Rumble
Oreburgh City
Armory

After Rumble's clever statements, Hector started a lecture. Rumble, although being an intelligent being, wasn't much of a speech person. He was getting tired by all this.

"That's the difference between us, Rumble. You would gladly sacrifice half of your own men for victory, when I would gladly die for any one of mine."

"Many factors a genius considers play a huge role in your story. If I knew that the 100 men standing were the elite troopers, or if my soldiers were unevolved Pokemon, it'd be worth it." Rumble laughed heartlessly, as what he said was beyond the point of harsh.

The commander turned around and faced Rumble who was slighty frowning now.

"So here's the deal: Follow my orders, my tactics, and my methods, and we'll get along splendidly..." Hector shook his gel hand with his paw, them looking each other straight into the eye "...Field General Rumble."

Rumble's frown was replaced by the smile of satisfaction by his success. He was about to say something but he let Hector speak once more.

"As for this human...he's helped us out quite a bit. He and I discovered a weapon that might very well finish the war, and defeat the humans."

"I don't mind following your orders... as long as you don't make peace with humans, I'll be doing my job killing them since that's what I do best." His crystal teeth flashed again in a psychotic smile as he took his eyes off the commander, looking outside the window.

"About your human, I never doubted him. My personal opinion is that all humans are worse than the garbage they produce. We, Pokemon, are better. But I do believe there are good humans out there... who deserve the same fate as the bad ones, if they don't help us."

His tone was threatening againist the humans again, and he let the fury inside him boil and boil, till the time comes to unleash it upon the puny humans that will stand in his way.
Rumble's expression didn't change either - he was serious and calm like every time the subject of the conversation was war.

"So shall we proceed with our plan for the next move of the PR?"
Rumble said, without waiting an answer he headed to the Sinnoh map on the wall and pointed at Oreburgh.

"I've been informed that Commander Jack Spark of the HR is back in action. That will surely boost the morale of the HR's troops. They'll want to take Oreburgh back, and if they do attack, it's most likely we'll lose. That is why I made sure they don't get massive access to the main routes between Hearthome and Oreburgh, with some explosives. I was also planning an attack on Eterna, but things appear to be more complicated; our troops aren't enough for all these assaults, so I propose we hurry towards their base: Sunnyshore."

As Rumble continued speaking, pointing at the places where he was talking about when needed, a bright idea flashed into his mind. In remembering that vicious figure he saw when the holocaust was taking place - a Weavile standing far away, he snapped his fingers, still looking at the map. Rumble had peered into the Weavile's thoughts, which sure weren't about staying with the PR under his command. He suddenly turned at Lydia.

"That Weavile. Where is she right now? Was she with you in Hearthome?"

He had no grounds to base these assumptions, but he had the hunch of a genius.

(sorry about typos/other mistakes, I'm kinda having a headache over here)

Mandel
Oreburgh City

"It was nothing like that," Lydias thoughts were shot into the Mandels mind.

Mandel had never thought through telepathy but he thought he would try, he attempted to send a message to Lydias mind.

"Still in denial are we? That is pretty much exactly what happened."

Mandel laughed.

Mandel turned and marched right upto Lydia, litteraly inches away, and began to talk to her privately through telepathy.

"So you know what you stinking Zorua, I...AM...DONE"

"Now tell me whats wrong with you? Do you want to be in the first line of battle? Eh?" Rumble said, a slight threatening tone in his voice.

"Do you want to be at my side when I squish humans? It's all about the killing."

Mandel smiled to himself.

"I'll fight alongside you Rumble... but believe me I'll be squishing my own humans. When the time comes I'll be ready." and with that Mandel walked off for more training.

Lydia
Oreburgh City
Armory

"Lydia, are you sure you want to take part in the next battle?" Rumble asked, glaring at her baby, "I can make it so you get out of the PR unharmed. You can't fight with this". Lydia looked down at the smaller Zorua. With him at her side, there was no way she could engage in battling. She wanted to fight with Rumble, though obviously she had no choice now but to stay at the sidelines. Looking back at the Reuniclus, he had already turned to face the Leafeon, "Do you want to be in my side when I'll squish humans? It's all about killing," he said, the Zorua also now focusing on Mandel.

Mandel turned and marched up to her, Lydia's smile widening into a most pleased smirk as she had clearly aggravated the Leafeon. It only grew as she heard words slightly forming in her mind, although they were broken and too quiet for her to process. "Trying out telepathy, huh?" she spoke through her power, a laugh in the background, "that takes YEARS to perfect if your not born with such a skill, you fool. Now get out of my face. I'd much rather be socializing with someone sweet like Mandel than a truly ugly individual like you". About to say more, she was cut off.

"It's not about killing, Rumble. It never was," a voice came, Hector walking in. That was fast. Her big ears easily picked up the conversation, as they were talking loud anyways. "It's about victory. Victory through any means. Killing humans is just one of those means, one of many, but not the ONLY one we have to turn to in order to win. Think, for a moment, if a similar human shared your ideals. This would be a very bloody battle, and, if we do happen to snatch victory in the end, would it be worth it if over half of us are dead? No". The Arcanine walked closer to her friend and continued, "It's about victory, victory through survival. Victory through demoralization, through the capturing of enemy territory.

"Our opinions may differ, our goals as well. But to achieve those goals, we must go through something necessary -and I leave you with the responsibility of the casualties- which is killing. Humans are killing our men ruthlessly, without any remorse or guilt. They don't remember US being SERVANTS. Nevertheless, I respect and fully understand your opinion," Rumble replied, his tones and expressions solid as stone.

The Arcanine continued, Lydia getting less interested as she would end up siding with her friend anyways, "Take Oreburgh. Although I was not there in the end of the battle, I helped design the battle schematics, and the plan. The battle was, as I have witnessed, a far greater success than Jubilife. Why? Because we didn't recklessly charge in and storm their base. We planned, and we struck, but we had caution, and we gave them a chance to escape. When humans, and Pokemon are facing a force with overwhelming numbers, and they do have a reasonable escape route, they will take it. It's apart of the condition for life. If only I were there to oversea, then maybe even MORE lives could have been saved. Your tactics would have led the humans to drastic measures, as they would assume we were all bloodthirsty animals. But in reality, we are very much like them. We don't want war, at least, most of us don't. We just want what anyone wants. Freedom. Happiness".

"Touche. But let me tell you this, we started all this. The Pokemon formed the PR, and the same Pokemon were determined to kill for freedom or be killed in combat. It's true that most of the Pokemon don't want war, but the humans have fought back. And if the number of casualties is a grave number, there is NOTHING we can do beyond that, as the humans themselves caused them. It means we will NOT be able to befriend them again and if we WILL be able to befriend them, we will be servants once again. If Pokemon die fighting, it will mean something to history. If we kill off all humans without having many casualties, we'll be left alone in the region. I'm surprised you hadn't seen those possibilities before. I happen to not care what will happen after the war or how much glory I'll get out of it..."

The Arcanine stood tall, the Reuniclus' levitation matching it. They both were dead serious in each word they muttered. "Now then, Rumble, if you please. Get out of my spot. I have a war to win," Hector bellowed, Rumble immediately getting up with glowing eyes. "Let me point out, that a commander doesn't leave his spot to ally with one of the humans. It doesn't matter how much the Pokemon down there love you, if they learn that.. there will be chaos. You're not going to win this war alone, you're gonna need the faith of your followers. I also think..." he paused, shooting a small wink at her, "that you're not the only one having followers".

It was true. She would follow Rumble to the end, supporting him with whatever path he chose. The Zorua would have spoke up, but things were wrapping up quickly. She stood quiet to let Rumble finish. "However, I don't care about the commander spot. It's all yours. Like I said before, it's all about killing. Taking care of all those Pokemon and caring about casualties seems like an unbearable responsibility for me, eh? A field general would be the best". With a stare, both her and her friend exchanged challenging glances, the Reuniclus quickly turning for a handshake with Hector.

"That's the difference between us, Rumble. You would gladly sacrifice half of your own men for victory, when I would gladly die for any one of mine," Hector turned back around and looked Rumble in the eyes, "So here's the deal: Follow my orders, my tactics, and my methods, and we'll get along splendidly...Field General Rumble".

Letting them make small talk, she looked behind her to see Mandel had left already. Her smile went down to the normal, usually pleasant one she had. The Zorua sat down in front of her child, moving her tail around as the baby pokemon chased it, barely biting through her fur as he attacked her tail. Her attention was caught as Rumble spoke, the voice directed to her. "That Weavile. Where is she right now? Was she with you in Hearthome?". Lydia nodded, "We escaped together, although I'm not sure where she is now, or what became of her. We sent separate ways, for some reason...".

Oreburgh

A blue colored Gardevoir popped her head in the room and half whispered, “Commander Hector… my name is Skyna, I was told you might need some healing.” She then entered the room and slowly walked over to the Arcanine. She looked over at Rumble and stopped for a second looking at him, It looked like she wanted to say something to him, but she didn’t. She then continued over to Hector and asked quietly, “Would you like me to heal your wounds?” While she waited for his answer she looked over at Lydia’s child and a little smile appeared on her face, but it quickly faded to the same look of despair she had on earlier.

Heathome

Varik looked over at the man with a smirk and said, “Those Ravagers are using a Donegal secure channel. Last I heard they were engaging possible hostiles. Be patient…”

Varik’s radio started to go off, “Winchester… are we go for launch?”
Picking up the radio Varik sighed and said, “Negative, we still don’t have the green light… Stand down… everyone just get some rest we will need it for the flight home tomorrow.”

Varik looked back at the man as he sat down and said, “I was born here… my parents were most likely killed by Pokemon. I volunteered for this mission to hopefully help end this war swiftly to help prevent the loss of life on both sides. I hoped our sudden appearance and use of air power would scare the Pokemon into surrendering or at least to the bargaining table. I fought for this mission along several others… and now I get to go home and explain to my superiors why we didn’t drop a single bomb. Why we just wasted thousands of pounds of fuel to do nothing…”

‘Well on to plan B…’ Varik thought. He then looked up at the man and asked, “Who controls Solaceon? What about Route 209?” Varik stood back up a change in his eyes and a slight grin on his face.

Outside Hearthome

“Who’s the damn kid?” asked one soldier looking at Jack.
The Ravager pilot replied to Jack’s question while ignoring the confused soldier, “We were pursing some Pokemon in a **** truck, and after we let it go we see a cloud of smoke from the direction of the truck. Next thing I know this guy is coming out of the smoke right were that vehicle was a few seconds later. He started telling us the Pokemon were heading east, but the second Ravager confirmed they had continued northwest. Also one of the towns he listed was east is actually due south.”
“Also the smoke didn’t come from the truck… wasn’t the right color for a oil or fuel based fire I’m thinking this idiot was in the vehicle.. popped a smoke to hide his movements from the vehicle. Too bad we have thermal imaging on the Ravager and our helmets,” added one soldier.

Mandel
Oreburgh City outskirts

"RAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Mandel screamed as he sliced at a nearby tree with his iron tail.

"How dare she!" He cried furiously attacking the tree.

"Calling me a "truly ugly individual" referring to me like I'm someone else!" He continued shouting, he had made sure he was out of earshot.

"I who at one point was willing to sacrifice everything for her only to be betrayed!" Mandel screamed firing a dark solarbeam, which he decided to call lunarbeam, toppling the tree and making a splash as it fell into a pool of water.

Mandel walked over to the pool and looked at his reflection, he certainly looked different then the last time he saw his own reflection back when he evolved he looked dark, distorted. Was Lydia right?... No. He was himself only improved, he looked at his bandana across his eye. It was covering his true self, it was a shadow of his past, it was uneeded. He pulled it off his face and tossed it in the pool, revealing the frightening image underneath. Evil, angry but strong and intimidating aswell.

He looked at his reflection in the water and spoke.

"I am Mandel the Leafeon, I was torn from my life of solitude and thrown into a world with a war I didn't start, I fought to defend mysself and others... but deformed myself in the process. I will be strong and smart in the future, finishing this war and keeping myself alive! This is who I am and nobody is going to tell me otherwise." He turned as the bandana drifted across the water and he headed back to Oreburgh.

Pokemon were shocked at the sight of his face. They stared at him, like he was a freak! How dare they...

He burst into the Armory an immovable scowl on his face he approached Lydia and looked her in the eye once again.

He didn't shout or scream he just whispered to her.

"How dare you... You do not tell me that I'm not myself, nobody, least of all you has the right to insult me like that... So guess what Lydia, this "truly ugly individual" is Mandel now and nobody will have any say otherwise... you know how much that hurt Lydia? When you called me that? When you said I wasn't me?... Do you not think I have a very good reason for being upset? All that happened the past few days maybe? No, you didn't think that did you... well now it doesn't matter, cause I'm done. See you later." Mandel finished and left the armoury to go prepare for the battle ahead.

Rumble
Oreburgh City
Armory

"We escaped together, although I'm not sure where she is now, or what became of her. We sent separate ways, for some reason..."

Lydia nodded, confirming Rumble's thoughts. Rumble frowned as he hadn't any single clue as to where she was. But she could still prove herself useful, so trying to contact her was worth it.
Rumble took his eyes off Lydia with the same frown on his face as a Gardevoir walked in the office and whispered to Hector. The genius quickly lost interest as he got lost in his thoughts again, consumed by his dark heart and hatred towards the human as he was thinking about their battle plan.

Rumble turned around and faced the map on the wall, still frowning and totally ignoring Mandel that walked in.
The Field General turned to Hector after a sudden idea. His frown had given its place to a plain, serious expression of a general.

"Arcturus, how about this? Rock type Pokemon in our fronts? They are almost unvulnerable to bullets, and they should let our forces get close to the city without having many casualties. Fight Pokemon should be following them, as their combat attacks should only be useful when we get close to the humans. Also our flying forces are able to keep the choppers and aircraft assaults away from our main force. We also should be having another force to the southeast towards the city, I suggest electric-type Pokemon, another massive attack genre of our kind. They'll be free to unleash all of their power upon the humans from the mountain there."

The maniac, seemingly surprised by his own tone which was strangely friendly, but still serious blinked his eyes a few times. He was starting to think like a real general, organising his army so that it maximize its effectiveness. But the question that had been bugging him ever since he took over the PR, was he any good as a leader? His selfish side was telling him he was the best of the best, but the newfound side, a side his friend and his love brought up, was bugging him about casualties. Rumble couldn't care about casualties, but could he share with the Pokemon a bit of his wisdom to avoid them?

Maybe.

Rumble's mind was at war with its own. Something bursted into his mind - a very strong memory.

The Reuniclus hid behind his cell's door as he heard footsteps, a woman was coming into the corridor. The woman was carrying his food; it looked like a chocolate, particularly like space food.

