Lydia
Jubilife City Conference Room As the Weavile was ready to talk, her partner intruded. Lydia wondered why, and soon an answer was found as he talked. Worry spread through her mind as she listened. "Rumble, I can visit mount Coronet and block their escape route by creating roadblocks with boulders." Wade suggested, "I'll find the exit on Mount Coronet and fill it with large pieces of metal and rock. When they find out that their exit has been blocked, it'll be too late." It sounded dangerous, and the public pokemon obviously agreed, murmurs of uncertainty filling the air. Rumble was grinning, though it wasn't friendly. He looked intimidating even from afar. "I don't see why not. But it's up to the Commander what you'll do... am I right?" the Reuniclus was challenging him. His line of sight had switched back to the Zorua. Lydia's face looked shocked, though anger was filling into her body, and a slight frown appeared soon enough. Rumble was also looking at Wade. Their was also something building between the pokemon. Jealousy? No, not possible. However, she was worried for her partner's safety. He was brave, surely strong, but could he really pull off something so dangerous? By himself, none-the-less? Lydia didn't doubt him, though she didn't want him taking the risk. It was obvious Hector didn't either, judging by his reply. "Your request for this mission is denied, Wade, and I'll tell you why: In this conflict with the humans, we are the invaders. That is the most notable fact in this battle. As the invaders, we have to realize one thing. The last battle had seen a lot of Pokemon die, good Pokemon. I will NOT let that many die under my command again. Because if we keep having "victories" like that, we can kiss victory in this whole war goodbye. Which is why I have determined that we leave their exit to Mount Coronet open," He paused for a moment, continueing again, "Think about it, if we get rid of their only exit out of the city, they won't have anywhere to retreat. Allow your opponents an escape route. Forces are more likely to retreat if a plausible route is open. If they're completely cut off, determined resistance can be expected. They will understand that they will die here, and they will fight to the last man, and we, in the process, could lose hundreds. Hundreds that don't need to die. That...is why we leave them their escape route, and we keep this strategy up for ALL of our battles. In this way, we can save many lives, lives that don't need to be lost. If you all take a moment to understand my words, you will realize this is the best way. We keep them on the run, until we have taken all of their bases. Humans may be the enemy, but they are much like us. They don't want to die. They want to live, and if we keep winning, until they have lost enough bases, and lost enough battles, they will eventually give in, and we will get victory." Lydia made a small nod. What her commander said made sense, and she was glad he had denied the umbreon. She felt bad for Wade, knowing he was eager to take on the mission, but as Hector had said; the lives of the pokemon are more important. The Zorua stared back at Wade and Rumble, who both appeared to be testing eachother's wits. "Boys- what are you gunna do with them?" She really wished they wouldn't go any farther than a staring contest, but everything was unpredictable. Each pokemon had something on their minds. Something devious. Lydia looked at Wade with a concerned face, hoping he would see and linger back into the crowd. Seeing no reaction, she turned to Rumble. "Stop getting him mad," she said through telepathy. The pokemon was getting on her nerves. However, even with her words, his smile remained. She felt useless. The only thing she could do was watch. |
Althalos Fizen
Oreburgh City streets Althalos was listening half-heartedly to the general when Jack showed up. He seemed confused, scared and overall befuddled. Ali was trying to calm him down and motioned for Althalos to help. He walked over to the terrified boy and wrapped his bionic arm around his shoulders. The metal felt cold, and strange in the shape of a human limb rather than a gun, not only that, but it was kind of heavy. HE and Ali started walking towards the hospital with Jack in between them. When they got to said private room that the scientist had set up, they sat him on a bed. "This is probably one of the most inconvenient things that has happened so far." Althalos sighed and put his hands on his hips. "Jack, come on man, snap out of it." he looked the boy straight in the eyes, with a stern but reassuring look, at leas the hoped it was reassuring, and thought about smacking him the way cartoon characters some times did to make others more lucid. "We're gonna get you some help, everything will be just fine. I'll be right back." Althalos nodded at Ali, and went to find a neurologist. Surprisingly, there were three in the building, and all of them were in the same general area. He told all three of them of what happened and asked where a psychologist was before sending one of them to the room. He went to fetch said psychologist and took him to the room too. The two doctors crowded around Jack and Althalos sat in a small plastic chair, waiting for something to happen. |
Silence Quickslash
Jubilife City PR Base, Conference Room Silence opened her mouth to speak but before she could, Wade interrupted her. Her eye twitched in annoyance but she kept a passive expression on her face. "Rumble, I can visit mount Coronet and block their escape route by creating roadblocks with boulders." Wade said, "I'll find the exit on Mount Coronet and fill it with large pieces of metal and rock. When they find out that their exit has been blocked, it'll be too late." He glanced at Lydia a few times and Silence held back a small laugh. It seemed he was trying to impress the Zorua. "I don't see why not. But it's up to the Commander what you'll do... am I right?" Rumble said. They want to live, and if we keep winning, until they have lost enough bases, and lost enough battles, they will eventually give in, and we will get victory." Silence was impressed. 'Seems he's really thought this one through,' she thought than cleared her throat. "As I was about to say, there is one problem with Rumble's plan. There are some pokemon that would be to large fit through the sewers, besides the fact that sewers have water and some pokemon absolutely hate water. That is why I suggest that the ground-types, seeing as they are immune to electricity, go with the pokemon that wouldn't do so well in the sewers and destroy the electric fence. This should distract the humans long enough for the pokemon in the sewers to get into the city without being noticed until it's to late." She had been thought this through and through and didn't see any problems, but she wasn't exactly an expert on war strategy. She looked at Hector and waited to hear what he thought of her idea. |
Mark Vargas
Sunyshore Streets Mark was wondering the streets when he thought about how everything was going on the front line. "Where to get DragonSkin, Where o Where" Mark said to himself as he headed back to his new condo. When mark got inside, he went to his bed and opened the weapons trunk at the foot of his bed. Inside was the Barret M-107 Sniper rifle, The only real difference from his other sniper is the rareness and the very slight increase in stopping power, And the tribal design engraved on the steel plates. This sniper was one-of-a-kind. Also inside to marks surprise was a silenced 10mm pistol like the one he had on him, but this one was made of some mysterious metal and had something engraved in it that seemed to glow blue. "Wha da f**k. bet you can't find these at the armory, hehehe." Jorge walked in behind him. "Thanks for the condo man, you try your jacuzzi yet?" "No, i gotta get back to the front soon, Jorge, I'll Be leaving once i complete this list." Jorge took the list and looked it over. "74 1 liter bottles, I can't even drink that much beer." Mark pulled out his walkie talkie. "Last offer, if ANYONE in Oreburgh needs something in sunyshore, i can grab it before i head back." Jorge interrupted "I think i know where you can get custom dragonskin armor, in Celestic city." |
Ali Krista
Oreburgh Hospital Come on Jack, you're stronger than this... Ali thought desperately as Althalos left him on his own with the Commander. He turned to look into Jack's eyes, and crouched so that they were level with his. "Jack Spark, do you remember me? It's Ali." There was no sign of recognition in the boy's face, and Ali realised for the first time that Jack really was only fifteen. "Jack Spark, you were the Indigo League Champion. You live in Sunyshore in the Human Republic Base. You are fifteen years old." The conversation continued like this for a few minutes, and soon Ali was running out of things to say. He'd only recently met the man, after all. When Ali was beginning to clutch at straws, Althalos returned to the room with three neurologists. Ali nodded solemnly as they surrounded the bed, shining tiny torches in his eyes and muttering below their breath. The sight angered Ali. He was a human, their commander, and they were treating him like a lab specimen. He sat next to Althalos with his face in his palms. A few minutes passed, when Ali had remembered something he had heard about the Commander, before he'd even signed up for HR. "The Commander? He's pretty good actually. Always carries a statue in his pocket. Groudon or something, I dunno. We all find it a bit weird to be honest." Ali jumped to his feet, giving him a slight head rush. He charged through the doctors and began rummaging through the pockets of Jack's pants. Oh, the odd looks he was earning himself. When his hand surfaced it was holding a small figure, but it was no Groudon. It was a mighty Rayquaza, and Ali couldn't help but admire the craftsmanship. He smiled slightly at the statue before thrusting it into the hands of his commander. "You are Jack Spark." |
Rumble
Jubilife City Conference Room Hector replied to Wade. His decision didn't favour Rumble's plans to get Wade out of the way - but he decided it wasn't important for now. He also thought that the humans would be too surprised to react and they'd might be dead way before they even discovered their escape path was blocked. But suddenly, a surge of energy run through his mind, coming from Lydia, as he was looking at her. "Stop getting him mad" "Your boyfriend is about to do something stupid for you... aren't you gonna stop him?" Rumble kept the smile on his face. But he heard a "cough" from the Weavile who was about to talk before. His facial expression suddenly turned serious. That Weavile must be upto something. This should distract the humans long enough for the pokemon in the sewers to get into the city without being noticed until it's to late." Rumble smirked. Somebody revealed a "flaw" in his plan. He couldn't stop himself from replying even if her proposal to let the ground Pokemon destroy the electric fence around the city was favouring his plan: ton infiltrate the human Armory unnoticed. He wouldn't have to deactivate the fence himself, winning him some time. But he decided he needed the trust of Pokemon now. He stared at the Weavile who was now looking at the Commander, and then spoke with eyes glowing and the serious expression still on his face. "No. All the Pokemon here can get through the sewers, seeing as the sewers have actual corridors - not just pipes. The water can be beared for the good of all Pokemon. And I'm pretty sure I can deactivate the elecric fence..." Rumble paused and his evil smile came back again as he was putting the emphasis on 'deactivate'. He pulled the remote he showed before "with this. I've left a good amount of explosives in my base, able to destroy the fence's electric supply machine." Rumble got lost in his thoughts again, after he stopped talking. He was trying to imagine what the humans would hide in their armory, and what he could do with it. But Rumble needed the Pokemon to trust him first. |
