled accordingly. In my book, it's almost like sock puppeting really. Put the alts on the ignore list and if this still persists, report it. But still, I would have reported it anyway. They are abusing their alts though, imo.

Actually I found out it was his friend. He asked his friend in a VM. Now the problem may be harrasment.

I reported it. :)

the guy who sent you the post is actually a friend of mine, so what you should really do is report the person you blocked at first, because the guy who was ordered to send the vm to you shouldn't be reported since he had nothing to do with the arguement you and the guy you blocked had. im getting really confused posting this lol. but i hope you understand what i am trying to say.

Well since the friend had nothing to do with the argument.. Then the friend shouldnt have interferred. It's not like Pedro held a gun to his head.. or kept electroshocking him through his keyboard.. anyway.
This: "the guy who sent you the post is actually a friend of mine, so what you should really do is report the person you blocked at first" So wait.. BECAUSE he is a friend of yours he shouldnt be reported... That's what you said, meaning that if it was someone else you didnt know or have talked to who did the same thing it wouldnt matter if he got an infraction.

actually, i meant that since i am his friend, i saw this vm when the other guy posted it, and i was gonna send a vm to my friend to not send the message to the owner of this thread. also, maybe he didn't know what kind of situation he was in, he might of thought that it was some kind of joke of some sort, and not taken seriously. so he did what the other said, but still if he was a friend or not, he shouldn't be reported, since he was just transferring a message that someone else wrote, he did not write that himself. he in no way, was trying to harass the owner of this thread, he was "an innocent victim" you can say. although the other guy didn't have "a gun pointed to his head" like you say.

It doesn't matter. Pedro asked him to send a rude message to me and he did it. It's not the right thing to do. It doesn't matter if he was told to do it or not. He still did it and should take the punishment if there is any.

And you should have warned him. Honestly, if you thought he would get in trouble it didn't matter.

The issue has been handled, and since we all know the members that are being discussed here, I'd rather close this thread so it doesn't become a flame-fest against them.

If this ever happens again, please report them and they will be infracted accordingly. Using an alt to evade a block isn't that much of an issue (suggestion: never tell anybody you have blocked them. Just do it and move along. The feature is called "Ignore" list for a reason), but the disrespect is.