"Subject RL67, here is your.. what the..?"

The scientist saw the cell empty and made the mistake of turning around to the emergency button just on the wall beside her. 'RL67' floated behind her, she only managed turn around and see a terrifying smile before fainting from an intense pain on her right part of the brain.

The wicked lightning outside the building of the Ultracorp Industries lighted it up, but there was no lights inside the building. Somebody had cut off the lights. The Reuniclus, almost free, searched the file the scientists were keeping on him and the file of the Solosis-Duosion-Reuniclus evolution chain they had created right in this building. 'RL67' frowned as he read the Duosion's personality and structure. Apparently that Pokemon had two brains that were not necessarily thinking the same thoughts, meaning split personalities were formed and developed by the later stage of the evolution, the Reuniclus.

RL67's hatred could not put into words. The anger burning inside him couldn't be quelled. He took his eyes off the files and looked at his escape path: an air vent his friend the Raticate was preparing.

The sewers of Veilstone City was the nicest place RL67 had ever been into. He thanked the Raticate by giving him all the cheese he was gathering the last year from the lab - their stupid experiments with cheese betrayed them. Now that he was free, his amber eyes glowed with the darkest of passions: the passion for exterminating, torturing. The passion for adrenaline, the passion for getting into trouble.

'From now on, everyone will know me as Rumble.."

What Rumble only wanted to remember was the file about split personality. The rest of his escape from the Ultracorp Industries just bursted into his mind. He hadn't think of it in 10 years, he was so determined to be stronger and he got so absorbed by his underground lab in Oreburgh to think back.
The thoughts made him cringe, as the possibility of split personality was terrifying, even for Rumble.

Hearthome
In a cafe'

I waited for a response on the radio when the man I was waiting with said “Those Ravagers are using a Donegal secure channel. Last I heard they were engaging possible hostiles. Be patient…” He was right, I should have thought they would use a private channel. Waiting for the damn machines was starting to piss me off. I sat and waited for a little longer when the man's radio went off,
“Winchester… are we go for launch?” He let out a sigh and said, “Negative, we still don’t have the green light… Stand down… everyone just get some rest we will need it for the flight home tomorrow.” I got up to grab another coffee when he started to speak again, “I was born here… my parents were most likely killed by Pokemon. Why we just wasted thousands of pounds of fuel to do nothing…” My parents were killed to, by my own damn pokemon, Im gonna find those son of a b**** if its the last thing I do.

I turned and looked at him while I sipped my coffee. His face light up like a christmas tree. “Who controls Solaceon? What about Route 209?” the man stood back up a change in his eyes and a slight grin on his face. I thought to my self 'Oh S***' I completely forgot about Solaceon town. "I don't think its controlled by any one. If we can take it we could have the upper hand in this war. Get them while there not paying attention, I doubt they'll even notice us there." I told the man. This was our chance, Taking Solaceon wouldn't take the war but it sure would help. We could have a chance to win this.

I felt a slight pain on my leg so I checked it again, it was starting to heal. I went to the back of the cafe and grabbed the medical kit. I went to a back table and lifted my leg onto it. I grabbed so cleaning supplies for wounds. I cleaned it so It wouldn't get infected. I then wrapped it in some gauss to prevent it from getting any dirtier. I put the kit away and went back to the booth and sat down.

"I got here the same way I got to Eterna. It's a magical thing that I like to call a Blackhawk helicopter. As for the other one, I just asked around. It's hard to miss a guy walking around with weapons, a girl and a pokemon," Silence had stowed away in the bathroom Before he made it to answer the door, so Althalos couldn't of seen her through the solid wood door. Mark took a sip from his cup of water and turned his attention to the news, which he had turned on. It was all about the war, so he turned it off and got up and walked over to his bed and flopped over on it and just kinda laid there on his stomach when he remembered he needed to say something. He rolled over and sat up, then spoke "Althalos, This is Lilac, the one you were supposed to rescue, but I did instead 'cause you went crazy. She is staying here for a while. Anyways, now that your here, I would like to ask for your assistance. Rumble, my 50 BMG, on a date. Another sniper would be more useful than a distraction, which would have been Silence, the weavile that jumped onto you from a rooftop, Will you help? So I can scratch her out of this part of the deal. "

Hector Arcturus
Oreburgh
Commander's Office.

Hector was listening as Ray spoke to Lydia about Silence, when a Gardevoir entered the room and spoke to the Commander.

“Commander Hector… my name is Skyna, I was told you might need some healing.”

Hector looked to his side, where his bullet wound still remained. He had dismissed the pain for a while, and completely forgot about it throughout all of the action that had happened. It was funny, but once the Pokemon had brought it up once more, Hector began to think about it, and feel the pain. If not treated, it could be a problem. Hector nodded.

"Thank you. But I will still be doing my planning with Rumble as you tend to it, if you don't mind." He told the medic.

Hector listened to Rumble, nodding as he spoke.

"A sound strategy. That is using the effectiveness of the army to the max, while keeping casualties to a minimum. I'll have to add that we also send Steel Pokemon with the Fighting as well, as they are tough in close-range combat as well, and they have strong endurance to match Rock types."

Hector looked over a map as he determined other possible strategies for their forces.

"But if they do intend to attack us here in Oreburgh, we have to decide quickly: do we make a quick assault on their main HQ, or stay here and defend Oreburgh with all our might? We can't divide our forces into two and do both. It would be too dangerous, and not very productive."

Lydia
Oreburgh City
Armory

A Gardevoir entered the Armory, approaching Hector and whispering a few things to him. The Zorua couldn't bother to try and listen, as she was slowly examining the pokemon. The psychic pokemon appeared to fit the description of the one the man from the hospital had explained to her. Although it went against some of her instincts, she'd tell the man she had found his partner. And she'd keep a close eye on the pokemon until she did.

The Leafeon ran back into the Base quickly, his eyes narrowed at Lydia with a scowl written into his face. His bandanna was also gone, revealing the black, distorted flesh around his eye. The Zorua merely kept her focus off of it. The pokemon merely walked up to her, only a few inches away as he began to whisper. Only her large ears could pick up the tiny sounds.

"How dare you... You do not tell me that I'm not myself, nobody, least of all you has the right to insult me like that... So guess what Lydia, this 'truly ugly individual' is Mandel now and nobody will have any say otherwise... you know how much that hurt Lydia? When you called me that? When you said I wasn't me?... Do you not think I have a very good reason for being upset? All that happened the past few days maybe? No, you didn't think that did you... well now it doesn't matter, cause I'm done. See you later".

The Leafeon left without another word. Lydia found it odd, him running in and out just to speak with her. He had seemed slightly threatening, but throughout his small speech she had kept her small smile. It was still there, too, eyes gentle and following him as he had left. But deep down inside she felt bad for being so cruel to Mandel.

If you want to go talk to him I can watch over your child for you," a voice said in her mind, it coming from the Gardevoir. Glancing back at her, she nodded, letting the little pokemon run over to the psychic pokemon without any 'complaints' coming from the baby. She shifted to Hector and Rumble. "Excuse me for a second, please". Without permission the Zorua walked away, looking back at her child before exiting. She'd have to catch up to Mandel, no matter how far he had already went. Her large eyes caught him in view. The pokemon was just walking, Lydia not sure where. Her tiny feet were fast, and they slowed just before she tapped him on the shoulder.

She didn't take her gentle look off of her 'friend', even if her smile quickly disappeared. She sighed, "I know I used you. I can't feel more guilty about it. But I've already apologized a million times. Why can't we both drop it and move on?"

She paused for a moment, quickly continuing on. "I said you weren't yourself, because you've changed...your eyes and pendant tell me that," Lydia said, gesturing to the black pendant that was once a green color, "That, and lately you've been acting just plain stupid, but you've always been that way haven't you?". She chuckled at her own joke, only stopping as she figured it hadn't gone well with the Leafeon. "...well, you probably won't understand, but I miss the old you; the funny, stupid you. The one who ended up making all of those silly, heroic actions which were only half useful. That Leafeon that would make me smile by just being himself..." her grin had grown back, her eyes looking past Mandel. They only ended up snapped back, along with her slightly angered facial expression, "Not the serious one".

"If your going to blame War for your sudden growth spurt, I'll have you know that you can grow stronger without making a jerk out of yourself. And I know your not really that bad, but lately I've had my suspicions. I don't know what to think of you anymore- even if I want to be able to call you a 'friend' ".

Her eyes had slowly been glowing harsher and harsher, but stopped once the Zorua had took notice of it. She shook her head, breaking her stare from Mandel. The Leafeon probably hated her. Best she stopped now. Turning, she let her child linger behind as she began walking back to the armory. Lydia couldn't keep Rumble waiting.

Varik smiled and said, “Well then I have to go home at least once before I leave… perhaps my parents will still be alive.” He then seemed to be deep in thought about better days. Just then one of the Ravagers walked up and the two soldiers riding on it jumped off. Varik grabbed his bags and walked outside. He then walked up to the Ravager and the two soldiers and motioned to the man he had been talking to and said, “I got your first recruit… have fun.”

Varik then proceeded to walk over to a nearby HR jeep and jumped in telling the HR soldier who was guarding it he would be back the next morning. The HR member started to argue with him and one of the paratroopers walked over and helped Varik “convince” the man to let him “borrow” the jeep, and the man’s gun as well.

While Varik drove off, the top of the Ravager opened up and a very attractive woman in her mid twenties with short blond hair and green eyes climbed out. She was wearing an almost skin tight suit with glowing wires running all over it. She walked up to Jason and sized him up. Smiling she said with a sweet yet sinister voice, “Try to make this fit… you will need it to pilot the walker.” She then tossed him a suit that looked like hers… it looked like it would be a little big for Jason, but not too bad. “Well what are you waiting for strip down and put this on. We don’t have all day,” said the woman in a teasing manner.
Varik drove down Route 109 and right before reaching the town of Solaceon he stopped close to a forest. Looking at the forest, he pulled out of his helmet bag and put the aviator’s helmet and mask on the jeep’s dash, while he opened a secret compartment in the bag. Pulling out two small pokeballs he clicked the buttons on them releasing the two Pokemon. A Snivy and Serperior appeared next to the vehicle. Varik stepped out of the jeep stepping on the pokeballs crushing them under his boot.

The Serperior looked at Varik and said, “Thank you for saving us.”

“Wish I could have saved more,” said Varik as he began to take off his boots then flight suit. “I need you to “kill me,” I got tired of waiting to for plan A… humans here are disorganized or something,” added the human as he stripped down to his boxers. He then pulled out black sneak suit with a mask out of one of his other bags. The Serperior nodded as it looked down at her daughter that was leaning against her.

“Why did you do it?” asked the Serperior looking at the human.

“Not all humans want to exterminate Pokemon, and a few of us have been against this whole slavery things for years. I’ve been a part of an underground group that has been trying to get rid of pokemon training for years… without much success. It’s amazing how cultural norms and media can blind people to the truth that is right in front of them,” replied Varik as he quickly put his new clothes on.

“Why did you risk everything to save me and my daughter I meant? You risked everything to do it,” asked the Serperior who had heard of the group Varik belonged to.

Varik let out a sigh his eyes full of guilt as he pulled the mask over his mouth and nose, “I have many sins to atone for.” He then began to arrange his previous clothes in the jeep. “Come on let’s get a good distance away and blow this thing,” said Varik as he pulled out a special pistol that fired darts instead of bullets, and then grabbed the rifle.

The three got a good distance away and then both the Serperior and Snivy focused for a while and finally released two Solar Beams hitting the jeep right where Varik had been sitting. They had used the moon’s reflection of sun light to charge their attacks, but it had taken them three times as long to charge. Varik was worried they would get spotted while he waited, but finally the deed was done. There was nothing left of the driver’s side of the jeep, had Varik actually been in it he would have been completely evaporated by the two massive energy beams. They then entered the forest, Leaving the burning remains of a jeep behind.

“Why are you betraying your fellow humans?” asked the Serperior.

“I’m not… the order’s goal is to restore true friendship between Pokemon and humans. End the war for good, and prevent the future possibility of one happening again. We already had the previous Archon assassinated… He was a blood thirsty monster that called for the extermination of all Pokemon. Thankfully his cousin seems to have a better heart than him,” said Varik wondering if the assassination was the right move to do. Varik put colored contacts in his eyes to change their color to dark green while he considered the actions of his organization.

“Why are you here? I understand your goal, but why fake your death now when you could have been more useful still as an ally of the HR?” asked the Serperior.

“Time was running out… and I lost patience. My personal goal is to find my friend, who hopefully still lives in this forest, and make sure she is ok. We have another agent in my squadron, and they can help if something comes up,” replied Varik showing the Pokemon his compact radio. He then added, “You can get out of here if you like… Humans control this area so be careful, and if they do see me I would prefer them not see us together. If you see a blue Kirlia or Gardevoir named Skyna tell her Varik didn’t forget about her, and he is looking for her.”

The Serperior smiled and bowed to the human and said, “Thank you for saving me and my daughter. I hope you’re successful in your mission, and if I see her I will let her know. I will remember these actions and try to do my part to let my fellow Pokemon know that not all humans are horrible.”

Varik nodded as the Serperior disappeared into the forest. Sighing Varik began to search the strangely quiet forest. After several hours he came across a small area where a pile of rotten wood had collapsed in on itself. Kneeling down Varik looked at what remained of his and Skyna’s secret hide out.

---

The young Varik popped his head up to look through the peephole on their poorly made fort. Next to him a ralts sat there shaking in fear. While they usually just used this fort as their “home base” for the “Freedom Fighters”, now they were trying to hide from a Duskull that had appeared while they were playing at night. The Ghost pokemon carefully surveyed the area looking for the two. Varik looked over at the ralts… perhaps it didn’t see her.
Varik grabbed a rock and charged out of the hideout throwing the rock at the Duskull. The rock hit it straight in the forehead. “VARIK!” screamed Skyna telepathically as the boy ran off with the Duskull in pursuit. Varik had a lead on the Duskull until it released a horrid scream that seemed to pierce Varik’s skull. The boy put his hands over his ears to try in stop the noise, but he failed to see the root in his path while doing it. Tripping over the root Varik fell to the ground. He quickly flipped over to see the Duskull right there. Grabbing a stick Varik started to swing it defensively, but it wasn’t enough to fend off the ghost. Varik felt an unworldly chill wash over his body as the Ghost began to surround him with its strange body.

All of a sudden the Duskull was hit with a blast of psychic energy. It turned around to see a small Ralts standing there. Before it glared at the shaking psychic pokemon and it slowly started toward it. Varik jumped to his feet and grabbed a large rock as he heard a terrifying scream from the ghost. He charged forward with the large rock and slammed it into the ghost pokemon’s skull and at the same time the Ralts unleashed a last desperate attack on the ghost. The combined attacks caused the ghost to waver as its eye dimmed, and a few seconds later it faded away.