Wade
Jubilife City Conference Room "I don't see why not. But it's up to the Commander what you'll do... am I right?" Rumble spoke in a intimidating tone, and Wade didn't reply. If he had to do dangerous missions just to impress his partner, he would. He couldn't let her be in love with someone else...but the 'does she love me' mystery was still unsolved, and Wade was getting paranoid. Just then, Hector spoke, declining his idea, and Wade's dreams just went down the drain. "Think about it, if we get rid of their only exit out of the city, they won't have anywhere to retreat. Humans may be the enemy, but they are much like us. They don't want to die. They want to live, and if we keep winning, until they have lost enough bases, and lost enough battles, they will eventually give in, and we will get victory." Wade wanted to bang his head against a wall. Hector had a point but that way he couldn't do anything heroic. Looking at Rumble, he'd probably figured that out too. He seemed to be underestimating Wade, and he didn't like that. Underestimating, and stealing his girl? Cruel. Just Cruel. I've left a good amount of explosives in my base, able to destroy the fence's electric supply machine." There must be another way...there must be...but what? (seriously. what? lol) |
Hector Arcturus
Jubilife City PR Base, Conference Room "As I was about to say, there is one problem with Rumble's plan. This should distract the humans long enough for the pokemon in the sewers to get into the city without being noticed until it's to late." Hector agreed somewhat. They would reduce casualties greatly, while infiltrating the city and taking out the humans from the inside out. But Hector was still open for suggestions, and the Pokemon around provided them with some. "No. All the Pokemon here can get through the sewers, seeing as the sewers have actual corridors - not just pipes. The water can be beared for the good of all Pokemon. And I'm pretty sure I can deactivate the electric fence...with this. I've left a good amount of explosives in my base, able to destroy the fence's electric supply machine." Hector decided to speak now. He wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page. In a way, this conference was a meeting where everyone chimed in, and Hector was the mediator. Well, a mediator who commanded all of them. "I like the distraction plan, and I like the fact that we have a tool that can destroy the fence, but I also agree with Silence. I think the humans would suspect us making our way underground if we only simply try to deactivate the fence using a bomb. No, we need a diversion that will work, something that will make them think we are going for a direct attack on them, just like the previous battle. Because of the previous battle, they might assume we will make the same charging battle strategy as before, so if Pokemon, especially those strong against lightning, like Ground types, attack the fence while the rest sneaks underground, it should be successful." Hector paused for a moment and sighed. "But to make it seem like we don't have anything planned, we have to make the diversion look good, REAL good. So...I will lead the diversion attack on the electric fence. General Khufu is in charge of the army going through the sewers." He shot a glance at Khufu and nodded at him. He also had to have someone with Khufu who could balance out his gentle and calm nature, someone sturdy and not afraid to do some damage, but also have the ability to pull of a subtle mission such as this. He had someone in mind, even though it was a gamble with this pick for second-in-command. "Rumble will be second-in-command of the force underground." Unpopular might be this last decision, as he had the feeling a few of the Pokemon didn't like or didn't trust Rumble completely, but he wasn't here to make unpopular decision, he was here to make the right ones. Hector just hoped he DID make a right one. |
Mark Vargas
Sunyshore Mark's Condo :) "Celestic city? That's kinda off course. And what do you mean by custom?" Mark stared at Jorge puzzled. "If i was told correctly it's urban camo torso and leg, the helmet is custom with full head protection, If you can find them, there upgrades such as Heads Up Display and what not. The guy is giving it away for free to the first soldier there." "When were you told this?" Mark Asked. "Right before you arrived, oh and your seventy four bottles, i can get you fourteen. Along with enough gasoline and Styrofoam to make napalm for them." "Jesus! Where do you get this stuff!" "It's all being sent to your car right now." Jorge said, putting down his radio "Thanks, ill be taking my leave now, have fun with your condo." Mark walked out the door and to the stairs. Mark walked down and out the main door, they looked expensive and to his car. Mark popped open the trunk to find a container of already made napalm, 14 rags, and 14 beer bottles. 'I'm not the only one who will need these, i can give everyone 2, but ill have 2 left over.' Closing the trunk and hopping in the car, mark turned the key and started driving to Celestic city with his sniper in the left passenger seat, and the.... strange pistol in his holster. Mark arrived in Celestic city at sunset. Mark was driving through the city and stopped to get gas. Mark made sure to have every weapon on his body off, but kept his radio on, just in case. Mark walked in to the store and heard the *DLING* of the bell above the door. Mark walked over to the refrigerated section and bought a 'sandvitch' along with 10 dollars worth of gas. "12.75 please" "Here ya go" Mark handed the man the money and walked out of the store eating his 'sandvitch' when he heard an old man shout "Are there no soldiers here, if not this find gentleman will get this first class armor." Mark ran over, that must be the armor he needed. Mark stopped in front of the men. "Sorry, but that is the armor i need, and im in the H.R, First Lieutenant Vargas" "The armor is yours, these upgrades need to be fixed though, and will still take time to reboot." "Thanks, and here you are, sir, for taking the armor you wanted." mark handed the man 100 dollars and went back to the gas station, and into the Rest Room. Mark took off his clothing and put it back in his backpack. He put on the armor, and helmet, which had a some toggleable one way material, obviously hard to penetrate. Mark didn't get how it worked, but it was cool. Mark headed back to his F1 and took of his helmet to finish his 'sandvich'. The car revved and floored it to Mt. Coronet and back to Oreburgh, arriving through the gap in the fence and pulled up to the hospital. Vargas put on his helmet, switching the visor to 1 way and got out of the car, opening the trunk and preparing all of the Molotovs for the HR members that he actually knew. Mark walked into the hospital and to the front desk. "You wouldn't happen to know where the general is, would you?" Mark asked the nurse. "I'll Bring you there, Karen, Cover for me." The nurse lead Mark to a suspicious door and left. Mark knocked on the door. (The two extra molotovs are for steven, when he gets here. And just for reference my helmet looks like this except the visor is silver.http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5255/5457251710_e3dfc2629f_m.jpg |
Lydia
Jubilife/PR Base Conference Room "Your boyfriend is about to do something stupid for you. Aren't you going to stop him?" Her ear twitched with nerve, "Working on it, thanks. Not as if your helping." Conversations of the battle plans were spreading between both Rumble, Hector, and now Silence. Lydia was zoned out, only keeping her telepathy on the Rumble while still trying to focus on Wade. In all reality, she was freaking out; the umbreon spy showed no emotion, but the Zorua knew what feelings he was experiencing from the inside. He was trying to impress her when he had no reason to do so. Rumble was barely a friend, if not an intimidating acquaintance. Whatever the pokemon thought was between them, it wasn't there. For a brief moment, she cut her thoughts from the two so she could gather information. She only heard a chunk of what the Arcanine had been blathering about. "But to make it seem like we don't have anything planned, we have to make the diversion look good, REAL good. So...I will lead the diversion attack on the electric fence. General Khufu is in charge of the army going through the sewers. Rumble will be second-in-command of the force underground." She growled louder this time. Lydia would refuse any commands he gave her- she was in a higher rank after all. What she was concerned about was Wade. The little pokemon was still in the front of the crowd, waiting for the umbreon to come back to her. Her silent pleas weren't working. "Wade! What are you doing?", she communicated through telepathy, "Are you ok?" |

Rumble said and an evil smile crept across his face as he put emphasis on the word 'deactivate'. He pulled the remote he showed before. "With this. I've left a good amount of explosives in my base, able to destroy the fence's electric supply machine." Silence flicked her eyes to him, her face as impassive as ever. She didn't trust him one bit. Than again, she didn't trust anyone really. 'He's up to something...' she thought. "I like the distraction plan," Hector said, "and I like the fact that we have a tool that can destroy the fence, but I also agree with Silence. I think the humans would suspect us making our way underground if we only simply try to deactivate the fence using a bomb. "Rumble will be second-in-command of the force underground." Though she kept it well hidden, Silence was glad that the commander liked her plan. She was finally getting noticed after being with the PR for so long. She just hoped Hector wouldn't regret having Rumble as second in command underground. At least she would be there to keep an eye on him. |
Wade