Varik dropped the rock and ran over to his friend who looked very weak. As he picked her up Varik half cried, “Skyna don’t die on me!” She then began to glow a strange white color as Varik started crying even more while begging, “Don’t leave me please don’t leave me!” He pulled her in close hoping to keep her from fading away while closing his eyes.

All of a sudden he heard her slightly weak voice saying in his head, “Varik stop being sooo dramatic… I’m evolving.” Pulling his head back from Skyna’s shoulder and opening his eyes, Varik watched as the Ralts finished evolving into a Kirlia. The Kirlia looked up at him smiling and then she suddenly blushed and shyly asked, “Varik do you think I'm pretty?”

---

Varik sighed with a smile as he stood up. Skyna had to be alive the question was where was she.

---

Oreburgh

Skyna focused her powers and focused on using a Healing Pulse on Hector’s wound. The pulses of energy gently sealed the Commander’s wounds. She then looked at the battle plan, and then at the map. Just then Mandel burst into the room and screamed something at Lydia. She was confused at what had just happened. She carefully looked over at the Zorua with a confused look. She telepathically said to Lydia, “If you want to go talk to him I can watch over your child for you.” By the time she said it to the Zorua she had already left with the child. She sighed and slowly left the room careful to to disturb the two leaders planning. She walked by the Zorua, who was on her way back to the room. She looked down at the young mother who returned to the briefing room without her child. She stared at the Zorua for a second then spoke telepathically to the Zorua, "Please don't go... stay back with your child... something horrible is going to happen."

After our discovery that Solaceon town wasn't taken by any one, the man said “Well then I have to go home at least once before I leave… perhaps my parents will still be alive.” I gave him a salute as he walked to the nearby jeep and drove off. Going to see if his parents were alive didn't really make sense to me, I remember him saying he was born here.If his parents where alive they would be here, Plus were would he even think about going to find them. I thought about it for a while but no matter. There's no time to waste on a possible conspiracy. A few Ravager finally showed up after countless hours of waiting.

The top of the Ravager opened up and a very attractive woman in her mid twenties with short blond hair and green eyes climbed out. She was wearing an almost skin tight suit with glowing wires running all over it."Damn," I said in my head. She walked up to me and sized me up. Smiling she said with a sweet yet sinister voice, “Try to make this fit… you will need it to pilot the walker.” She then tossed me a suit that looked a lot like hers.I sat and looked at it for a second, Then looked at her. I glanced at the Ravager, I couldn't believe I was going to drive that thing. “Well what are you waiting for strip down and put this on. We don’t have all day,” she in a teasing manner.

I changed from my normal clothes to the Ravager outfit. It was bit big but It was very tight. I saw the women talking to another Ravager pilot. I looked at the Ravager, It was pretty big. I couldn't wait to Pilot it, It felt like it was going to be a pain in the a**. I looked at the helmet she was wearing when she got off the Ravager. I didn't pick it up or anything, just a look. It looked pretty high-Tec, I could tell it had thermal imaging and such. I waited for the Ravager pilot to teach me how the hell to pilot this thing.

"Althalos, This is Lilac, the one you were supposed to rescue, but I did instead 'cause you went crazy. " Mark said and flopped on his bed. Althalos thought for a moment and then accepted. "Sure thing, but what are you gonna do with Silence then? She wanted me to save Lilac, so I'm assuming that you, Lilac, don't exactly want her kicked out." Althalos sat on the couch and started absentmindedly sheathing and unsheathing the blade. It's quiet whoosh as it entered and exited the bracer cleared Althalos' mind. His mind was almost completely blank as he just concentrated on the sound. The two parts of his mind that wasn't blank was the part of his memory that held his desire for revenge against his former friend, Blitz, and the other trying to remind him of the good times that they did have together, trying to make him forgive. Althalos made a barely audible whimper and shook a little as he tried pushing those thoughts from his mind, but nothing he could think of helped. The war of thoughts in his brain finally came to an end as the side wanting revenge faded a little. Now all he could think about was the times before the war. These thoughts made him want to cry, knowing that it would never be like that again. The thoughts of revenge came back, and this time Althalos backed them up, now giving an angry grumble.

"A sound strategy. That is using the effectiveness of the army to the max, while keeping casualties to a minimum. I'll have to add that we also send Steel Pokemon with the Fighting as well, as they are tough in close-range combat as well, and they have strong endurance to match Rock types."

Hector added while having the Gardevoir heal his feet. Rumble's amber eyes widened making him look like a giant yanmega. The wound on his feet, it seemed like a long and strong bullet had gone through him. Lydia muttered something and left the room, Rumble's stare following her.

If I was her, I'd try to know as many things about the army as possible.. the attack plan is important, even for a spy..
He shook off his thoughts and listened to Hector continuing to speak.

"But if they do intend to attack us here in Oreburgh, we have to decide quickly: do we make a quick assault on their main HQ, or stay here and defend Oreburgh with all our might? We can't divide our forces into two and do both. It would be too dangerous, and not very productive."

Rumble's left ear fell as he was too focused on their strategy and Hector's feet.

"With a glance at our army, we're simply not enough for two wars. Now that we came this far, we won't die defending, we'll die attacking. Like I said before, I propose we charge to Shinyshore, but sent our spies first to list their defenses and find us a way through or into them."

Rumble stared at Hector's feet with his large eyes and without showing anything but his seriousness.

"And how did you get that? Do we maybe have other human forces to worry about, like assasins?"

Mandel listened to everything Lydias said, but only spoke when she began to walk away.

"......Wait. We need to get some things straight... the person I used to be, the one I still am deep down must disapear... because he can't bear to live anymore. When you betrayed me to save Wade you didn't just break our friendship, you broke my heart. I got beaten and pushed around before and whenever I tried to fight back... I was never good enough I almost gave up but..." he turned to look at her.

"You kept me going, you inspired me to blast through. Heck in order to save you I destroyed a chopper and almost let myself die so you could live! But then... I found out that the whole time you were using me... to save the person you really cared about. That tore me apart. I couldn't live with myself, being so weak and pitiful, unable to do anything, so, I decided that if I wasn't myself if I was someone different... I would be OK and now look at me..."

Mandel fell on his knees.

"I'm sorry Lydia, the last thing I wanted to do was hurt you... I... I just don't know what to do anymore." He had been so wrong.

Mandel looked at his black pendant, Celebi would have been disgusted.

"I am Mandel the Leafeon, I ruined everything about my life through my own stupid mistakes, I can't fight for myself or defend those I care about, I'm nothing but a waste...this is who I am..." Mandel began to cry.

"I'm such an idiot...why couldn't I just have.... ugh..."

Mark's voice shook Althalos from his thoughts. He was grateful for that. "J-just some bad memories, That's all. So, may I ask as to why we're stuck here until tomorrow?" he changed the subject. Blitz wasn't someone he wanted to have the topic set on. Althalos went over to the large window and just stared at the ocean. It would have once been filled with people playing with their pokemon, but now the water was so polluted with repel that not even a magikarp could swim through it, much less a human. The water was even a strange shade of green. Before the fight in Jubilife, he would have never of noticed it, just thinking it was as much a part of life as was eating. Now it just disgusted him. He turned away and sat down next to Mark again.

Spinning around he walked back to the exact spot he was sitting and sat down kicking his feet up onto the table.

Hearing voices coming from the front of the house Lilac walked toward them wondering who else could be here. She entered the room to find Mark talking to a young boy. "Althalos, this is Lilac, the one you were supposed to rescue, but I did instead 'cause you went crazy. She is staying here for awhile," Mark said. Althalos didn't answer Mark at first, but just looked down; then after a few minutes of silence, he started talking. "Blitz was my pokemon. I got him quite a few years ago. All I ever did was treat him with kindness and respect. As did my family. He returned that respect and love until people started talking about the pokemon rebelling." Althalos told Mark everything. He didn't care if Lilac or Silence heard. "He killed my family. All of them, my mom and dad, my two younger brothers and my newborn sister..." he sniffed and his eyes were watering. "He should have killed me, but he didn't. He just threw me against a wall, knocked me out and left." He didn't want to talk about that anymore, so he tried putting on a straight face and changing the subject. "My helicopter is down at the helipad refueling as we speak," Althalos said. "Or is leaving tomorrow part of your plan too?" Althalos then looked at Lilac, who seemed a little sad or disappointed, Althalos couldn't tell, herself. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Rumble

"Why don't we just talk about this later?" Rumble said in a simple tone to Hector, while staring at the Gardevoir as well. And with that, he left the medic do the job they were assigned to and walked out of the room with the huge smile of success covering half of his face.

The psychic type Pokemon walked down the stairs. Other Pokemon, medics, members and spies were running around, saluting him if they got the chance. Rumble never returned the salute. He knew respect simply wasn't enough.
He entered the room of the psychic Pokemon Communications. The Xatus he sent in each city should hear his message. The room wasn't very busy, about 20 psychic-type Pokemon formed a circle.
They broke the circle to look at his crystal teeth. He didn't wait for a salute or a cringe, psychics wouldn't fall for his tricks. Psychics looked straight into his soul as he was trying to do that with his eyes. The psychic capabilities of Rumble had been greatly weakened ever since he was using human weapons - now that his soul was twisted that way, the only way he can use his psychic powers is to communicate, move objects and cause psychic explosions which are practically invisible glass material, bumping heavy on the spot.

Rumble's smile remained on his face as he looked each and every member of the communication station.

"We need all the fire and water Pokemon back"

The psychic Pokemon stood still. Rumble raised his eyebrows. I'm not gonna tell you twice.
He simply walked away and headed to the hall outside the armory, just to see Lydia and Mandel.

"Sorry folks, I don't want to interrupt.. Huh? The tough guy's crying now! I thought the war changed you, kid. Maybe I was wrong?"

Rumble laughed as he ignored Mandel on purpose and turned to Lydia, winking. She was steady, he knew she told Mandel something he wouldn't agree with, something to soften him. Thinking of this, his expression turned dead serious again, in the sudden manner of a maniac.

"Lydia, come with me."

Rumble demanded with a threatening voice and closed his gel fingers. An invisible glass force gently pushed Lydia towards him as he was walking away from Mandel.

When he dragged her towards the alley next to the armory, he turned and faced her with a frown giving off anger as well. His voice wasn't only intimidating, it was threatening.

"I don't know what the heck happened between you two - I can guess. But this is war, keeping your feelings out of it. UNDERSTOOD?"

He grinded his teeth in anger, still examining her black fur.

"Don't ruin this kid. He had caused so much trouble when he was all happy-go-lucky and now he survived a suicidal assault in Hearthome."

Rumble, acknowledging he had gone too far with threatening Lydia, changed his expression to his fake cute one, like he was talking to his baby friend. He also perked up his ears to protect his head from the intense sunlight.

"Speakin' of war, do you have any idea what's going to happen in the next battle? Hector says he has found a weapon. And what could possibly be hidden underground? Hm?"

The maniac's smile was back on, challenging Lydia to find out by herself. His eyes weren't visible as the rays of the sun hit his gel making it seem white. White was how Rumble was feeling all this time, from when he joined the RP; all the smiles, all the glares, all the voices, all the threats, were fake.

True feelings are weakness, my friend...

He wasn't sure why he told Lydia that, but his killer instinct was telling him he needed even more control over her.

“Well don’t you look cute,” teased the woman as she motioned the man over to the walker. She grinned as she said, “We brought the Ravagers here to see how easily we could train people on them… and field test them without risking our own troops. So you’re a guinea pig… I hope for your sake these things are as amazing as R&D make them sound. Now the special suit and helmet actually take a reading from your own nervous system, and sense of balance and transfers it as control interfaces for the machine. So in a manner of speaking the Ravager almost becomes an extension of your own body. Well all of the movement functions at least… turret is more conventional controlled with that control stick.” She then pointed at a control stick on the right side. “Ok when you first interface with the machine press that button, and be prepared for a shock… followed by one of the weirdest feelings of your life as the machine interfaces with your brain. Before you exit the machine MAKE SURE to press the button again or you’re going to make it to do an “exit dance” while you try to climb out,” added the woman.
The woman wasn’t lying about the weird feeling across his body, but the interfacing aspect made it easy to learn after learning how to make it stand and walk around some. After an hour or two the woman clapped as Jason maneuvered the machine through the town without running into anything. She then said over her hand radio, “Ok here is weapon training abbreviated edition: move the right stick to move the turret. You will notice the top part of your view screen will move with it. The aiming sights in the middle are where you should land the shell. The computer tries to adjust for wind and distance automatically for a good distance… which depends on weather and such. Now on your right control stick there are three buttons on top. Each one corresponds with a different ammunition type. For each ammunition type the sights should change to correspond. Most of the time you will use the explosive rounds or the button on the far right, this fires your basic explosive shell that has three fuse settings: Piercing, explode on contact, and air burst switch the settings by pressing the button again.
Piercing setting delays the explosion for less than a second allowing the shell to hopefully penetrate into a target before denotation. It’s the most effective against harden targets. Explode on contact is like its name and hopefully you don’t need an explanation on that one. Air burst is the hardest to set but most effective for killing all the little critters. It sets the shell to detonate at a specific time or distance. This allows the explosion to throw shrapnel further. The other two round types are the Fire Drake, and the Acid round.
The Fire Drake is an improvement on the Beehive round… it basically turns your 105 into the world’s deadliest shotgun. A small explosive causes the round to fragment and ignites a highly flammable jelly on the now fragmenting needle like shards. It’s a short range weapon and is also great for a quick cook out if you hit a Miltank with it. The shards turn it into hamburger and the flames cook it. Dinner for the whole family in less than a second!
The Acid round is the least effective damage wise, but it will strike fear in any opponent. A very corrosive liquid is spread when the shell air detonates right before impact with a target melting through flesh, bone, steel, rock, you name it! Problem is it often neutralizes out quickly limiting its damage, but if the target survives they will be in massive amounts of pain. For enemies around the target watching their buddy melt away in agony will surely cause them to rethink their situation. A well used Acid round can quickly crush morale, and I have seen it single handedly cause a panicked retreat.”
The woman stopped talking and smiled at the Ravager before asking, “You have any questions? If not then good hunting!”

Varik climbed through the window of the neglected house he used to call home. He had just searched the forest for hours, but no sign of Skyna or any of the other ralts evolution line pokemon she lived with as a family unit. Sighing to himself he entered what used to be the living room and he looked around. There wasn’t much there anymore other than a broken chair and a few unwanted decorations. Sitting down and resting his head against the wall he quickly feel asleep.

---

“The coast is clear, the parents are in bed,” whispered Varik out of the window. He then leaned over the side and helped the Kirlia get through the window. “This episode is awesome you’re going to love it,” said the human as the Kirlia hopped down from the window. Before Skyna’s feet could touch the floor her friend was already positioning himself on the couch to watch the pre recorded TV show.

The Kirlia looked a little frustrated and asked, “Why didn’t you wait for me to watch it?” She carefully walked over to the couch and sat down as the opening title for the sci fi cartoon started.

“Well I can’t let my parents get suspicious,” replied Varik with a grin.

Skyna sighed and shook her head while muttering, “Likely excuse.”

Varik was already focused on the show so Skyna just turned her attention to to watch the cartoon about humans battling aliens using special fighter jets that could transform into mechs. This had become a tradition for the two friends for midnight Saturday even since Varik showed Skyna the show. They had a couple of close calls, but Varik’s parents never did figure out why their kid would get up a midnight to watch a cartoon.

---

Varik woke up from his dream of his past. Shaking his head he muttered, “**** I don’t have time to sleep.” He then walked over to the kitchen and started to dye his hair black in the busted old sink that looked like it had been neglected for years. Looking up into the mirror Varik said out loud, "Please still be alive... I need to tell you sorry, even if its the last thing I do."

"......Wait," Mandel said, the Zorua turning her head to face him. Her baby was slowly following behind. "We need to get some things straight... the person I used to be, the one I still am deep down must disappear... because he can't bear to live anymore. I couldn't live with myself, being so weak and pitiful, unable to do anything, so, I decided that if I wasn't myself if I was someone different... I would be OK and now look at me...".

The Leafeon almost immediately fell on his knees, her large ears lowering. She had been oblivious to the fact Mandel had loved her, and she had transformed him. Lydia let him continue. "I'm sorry Lydia, the last thing I wanted to do was hurt you... I... I just don't know what to do anymore," Mandel said, glancing at his darkened pendant, "I am Mandel the Leafeon, I ruined everything about my life through my own stupid mistakes, I can't fight for myself or defend those I care about, I'm nothing but a waste...this is who I am...". Growing weaker, the grass pokemon broke out in tears, the Zorua's own eyes growing darker at the sight. She was at a loss for words.

"Sorry folks, I don't want to interrupt.. Huh? The tough guy's crying now! I thought the war changed you, kid. Maybe I was wrong?"

Her head flipped around to see Rumble, laughing aloud at Mandel although his look was quickly focused on her. The Reuniclus shoot a slightly friendly wink at her before having his crazy expressions grow back. He knew she had opened up his heart; something she did to many pokemon, purposely or not. Lydia knew he wasn't pleased with her intentions. It was too bad he was too late. "Lydia, come with me," her larger friend demanded, an odd wall lightly moving her away from the Leafeon. It was slightly shocking at first, nonetheless she followed, the baby running behind to catch up.

It wasn't too long before they stopped, the group pausing in the alley. The Zorua child was panting, Lydia noticing and allowing the baby to climb into her mane, as her neckfur was large enough to fit the pokemon inside, despite the child's head which poked out. Rumble turned to face her with sharp, glowing eyes. "I don't know what the heck happened between you two - I can guess. But this is war, keeping your feelings out of it. UNDERSTOOD?" he threatened with his large voice, harsh and frightening. It didn't scare her, but she flinched as she took in the threat. The Reuniclus was angry, his crystallized teeth grinding together, "Don't ruin this kid. He had caused so much trouble when he was all happy-go-lucky and now he survived a suicidal assault in Hearthome".

She didn't want to disobey her friend, but his thoughts went against her in this particular situation. Her expressions were blank on the outside, but she knew the Reuniclus could see her anger building up. Confirming her suspicions, Rumble softened his look to the fake, cute one he would sometimes use. "Speakin' of war, do you have any idea what's going to happen in the next battle? Hector says he has found a weapon. And what could possibly be hidden underground? Hm?" he said to Lydia, silently challenging her to figure out the solution.

The Zorua denied it immediately, her eyes flashing red a single time. "I don't know, but feel free to enlighten me," she replied, accepting the fact she hadn't been listening. It was then the Reuniclus' telepathy hit her, his evil grin at the same time. "True feelings are weakness, my friend...". Lydia's blank expression went cold in absolute denial, shaking her head. "That's where your wrong, Rumble. Feelings, whether you know them or not, can be strong too. They control us; all of us," she spoke out, putting emphasis on the last few words.

"The vengeful feel you have for humans is another emotion. One that has brought you far, if I'm correct, Rumble? Of course, there are several other emotions that have different effects...but that would never make them useless, as they all serve a purpose. You might disagree, but then again, you don't have the experience of 'true' feelings like I do". Her smile was slowly regaining back, even if it was just a small one. "I'm trying to help Mandel, if you realize it or not. I don't want him to be ruined by War, unlike you, who seem perfectly fine crushing his spirit...and one more thing. You can be powerful and expressive at the same time..."

She sat down on the ground, her gentle smile still there, although the Zorua was tempted to hide it away, Rumble making her feel uneasy. Her eyes went elsewhere in deep thought.

Ravager Training

I got suited up and walked over to the Ravager and stared at it for about 10 to 20 minutes. "I can't believe Im going to drive this thing!" I said under my breath.I glanced back at the Woman when she said “Well don’t you look cute,” as she motioned me to the walker. I walked over and she began informing me about what was going on and about the controls.

“We brought the Ravagers here to see how easily we could train people on them… and field test them without risking our own troops. Well all of the movement functions at least… turret is more conventional controlled with that control stick.” she then pointed to a control stick to the right of where I would be at. It seemed to be easier than I though it would be. It's like Im just walking around equipped with a few tons of armor, cannons, and such.

The woman then started to speak again. “Ok when you first interface with the machine press that button, and be prepared for a shock… followed by one of the weirdest feelings of your life as the machine interfaces with your brain. Before you exit the machine MAKE SURE to press the button again or you’re going to make it to do an “exit dance” while you try to climb out,” I'm guessing if I don't press that Im either going to get flung out of the machine, or get squashed and need about 40 different surgeries. It seemed very important to press the button so I made sure that was at the top of my "Ravager to do list" inside my head.

The Woman gave me my helmet which I put on and stepped into the Ravager for the first time. I hooked my self up as I was supposed to and got ready to press the button. I was about to press it when I remembered what she said about that shock feeling. I prepared my self and took a deep breath. "3... 2... 1... PRESS!" I pressed it and I got shocked out of reality.

------FLASH BACK------

"Stalker 1 this is Stalker 2 come in over."
"Stalker 2 this is Stalker 1 I read you loud and clear."
"Stalker 1 do you have a visual on that group of targets down by that building over there."
"Uhh, Im searching for it now.... Found em'. I have Visual on the targets."
"Great, We need you to neutralize those targets."
"Jason, man the minigun and take out those targets down by the building at 2 o'clock"
Jason moved from his seat on the chopper and got onto the minigun.
"I have a visual on the targets Im taken em down now."
Jason fires onto targets. He looks to the right of the targets and notices a pokemon charging a hyper beam.
"S***! Hyper beam look out!" Jason exclaims as the Beam flashes at Jason's eyes blinding him while the chopper spins out of control.
Jason blacks out and awakens to a team mate firing at incoming pokemon.
The soldier glances at Jason and turns back to fire. The soldier quickly moves backwards to Jason while firing. "Fox, Don't die on me!" the soldier said as he moved backwards. The soldier hid behind the crashed helicopter and pulled out a smoke from his bag. He pulled the pin and tossed it. The smoke began coming from the grenade while the soldier moved to Jason and picked him up.
"Im getting you outta here fox! Leave no man behind" The soldier said while picking up Jason. The soldier carried Jason to a near by building and set him down behind a few tables the soldier tipped over. Jason then blacked out once more.

"Oh s****" I said under my breath in the Ravager. I was breathing deeply while I could here the Woman talking into the radio on my Helmet. "It's a rush isn't it. Take a second to get familiar with the controls and your HUD then take a few laps around the town. Remember, don't get to destructive" she said jokingly. I began moving about the town when I noticed a few buttons laid across the dash board. I left them alone because I didn't really feel like screwing anything up. After about an hour or two of walking around the town, I came back to where I got into the Ravager. She then began telling me over her hand radio about the weapon controls. Off of what she told me, This thing seemed like it should have won this war before it started. I walked it over to a few destroyed trucks and I tested what this thing could do. It was amazing, I was ready to take this to war.

Silence pricked her ears when Althalos spoked. Any information could be useful. "Blitz was my pokemon. I got him quite a few years ago. All I did was treat him with kindness and respect. As did my family," he said. Silence felt some disappointment that it wasn't anything about the HR but continued listening out of curiosity. "He returned that respect and love until people started talking about the pokemon rebelling. He killed my family. All of them, my mom and dad, my two younger brothers and my newborn sister..." Silence noticed his eyes starting to water. "He should have killed me but he didn't. He just threw me against a wall, knocked me out and left." He tried to put on a straight face but Silence could still see the emotions in his eyes. This was the first time she'd heard a story like this from a human and it surprised her to say the least.

'So pokemon aren't the only ones who have been hurt... Poor kid...' She mentally shook off these thoughts. She couldn't sympathize with him. He was human so that made him her enemy.

"My helicopter is down at the helipad refueling as we speak," Althalos said, apparently trying to change the subject. "Or is leaving tomorrow part of your plan to?"

Silence decided now was a good time for her to leave. She turned and nodded awkwardly to Lilac. "Take care," she said than went out the door. She looked left than right to make sure all was clear than took off down the street at top speed. When she got out of Sunnyshore she slowed her pace though she was still moving swiftly. The faster she got back to Oreburgh the better.

The mother seemed to ignore the Gardevoir’s warning, but she wasn’t the first. Most didn’t listen to Skyna, and she was used to it by now. It didn’t help that she didn’t know what to think herself, but she knew something horrible was going to happen. She had foreseen it… She had a vision of the possible future, and it was of destruction that would leave a great scar in the region. She had seen the results of some terrible weapon that would wipe out everything in its path, and leave the few remaining survivors to die of some horrid unknown sickness that would affect both human and Pokemon. She didn’t know who would use the weapon or where it would hit, but she guessed it would be used in a key battle. Her future telling abilities were extremely limited and very vague. She had no ability to control what she saw and they were always seemed incomplete. She was suddenly snapped back to reality by Mandel’s crying.

She heard him say he had ruined everything about his life, and his self depreciating talk. She walked over to him and softly kneeled next to him and said in a soft, soothing voice while carefully using a healing pulse to heal some of his wounds, “Mandel you are not a waste and your life is not a waste. As long as you’re alive there is always hope on the horizon. Sometimes we have to sink to our lowest point before we can rise to greatness.” Skyna wasn’t sure if she was helping but she wanted to try. In a world of pain and hatred she wanted to be that one who stood above it all, but lately it felt she too was being consumed by the darkness that surrounded her.

Hector agreed. It was the time to strike, not defend. They started this war, and now, they were going to finish it.

"And how did you get that? Do we maybe have other human forces to worry about, like assasins?"

Hector looked at the wound, and spoke.

"It was a specialist, someone I ran into before. But pay it no mind. We have work to do."

"Why don't we just talk about this later?" Rumble said, leaving to let the Gardevoir finish her mending. Hector nodded to Rumble as he left. Hector waited while the Gardevoir finished her healing, thinking to himself on what should be done. In his mind, he was still deciding, but he felt in his heart, he had already decided. It was time to end this. Hector would also get a chance to use the weapon Jun and he discovered, the Legendary Pokemon.

With his wound relatively healed, Hector nodded to the Gardevoir, and departed.

He found Rumble talking with Lydia next to the armory.

"Silence wanted to protect you, so she was nothing like Blitz. She still cares about you, otherwise, you would probably be dead," he turned his gaze back to the polluted sea, but quickly looked away. "I used to think that a bond between two friends, especially a human and pokemon, was eternal. I don't know what to believe now. I've been completely betrayed by Blitz, and then Lydia. I fired a few shots of each type of weaponry and moved the Ravager to the Cafe' area. I pressed the button I was supposed to press before getting out and opened the hatch to get out of the Ravager. I hopped out and took off my helmet. I was really sweaty from the outfit and the helmet. I grabbed my other clothes from my back pack and switched the clothes out. "Keep that uniform and the helmet, your gonna need em soon." the Woman said. I stuffed the clothes in the bottom of my back pack after I got changed. "We have some more soldiers on the way for training so if you want you can take that lift to SunnyShore. I don't know if its safe but Im sure a man like you could take care of him self right?" The woman said. "Yeah, Ill take the lift. Thanks." I replied. "Your welcome." she said.

About 2 hours later a chopper carrying 10 to 15 soldiers arrived. They all got off a few of them looked nervous. "It's not as hard as you think" I told them.
A few of them nodded with a smile on there face. The pilot of the chopper motioned me to the helicopter. It was time for lift off, I grabbed my back pack and hooked my Ravager Helmet to the side. I gave all the soldiers and the woman a salute and boarded the chopper.

"It's a'o.k command, Avenger 2 has it covered" the pilot said. 5 minutes later command came in again. "Uhhhh.. Before I was almost killed a helicopter showed up and dropped a few soldiers to help me out. The soldier on the minigun shot a few pokemon when the chopper was shot down. "Team! Defend these positions!" a voice said behind me. It was the Lieutenant I met back at the HR base. "Lieutenant! It sure is great to see you again!" I called to him. He glanced at me and nodded his head and continued firing. We fired at the pokemon until I saw a Charizard shooting fire balls. "Holy, S***." I stood up dropped my guns and picked up my 44. Magnum. "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU RAT AGAIN!" Jason's dad yelled.

The Lieutenant saw me fighting with the Charizard and yelled "Team! Draw their fire this way! We need to buy him some time!"

The Charizard threw me onto the floor. It approached me about to stomp on me when I kicked it in the stomach. The Charizard was bent over in pain. I got up and upper-cutted it in the jaw. It fell backwards in pain, I stomped on its leg then kicked it in the side continuously. "See how it feels you Son of a B****! Huh? Huh? Huh?" The Charizard was badly injured. "NO you can't! If I cared about everyone in here we'd all be dead meats!"
Rumble exploded in anger and got his face closer to Lydia with his large amber eyes not reflecting anything but insanity. His voice was still intimidating, imbued with psychic power in case it cracks from the emphasis he put into his words. But then he tried to calm down as his rational side realised it's not right.. but that sense was lessening and lessening with the time.

"I feel vengeful for the humans, but that makes me waste my time with stupid city invasions just to feel the risk and the touch of adrenaline. Nothing more stupid than a genius like me wasting his time with them."