Jubilife City Conference Room "But to make it seem like we don't have anything planned, we have to make the diversion look good, REAL good. So...I will lead the diversion attack on the electric fence. General Khufu is in charge of the army going through the sewers." He shot a glance at Khufu and nodded at him. "Rumble will be second-in-command of the force underground." Wade didn't believe what he had just heard. Rumble? Second in command? But he's new here! Wade had been in service for four years, and he hadn't been assigned to lead anybody. Hector was absolutely out of his mind, but Wade didn't want to blurt that out loud. The distraction plan was nice, and that way the number of casualties would be reduced to a minimum. Wade felt rather uncomfortable when he was looking at Rumble, somehow Rumble didn't seem right to him. Turning to the other side, Lydia was looking at him, her eyes full of concern. Then a feminine voice rung inside his head. "Wade! What are you doing? Are you ok?" Figuring that it was probably from Lydia, Wade shot her a friendly but worried glance at her and replied the same way with Psychic. I-I'm okay Lydia. No need to worry about me. There must be a way for him to stand out, to come back like a hero...listening to their conversation once again, Wade went into a state of deep thought. Maybe he could arrive before the others...no, that wouldn't work. Frustrated, Wade wanted to scream, but he knew he couldn't, not in front of everybody. He wanted to leave to room, but that might give Hector a bad impression. What can I do to win Lydia's heart?! Wade panicked in his mind. Which reminded him. Where was Jack? He couldn't just die like that...no, killing him was his job. Maybe, just maybe, he could pay Jack a little visit...and if he could succeed in doing that...Lydia was bound to like him. "I'll go once the meeting is done." Wade murmured to himself. This was his chance. To find Jack and Kill him. |
Luke Van Eyla
Jubilife City PR Base Just as he crisped the dummies into glacial parodies, Luke heard a babel of sound coming from the base and he hurriedly shut off everything and dashed out of the battleroom. He halted as he veered round to hear a speech being made by a Reuniclus. He espied Hector standing nearby on the platform they were on, addressing the Pokemon. "My name is Rumble.. So, as we all know, Oreburgh, like every other human city has sewers. The entrance to the sewers of Oreburgh city is just outside the town. I happen to have a... laboratory in these sewers, right under their armory." He paused and Luke notice the crowd disperse soft talks of murmurs. "I know how to get in, and out of there. And... before I left that place, I planted a Transmitter, which lets me know what exactly is going on there with this remote right here." The Reuniclus whip out a remote from....it's body? And they all had a view of just the normal remote controller. "We will be able to get our troops inside the city safely from the entrance of the sewers. But there are two exits, one next to the armory and one in the north part of the town. It's up to the Commander what we will do." The Vanillite thought that this was all it. Just a simple tactical advisory, nothing much. It's like 'Go and hit and run.' "Oh and one more thing. The humans have upgraded their city defense, as they seemed to predict our assault. I was able to get word for these defense systems by infiltrating the human communication channels. That's all I could find: an electric fence around the town, which will prevent our troops from getting in the usual way. And, the cowardly humans developed an escape plan, to Mt. Coronet." That, made the Fresh Snow Pokemon sharpen his eyebrows. Home...before they took it away. Then Wade, his old pal, spoke up, offering help on a mission. Because if we keep having Pyrrhic Victories like that, we can kiss victory in this whole war goodbye. Which is why I have determined that we leave their exit to Mount Coronet open. Think about it, if we get rid of their only exit out of the city, they won't have anywhere to retreat. They want to live, and if we keep winning, until they have lost enough bases, and lost enough battles, they will eventually give in, and we will get victory." It was a long explanation from the Commander, but one had to agree with the logic behind it all. Luke was floated in mid-air, waiting about if anyone were to notice him at all or assign him to something. |
Rumble
Jubilife City Conference Room "Working on it, thanks. Not as if your helping." "Oh, excuse me, but everything he does, or will do, is his fault" Rumble was eating the Commander's words. He was right... Rumble should've thought the Commander would need a diversion plan. There goes the trust of Pokemon. "Rumble will be second-in-command of the force underground." Hector announced. Rumble looked at him and simply nodded with the grin still on his face. He was expecting such. Then he looked at his opponents. Wade, Lydia and that Weavile. Their own eyes deceive them.. Heck, I don't need them to trust me. Though they can interfere with the Plan: Armory. "I propose we leave as soon as possible." Rumble said, with eyes glowing with greed. "I need to go now." Announced Rumble as he levitated out of the room. He glanced at the Weavile as he passed next to her. Some Pokemon were staring at him but he didn't mind. It was dark outside. Rumble followed the avenue to his appartment, analyzing the events of the day. .. Everything is going according to the plan.. All I need to do now is prepare for the battle. I might never be coming back here. Thought as he walked inside his appartment. He immediately started gathering all the cylinders with his bullets and fuel for his Flamethrower and put them in his body, next to his armor. He took the blueprints as well. Then he fell asleep. (OCC: Man, everyone is after Rumble! He's really a threat to the Pokemon here xD) |
Lydia
Jubilife City Conference Room ( OOC: Sorry. Crappy post. >.< ) Words were pounding into her mind from both the Reuniclus and now the Umbreon. Her frustration was rising, as she wasn't pleased with her replies. "Oh, excuse me, but everything he does, or will do, is his fault," said Rumble, as Wade also replied. "I-I'm okay Lydia. No need to worry about me," D*mnit. He was hiding from her. That was, surprisingly, unexpected. She hated it. Flicking her tail back and forth, she struggled to keep her calm. Her wishes were being granted. Rumble was turning for the leave. He appeared rushed for something, actually. "I propose we leave as soon as possible," he said aloud to both the commander and his fellow pokemon, "I need to go now." Without another word, he crept past the crowd and out of the room. Many were staring, including herself. For some reason, she found the urge to follow, though she couldn't leave until the meeting was declared over. Lydia waited impatiently, rolling her eyes back to the PR Leader. |
Wade
Jubilife City Conference Room "I need to go now." Rumble broke the silence, and he turned, leaving the room before the meeting was even dismissed. People were staring at him, but he didn't seem to mind. Lydia was staring too, and for one second there, Lydia seemed to move a little as if she wanted to follow. But she didn't and Wade sighed in relief. But why did Rumble leave all of a sudden? He was curious, and he had to find out. Rumble had secrets. Too many secrets. Rumble didn't look friendly, but he had to do it. For Lydia. Getting up, he turned to Hector and took a deep deep breath. "I'm going to the restroom." Wade spoke, as calm as he could and exited the room shortly, leaving Lydia alone for a while. Following Rumble from behind, Wade hid behind the shadows, only a few lamp-posts lighting up the avenue. After a few minutes of following, Rumble stopped before a building and walked inside, the door sliding open. His apartment. The door was closing, and Wade panicked. Running as fast as he could, he charged towards the door, only to find out that he was too late. Crashing onto the closed door, he bounced back, his head twirling because of the impact. He was one second too late. One second too late...he almost had him. Rumble and his secrets, which were located inside his apartment. He couldn't just bust into the apartment. Who knew what Rumble had inside? It was night, and the few lampposts weren't possibly bright enough to light up the streets. He was thinking about Lydia, the most perfect and beautiful Zorua he had ever seen. Since the day they've met, he had been madly in love with her. But until now, she hadn't kissed him once, or took his hand. It was all Wade. She was evasive as if she didn't want him. Jack, i'm coming for you again...and this time, the moon is with me. Lydia, wish me luck... When he thought about Lydia, he sighed. She didn't seem to be interested in him anymore. She was so passive...so...it was like she didn't care anymore...his first drop of tear rolling down his eyes, he ran along the dark paths, his legs carrying him as fast as they could as he headed towards Oreburgh city. It was quiet along the way. People were all asleep, and Wade had no difficulty travelling at night. His reddish eyes glowing like flashlights, his rings glowing bright blue, he dashed and ran along dark paths, trying to be as stealthy as possible. It wasn't hard. Nothing could stop a determined Umbreon. Lydia was still in his mind, and he was still sulking quietly as he galloped, but right now, he wanted to focus. Everything would be better if he could kill or capture the Commander of the HR. And Lydia...Lydia would finally acknowledge him...and they could be together... He didn't know that this mission would get him killed...and he would never see Lydia again. |
Lydia
Jubilife Conference Room Lydia watched as Wade left. Just what she needed, both of them out of the room. She smiled with relief as she crept through the crowds and to the door. With a small illusion set up, the fox pokemon went through it without anyone noticing. However, the sound of the door was slightly heard, and she flinched. Hopefully no one knew she left...if it mattered. Walking through the base and outside, a whip of wind blew past her face, sending her fur flying to the side. Not natural whip, but an abnormal gust. She fixed her mane. Turning to the side, nothing was visible except a fading ray of blue. She tilted her head at the sight. The color soon vanished, but she kept her mind on it while looking for Rumble and her partner. Through her line of sight, nothing was visible. Twisting her eyes in every direction, still nothing. Her luck had ran out as fast as it had came. However, she knew one place where the Reuniclus would always be- his apartment. And, if not there, somewhere else. Running up to the door, her tiny feet made no sounds as they hit the ground. Sliding to a halt, the Zorua looked under the mat. "If you need anything, the key to my apartment is under the mat at the entrance..." Poking her nose under it revealed a spare key. Digging her paw under the mat, her tiny 'fingers' pulled it out with ease. She lifted it up, examining its structure. It was a brilliant silver, though obviously not composed of the material she was thinking of. All the same, it wasn't the key that mattered to her; it was the Reuniclus, which was far more interesting than his keys. Interesting, maybe 'scary', possibly intimidating- all of the above? Reaching for the door, the key shook in her paws and she drew her tiny arm back in surprise. Her eyes lit in frustration of herself, "Get a grip on yourself. What are you doing? He's just a pokemon. Just...holds power over you." |
Rumble