Rumble stopped speaking and turned around, and tried to calm down. But before he could quell the huge wave of insanity and his cruel intentions and sayings, he heard the voice he admired most; Hector.

"Field General Rumble! I'm giving a widespread order for everyone from the PR to gather here in Oreburgh. Send Pokemon to every corner of our territory and get every member. We're launching our final assault. We're taking Sunnyshore."

Rumble turned around to face the Arcanine, his expression turning dead serious as he was seeing the incoming war.

"I see. But let's not rush it here, Arcturus. The human forces might have improved even more... Do we have time for our spies to infiltrate Sunnyshore? Also, when are we going to summon Groudon?"

A slighty smile was spread across Rumble's face, another real smile. He glanced at Lydia, remembering of something he saw in the same armory that now was the PR; some blueprints of a massive weapon. His amber eyes got dark, now they were perfectly visible as he had moved out of the sunlight.

As always, I'll be having an escape plan. I have a hunch the longlegs might be preparing a surprise in Sunnyshore. You never know, so try to keep in touch with me.

A Gallade stood there watching her with a calm look on his face. "I saw you get back and was curious as to why you didn't rest. You must be exhausted," the psychic-type continued.

Silence opened her mouth to protest but instead she found herself agreeing. "Yeah, I did a lot of running today," she said. "I don't think I'd be able to sleep now though."

"Why don't I help you with that?" the Gallade said as he walked towards her. Silence felt herself unable to move as he approached her. His eyes glowed and she felt herself growing drowsy. The last thing she saw before falling into the depths of slumber where his glowing eyes.

Fighting hordes of pokemon

"Team, We need to move forward!" Johnson yelled as they fired. "HOORAAH!" His team yelled as they began moving forward pushing off waves of enemies. I looked down at the dead Charizard and moved back to the Lieutenant's team. One of the soldiers tossed me my bag and my M1A1. I opened my bag to grab a grenade when I saw something shining on the inside. I grabbed the object, it was the J52-V20 Volt gun. I had completely forgotten about it, "mass destruction in a sweet slick package, hooraah" I said under my breath. I flipped the switch to turn the weapon on as it booted up. The rock hard glass tube in the center of the gun lit up with electricity. I aimed at a Squirtle and pulled the trigger. It started to scream as light bursted from its eyes and mouth. It grabbed it's ears to try to stop the ringing noise in its head when it's head blew to smithereens."Hell yeah!" I yelled. The other pokemon saw the squirtle's decapitated body and started to run backwards. I shot a group running back to to Sunnyshore and they all where shocked to death before they had a chance to clear the fire fight. I shocked multiple targets that were all killed instantly. I needed to reload, I dropped the empty mag and pulled another one out. inserted it, then flipped the switch again to restart the weapon. By the time I finished reloading the pokemon where either dead or escaped. A medic-copter showed up and helped me and the Lieutenant's team.

I had some wounds but the doctor said I would be ready to get back to battle in about two hours. The time slipped pass as the doctor started to patch me up. The only soldier that was completely wounded was Scott Baymen who was evac'ed to a hospital for help. About an hour later a Black-Hawk gave us a lift to Sunny-Shore. Lieutenant Johnson was briefing his team about what was going on. I decided to listen in since I was going to be there to. I was going to be in a Ravager, but what the hell. It's always great to know what your team will be doing. "Team, Were heading into hell on this mission, we need to conserve ammo in this. Snipers, don't take the shot unless you know you have it, we don't want to give away any positions. Any one on the ground needs to follow my orders. If your pinned down give us a shout, the HR leaves no man behind. Any questions?" His team didn't have any questions.

We arrived at sunny shore undetected. It wasn't war time yet so we made a camp just a distance in the woods. We were completely invisible. We had a SR-71 Black-Bird in the sky. Those things are so high there just about in space. It was giving us radar for the time being. Eventually, A chopper came by that dropped for soldiers and the Ravager that I would be Piloting. I grabbed my Suit and put it on just in case so I would need to be ready to jump in it if we got attacked. Now, It was wait time.

"I see. But let's not rush it here, Arcturus. The human forces might have improved even more... Do we have time for our spies to infiltrate Sunnyshore? Also, when are we going to summon Groudon?"

Hector responded right away, a sense of urgency in his voice.

"No, Rumble, this is the exact time when we should be rushing. If we send a few spies now...there should be time while everyone gathers. Once everyone has arrived in Oreburgh, we are going to move out, so we're going to have to give the spies some kind of signal to let them know to return. As for the Legendary Pokemon, that will be summoned, we'll do it once we begin moving. For now, everyone must come here to Oreburgh. Meet with me in an hour to discuss the battle plan. Bring any other people with you who know a thing or two about strategy, including Khufu."

Hector turned around and left, making his way across the Base. There, he noticed Flying Pokemon carrying messages leaving from Oreburgh, and flying to their other bases to gather everyone up. Finally, things were beginning to move again. But Hector had a bad feeling about attacking Sunnyshore. Even though he wouldn't back down now, he felt that this will be the last battle...one way or another.

Guns still pointed at his head.

(I'm taking matters into my own hands, I've had enough of him waiting around. :P )

Jun took at look at the men who were pointing guns at him. They seemed to be talking amonst themselves, including Jack Spark, the Commander. Jun had to get out of this now. He realized they weren't going to believe him, no matter what he did. He held his hands behind his back, and in a subtle motion, grabbed the smoke grenade that was hidden under his hood. He looked to the side. There was a thicket of trees to the east, only a few meters away. He decided to break for them.

In one quick motion, Jun threw the active smoke grenade on the ground, and made a break for it, yelling back at them.

"Sorry, Commander, but I've got a job to do! See you on the battlefield!" He said, running away. He realized they might have had motion or heat trackers, so the trees were a perfect cover for that. He lookedat his shoulder. He was shot, but the wound wasn't serious. He'd take care of it later. He went deaper into them, and then, disappeared.

Rumble couldn't resist a smile at Hector. He brought up to his mind his knowledge about psychology, laughing at the fact that the commander always disagreed with him. It did matter to Rumble's ego, but his other side just shrugged it off, simply stating that Hector actually misunderstood his thoughts about "not rushing".

The desperate need of control leads them to disagree with the stronger one.. Or maybe it's simply his personality. Either way it's annoying.

He shook his head slighty, losing his smile and nodded to the Arcanine before him. He got lost in his thoughts right away. Did he know anyone with knowledge on strategic battle plans?

Rumble glanced at Lydia. She'd be leaving soon - even though she had disappointed him, Rumble would let her go on that mission, with the escape plan always in mind.
The psychic Pokemon started moving out of the backalley.

"Let's see each other in the Commander's room?"

It wasn't clear to who he was talking to - Hector or Lydia. Still lost in his thoughts about psychology and strategy, he levitated slowly like a ghost in the streets, his destination was in the darkest corner of his mind. He entered the building and looked around, only to be saluted by some small Pokemon, but he couldn't notice them; just in that corner in the hall, was standing that Weavile he had seen in the holocaust.

"Heh. Who do we have here? Mrs. Weavile!" He yelled at her in his fake, happy voice but with no smile on. His expressions were serious as he recognized a true opponent in the Weavile, but he still got closer to her, just about 1 meter, heightening his levitation, keeping the Weavile under his shadow.

"Ruthless, vicious and pretty. Dangerous combination!" Rumble allowed himself a small smile as he saw her sarcastic reply incoming.

Logan turned right towards the highway that would lead him to Lake Valor. Logan knew that the Pokemon would eventually strike at Sunnyshore, and that Logan would have to fight them. Logan headed down the highway, observing the Natural surroundings, before they would be destroyed. The war annoyed Logan, as it stopped him from his profits in the Assassin business, which paid well. Logan had never owned a Pokemon, so the war seemed weird to him. But anyways, these days it seems that the army is Logan's client and the Pokemon are the target. Logan took the next exit marked: Sunnyshore City. Logan drove down the highway, taking a occasional glance at the Ocean, which was quite beautiful. Within time, Logan saw the buildings of Sunnyshore City, the last frontier for the human race.

Mandel
Oreburgh City
Streets
Mandel had felt an unnerving rage building up inside himsice Rumble had arrived and spoken to them. He had dragged Lydia off before he could respond, just as soon as Mandel had plucked up the courage to talk to her about the recent events. He cared so deeply for Lydia that he couldn't stand the all that had happened anymore.

"Grrrrr..." Mandel began to make a slight snarl and a dark wing blew. Leaves began to break off of Mandel and seperate into the wind which was slowly starting to spin around Mandel. The wind became faster and faster, spinning at an alarming pace, as Mandel began to deteriorate into it. It hurt, Mandel wasn't bothered. He was almost completely soaked up into the wind, when he sensed someone pushing there way through the maelstrom of dark leaves and placing there hand on his shoulder. Mandel began to calm down and the leaves began to rejoin and reform into Mandel.

Mandel turned to face the being who had placed their hand on his shoulder. It was another Leafeon a pure one. It began to speak in a voice very similar in tone and pitch to Mandels, only deeper.

"Oh my boy... what has happened to you." Mandel slumped and fell into the leafeons arms.

This was the Leafeon from the vision Celebi had shown him. This was his father.

"How did you... you weren't supposed to be able to..." Mandels father was at a loss for words.

"Mandel... Mandel look at me."

Mandel rose from his fathers arms and looked at him. The leaves had reformed Mandel, but the black wind was still surrounding them. Blocking off all vision in and out. His father spoke.

"Mandel, my name is Kaleb. I am your father."

Mandel was teary eyed.

"I know Dad, I know."

Kaleb smiled sympathetically at his son.

"Son I wish I could stay longer but my time runs short I must give you a message."

"Wait, what do you mean your time runs short?" Mandel said with a confused tone.

Kaleb began to talk in rushed speach.

"Your pendant mandel your pendant! Sigh... listen because I can only say this once. The day I disappeared from your Mother side was the day I died. You had been given to the human family a month before-hand and your mother and I were planning on moving back to her homeland of snowpoint city. However the day we were destined to set off I heard dreadful news. The first bad trainer had cropped up and he was using his Rhyperior to destroy my good friend Celebis shrine. I had to save the shrine but your mother, insisted she helped me... she could have perished in the insuing fight so I couldn't in my heart let her join me... so I did something I will never forgive myself for, I told her I didn't love her anymore. She was so upset she ran away and I went to fight the Rhyprior alone. I managed to defeat the Rhyperior and send the human packing, but I died in the process. In my dying moments I begged Celebi to find some way of telling my eife, your mother, I still loved her. She proposed I ask you to do it for me since she can't interact directly with non-grass type pokemon. I obviously had to wait for you to grow up and I instructed Celebi to tell you of your mothers location in snowpoint when you were old enough. I then asked Celebi to seal my remaining life force into a small crystal made from the leaf on my chest. The same crystal she gave you as a pendant. Ever since then I have been with you, waiting for you to find your mother. The pendant was sealed with an ammount of Celebis power, when the power was done sustaining me, it would go into you, granting you a small piece of a legends power as my final gift to you, this was all meant to transpire when you felt love for another pokemon. I assumed this pokemon would be your mother, but somehow someone has set it off early. I lent you my power and let you channel it into yourself through the amulet, and when you became tainted, so did I, which is why the amulet turned black, however I feel you don't need the amulet now. With your own strength and a small fragment of Celebis power... I think you'll do... just..... fine........"

Mandel thought of Lydia when Kaleb mentioned love. Just then Kaleb fell to the ground.

"Dad!" Mandel cried.

Kaleb smiled up at Mandel.

"My boy... I'm so proud of the strong pokemon you've come to be... t... tell your Mother that I... that I still...."

Mandel began to cry.

"I will Dad... I will *sob*"

Kaleb closed his eyes.

"Thats my boy... thats my strong, brave little boy... I... I'm sorry I wasn't able to see you grow up into the strong pokemon you are today."

Mandel held his father.

"Its not your fault Dad... It was never your fault. I forgive you."

Kaleb let out a sigh and closed his eyes, The maelstrom had drawn tighter on Mandel and Kaleb, spinning at a violent pace.

"Thank you my son... that means more to me than you will ever know..."

The Maelstrom began to calm and fade as wounds began to appear on Kalebs body. Wounds from the battle with Rhyperior all those years ago, temporarily removed with the power that now resided within Mandel.

Kalebs body suddenly fell limp in Mandels arms and Mandel began to panic.

"S...Someone! Anyone, Please someone has to help him!!!"

Jun's "lucky day"
Outside Hearthome

Jun had made one major mistake… he forgot the Ravager was between him and the forest. After turning his head back toward the forest all he could see was a metal leg driving itself into his chest. Knocking the breathe out of Jun and knocking him to the ground. “So that smoke did come from you,” said the external speaker on the Ravager as it stepped on Jun pushing his chest into the ground. If it pressed any harder it would crush his ribs.

One of the soldiers walked over next to Jun and said, “This must be your lucky day…” Then the soldier hopped on the Ravager while it stepped off of Jun’s chest. The second soldier said to Jun, “If you had been in Donegal we would have executed you on the spot… but good for you… you’re not and our ROEs do not allow us to give you justice. And we can’t stay here any longer so go and betray your kind… there is a special ring in **** for **** bags like you.”
The Ravager then walked off ignoring the HR leader. The Donegal Forces were being recalled completely.

Varik
Ruins of Pokemon Mansion
Route 212

Varik was moving south a “different” man. His voice was being changed by a small device hidden in his throat (which sucked to get in there), and much of his outward body appearance was different including his skin color which was a bit paler. All of this was thanks to Angel. Angel was actually a LOKI operative, a secret organization that answered only to the Archon, who was a master at this type of appearing and disappearing. Angel had trained Varik a little before coming here and had set him up with the equipment he needed to pull it off.

Why a LOKI member had joined the order was disturbing to Varik, but he accepted the help since he needed it. Since he couldn’t find Skyna anywhere here and the next best place to look was the Pokemon’s main city it seemed. He wasn’t going to just walk in there… he needed a plan, but he had nothing right now. He avoided Hearthome since there was a chance someone might ID him there. He moved onto 212 through the forest. He had to be careful to avoid the local pokemon, but he encountered none… the forest was so quiet and lifeless other than the trees. After several hours he came to a heavily damaged mansion. Pulling out his dart pistol he carefully went inside and started to check the place out. Thankfully there was no one there… no humans or pokemon. He did find some remains of humans and some pokemon. It looked like there had been a battle here, but that had been a while back.
Carefully choosing a spot in the mansion he sat against the wall to take a nap. He needed his energy for the tasks ahead, and he needed time to think. He had rashly executed his own death and now he had no idea what to do. First he had to find Skyna, and then he would focus on his main task. Everything he had seen up to this point reinforced the objectives in his mind. It was a long shot, but he had to try…

The Gardevoir stepped back from Mandel and watched the whole event unfold. She was confused by what was happening, but when everything finished happening. She heard Mandel scream out for help she stepped up and tried to heal Kaleb… but there was nothing there to heal. The vision began to fade away as she healed the ground instead of the Pokemon. “Mandel… there is nothing to heal… It’s a vision… or a bodiless soul,” she said as she continued to try to heal Kaleb. She knew it was useless, but perhaps it would help Mandel if she at least tried.

Mandel watched as the Gardevoirs attempts at healing his father simply passed through him. There was nothing to be done... his father had died a long time ago. Mandel watched as his fathers very being began to fade. Suddenly from the bottom up his fathers body began to turn into vibrant green leaves which flew up into the air.

He realised that his Father had never actually been here, that it had just been his fathers spirit saying its last goodbye. Mandel began to cry again. It wasn't fair, why did he have to die just when he met him. Why was it that he didn't get to be loved or cared about by anyone for more than five seconds! Everything he ever loved had somehow been taken away from him. His original family, Lydia, his father. What on Earth was it? Why did Arceus above consider him unworthy of something as basic as love? Mandel felt the leves on his body glow a pure black which enveloped his body. Leaving nothing but a shadow with glowing orange eyes. Is this what is meant for him? To be a creature of Darkness and fight in the name of a cause he was beginning to wonder was right. He turned his head to see Lydia standing in an alleyway a small bit away. The shadows fled back into Mandels body and left him as he was, she still gave him a small shred of hope. Mandel didn't know what to believe anymore. Other than her he had nothing to hold onto, nothing to live for. No, that wasn't true. He had a mother, he had never met her, but he had a Mother and he had something to tell her, he had to tell her that his Dad never stopped loving them. He stood up. He turned and looked to the North, thats where his Mother was. Mandel had to get there. He turned to the Gardevoir.

"Thank you for trying to help me. I understand what my father was trying to tell me now." He looked down at his pendant it was now a pure crystaline clear, not a speck of dark or color, just purity.

Mandel began to walk North, but started thinking. He thought of everyone he had met. Lydia, Abe, Khufu and Hector, all of them were his friends, could he really just leave? The answer was obvious. Mandel stopped walkingand looked up at his fathers leaves blowing in the wind.

"I'm sorry Dad... but theres other things I need to attend to before I find Mom..." Mandel smiled and shut his eyes.

"But I promise I will find her." Mandel began to walk back into Oreburgh he walked past the spot where his father was lost and straight towards the alley where Lydia was.

"Lydia, I have to talk to you." He said, a sad smile on his face.

"NO you can't! If I cared about everyone in here we'd all be dead meats!" the Reuniclus shot out, his face closing into hers with both of their glowing eyes countering each other. Rumble’s voice was pure madness, his frustration clear and frightening. The small pokemon inside her mane tucked more into her fur in reaction to his booming voice. Lydia allowed her friend to turn away, but both of their frowns were large. Nothing could persuade her to change her mind, as Rumble was probably the same. "I feel vengeful for the humans, but that makes me waste my time with stupid city invasions just to feel the risk and the touch of adrenaline. Nothing more stupid than a genius like me wasting his time with them”. The Zorua kept quiet, trying to release her ever growing tension. Her ruby eyes immediately stopped glowing at the voice of Hector, who quickly went to face her friend. She kept her ears up.

"Field General Rumble! I'm giving a widespread order for everyone from the PR to gather here in Oreburgh. Send Pokemon to every corner of our territory and get every member. We're launching our final assault. We're taking Sunyshore”. Lydia smiled, overly happy to know their nonstop fighting would soon be over, as would the war. She looked upward to Rumble, who’s expressions were serious in eye-contact to the Arcanine. "I see. But let's not rush it here, Arcturus. The human forces might have improved even more... Do we have time for our spies to infiltrate Sunyshore? Also, when are we going to summon Groudon?".
"No, Rumble, this is the exact time when we should be rushing. If we send a few spies now...there should be time while everyone gathers. Once everyone has arrived in Oreburgh, we are going to move out, so we're going to have to give the spies some kind of signal to let them know to return. Bring any other people with you who know a thing or two about strategy, including Khufu”.
Groudon? The continental pokemon? Lydia had no idea how they were to summon such a large pokemon to war, but if they did, there would be nothing to hold the PR back. As for Sunyshore, she was a spy, but now also a mother. The Zorua would have to have someone watch her egg and baby if she was ever going to gather information again. Looking upward, the Reuniclus was glancing at her with a small smile. “As always, I'll be having an escape plan. I have a hunch the longlegs might be preparing a surprise in Sunnyshore. You never know, so try to keep in touch with me,” he advised, Lydia nodding obediently.

"Let's see each other in the Commander's room?" Rumble said aloud, neither looking at Lydia nor Hector. She nodded once more before letting the two leave, her friend levitation in resemblance to a ghost. Lydia shrugged to herself, not sure what to do. Peering inside her bag, she moved aside the large egg to grab some snacks with her tiny paw, handing them to the little pokemon she had on her back. It eagerly accepted them before shoving all of them into its mouth.

"Lydia, I have to talk to you,” a voice said, the Zorua turning to see Mandel again. He had a depressing smile on which only made her feel worse. She let out a sigh, “I’m listening…”

"Everything thats happened between us and everything that the war has done to us shouldn't matter. Your one of the only things that kept me going up to this point and I don't want to leave with this barrier between us."

Mandel smiled.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is..."

There was a gunsmith somewhere in the city, he just didn't remember where. Mark had been meaning to get a new gun for some time now, and now that he had handed off his MP-7, he could pick up an assault rifle. He asked around and was directed to a brick building. The group of soldiers and I were called into sunny shore to set up a better base camp. I looked at the Ravager, It couldn't just sit out here. I walked over to it and opened the hatch. I connected the wire to connect my brain to the machine and pressed the button. I got shocked and saw an image. It looked like a person... they looked very sick. Not like fever sick like dying sick. There was a redish haze around the person. I then noticed a pokemon in the background, it looked sick to. I tried to make out who the person was. It looked... like... me? I lost the image in my head and was awakened by the Ravager HUD. I caught my breath and began moving the Ravager into SunnyShore. I was getting better at maneuvering it. I took it to the back part of the city and lowered it down. I pressed the button again so I was released. I unplugged the wire and stepped out of the Ravager. A few choppers showed up and dropped off some HR, weapons, and ammunition. One soldier jumped off and approached me. "Are you the new Ravager Pilot?" The soldier asked "Yes thats me at your service." I responded with a salute. He saluted back and said "Tune your radio to channel 752 so you can communicate with other Ravager Pilots and other vehicles. Hope you know how to drive that monster."
"Yes sir" I responded. I walked over to the Ravager and put on my helmet.

I opened the hatch and got into the Ravager. I wired up the wires again as I can't tune my radio for the Ravager without it being on. I then pressed the button and got shocked out cold again. All I could see was gun fire, and hyper beams. I then was able to see some sort of orb or circle dropping from the sky. It hit the ground and a Large explosion went off. The sonic boom of the explosion came in fast. I saw the Ravager HUD as it hit me. Then I was awakened. I tuned my helmet to channel 752 and could hear other Ravager Pilots talking. I just ignored it for now and turned off the Ravager. Almost got out without pushing the button but I caught my self. I pressed the button and got out of the Ravager.

Jun got up and ran away. He picked up a smoke grenade, and chucked it at the ground. Jack managed to run away just in time, and the grenade blasted behind him. The smoke entered Jack's lungs, and he collapsed onto the ground, choking, coughing, and gasping for breath.

He saw Jun run into a Ravager, and the Ravager pinned him to the ground. Jun was almost crushed under the huge machine, but the soldiers simply walked away, ignoring Jack. Jack walked up to Jun on the ground, and said, "Sorry Jun, but you don't have a clean record. You have been accused of betrayal twice before. And that escape does NOT help your case." Jack took his claws out, and stabbed Jun in the chest, puncturing his lungs. He wasn't sure whether Jun could survive this, but he didn't care. He couldn't trust him.

Jack walked back towards Hearthome City, tired by everything that had happened over the last few days. He ad mostly been unable to get even a wink of sleep, and he was seriously deprived of sleep.

When he reached Hearthome, he ordered a helicopter due for Sunyshore. Soon, the arrangements were made, and in 10 minutes Jack was in the air.

Jack looked out of the window, at the beautiful landscape of Sinnoh. It was one of the most beautiful things he had ever seen. The peaceful and calm landscape of Sinnoh, with Mt. Coronet in the distance....all ravaged and torn by war.

"If I'm forced to drop that nuke...I may be the only person to have seen this view. Alive, that is." Jack thought. Dropping the nuke was the last resort. He didn't want to to do this. Not at all.

Soon, Jack landed in Sunyshore. The trip had only taken 20 minutes. He walked out, and inquired about the location of Mark. He was in his condo, and Jack headed over there.

He opened the door of Mark's condo with a loud slam. He walked in, and searched the rooms. He saw Mark sleeping in one of the rooms, and shook him awake, saying, "Wake up Mark. Get ready for a meeting."

He searched the other rooms, and saw a girl sleeping in one. It was the girl from Hearthome, Silence's trainer, Lilac. He woke her up too, and said, "Wake up, I need you to wake up. I need to know your current status in the HR, and want to discuss a few things. Also, uh....I don't know how to say this, but sorry bout Hearthome. I hope Wade didn't hurt you much..." Jack headed out of the room, waiting for the two people to meet him.

Ace had been doing his own errands since he had come back. He had changed a lot since he had visited Mt. Coronet. His parents last wish had been to change Ace into a better Pokemon. He had grown compassionate towards other Pokemon, helping them while the Commander was busy discussing the next plan.

He had visited the Pokemon Center, and had healed himself up. He got weapons, fetched items, and had generally helped people heal themselves up. When he was done, he had walked out into the streets, roaming around the city.

He walked outside the armory, and saw a Weavile and a familiar Reuniclus. He walked over to the duo, who were busy in a conversation, and he recognized the Weavile as Silence, an old member of the PR. The other Reuniclus was obviously, Rumble.

Ace spoke up, "Hello Rumble, nice to see you again."

(OOC: rusty you cheaky lil fella you were waiting for me to get inside the base so I couldn't attack you! pff)

Rumble opened the recorder of the supercomputer in his right arm as he awaited Silence's response. But before she could say a thing, he heard a voice he hated more than the humans; Ace. He turned around abruptly, losing his smile. His eyes reflected insanity and anger was written all over his face.
The Trick Room he used stole all the agility from the Weavile and the Pidgeot, letting Rumble charge forward and grab the bird Pokemon from around his neck, with both of his hands.
It did seem like an attack, but all the Pokemon around were staring. Rumble's intentions changed in an instant, as he whispered in a metallic voice piercing his opponents mind.

"You.. dare coming here? Nobody messes with me! Get it? NOBODY!"

He yelled the last word from behind his teeth and then grinded them in anger. A metallic sound was heard from his right hand's glove as he shook the Pokemon who made fun of him. He let go of him and backed off. His expressions hadn't changed one bit and he meant every one of his words.

"You think your trick was funny? HUH? Wanna see a trick? HOW ABOUT I MAKE YOUR FACE DISAPPEAR?"

Rumble whispered again, yelling the last words, not caring if the other Pokemon heard him. He stood still with half closed eyes from anger and his efforts to control it. Killing that Pidgeot now was pointless and things would get messy, Rumble tried to convince himself listening to his response would be the best for the insane momentum.

He walked out into the living room and checked the time, 6:00 PM. Mark picked up the radio off the coffee table and switched it to the frequency his pilot used. "Change of plans, Pick me up at 10:00 PM tonight." The pilot responded "Roger." Mark sat on the couch and waited for Jack.

There wasn't much to do here, I didn't have any friends in years. After the pokemon attacked I never heard from them. i looked at my M1A1, it was starting to get beat up. I pulled out my wallet and looked at how much money I had, I had about $1000. I asked around if any one new any gun shops. I was directed to a brick building. I walked in and looked around. Before I bought any thing I had to remember I was a Ravager Pilot so I can't carry anything big. I looked towards the SMGs and I found a UMP-45. I shelled out the money and bought it. I took my new gun back to the Ravager and put it in my back pack. I took my M1A1 and set it down on a table. I loaded a few Magazines for my UMP-45 and put them into my back pack.

I began thinking about those visions I had. How would I get sick, Im completely fine now. Hit with poison sting? No it can't be, there was a pokemon that was sick in the background. I couldn't think of what this could possibly be.

Angel looked back at the island as the formation climbed over the ocean on the way back to Donegal. She frowned while whispering to herself, “Good luck Varik… I hope you find what you’re looking for.” Behind the formation of 11 fighters flew several transports. The Donegal forces had completely withdraw only leaving a few pieces of hardware behind including the two Ravagers back in Sinnoh.

---

Varik woke up and stood up then something sent a chill down his spine. He looked around and remembered where he was at. Scretching he regretted sleeping on the floor, since now he had a small kink in his neck. He started to explore the house. He walked down the hall and entered one of the rooms. It was a bedroom, and it lacked the stench of death the other rooms had. Lying down on the bed Varik picked up a picture that lay on the bed stand. Varik looked at the image of a young woman smiling with her favorite pokemon in a loving embrace in her hands. Looking closely into the eyes of the Pokemon, Varik frowned. He tossed the picture on the ground and it slide over to the open door.

“Evil prevails when good men do nothing,” muttered Varik to himself. He then stood up and walked out of the room. Walking downstairs he left the mansion and headed toward Hearthome. He needed to get to Sunyshore.

Varik acquired a truck from an elderly old man who was more than willing to sell it. Varik also bought some civilian clothes including a black bucket hat. He then drove to Sunyshore. He entered the town of foot hours later despite his lead foot. He had run out of gas a mile back, but he was close enough he didn’t care. Looking around the town Varik needed to see if there was some sort of radio or broadcasting station… “Where could one be?” muttered Varik to himself as he walked around the town in his disguise as a local citizen.