Jubilife City Appartment Rumble hadn't sleep for more than 5 minutes when he suddenly woke up. He levitating in the middle of the living room. It was then when he realised who messed up the appartment was. He frowned as he looked at his now-empty desk. Rumble wanted to spend a little more time with his gadgets but that wasn't possible now. Sleep was a must. With sleepy eyes, he wondered in his appartment searching for water. He ended up in the kitchen. Rumble put his hand under the faucet and let the water run through him, guessing that's how the humans did it. The cute little being inside his mechanized body opened its mouth and drank the water that was coming from his hand, from his finger. When was the last time I drank some of this...? He blinked his eyes as he was still sleepy. Rumble analyzed why he woke up. Was he anxious? Or did something bother him? Then the Psychic Pokemon was sensing something - curiousity. He heard a noise from outside his door. He rushed to it and opened it, looked down to see Lydia holding the keys. This time he didn't smile or at least show his teeth, he simply kept his frown. "What'd ya want" Rumble said with his fake kindness all gone, using telepathy to adjust his voice not to sound sleepy, making it sound metallic. He was looking down. He thought he was alot taller than her, ignoring the fact that he was levitating. |
Hector Arcturus
Jubilife City PR Base, Conference Room Hector spotted Luke among the crowd of Pokemon around. He turned away, though, more important things on his mind. Suddenly, Rumble spoke. "I propose we leave as soon as possible." Hector agreed. He didn't like waiting much, and the longer they waited, the more chance the humans had to prepare, even if they didn't know where they were attacking, they could guess. "I need to go now." Rumble said, as he floated out of the room. Hector nodded as he left. Wade spoke then, leaving for the bathroom. He noticed another Pokemon, a Zorua, sneak off as well. He had enough. What was said has been said, and now he leaves the majority of the sewer attack in the hands of General Khufu and Rumble. As for the other battle, the diversion, Hector would plan for that personally, as it would be the harder, in fact, much harder battle to fight, as it was, in a way, a frontal assault. Still, Hector would do what he must to prepare for it as best as he could. "This meeting is adjourned. All Pokemon, prepare for the battle. Any ground Pokemon, or any Pokemon who dislike the water of the sewers, you shall join me in the diversion assault. Meet me in a bit so I can debrief you all on how the assault will go down. We leave for Oreburgh soon. Very soon." Hector left the conference room, and headed for his office, where he put on his helmet, and went over his plans one more time in his head. The electric fence assault would be the harder of the two missions, but Hector would do his best to make sure as many as possible survive, and more importantly, that the underground army won't be caught. Once he was satisfied with the plans he made, Hector left his office to proceed to gather his part of the troops at the base of the New PR Base. It was time to go to war. |
Lydia
Jubilife Secret Apartment The Zorua's eyes snapped open as the pokemon opened the door she was originally going to open herself. An embarrassed grin ran across her face as she tucked the key back under the mat. Her grin didn't match with his face, however, as it was a deep frown. She had never seen him make such an unpleasant expression at her, and it made her smile disappear as well. Suddenly, her head began to hurt as piercing words struck into her head. Though it wasn't loud, the metallic sounds were sharp. "What do ya want?" his friendly attitude was gone. It made her cringe. The Reuniclus was hovering above her. Lydia hated feeling small. Sick of the telepathy, she talked with her mouth open, "N-nothing, really. Mind if I tag along with you?" She didn't wait for an answer, as she stepped right beside him, waiting for the Reuniclus to come out the door- just so she could follow him again. A selfish grin crossed her face. Lydia wouldn't let him pull anything weird on the PRs. Though her trust was usually easy to gain, this pokemon had crossed the line. Something that looked so weird and acted as such couldn't possibly be trustworthy. "Come on, lets go," she said, her voice taunting the pokemon beside her. If there was one thing she was better at then sneaking around- it was being a brat. |
Rumble
Jubilife City Apartment As Rumble spoke imbuing his words with telepathy, Lydia slighty smirked as his voice was piercing his mind. He had a sore throat after his speech, he hadn't spoke so much ever in 13 years of his life. "N-nothing, really. Mind if I tag along with you?" Rumble's frown remained on his face, as he was looking at her stepping beside him for him to exit his apartment. She grinned as she returned his stare. "Come on, lets go" she said taunting him to hurry up. Rumble kept frowning, lost in his thoughts. He nodded, his amber eyes reflecting her red ones. The door slammed behind him as he was still staring at her. Rumble walked forward, finally disengaging from that intense moment of staring. She could be much of a problem. I wonder if it'd be wise.. "Why'd you come here?" Rumble kept the metallic voice up. The tone of his voice was serious. Action-time. But he didn't want to sound weak. They walked into the elevator and Rumble suddenly raised his left arm and pulled out a drill from the back of his armor, then put the drill in the shooting glove of his right hand. Loaded, he thought as they were walking down the street. |
Luke Van Eyla
Jubilife City PR Base Luke watched as his buddy and a cellular-based Pokemon had some mental war or stare dare game, but it was obvious of the apprehension hanging around like a dank drape. Then the Reuniclus said something and left the place, quickly before Luke could blink his eyes clear to what was going on. Was there a spark of jealousy, or perhaps a love triangle of some sorts within the PokeRebels? If such matters can divide the Pokemon, they'll be weak against mankind, and that worried the Vanillite quite a lot. He frowned and then, his Umbreon friend stalked out of the place too with an excuse of going to the restroom. Then, the Zorua who supposedly helped him in the earlier battle flicked her tail irritably as though her mind was struggling against unseen things. Luke tensed, wary if those unseen things might be harmful towards him too. As she saw the two Pokemon exit the hall, most of the Pokemon gazed at them, several bewildered. The Zorua rolled her eyes and Luke fluttered about in the air, thinking and thinking. Wade, his pal, definitely had caught onto something. Something as fishy as a Feebas. He disliked those fishes, always under a guise of ugliness until they transformed into elegant serpentine Pokemon with dazzling talents. How irksome, such things but then, nothing was infallible. Luke tried to conceal a smirk as he realized what his friend had placed two and two together. Well, I'd put my finger on that Psychic too. Making sure that no one was observing him; the vanilla cone slipped out through the doors and vanished into the shadows of the PR's nighttime corridors. He thought someone followed him but all that greet him when he turned was the darkness. And moonbeams. How coincidental, or is it just me? Suddenly a icy draft of air blew in from an open window, so ominous that Luke though he saw something moving ahead of him. Drawing in the night's breeze, he floated forward and gained speed to whoever was rushing before him. Then the shadow disappeared as Luke and his quarry exited the PR base. Out into Jubilife's streets, lampposts flickered, one of them blew out. THe Vanillite then wished he hadn't done that, for someone or something might be spying on him and becoming suspicions. Up far away, a four-legged creature with nightly-blue rings sped and the Vanillite swiftly went on its tail. Thrice, Luke nearly crashed into a tree, an isolated trash can and a lamppost, but the Pokemon didn't seem to notice him. It was probably to engross in its hunt to know what was behind. But Luke knew that his weakness would give him away. His rhombus ice-blue cheeks illuminated the dark and attracted all nocturnal attention. He heard the flapping of Zubats and Golbats above him, and the occasional coo of a Hoothoot perching on one of the roofs. Almost nobody was out on the streets; houses were dimly lit with people inside going to bed. Soon, lights were out and the only left came from his puny-sized conical body and the shivering wisps of frost that refracted the light waves from lamps. Not much longer will the Litwicks and Lampents rise to do their bidding but now they were seldom seen, since they weren't any humans in this city. They most likely haunted citizens of Oreburgh and other lingering human landmarks. Luke started to cover the distance between him and what appeared to be an Umbreon. Then, his suspicions were confirmed and as he recognized who it was, he sharply gasped- Wade. |
Lydia
Jubilife City Streets Her target had began levitating away from the door. It slammed behind her with Psychic force and made her slightly jump. "Oh, yeah. Psychic pokemon..." While walking with him, he seemed to be eyeballing her in a way which made her feel unpleasant. His alien eyes were intimidating as always, but his frown only added onto the tense situation. He looked away, though, and she tried to keep her calm. It was obvious they were both thinking of separate things. Breaking the silence, he spoke once again with his metallic telepathy. She folded her ears back, not enjoying his wretched sounds, "Why did you come here?" Obviously Lydia couldn't tell him the answer. She was a suckish liar. A reply wasn't coming out of her mouth. "I thought we could get to know each other better. You know, friend wise," was all she managed to get out. However, it wasn't a lie. The Zorua was gathering information anyways, and now it would be easier to earn his support. Enemies wasn't what she had intended to make with the Reuniclus. It just ended that way. Rumble was playing around with his instruments. Her ears raised in curiosity, but slipped back to their regular position when she saw him looking at her. Somehow, she knew something was wrong. "Uhhh, what are those?" she asked, not with a frightened tone but more with an intriguing voice she hoped to display in success, "And where are we going again?" |
Rumble
Jubilife City Streets "I thought we could get to know each other better. You know, friend wise" replied Lydia. Rumble detected the tension in her voice. He was almost trained to do that. But he didn't answer. If she didn't mess with his plans, he'd gladly be her friend. But he also sensed she wasn't sure what to say. That's interesting.. "Uhhh, what are those?" spoke Lydia, with an intriguing tone. Rumble smirked as he peered in her eyes once more. Maybe it was fear? "Haha.." Rumble laughed out, as he raised his right hand and pointed at the drills with his left one. "These," he paused "are made for killing." His voice was still metallic and his tone was maniacal, almost bloodthirsty. "... And where are we going again?" That simple question made Rumble understand her motives. She came into my house without a reason just to drag me out? What, she wants to go on a stroll with me, have small talk? His evil smile came back to him, but he kept his voice the same with telepathy. "I thought you knew." said to the small Pokemon next to him with a challenging voice, looking forward in the streets. |
Khufu's steps were heavy on the pavement, almost as if it was a pain to walk. Rumble evidently had left his apartment, so Khufu's natural reaction was to search out in the streets. Rumble probably had needed some fresh air to relax, and Khufu couldn't blame him. After all, being lifted to second-in-command of the attack would make anyone uneasy. But Khufu had one reason for doing this, and he wanted to get it done without any distractions.