The blackhawk landed outside of the town, which seemed almost empty of life. There were a few scattered pokemon, but not enough that would pose any trouble. Althalos got out and asked the pilot for his side arm, a Colt M1-911. "How many bullets are in it?" Althalos asked and aimed the gun at a tree. "Nine bullets. It's a custom magazine. You never know when you might need that last bullet," the pilot replied.
"I'll do my best to bring it back, come back to this spot in two days, wait in Hearthome that way you can be on call if I need you for a quick evac." With that, Althalos started north through the forest. There were more wild pokemon in the area now that the PR controlled Jubilife. For the most part, they ignored him. A few just stared at him, but nothing more. Eventually, after a few hours of searching, Althalos came to a clearing, the first he had seen in a while, and in the middle, picking at a berry bush, was a blue eyed Typhlosion. Althalos was filled with rage when he saw the pokemon. He contained it just enough that he didn't go charging out, but just barely. He took shaky aim at the leg of his friend, and pulled the trigger, blowing a hole in his foot, the pokemon yelped and then collapsed. Now, Althalos came out of the trees, "Remember me, Blitz? Do you remember what you did to me?" Althalos pointed the gun at Blitz's head. "Give me one good reason not to blow your head off, one good reason," if there could actually be fire in someone's eyes, Althalos' were wooden sky scrapers that just had a firework set off in them. Blitz gulped and scooted back a little bit before answering. "I-I have a family to take care of," Blitz answered, his voice shaking. Althalos just glared at him.
"What about my family, hmm? They trusted you to take care of them too, but you killed them. I made a promise to someone, that once I killed you, that I would never kill again. It looks like you get to keep your life a little while longer," with that, Althalos shot Blitz once more in the leg, so that he couldn't follow and stormed of in search of a place a Typhlosion might live. He soon found a cave with a light coming from inside. He stomped towards it and a female voice called out, "Blitz is that you? I heard a gunshot and I thought-" Althalos saw a female Typhlosion walk out of the cave. She quickly turned and ran back in. Althalos fired a shot, hitting her in the shoulder. She kept going though. When Althalos approached the mouth of the cave, he was attacked from the side by a quilava. The little pokemon jumped on him and Althalos hit his head with the pistol, knocking him out and throwing him across the cave. He then turned his attention tot he Typhlosion, who was still getting her bearings. He fired another three shots at her, pushing her against the cave wall; the third bullet hitting her between the eyes, she slumped down and didn't move. Althalos then moved on to the knocked out quilava. He Pointed the gun at the little pokemon, but couldn't pull the trigger. He collapsed to his knees and started crying. He picked up the little pokemon and held it tightly against his chest. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," was all he could mutter through his tears.

Hector was approached by Silence, the Pokemon he had met all the way back at Jubilife. She asked him a question.

"Rumble said that he was now general. Did something happen to Khufu while I was gone?" She asked.

Hector eyed her suspiciously, then shrugged.

"Rumble is a spirited character. While I did promote him to Field General, the second-in-command position still rests with General Khufu." For a moment, Hector wondered where Khufu went. "If you'll excuse me, Silence, I need to find Rumble."

After all the necessaries, it looked like it was time. From every corner of the PR-controlled land came Pokemon ready to serve, and if need be, ready to die. Hector hoped it wouldn't come to that. He had now on him his ceremonial helmet, and armored shoulder pads as we walked among troops scrambling through the armory, getting ready. As he passed them, many nodded or saluted, showing the admiration and respect he has gained from his short service as the Commander of the PokeRebels. At this moment, Hector felt immensely proud of the position he was placed in. He had risen from near doom when he was a captured Pokemon under Team Rocket, and had risen above the ashes of disgrace and death to the very top, the leader of the revolt, the voice of the Pokemon, if you're feeling dramatic. At least at this moment, Hector felt so.

Hector found Rumble amongst other Pokemon. They were conversing, but Hector needed him now. He walked up to him.

"Walk with me, Rumble." Hector commanded, as he proceeded back the direction he came. He assumed Rumble was right behind him as proceeded. Hector began speaking about the plan as he walked with him through the armory.

"I've checked the layout and have determined that our best chance to get to Sunnyshore is south, through Hearthome, and then Pastoria. It would be easier, and more direct. Now, I assume that we won't find that much resistance in Pastoria, and probably even less in Hearthome. The humans are smart, and I assume that they probably abandoned the cities. If they divided their forces and tried to defend all three cities, they would probably lose, and they know it. It should be a relatively smooth road there. Assuming the spies are alive and fine, we will regroup with them in Pastoria, right before the attack. There, they will give us the information we need. As for the legendary Pokemon...I say awaken him now, right before we begin marching, or right before we enter Hearthome city on the way to Sunnyshore. It would definitely scare off many humans, making our road much more easier."

Hector paused as he let Rumble absorb all of this. He turned back towards him, and spoke.

"Well? Thoughts? Anything to add?" He asked. He wanted to confirm with him the final plan. The march was going to begin soon.

I was hungry after all this time so I went to a near by diner and got some food to go. I sat and ate a near by table next to the Ravager. I saw a group of soldiers walking to my position. The one in the front looked like a General, he was holding a clip board and was looking through papers. He walked up to the Ravager and started to look around it. I was in the middle of chewing a sub I got when I completely stop chewing and swallowed. I got up and walked to te group of people next to the Ravager. "Is every thing ok sir?" I asked the General. "Where checking all our gear to make sure everything is in tip top shape. Is there any problems with this Ravager?" He replied back with a question. "Not that I know of. It seems everything should be alright." I replied back. "Ok, good. If there isn't anything else we will be on our way." He said back to me. "Nope, everything is good to go" I said back. The general then walked away and started looking at some other Ravager.
I walked back to the table I was at and started to eat again.

I threw away my trash from the sandwich I ate and walked back to the Ravager. I grabbed a rag from my back pack and started to wipe some finger prints off of my helmet. I cleaned it off so next time I used it It would be easier to see. I thought about all the times of my life during this war, I really wanted it to end. I liked how things used to be, not some F****** bombs going off at every D*** corner of the globe. Im just glad there hasn't been any thing to crazy. I wouldn't want something like a bomb of all bombs going off destroying everything. I don't even think those are a reality though. Maybe somewhere in the distant future.

One thing I thought of that I really struggle with is why in the hell the PR haven't called in any legendary pokemon. They should be able to contact them right? Im sure we would be screwed if they did. They would have been able to end this war long time ago. I guess they just haven't thought about it.
If they haven't realized that, they must be real studied. We'll just have to see some time in the future...

Althalos walked back towards the clearing where he left Blitz, the unconscious quilava in his arms. The blue eyed Typhlosion was still there, slumped against the bush and breathing heavily. He was sitting an a large puddle of his own blood and a few other forest pokemon were around him, trying to see if they could help. Althalos fired one shot into the sky and all the pokemon ran away. Blitz looked at him, and gave a quick sigh, knowing that his son wasn't dead. Althalos gave his former friend a sad look, and his face was still red, more from crying than actual anger. He pointed the Typhlosion, "Just one last thing before I kill you, why? Why did you kill them? All my family ever did was care about you, and you killed them all," Blitz was silent. "Answer me, goddamnit!!" Althalos yelled, tears starting to run down his face again.
"I don't know... I just... I don't know why. All the rumors-" Althalos cut him off, "The rumors? The rumors!?" he cried, "You KNOW that they would have never done anything to harm you! You know it!" Blitz just shook his head sadly, "I know that now. The rumors got to my head, and I just..." he grabbed his head in frustration. Althalos just stared at him, tears still running down his face. "I'll take care of your son," Blitz shut his eyes tight and Althalos fired the last of the bullets into his head. He shoved the pistol into his pocket and started towards Jubilife.

Rumble didn't want to be pushed around like that, but he swallowed the bitter response that was about to come out. Watch it pal..

"Well? Thoughts? Anything to add?"

Hector looked at Rumble who was lost in his thoughts. They were going to kill, pillage and destroy. Just about my thing...
His eyes glowed for a brief moment and a small smile was formed in his face. It disappeared once he realised he should share his thoughts. The gears of his big brain were working quickly, like when he needed to find a solution to his problems.

"... Going through Hearthome and Pastoria will be easy, even without the legendary. I propose we keep our little friend a surprise till we reach Sunnyshore. Who knows what the humans are upto?"

I do, his thoughts running back into the improved human bombing technology, the blueprints that were in this very building, the same blueprints he was copying to create his own weapons.
But, for some reason he had doubts, a feeling he never liked and always wanted to correct.

"We will divide our forces into two when we reach Pastoria then? That way we will maximize the power of each type"

Rumble did not have anything to say beyond that. He just wanted all this to start.

Silence went back to the first floor of the base to see Hector already walking off with Rumble and the Pidgeot following behind. 'One... two...' Rumble's voice came booming down the corridor, obviously whatever he was saying had something to do with the Pidgeot. Silence gave off a small smirk and went outside. She stopped a Clefairy on its way in. "Hey, do you know where we're attacking next?" she asked it.

"Sunnyshore I believe," the Clefairy replied. Silence frowned and let the small pokemon go by.

'Sunnyshore... That's where Lilac is,' she thought. She strolled down the streets of Oreburgh as she thought about her newest dilemma: How to get Lilac out of Sunnyshore alive. 'I'm really starting to make it a habit of saving her life,' she thought with a small chuckle.

Jack grabbed Lilac's knife and tossed it through the window, smashing the glass in the process. "Whatever your status is....," he said, "I wouldn't want it to be deceased. Better be careful and swift, and you can replace that knife later. And instead of pointing it at humans, why not point it at a few Pokemon?"

'Pokemon... what did they ever do to me? Heck, why am I even here?' Lilac wondered to herself.

"I warned you Jack," Mark said.

"Huh, I don't think I need one," Jack spoke. He walked out. "Alright Mark, I want to know, where are Ali and Althalos? Once I know that we can proceed."

"Althalos left by chopper to... I don't know, he said to tell you it's personal business. Ali, well, no one has heard from him for days now. I will also be leaving at 10 tonight, even if the 'meeting' isn't over." Mark said. He walked out of his home. "Did you really have to throw her knife threw the window, do you always walk into other peoples homes and break there windows." Mark yelled back into the house. He came back in with Lilac's knife which he handed back to her with an approving look. "Just ignore him, I don't need you two in a fight," he said before going back out of the room.

Lilac put the knife back in its place in her belt than followed Mark out of the room. He was sitting on the couch and Jack was talking to him. Lilac sat down and stared up at the ceiling, not really paying attention to what the two were saying.

Rumble used a Trick Room, and grabbed Ace's neck. He smashed him against a wall, and pointed his sword at his neck.

"You're gonna pay for that.. Didn't you get a load of what I said before?" Rumble's psychic voice spoke.

"No, I didn't, you fake Pokemon." Ace spat on Rumble's face. He saw Rumble's wounds open up, splattering blood.

You're begging for another beatdown, pal..

"Me? Or you?" Ace said.

Ace secretly charged up a Hyperbeam, and then fired it at Rumble's face. It was too close to avoid, and there was no way the Trick Room could slow it down.

(OOC: C'mon, let him get beaten this time! He needs to know he has met his match xD)

The Hyperbeam crashed into the wall across from the flying Pokemon. Skyna had grabbed Rumble with a powerful Psychic and pulled him away in time. She then took her other hand and focused on Ace using her Psychic abilities to hold in against the way. Despite Rumble being a Psychic pokemon his abilities were too weak to counter Skyna’s Psychic for the time being. She then spoke to both of then through her Psychic ability, “STOP! We are supposed to be on the same side.”

Skyna was straining to keep the two apart and she hoped helped arrived before she lost control and they tore each other apart. ‘Where is Hector?’ thought Skyna as she focused more energy keeping Rumble from trying to lift an arm at Ace.

Whatever happened next, Rumble didn't catch. He found himself floating in midair, without even using his levitation skills.
He thought he saw something shot from the Pidgeot's mouth, directed right in his face.

He discovered he was unable to move or act. Regaining his senses, he realised a Gardevoir was holding him in midair with a telekinetic force way stronger than what he was using. The same Gardevoir he saw in Hector's office, the medic who healed him.
His facial expression was turned into a scary and bloody smirk as the hot blood dripped from his gel and fell on the floor. The Gardevoir said something but he was so mad he wouldn't listen to anyone.

"Let go of me NOW! I'll kill him with my own hands! I SAID LET GO OF ME!"

He used his own powers to try to knock the Gardevoir down. When he failed, he calmed down a bit and regained normal levitation altitude, keeping the lethal smirk on his face.

Althalos Fizen
Jubilife City
wandering

Althalos finally found Jubilife. The forest was really confusing and it was easier to get in than out. There was very little life in the city, only a few pokemon that you might usually find in a city back in the "good ol' days." Althalos went to the TV station roof using the stairs since the power in the city was out. He went behind the AC generator and found that his stuff was still there, a little burnt an trampled, but in usable condition. He grabbed the sleeping bag and set the quilava inside of it. His hoodie was still there too. It still was covered in his blood and there were a few holes in it, but that could all be taken care of. He put the hoodie on and sat near the edge. He could see the plane wreck from where he was. That would probably be a better place to go. He partially folded the sleeping bag and picked it up with the Quilava still inside. As he went down the stairs he heard a small cry from inside the sleeping bag. The little fire type was curled up in a ball, now more asleep than knocked out. He ran the rest of the way to the plane wreck building and climbed into what was left of the cockpit. The glass was shattered and there was blood on the ground, not to mention it was listing a good 60 degrees to the left, but it was going to be Althalos' home for the next few days. He thought about putting the quilava down again, but the little pokemon combined with the sleeping bag were very warm. Althalos sat down in the chair and soon fell asleep.
- - - - - - - - - - - -
When Althalos woke up, he heard quiet crying. He looked down at the quilava in his arms. He looked up at Althalos and slid deeper into the sleeping bag."How old are you?" he asked the quilava. "That depends, but why should I tell you?" he was still crying.
"Because there is something that you need to understand, and I can't tell you if you won't understand." Althalos told him calmly. The quilava just looked scared.
"Less than a year by human standards, but 15 by mine."
"Then you need to understand, that I am very sorry for what I did, and I know that what I did can never be forgiven, but it was necessary." Althalos was going to say more, but the quilava cut him off.
"My dad told me that he ad done a very terrible thing to a human that had only ever taken care of him, that's you, isn't it?" The quilava came out from the sleeping bag a little. Althalos just looked down. "He told me that he knew you would come for him, that you would kill him eventually, I thought it was just a story, but it's you. He also said that he was the one you were coming for, that you wouldn't hurt me or mom. I-Is she okay?"
"If your mom was still here, do you think I would have taken you? What's your name?" Althalos asked, but the quilava just crouched back into the sleeping bag.
"N-Nick..." he started crying again.
"Nick, I made a promise to a friend of mine, that after I avenged my family, I would never kill again. I'm keeping that promise. I'm not going to hurt you, or anybody else ever again."

"With your hands?! You couldn't kill a squirrel without your hands, you fake POKEMON!" Ace yelled. He squirmed, trying to get rid of the grip. He had gone mad with rage, like Rumble.

"Hell, I don't know what kids like you are doing in this war, but if you try anything funny I'll squish you flat without hesitation"

Rumble levitated over the Gardevoir and let the medic heal him without a word, he only had that maniacal glow in his eyes.

Rumble floated over to Skyna. She knew what he wanted her to do, but she wanted to make sure they didn’t tear into each other again. So once Rumble was next to her she reached out and touched him on the shoulder and enclosed them in psychic energy. A split second later they disappeared as Skyna teleported Rumble away. They reappeared inside the nearby hospital and then Skyna reached out and started focusing healing energy into Rumble’s wounds. Skyna had a look in her eyes similar to what a mother would have after stopping her kids from fighting over some trivial matter. She had no idea why the two had gotten into a fight since she had just showed up in time to stop them from killing each other, but to her it didn’t matter they were on the same side and shouldn’t be killing each other.

It was apparent now that a Pidgeot, the one from before, was following them. Although Hector appreciated his help, he knew this wasn't the place for him. Rumble wasn't always the best to get along with, but Hector didn't want his men fighting. He thought about stepping in a breaking it up, but decided to let them blow off their steam. If they wanted anything out in the open, he'd rather they unleash it then keep it bottled up.

He was relieved when a Gardevoir interrupted the fight and stopped them from fighting. He took this moment to approach both of them now. They looked calm enough. Rumble was back now from the hospital.

"...Did you get it all out of your system? Hmm? Because Pokemon attacking Pokemon isn't something I want to see. You both need to stop your carelessness. Don't you understand? There's something more at stake here than personal glory, or trying to prove yourself, or any other bullsh*t like that. Now come on. We've got a war to win."

As he said this, he turned to leave. A Golem came up to him.

"Commander, all troops have arrived, and we're ready to leave."

Hector nodded at him, and turned to the other two.

"When you two are done healing your wounds, gather you necessaries and join the rest. We're leaving. To Sunnyshore."

Stingray August 21st, 2011 12:15 PM

After healing Rumble Skyna found the Pidgeot and healed his wounds. The real battle hadn’t even started and she was already tending to wounded Pokemon. After healing them Skyna went to the small room in the hospital she used for herself and grabbed her pack. Inside were a few potions, bandages, and other medical supplies she could use when she was unable to use her healing abilities. Ironic that the pokemon were using human made supplies to help win the battle. She then pulled off the bracelet that Varik had given her years ago said in a sad tone to herself while looking at it, “Varik why did you never come back for me like you promised? I guess you really didn’t care for me. Perhaps the others are right… humans don’t care about us at all.” She then threw the bracelet on her tiny desk and walked out of the room. She had always believed Varik would come back to her before the end, but he hadn’t and now the final battle was about to start, a battle she didn’t thing she was going to survive.

An hour later the Pokemon had vacated their city and now their large force was moving toward Sunyshore. Pehaps after this battle, if Skyna survived, she would be finally able to live in peace. She reached over to her wrist to touch the bracelet but it wasn’t there as she thought about what she might do if she survived. A feeling of sorrow washed over her as when she remembered why she left the bracelet behind. Why had her only friend betrayed her? Then the thought hit her and she froze in place. Maybe he was dead… perhaps he never came back because he had been killed. Skyna then looked back toward Oreburgh with a look of regret on her face. She now wanted to go back for the bracelet but it was too late. He then started walking again with a sad look on her face as she thought over all the different reasons Varik would not have kept his promise to her. None of them were pleasant to think about. The thought that he was looking for her, but could not find her didn’t cross her mind as she walked toward Sunyshore.

The meeting was over at 9:30 PM, he had 30 minutes to get himself for the upcoming battle. Walking around the night time city was like before the war, people still everywhere doing there things, good or bad. It reminded him of when he was younger and began to wander around sinnoh by himself.

It was a rainy day in...

He shook the memory out of his head, now wasn't the time. Mark had arrived at the brick building. Walking in, the gunsmith was finishing up his ACR. Mark walked over to the 'wall-o-Attach' and grabbed a Lam and a eotech 512 sight and, of course, a silencer, then brought them over to the smith. Before he left he bought some C4 and multiple detonators that were each on there own channel. When he payed for everything he left the store and walked to the store where his armor was. When he got there, the store was still open. Inside the woman was sitting at the front counter. "I said tomorrow." the worker said, annoyed. "I Need it within 20 minutes for a military operation." Mark said back in a lot more calm tone. 20 minutes late, the repair woman came out with a fixed dragon skin vest. It now had a patch on it, A black flag with a red anarchy in the middle, It wasn't what he wanted but it was too late. "You wouldn't happen to sell combat helmets, would you?" Mark asked. The woman nodded and tossed him a helmet, then waved him out of the store. Mark ran to the air field and to the helipad right as his osprey landed. He hopped in then walked to the pilot. "Soo... Where you want to go to so bad." He asked "Back to Hearthome." Mark replied. The heli dusted off around 10:10 PM and headed for Hearthome.

20 minutes later he arrived, the city had been evacuated, and the soldiers sent to sunyshore. Mark hopped out of the back and the V-22 left the city, he was now alone, but was still going to make Rumbles day a living hell. He walked along the road that the PR would march across soon and found the perfect spot along it. 'Time to work' He thought and went off placing the C4 it specific places in the road. He placed some in strategic places in two buildings at both ends of his kill zone which were both triggered by the same detonator. With all the C4 placed he found a nice little window in one of the buildings that wouldn't be destroyed. Mark broke the window and swept away the glass, then climbed up and sat on it with his legs dangling outside and detonator for the buildings in his hand. He put the armor vest over his street clothing, which made him impossible to see from the ground. He sat there thinking about the meeting while he waited for the army to march through with his rifle leaning on the window pane.

Jack took out his cell phone. He dialed a number, and started speaking.

"Hey, is the bomb ready?......It is? Perfect." Jack hung up, and said, "If all else fails, they don't. GI JOE! (sorry lol, couldn't help myself xD) we will have our secret weapon." He said to the people.

"Well, I don't think we have anything else to say." Jack continued. "Except, Mark, you should probably attack Pastoria on helicopters. Makes it easier."

Jack ended the meeting, and ran out of the office. He walked all the way to the scientists floor, and walked into their office.

"You got my sword ready?" Jack said to a nearby scientist.

"Yes, just go into that room." He said.

One hour later, Jack walked out of the room, and pressed a button on his BioArm. A glistening sword appeared out of his BioArm. Jack touched the sword, and ran his finger along the edge. "Nice." He said.

He went up to his home, at the top of his base. "I haven't visited my home since like....forever. He thought. He walked in, and picked up some papers, and some extra weapons. he looked out his window, one last time, looking at the beautiful city of Sunyshore.

Rumble was outside the armory, away from all the marching Pokemon. He was done calling Morgana from his supercomputer, telling her to come all the way to Pastoria.
He opened and closed the fingers of his right hand. The feelings of before, had been totally extinguised. The friendship for Lydia, the irritation about Hector, the anger for Ace had all been gone. In their place, there was left nothing but a blanc space, ready to give its place to fury.
Ace walked up to him, he didn't even notice him as he was turning off the supercomputer.

"Hey, sorry bout the outburst, but I could fly you to Sunyshore, if you want."

Rumble faced him and turned around. His expression, stone as hard, didn't show any kinds of regret for nearly choking the Pidgeot. He simply turned around, ignoring Ace and headed to the armies of the Pokemon.

His metallic voice, psychically enhanced, boomed into the whole area, making the Pokemon closer to him cover their ears. The simple orders he gave were clear enough for even an idiot to understand them.
"This is your field general speaking. Rock and Steel Pokemon in the front! Fighting and Fire Pokemon behind them, ready to fire at any location! Electric and Ground Pokemon in the back! Psychic and Dark Pokemon with ME on the side!"

The reorganization was kind of messy, but once Rumble saw the entire army changing its formation, a huge smile run across his cheeks. We will crush them..
Rhyperiors, Onix' and Steelix', Golems and other tough Pokemon that were able to sustain bullets were in the front, followed by Fighting Pokemon that were going to attack from close distance, Fire Pokemon that were going to burn from afar, followed by Electric and Ground types that were going to destroy everything the first types left.
And finally, Psychics gathered in front of Rumble who was next to the Fire Pokemon.

He lowered his voice, so that only Psychics could hear him. The metallic tone kept piercing their minds.
"Psychics are the strongest of Pokemon, so we'll have to take that to our advantage. Since we can protect our armies with walls and telekinetic forces, we'll do so. Be constanly aware and if you can help with the killing, do so... as for Dark types, ranged ones stay with me, melee ones join the Fighting Pokemon."

The Psychics nodded, although frowning. The Dark types did as he said so.
The sun was setting and the armies of the PR were heading towards Hearthome, Rumble having a great smile on his face, Pokemon were glancing at him with eyes full of doubt.
He took his guns out of his body and started cleaning them off his gel on their way to Mt. Coronet.

Hector watched as the army began marching. The PokeRebels have begun their final assault against the humans, and if they win, once they win, perhaps all the bloodshed can finally be worth it. Hector would wait and see. But instead of leading his troops in the initial command, and heading out with them, Hector had another place he had to be, for another plan he planned to do. As he prepared to leave his office, though, the one person he wanted to come showed up. It was Jun.

Jun came in, and Hector could immediately tell he had been through a lot to get here. Hector was ecstatic to see him again.

"Jun! You made it!"

Jun smiled lightly, his weary eyes shutting for a moment, as if to finally catch a breather themselves.

"I told you I would be here. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

Hector nodded, and together, the two went out of the building. They went forward and saw as the PR army departed from the city. Instead of following them, they went somewhere else, to the place Hector had first seen Jun again, deep underground. Hector looked to Jun, as he asked him a question.

"Do you have it?" Hector asked.

Jun took something out of the bag he had. It was a strange, Red Orb.

*******************************************************************

The PR army was right outside of Hearthome, the city was quiet, and from looking at it from the interior, no one would be able to guess what was going to happen next. Unless, of course, they saw the people inside, preparing, and the army outside, marching.

Just then, right in front of the marching army came a rumbling from the ground. At first, it felt like an earthquake, but those closeby then realized the shaking and pressure was far too centralized. Cracks began to form in the area, and soon, the cracks became bigger. The whole ground then began to get pushed up, and ultimately, collapse.

Out of the debris came a huge object. Those who did not know it would have thought they saw the ground itself form into a monster and roar. But those who knew it knew it well. It was Groudon, the legendary Pokemon of the land.

Out of the giant hole also came Hector and Jun right in front of the army, the Red Orb in Jun's hands, Hearthome right in front of them.

Hector turned toward his army, and spoke.

"Pokemon, now is the time for our final strike. If the humans didn't fear us before, they sure as hell do now. Let's show them what we are capable of. To freedom, to victory!" Hector yelled, and, in a demonstration of his now usual persona, he roared. His roar was loud and proud, as he felt himself carry the roars of hundreds on his back. With that, Groudon moved into the city, followed by the PR Army.

The first step to Sunnyshore had occurred.

Logan Johnson
Army Camp
Mikkelson's Tent

" Ah yea, whatever," Mikkelson retorted, taking another puff from his cigar.

" Listen, Logan. I have received orders to move my battalion over to Pastoria City, you want to come along," Mikkelson asked.

" Sure, why the F*** not," Logan replied, getting out of his chair and leaving the tent. Captain Mikkelson followed Logan out of the tent and towards the Tahoe. Mikkelson ordered the troops to move out over the radio, Logan hearing a collective sound of Soldiers moving and Humvee's turning on. Logan and Captain Mikkelson jumped into the Tahoe, and Logan started the Vehicle. Logan drove out on to the highway and the troop of Humvee's followed behind. Logan drove down Bushmere road until the turnoff for the highway was approached. Logan turned onto the Highway, the Convoy following behind. Logan drove down the highway, catching the occasional odd glance. Logan drove straight down the highway, knowing that the road to Pastoria is straight on the Highway. Logan shook his head at the fact he had agreed to come along. A F***in' suicide mission, Logan thought, Two-hundred men against F*** who knows amount of Pokemon, only F***in' chance we got is if the Pokemon attack Veilstone. Logan drove for a good thirty-forty minutes, with not a word spoken until Logan and the Convoy reached Pastoria City. Logan drove to City Hall, where Captain Mikkelson told him to stop and get out. Captain Mikkelson walked into the building, so Logan followed him.

Jason Fox
Awaiting Invasion

*Sigh* Where the hell are they? The man in the ghillie stood up and began moving back to the Ravager. He knocked on the Hatch so I opened it. "Are you able to zoom in on objects in this?" The man asked. "Yeah, why?" I asked.
"Zoom in to your right just a tad. I think I can see something down there." He said. I turned on the zooming scope and zoomed to the area the man directed to. I saw something but I couldn't quite make out what it exactly was. I could only see the top of what ever it was. I was able to hear a slight roar or growl in the distance. At my first thought It didn't seem like much. But I began to think of what could be that loud. What ever it was I needed to prepare for what was in store.

------VISION------

"NO!" the voice said
"You have to except it." Said another.
"THERE IS NO WAY!" Screamed the voice.
"It's true, Alex is dead" Said the calm voice
"How the Hell did this happen!" said the loud voice.
"You where there! It happened during the battle in SunnyShore! You were Trying to evac him while he was poisoned! You got him in the chopper when it was blasted out of the sky by the PR!" yelled the "Calm" voice
"But... everything that happened, how could he just die." Said the loud voice in a calmer manner.
"Im sorry, but he is dead."

------END OF VISION-------

Jason was knocked out of his vision instantly. "Alex, Dead? Wait, is it the Alex I traveled with? Could he really die during the battle in Sunny-Shore?"
So far the visions I've been having haven't come true, so maybe Alex will have a chance to live, but what about the vision of me sick? I need to get more information. I grabbed my radio and began talking.
"This is Ravager 5 is any one out there?" I waited for a response.
"Ravager 5 this is Ravager 2 come in, over" a voice said.
"Ravager 2 I read you loud and clear" I said back to Ravager 2.
"Ravager 5 at your service" Said Ravager 2
"Do you know anything about a virus going around? I asked
"Nope, everything is clear." they said back
"Any type of, super bombs?" I said thinking about the vision.
"Ok, Im gonna tell you about something only a few people know, if you say ANYTHING they will kill you." They said
"Alright" I replied.
"The HR, CIA, and Government have been working on super weapon. I don't know if it is some-type of vehicle or what ever. They said If things went wrong that was their plan B. There will be an Evac notice before the weapon is released so I'm guessing they will spray the area with some type of disease. I don't know, Just be prepared. Ravager 2 Out" They finished.
I thought to my self "Wow, I better be ready to get out of here when that happens. The HR and the PR are really hiding stuff from me today...

((OOC:Just a post so I have a way to finish my character))