Unfortunately, he found Rumble in the dark streets talking to Lydia, and Khufu, unable to wait for a good time to announce himself, cut in, ordering, "Hector already left. We have a small window of opportunity to gather everybody and get on the move. I'll have to be responsible for organising the battle plans so another disaster doesn't happen. But I can still help you gather the troops now." Khufu was determined to make this battle a success. He looked at Rumble with fierce eyes to let him know he meant business and glanced up at the waxing-crescent moon. This moon always reminded Khufu of the night he left his master, and his brain was always flooded with memories and strange feelings. But he forced them aside every night. Now, though, his purposeful appearance covered his anxiety. His mind kept telling him that something big was on its way, something terrible, and Khufu somehow felt that was true. All he could do was hope it was preventable. |
Lydia
Jubilife City Streets He laughed at her question. Thought it was short, the tension was rising. Sooner or later it would go too far. His metallic voice was kept, though the little pokemon detected something else inside the telepathy. She didn't know how to react to this either. "Haha..these, are made for killing," he said, pointing to the unusual drill. What a dumb question. Of course he was a killer; probably a good one at that. She tried to forcefully make herself oblivious to the Reuniclus, in hope that it would soothe her. However, reality easily took over, her attempts failing miserably. He continued by answering her alternate question. "I thought you knew." "Haha, you thought wrong," she giggled back, "I know you have that special mission though. From the Commander," She tried to seem comfortable through the mess, but by now, Rumble's smile had returned. He was challenging her. Lydia shot back to match his crooked smile, but hers couldn't hold for too long, nor was as frightening. "Why did I decide to follow him in the first place?" Suddenly, Hector appeared from the corner of her eye. He was talking, "Hector already left. We have a small window of opportunity to gather everybody and get on the move. I'll have to be responsible for organizing the battle plans so another disaster doesn't happen. But I can still help you gather the troops now." Her smile widened. "I'll see you later," she snickered, stopping in place. |
Rumble
Jubilife City Streets "Haha, you thought wrong," she giggled "I know you have that special mission though. From the Commander," Lydia tried to smile back to him. But her eyes didn't match his ones - she was full of doubt while he was full of power. Just when he was about to send back his poisonous reply, the general he hadn't really talked came close. Rumble's smile disappeared, and his face took a serious expression as general's look was serious as well. "Hector already left. We have a small window of opportunity to gather everybody and get on the move. I'll have to be responsible for organising the battle plans so another disaster doesn't happen. But I can still help you gather the troops now." Rumble forgot about the small fury problem which was following him and was only looking at the general who kept the passive serious expression on his face. He's TOO passive. "I see. We'll be heading to the PR then? I can't wait to spread some fire..." said Rumble with his new voice as he followed the general to the PR. |
Lydia
Jubilife City Streets The Reuniclus passed by her without a reply, changing his voice and expressions completely. She was shocked by his sudden change, and her eyes burned with anger. He was deceiving all of them. Swaying her tail with irritation, Lydia ripped her eyesight from both Khufu and Rumble. The Zorua would have left, but there was simply nothing left to do, and she couldn't stalk them to the base. With a sigh of relief, she relaxed. At least now she could find Wade, wherever he was. Looking around, however, nothing was visible. A tiny whimper came out from her throat. Where was he...? Nowhere in sight, she began walking around, almost irritated that he had disappeared in such an instant. "He can't be doing that one mission. Hector denied him. Is he doing something else? ..." She hoped not, but couldn't be positive that he wasn't doing such. Slightly whining, she paced around the buildings while looking at the few left human bodies. Strangely, they had no guns. Her steps were becoming mechanical, and her mind was shutting off. Lost in her thoughts, she kept wandering. Concentrating with a Nasty Plot, her power and energy increased slowly. It was the only way to keep her mind intact, even if she didn't like it. That's when the idea hit her. Rushing towards Khufu and Rumble, she slowed just in time to not clash into the small group. Walking beside Khufu, a cute grin folded on as her expressions changed. "Mind if I come in?" Her voice was small, irresistible. He couldn't say no, and the General knew about her rank and dark powers. Her smile remained as she peered over at Rumble," I would like to help you two with the assault." |
Hector Arcturus
Jubilife City Outside PR Base Hector had gathered everyone together. It was a fairly large group of Pokemon, mostly Ground and Rock, and a few Fire types as well. Many were also very large Pokemon, which means the group would not only be large in stature but also very noticable. Perfect. That meant that they wouldn't expect that the army wouldn't be a diversion. Even more so they wouldn't think so because Hector was leading it. Who ever heard of the Commander leading the diversion attack? Hector looked over all of the troops. He walked next to them, and spoke. "Soldiers. Our mission is to attack Oreburgh City. We are the diversion army. Our part of the plan is to attack the electric fence that surrounds the city, primarily with the apparent intent to deactivate it by the generator and break into the city. But that is not our true intent. Our mission is to act as a diversion while the main army travels through the underground of Oreburgh and takes out the HR base from the inside out. When General Khufu gives the signal, the signal that they have broken in, we will retreat, and our main army will attack the city. At that point, we may decide to regroup with the main army and help secure our victory." Hector stopped pacing and faced the army. "But let's make one thing clear. We are not here to act brave, to show off, or to charge recklessly. We will move as a group, fight back to back, avoid open areas, and be cautious, always. We are here as a diversion, nothing more. We don't have to die today, and if you follow my orders and stay safe, we can make sure that happens. Good luck everyone." Hector turned towards the direction of where Oreburgh City is. And roared. "Move out!" |
Rumble
Jubilife City PR Building The Psychic Pokemon was walking with the general to the PR, and he was ready to ask him if he had made any battle plan for when they exit the sewers, but he heard the exact noise he didn't want to hear: Lydia's fast pacing style as she was approaching them from behind. His superb memory let him recall every time he heard that pacing. He turned and faced her. She was smiling. "Mind if I come in?" Rumble detected the fake cuteness of her voice because he knew her motives. " I would like to help you two with the assault." As the general nodded, Lydia made the mistake of peering into Rumble's eyes. He let his overexitement and fury for what just happened mix together, charging his body with his Psychic power. Without putting much thought, he sent a strong Psychic pulse towards her. You BETTER NOT try anything funny.. It was the same metallic voice he used before, but with a strong intimidating tone in it. Rumble's eyes flashed with power as he turned away, going into PR. The building was in a fuss. Pokemon were running to their positions. "Let me handle the gathering of our troops." Rumble said to general and he left for the Conference Room, still feeling charged with power. He entered the room and saw Hector gathering the frontal diversion "attack" troops. The Psychic Pokemon walked towards the Commander. "Let me go out first, we'll get to the city from the woods. When we see you approaching from the road we'll enter the sewers." Rumble walked away from the Commander and the bunch of Pokemon standing in front of him. He raised the volume of his voice with telepathy. "Everyone who's willing to go in the sewers, come here" yelled Rumble with his strong metallic voice. The effect of his words -as well as his voice alone- was instant; some Pokemon cringed and some stepped back. After a few seconds all the Pokemon came in front of him. His face was a serious-looking expression and he spoke again with his terrible voice. "Our objective is to enter the sewers, and attack the humans straight into their pathetic town's heart. I will lead the way there, as I know that place better than my own paw" Rumble raised his left fist. No one laughed. Rumble smiled. "Oh yeah and the general will be with us as well." His tone was somewhat challenging, as he was looking at him. He turned to the crowd of Pokemon, with his smile still on his face. "I want your full co-operation, I want SILENCE in the sewers, everyone FOLLOW each other. If you get lost, STAY where you are." Rumble kept talking, putting emphasis on the important words as he was giving advice. His voice was piercing the minds of the Pokemon in front of him. "... This day is to be remembered. Follow me now." Rumble winked at Lydia and turned around, walking out of the room, while everyone who was in the Sewer Assault mission followed him. (OCC: Rumble seems to forget general's in charge on purpose) |
Khufu looked down at Lydia, shrugged, and admitted, "I don't see why not. Just don't get in the way. The fate of the battle could depend on these plans." He quickly glanced at Rumble and opened the door to his private chamber. Khufu snapped on the light and looked down at his disorganised workspace. Quickly rifling through his papers, he found what he was looking for and brushed away the others.
On the paper was a map of Oreburgh City, with a map of the sewers drawn lightly and sketchily on top of it. "As you can see, the main sewer connexion to Jubilife City is here," he said, pointing at an area on what would be the west side of the city. "This is where we'll come through. The trick is to find a way up to the surface without being too obvious. That's what I'm stuck on." He shook his mane out of his face and looked from Rumble to Lydia, and then at the map. "Maybe right here?" he suggested, pointing at an area in the centre of Oreburgh. "There seems to be enough room to get the whole army out. Ah, come on Rumble, you would know this better than me." Khufu looked at the Reuniclus with pleading eyes that spoke for themselves. While his eyes did seem a little uneasy on the outside, internally Khufu sensed something was wrong with Rumble. I don't know what's wrong, he thought, but to me he's a machine I don't trust, especially around Lydia. Something tells me he'll fight her and win. |
Lydia
Jubilife City PR Base With a sudden glow of the Reuniclus' eyes, his telepathic voice knocked her with surprise as it boomed into her head. "You BETTER not try anything funny.." Somehow this time, it wasn't painful, but the tone was harsher. He was obviously frustrated by her. Lydia wasn't positive if it was a good or a bad thing. For now the Zorua watched. If anyone was going to do something 'funny', it was going to be him. She watched as he spoke with the General. After leaving for the conference room, she also came rushing in, eager to see how he would lead the troops. The Zorua would be hiding with them. "Everyone who is willing to go into the sewers, come here," he yelled out, many of the pokemon surprised by his strong voice. Several of them appeared hesitant. Lydia followed with the few pokemon who were also regrouping. His voice would shake her no longer. "Our objective is to enter the sewers, and attack the humans straight into their pathetic town's heart. I will lead the way there, as I know the place better than my own paw," he said, raising his left fist. She cracked a smile, even with the lame joke. It was obvious no one else was amused, as they were still adjusting to the intensity of the Reuniclus' voice. Rumbe continued to keep his smile. "The general will be with us as well. I want your full co-operation, I want SILENCE in the sewers, everyone FOLLOW each other. If you get lost, STAY where you are," he kept speaking aloud. Lydia knew he was a born leader. "... This day is to be remembered. Follow me now." She thought she saw a wink as he left the room. The PR members began to follow, and with haste she rushed to the front of the crowd. "Good job", she said through telepathy. |
Alec PokeRebel Base, Jubilife City Suspicious behavior... ----- "Hey, Alec... I think there's a meeting going on." Ivy pointed towards the base. I looked up and listened for a moment, there was definately a meeting going on. "Great, we're already late for a meeting? This is not getting off to a great start." I started to walk towards the base, Ivy following close behind. When we entered, we stepped right into a meeting that looked... well, started. I couldn't tell how close to ending it was, but with my luck it was just about to end. I realized that when I had entered, I nearly bumbed into a Vanillite, whom also looked like it was late. Because if we keep having Pyrrhic Victories like that, we can kiss victory in this whole war goodbye. Which is why I have determined that we leave their exit to Mount Coronet open. Think about it, if we get rid of their only exit out of the city, they won't have anywhere to retreat. Allow your opponents an escape route. Forces are more likely to retreat if a plausible route is open. If they're completely cut off, determined resistance can be expected. They will understand that they will die here, and they will fight to the last man, and we, in the process, could lose hundreds. Hundreds that don't need to die. That... is why we leave them their escape route, and we keep this strategy up for ALL of our battles. In this way, we can save many lives, lives that don't need to be lost. If you all take a moment to understand my words, you will realize this is the best way. We keep them on the run, until we have taken all of their bases. Humans may be the enemy, but they are much like us. They don't want to die. They want to live, and if we keep winning, until they have lost enough bases, and lost enough battles, they will eventually give in, and we will get victory." Yeah, the meeting was about over when I had entered. Figures. Although I had heard what seemed to be an important part. At least I was lucky enough to get that, it was better than nothing. It was also good that no one had noticed me and Ivy enter, because if they did... well, who knows? We likely would have gotten in some sort of trouble. "We got off lucky this time." Ivy whispered into my ear. "Yeah, really." I replied glumly. I watched as the Reuniclus left, and was soon followed by the shiny Umbreon. A moment after that I thought I heard the door, so I immediately looked in that direction. Nothing. Perhaps it was just the wind? I looked around and noticed the Vanillite that had been right next to me had disappeared. Very soon." I sprinted out of the building, dodging my way through the crowd with ease. When I exited the building, I ran to the side of it and began to climb. It was lucky I was really good at climbing, and that was also when I noticed that Ivy was right behind me. When I reached the top of the building, I scanned the streets. I saw the Reuniclus, the Flareon, and the Zorua. That must have been what I heard earlier. I thought as I stared at the Zorua. I watched as the three Pokemon walked away, until they were out of sight. "Y'know, I usually like Reuniclus... not that one though." I said, my gaze not even faltering for a second. "Same here." Ivy replied. "Everyone who's willing to go in the sewers, come here" Came a metallic voice that I assumed was the Reuniclus. Apparently Ivy heard it too, so we both leaped from the building and sprinted towards where the Reuniclus had headed. It was only a few seconds before we spotted him. "Our objective is to enter the sewers, and attack the humans straight into their pathetic town's heart. I will lead the way there, as I know that place better than my own paw" The Reuniclus raised his left fist. I silently questioned whether he could call that thing a paw. On a regular Reuniclus, it would be a fist, on this one... more like a claw. "Oh yeah and the general will be with us as well." The Reuniclus's tone was somewhat challenging, as he looked at the Flareon. He turned to the crowd of Pokemon, with his smile still on his face. "I want your full co-operation, I want SILENCE in the sewers, everyone FOLLOW each other. If you get lost, STAY where you are." The Reuniclus kept talking, putting emphasis on what was apparently important words. "... This day is to be remembered, follow me now." "Not like we have much choice..." I mumbled. Ivy jabbed me with her elbow to tell me to be quiet. "What? He is a very suspicious Reuniclus." |
Rumble
Jubilife City Streets, Forest The dawn was slowly breaking and the huge bunch of Pokemon exited the building and under Rumble's command they head into the eastern part of the city, where the forest leading to Oreburgh was. They followed the road to Oreburgh City, as Rumble was in a state of meditation, analyzing the situation and repeating his plan over and over again. He had closed his cold eyes and let the General do the navigating. We'll enter the sewers after we see the Commander coming. I'm going to lead them into my base, and show them the way out. That's where I'm leaving the general in charge, to fight.I'll unistall the transmittor with the bombs and head to the armory... with all the fuss I won't even get noticed. Rumble looked around, the trees and all. He didn't really like nature, he wasn't made to like these things. He thought the last time he traveled through this forest was under a van. What a weird way to travel. Rumble turned around and saw Lydia approaching him. He smirked. |
Lydia
Jubilife City Forests The little Zorua ran from the crowd, surpassing the others as they stared, surprised she had the guts to talk to Rumble upfront. Lydia's smile met his own smirk, and her eyes shined through the sun beams which hit the forest trees above her. Rumble was going to do something. She had to figure out what. If no one else trusted him, she wouldn't either. She never did. "I saw some guns gone from the Jubilife Streets. I'm guessing you had something to do with them? Why do you carry around all of that mechanic stuff anyways? Got something to hide?" Her questions could go on forever, and she was sure the Reuniclus would be irritated eventually. Lydia walked through the grass with her grin kept on her face, but deep inside she could sense a pinch of discomfort coming from Rumble. Maybe he wasn't use to the forest...? "Stop acting like you've never been outside before. You species lives outside anyways, as do most pokemon...unless your different." |
Rumble
Forest "I saw some guns gone from the Jubilife Streets. I'm guessing you had something to do with them? Why do you carry around all of that mechanic stuff anyways? Got something to hide?" Lydia spoke to him with telepathy. Everyone behind them were staring. Rumble ignored them and kept a passive face as he was staring at the Zorua next to him. His smirk had gone for some reason. "You see me carrying any other weapons than those?" The metallic tone of his voice was gone. "Stop acting like you've never been outside before. You species lives outside anyways, as do most pokemon...unless your different." "You're talking like you know my past. I haven't seen a forest, I haven't tasted the air for 12 years. I wasn't made to enjoy these things. I was made to hurt you and put you in a cage." Rumble sounded angry. He hadn't spoken to anyone about his past and he didn't know he did now... The lust of revenge came back into him. He couldn't wait make his plan come true. |
Lydia
Forest "You see me carrying anymore weapons than those?" Rumble replied back. His tone was slowly changing, and his smirk from earlier was gone. Her grin wasn't. When she was about to say something back in reply, her next answer was replied. His voice sounded angry, but the words were what drew her in. "You're acting like you know my past. I haven't seen a forest, I haven't tasted the air for 12 years. I wasn't made to enjoy these things. I was made to hurt you and put you in a cage." Her smile had disappeared by now, small bits of remorse collecting inside herself as she tried to comprehend what he was talking about. The main thing that stood out to her was the word 'made'. Rumble couldn't possibly have been 'made' by anyone, unless he had something to do with the humans, which also went back to his last sentence. "I wasn't made to enjoy these things. I was made to hurt you and put you in a cage." As it echoed in her mind, Lydia looked away from Rumble as if she had just been scolded severely, her steps never stopping. The Zorua wanted to know more, but knew it wouldn't be a clever idea to ask about it; as if he'd tell her. She wanted to apologize, but the words resisted coming out. Struggling for a reply, she blathered out whatever she could so that the situation wasn't awkward. "I'm glad your helping us, then. Ummm...sorry for asking about that. I guess I don't have the right to judge you..." her voice almost sounded hollow, each sentence starting somewhat loud and getting quieter as it went on. She waited for the pokemon to say something, if he would. |
Hector Arcturus
Outskirts of Jubilife City, on the road to Oreburgh There were many differences between a Pokemon and a human. When a human walked, it could be heard. Their scent was easily picked up as well, especially by canine Pokemon. They spoke louder, and altogether, made so much more noise. A Pokemon had no need for shoes, and were much lighter on their feet usually. At least, most Pokemon were. But the diversion army was different. It was filled primarily with larger Pokemon, and the Hector specifically requested that all Pokemon wear thick, heavy armor, if they had any, and march in standard formation, as they marched toward the city. This was for two reasons. One: He wanted to have his soldiers well protected. They weren't the invading force, and if he could protect them, he will. Two: He wanted them to make as much noise as possible. With all their armor, and their large statures, this army would be heard a mile away. Hector was certain of it. And while the humans would engage this army, General Khufu and Rumble would lead the others underground. Hector only hoped no one would do anything stupid to mess it all up, or anything reckless either for that matter. Everyone wanted to be a hero, but no one is ever willing to pay the cost, not until it's too late. Hector marched loudly with the rest of them, as they made their way to Oreburgh on the main road. |
Rumble
Forest Clearing "I'm glad your helping us, then. Ummm...sorry for asking about that. I guess I don't have the right to judge you..." Rumble almost forgot about his plan when the Zorua spoke to him. He couldn't tell if she was deceiving him or not, and that made him even more mad. Some moments later he replied. "No, you don't have the right to judge me. You weren't forced to torture your own kind.. but all this is going to end. I'm gonna fight force with force. And when I'm done, my sorrow will be reflected in their own eyes, their fear will calm my fury." The Reuniclus wasn't sure why he trusted the Zorua with these words. His eyes were glowing once more as he looked forward. He realised they had reached the spot just outside the sewers. From that spot they could see the main road and where Hector would arrive. He prepared his metallic voice again. "Alright.. We're here. Now we're gonna wait for Hector to show up." Rumble didn't look at Lydia at all afterwards. |
Hector Arcturus
Road to Oreburgh City Hector traveled along Route 203 with the rest of his army of armor-clad behemoths. To them, he was a smaller Pokemon. But, of course, Hector was also very quick on his feet. As the army traveled, Hector wondered on what he'd expect. Heavy resistance, to be sure, but Hector had a feeling not quite as much as Jubilife. Jubilife was a much larger city, and had a much more strategic location. Of course there will still be quite a large fight, but with the planning they've done, Hector expected it to be a victory here. At least, that was the way it looked. Hector knew he couldn't assume anything until the task was done. He only hoped Rumble, Khufu and the rest of the army that would go through the sewers would pull through and do what was necessary. Although he only recently met him, he had a good feeling about Rumble. He wasn't popular among the troops, but he was intelligent, and knew Hector knew he would do what was necessary to win. Also, he wasn't someone who took outrageous risks. Hector expected good things from him as time would pass. As the diversion army marched, Hector could see in the distance Oreburgh Gate, the cavern that leads to Oreburgh City. They weren't far now, and he was certain at this point, Khufu and the rest would be able to make their way to the sewers from then on. It was up to them, and he knew they wouldn't let him down. Hector had to be vigilant. As they approached closer and closer to the path, Hector watched his surroundings more and more. It was almost time to begin the attack. Their target was the electric fence, and it's generator, which Hector knew he would see soon as well. War was coming, very soon. |
Lydia
Forest Clearing Something had shifted in the pokemon's expressions when she spoke. He didn't trust her, which was fair enough as she felt the same way in comparability to him. For a moment they were just walking, Rumble levitating, but he soon spoke again. "No, you don't have the right to judge me. You weren't forced to torture your own kind...but all this is going to end. I'm going to fight with force. And when I'm done, my sorrow will be reflected in their own eyes. Their fear will calm my fury." His words reminded Lydia of Wade's own revenge when it came to his trainer. Pain was always the conclusion, and it was something she couldn't allow to happen. Maybe she was selfish, maybe she was making the wrong decision by helping the humans, but the Zorua knew by heart that recovering your feelings through revenge wasn't right. Was she the only sane pokemon here? Or was she the weird one? ...the Reuniclus had looked away from her now, but he wasn't going to leave her own sight. Finally at their destination, Lydia's walk slowed into tiny steps, soon none. She examined the sewers as Rumble talked. "Alright, we're here. Now we've gotta wait for Hector to show up. " Lydia gave a slight nod, though her eyes where ghostly, not a smile nor a frown found on her face. It was blank, and her eyes were draining from color. Taking a moment to focus, she tried snapping back into energy with a Nasty Plot. Zorua's weren't the strongest of creatures, and although she had always trained herself to be a more formidable opponent, the weakness of being pre-evolved would always linger. This weakness also made her tired. Lydia waited patiently for the Arcanine, hoping he would show up soon. |
Silence Quickslash
Jubilife City Conference Room "I propose we leave as soon as possible," Rumble said, his eyes glowing with what could only be greed. "I need to go now," he announced before levitating out of the room with most of the pokemon staring at him. "I'm going to the restroom," Wade said shortly after and he too left the room. Soon after the two had left, Silence heard the door close and noticed that Lydia was also gone. 'Something's going on among those three...' she thought. Very soon," Hector announced and left the room. Most of the pokemon remained in the room, including Silence. She was leaning against the wall in a corner of the room with her ears perked for any useful information. The commander came back and gathered the pokemon for the diversion attack on the electric fence. Rumble came in and said something to the commander that Silence couldn't catch than levitated away from him. "Everyone who's willing to go in the sewers, come here," yelleddd Rumble a strong, metallic voice. It didn't take long for all the pokemon to gather before him. Well, all the pokemon except for Silence who remained where she was. "Our objective is to enter the sewers, and attack the humans straight into their pathetic town's heart. I will lead the way there, as I know that place better than my own paw." Rumble raised his left fist and smiled. "Oh yeah and the general will be with us as well." His tone was somewhat challenging as he looked at Khufu. The Reuniclus turned back to the gathered pokemon, the smile still plastered on his face. "I want your full co-operation, I went SILENCE in the sewers, everyone FOLLOW each other. If you get lost, STAY where you are," Rumble said, putting emphasis on the important words. "... This day is to be remembered. Follow me now." As the rest of the pokemon followed Rumble out of the room, Silence waited until Khufu left to follow. Rumble wasn't the leader here and she wasn't about to act like he was. Besides, pretty much everyone was used to her being a bit stubborn about following commands. She would follow orders if they seemed reasonable, but Rumble was taking it to far. The way he challenged both the commander and general with his words... Silence didn't like it one bit. The sun was rising as the army marched toward Oreburgh City and Silence stopped for a moment to take the beautiful sight in before walking on again behind Khufu. Finally, after quite awhile of walking, they made it to their destination. "Alright.. We're here. Now we're gonna wait for Hector to show up," Rumble said. Silence had noticed that he seemed a bit... subdued during the march and wondered what was up. He hadn't said a word but he, as well as many other pokemon, could use telepathy so maybe a mind-to-mind conversation he had been having was upsetting him. She heard a loud rumbling and saw Hector's army going toward the path, their large bodies and heavy armor the cause of the noise. Excitement and what might be discerned as bloodlust seeped into her eyes as she thought of the battle to come. Than she reminded herself that she needed to keep an eye on Rumble in case he tried anything funny. With a small sigh she looked around for him, only to spot Lydia first. She had a blank expression, but seemed to focus herself in the few moments Silence had been looking at her. The Weavile wondered what could have happened to the small dark-type, than remembered how Rumble had looked before they had arrived at the sewer entrance. It could just be coincidence that both of them were upset, but Silence wasn't sure. Right now though, that didn't matter. What mattered was that they took Oreburgh City. (OOC: I can't figure out why the font changed in the middle of the post. I tried fixing it but couldn't so gave up.) |
Rumble
Forest Clearing Rumble noticed the dark Pokemon he saw before: the Weavile. He frowned, still with fury burning inside him, he turned to her and asked with his most unfriendly tone. "What're ya lookin' at" Without expecting a response, he went close to the Zorua. His tone changed dramatically. "Stay out of trouble" advised her, with the frown still on his face but his eyes deceived him; he showed a little bit of genuine concern. He got closer to the ground and pat her head with his giant paw, almost as a friend. Then he immediately got up and looked out of the bush in front of him, at the main road: he could see another bunch of Pokemon coming closer. He took his eyes from that spot to somewhere right of him. "Damn, they're stupid.." he whispered to himself as he saw the entrance of the sewers, just 50 meters away of the clearing of the forest. They didn't cover it with the fence.. we can get in. He faced the crowd of the Pokemon behind him and got his metallic voice up once again. "Hector is here. We can proceed to the sewers. Follow me as usual" some Pokemon cringed when they heard his voice -again- so suddenly, but they followed him out of the bush to the sewers. As Rumble went ahead, he felt confortable: a smell he knew very well. He entered the huge pipe, with his senses and his exitement overextended, he activated the flashlight on his right arm with telepathy and kept walking forward. He heard some Pokemon moaning about the smell. "Silence!" he yelled. He smiled as his loud metallic voice echoed in the walls. It was ten times more annoying, he figured. Some of the Pokemon instanly went mute as they heard the sound. The walls were pretty dirty. The waters were as well - but he didn't mind as he was levitating. The splashes of the Pokemon who were walking were getting in his nerves, he saw some Raticates hiding in the shadows. With his grin still on his face, he turned to the general, while he lighted his face with his flashlight, making him look like a sewer monster of some sort. "Lovely place don't you think?" Rumble laughed... he stopped after a while. His eyes glowing in the dark, he focused in his path. "You should leave the navigation to me, as I'm the one who can get us through here" They walked a bit, took a few turns. Then Rumble saw a very familiar opening in the wall: it was like the pipe was melted. "Turn left here" he yelled, his voice echoing making it sound even louder. As he turned left he run through the corridor where he had planted the transmitter, the same corridor leading to his place. He made it levitate next to him with his powers as he walked into his former base. Everything seemed normal. He almost forgot he had a bunch of Pokemon following him. "See these?" He pointed at some stairs with his flashlight, lighting them up. "this is our exit. Beyond this point - you'll fight. For your life. But, this shouldn't be before Hector engages. Don't worry, we'll hear him." Rumble had a serious face on. He turned around and headed for his old desk, placing the transmitter there. The Pokemon were already spreading in the room, and he, with a subtle move, threw the old remote of the transmitter and took a new one which was placed on top of a huge package. Then he looked at the dusty blueprints of the building above them, which he had in his desk. |
Lydia
Clearing/Sewers Rumble said something as he looked behind them, unaware of who was staring, she turned her head to see Silence. How long had she been staring at them...? The question escaped her mind as she noticed the Reuniclus leaning down towards her. She looked back to see him frowning, but his eyes showed another mood. Something she wasn't able to examine enough to identify. He spoke in a different voice, "Stay out of trouble," while patting the Zorua's head. She flinched with extreme irritation, but managed to shake it off as he stopped. Her 'enemy' faced the crowd of pokemon before him, announcing they would head inside and begin. Crawling in the sewers was the last thing Lydia wanted to do, but as long as she kept a good eye on Rumble, she's be satisfied. Following in front of the large group, everyone entered the pipes, some cautious due to the overwhelming stench. Her sensitive nose picked it up as well, and she almost gagged from the smells, wondering how pokemon could live in such fowl conditions. The army of pokemon walked through the filthy water with disgusted expressions. Grime and mold was found covering the walls, other unknown substances scattered around as well. As the water dripped down, Lydia felt it as one of the droplets touched her nose. Though eager to fuss, she ignored it as the water glided down her snout and off her chin. It was horrible to know the humans had destroyed such a great portion of the forest in place of their cities and sewers such as this. As the complaining began from other pokemon in the crowds, Rumble shouted out at them in frustration, "SILENCE!". Her drowsiness was snapped out the moment it came. Through the pipes, his voice echoed, much more powerful and louder than it already was. She clenched her teeth as her ears felt as if they were bleeding from the screech. The Zorua wished he would be at least a bit quieter, or change his voice again. He was now, once again, chatting with Khufu. Rumble appeared unaffected by the stench. Like zombies, every pokemon followed both Rumble and his flashlight in a trance. Whispering was rare, as whenever the Reuniclus turned around they would close their mouths immediately. The splashes of water echoed from the walls. Lydia's fur was now soaked, her mane occasionally getting sucked into the filthy water. Occasionally, she would use her little psychic power to pluck out the grime. Turning to Silence, she spoke telepathically. "I'm spying on Rumble. If we break apart from the crowd, can I trust you won't follow us..? I'm getting information about the pokemon myself. I need you to stay with Khufu, in case anything happens..." The Zorua tried to pull a trustworthy smile to let the member know she ment it, but the stench knocked it away. At their 'exit' as the Reuniclus said it was, the pokemon spread out slowly, and she shook the water from her fur, avoiding spraying anyone while doing it. Patting down her mane, she sneaked through the corner of her eye at Rumble in case he tried to pull anything suspicious. She walked behind him, letting him know she wasn't going to leave. |
Silence Quickslash
Outside Oreburgh City Entering Sewers "What're ya lookin' at?" Rumble asked Silence. Without waiting for a response, he turned back to the Zorua next to him. She perked her ears to hear what he said. "Stay out of trouble," he advised Lydia, giving her a pat on the head. Though he was wearing a frown, Silence detected something in his voice... Concern? 'Seems the mighty Rumble has a soft spot,' she thought. "Hector is here. We can proceed to the sewers. Follow me as usual," the Reuniclus announced and made his way to the sewer entrance. Silence followed directly behind Khufu, both to show Rumble that the Flareon was really the one incharge here and so she could keep an eye on the psychic type. The sewers were dark and smelly. Being a dark-type, the darkness didn't bother her in the least and having practically lived most of her younger life in a dumpster helped her to overcome the smell. Some of the pokemon were complaining and the Weavile heard Rumble's shout of, "Silence!" echo down the pipes. 'Yes, sir?' she thought sarcasticly and snickered silently to herself, earning a few strange looks from those around her. Rumble turned and shone his flashlight in the general's face. "Lovely place, don't you think?" he laughed. "You should leave the navigation to me, as I'm the one who can get us through here." With that, they trudged on through the sewers with the psychic type leading the way. Lydia turned to her and Silence heard her voice in her mind. [I]"I'm spying on Rumble. If we break apart from the crowd, can I trust you won't follow us...? I'm getting information about the pokemon myself. I need you to stay with Khufu, in case anything happens..." The Zorua tried to pull a trustworthy smile but failed. Silence frowned and shook her head. She didn't trust the Zorua enough. Besides, if Lydia found out something there was no guarantee she would tell Silence. After awhile of walking throngh the grimy water, Rumble called, "Turn left here!" and they went through a hole in the pipe wall. Silence felt a prick of annoyance as she lost sight of him for a moment when he turned the corner. "See these?" he said while pointing his flashlight at a flight of stairs. "This is our exit. Beyond this point - you'll fight. For your lives. But, this shouldn't be before Hector engages. Don't worry, we'll hear him." If she hadn't been watching him as closely as she was, Silence probably wouldn't have noticed him throw away a transmittor he was holding only to pick up a different one. She stood with her arms crossed and watched the Reuniclus, wondering not for the first time what he was up to... |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Hospital Mark knocked on the door again, 'God, there taking forever to open the door' mark thought to himself. After waiting another five minutes, mark opened the door. "You are Jack Spark." Mark switched his visor to clear, "Sorry to interrupt, but i brought presents from my friend in sunyshore. There napalm molotov cocktails, you each get two, sometimes low tech beats high tech, know what i mean." Mark started to walk away when he remembered something, "Oh, if you need me, radio me, bye." Mark left the room and closed the door, knowing he was going to get in trouble for barging in the room. Mark walked out and to the F1, unlocking the trunk so his comrades could get there low-tech pieces of death, the next battle had to be coming soon, anyways. Mark walked up to the Armory, It's time he found out what was in it, although he knew there wouldn't be anything as good as what he had. Vargas entered the warehouse and was taken by surprise at how much was in there, shelve upon shelve, row upon row, of guns, explosives, ammo. "First time here?" a lady asked from behind him "Yea, can you point me to the 50. Caliber rounds?" The woman pointed to a corner of the building, "Over there, we got all kinds, Armor piercing, inferno, hollow point, Hand Load and more, take you pick." Mark walked over to the corner. The woman didn't lie, there was all the kinds of 50. rounds, what mark was after was next to a suspicious door. Mark opened it and peeked in, stairs going under the city, must have been one of the sewer entrances. If you listened closely you could hear voices, mark assumed it was the sewer workers and closed the door. who knew where the workers could be, those sewers can echo your voice for miles if you speak loud enough, Mark knew, he had fallen in once as a child, through a loose grate. He got back on task and grabbed all the 50. ammo types he could carry. (OOC: Go easy on me, i'm the only human in this RP who didn't drop off the face of the earth) |
Rumble
Oreburgh Sewers/Armory Suddenly Rumble heard a sound from above. He raised his ears - something he didn't do often - trying to hear more. It sounded like a door... Other Pokemon had noticed the sound as well and they were looking up. Probably wondering the same thing as Rumble did - were they found? I'll go investigate. Stay in your positions, nobody speak. Rumble sent the psychic pulse to all of the Pokemon that had gathered in the room, which consumed a large portion of his powers. But, silence was crucial. The psychic Pokemon vanished in front of their eyes as he activated his Camo, grabbed the fairly big package he had under his desk and walked upstairs. General, it's up to you now. As Rumble slowly levitated upstairs, with his senses extended once more, and the expression of seriousness - which wasn't fake. He turned off his flashlight. He walked the stairs up to the small corridor he knew so well and in the end, the the exit of the sewers. The door seemed closed. Rumble realised - now it was his chance. He walked towards the door.. opened it, the cracking sound was heard again. Light blinded him. He left the door behind him open, in case somebody was looking at him - or what appeared to be a door opening and closing by itself. The small house which he came out (and wasn't supposed to be helding the exit of the sewers) was right next to the big building of the armory. The invisible Pokemon looked around. Some armed humans were walking down the street. He swallowed his urge to burn them down to cinders, blowing up his plan. All in good time.. Rumble got passed the guards at the Armory's entrance. He walked in the hall. Having the building's blueprints in his head, he navigated through the biggest room of the building - full of guns of all sorts. He walked wall to wall and deactivated the right side of the Camo (the one facing the wall) so it wouldn't get overheated. He "met" with a few humans, and got passed them silently. He looked around at all those guns. Then he realised how much weapons of destructions (massive or not) humans liked to make. Yeah but they're gonna regret making me.. But he'd better admit he liked all those and would "borrow" them if he had the time or capablity. Instead he kept walking towards the far end of the room - he saw what he was looking for - a dark blue door! But as he got closer he realised it was locked. Damnit.. where the heck is the key? His question was answered right away - the guard of the door was talking with some other guard on his right. Although he was feeling the left side of the Camo overheating and his cells being destroyed, he activated the right side of his cloak and got closer to the humans. He was about the same height as them. Rumble made a weird move with his right hand like he was pushing something that wasn't even there - it wasn't. The table full of the guns and their bullets fell in front of the guards. He heard one swearing as he was picking some of the guns. Rumble saw the blue card-key on his belt. The Camo was burning him, but he raised his left arm in the height of the card-key and used his powers again, making it slip through the air and coming towards him. They couldn't possibly see anything as the guard with the card-key had his back turned on Rumble and the other one was in front of him. Rumble caught the keys and immediately headed for the door, he could feel the cloak melt his gel. He ran the card-key through the mechanism and the door opened with a sound Rumble didn't want to hear - a beep. The Pokemon went all out, he threw everything he was carrying in the room with his right hand, the package he got under his desk and the burning Camo, which landed slowly. It seemed like time had stopped as Rumble charged againist the guards standing 2 meters away from him, using his telepathy disable the closer guard by blinding him shorty with telepathy and he raised his right arm, aimed at the throat of the second guard and pulled the trigger of the glove as a drill launched out of it and hit the human exactly on the spot. After he fell on the ground, dead, Rumble's fist landed on the face of the blinded guard who was about to scream. The psychic type Pokemon hit the human with such force, he fell unconscious, probably dead because of the size of what hit him. 2 seconds... 2 seconds for 2 human lives, he thought as he turned his back on them, walking into the room he had dreamed about for 12 years. The first thing he did was check if the explosives in the package were okay after their flight. Then he looked around the room, investigating. It was a plain room with alot of pointless space and another door by the end of it. A metallic door. Just like the blueprints. He put the explosives under the metallic door.. then it struck him; He pulled another drill of his back and loaded the glove. He wrote 3 words on the wall, using the drill, with pretty ugly letters: I SEE YOU |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Armory :) Mark had finished collecting ammo when he heard a giant *Crash* behind him, He spun around to find a guard with a pretty high profanity vocabulary picking up weapons. What was behind him was more concerning to mark, What looked like a gas, could only be an Active Camo. Mark hid behind a shelve and pulled his radio up to his mouth. "I want this city on FULL Lockdown, we have unwanted guest, send reinforcements to the armory ASAP" Mark Turned on his own active camo and walked out. Mark saw a reuniclus, it looked like a freaking mech with all its guns and armor, kill the two guards that were picking up the guns. "Sh*t, gonna need an armor division to win this fight." Mark followed the floating armory into a room and quietly watched as he put something under the Blast doors. Mark thought to himself 'If those are explosives, they better be pretty strong, that is a blast door, its built to withstand a pretty good blast. God, what is he doing?' Vargas moved closer up. 'I'm on to you, and whatever your doing' Mark was practically standing next to the pokemon when he decided to stop. 'I SEE YOU? No you don't, what does he mean by that, or does he really see me?' Mark felt like a ninja, right next to the enemy, but this was not the time to get ****, this was obviously the start of another attack. (OOC: im running out of stuff to write about without any other humans, so sorry for the short post.) |

Oreburgh Armory/Sewers Lydia looked behind to see the Weavile shaking her head. A growl rose from her throat. She should have expected the pokemon not to trust her. A sound from above made her ears twitch with curiosity. That's when it hit her- a pulse of energy went through her brain, most likely from Rumble. It echoed in her brain. "Stay in your positions. Nobody speak". The Zorua didn't take orders from him, she wouldn't now. She narrowed her eyes as she watched him levitate away. He looked concentrated on something. Lydia had to follow him, and she didn't care if anyone noticed her leaving. With a flash of her eyes, she took the illusion of a shadow, creeping along the walls and through the corridors. The Zorua was relieved to know she would be out of the sewers soon enough, and as she followed the Reuniclus out of the area, light shot into her eyes as she exited through the door with him. Her white pupil narrowed as it adjusted to the sun's violent rays. Lingering behind the psychic pokemon, his appearance soon vanished as he took on what appeared to be an active camo. She was completely unaware of her surroundings as she focused only on her target. However, she wasn't oblivious enough to hide her view from the few human's they passed. Both her and Rumble were hiding their urges to attack, though the Zorua kept her calm easier with less irritation as the psychic. He levitated fast, looking to be in a rush. Rumble stopped at a blue door, as she did the same. The pokemon needed keys to the unknown door, knowing whatever was inside was vital to his plans. The Zorua watched as he searched for the item, suddenly pin-pointing it as he stared at some guards nearby. Grabbing a card with his psychic energy, he headed back for the door. His camo was slowly burning him, as his gel was melting from the side. However, as he inserted the card, a small 'beep' went through her ears. Immediately, she lingered backwards as the Reuniclus took action. She averted her dark eyes from the scene, herself invisible as her shadow hid with anything else it could find. A shot was heard, and when she turned around, both were dead. A shiver crept up her spine, amazed at how much anger was really stored inside this pokemon. She was stalking him... An evil grin crept up his face as he opened the door. Walking inside, he pulled out explosives he had been hiding, including other instruments. Examining the room, he was an evil mastermind at work. However, soon enough he took out his drill again. It was large, and began engraving words into the wall. Though not surprised, Lydia was horrified by what she saw. "I SEE YOU" All of a sudden, that's when a human appeared, also now entering the room. Rumble faced him as he sounded an alarm. "I want this city on FULL Lockdown, we have unwanted guest, send reinforcements to the armory ASAP". She recognized the human. He was holding out a knife, approaching Rumble. It was almost too late for him to finish his sentence as she immediately took action, even before the Reuniclus could take care of the human himself. Blurs of darkness gathered together, the shadows hiding among the room forming her shape. Cracks forming, the black unfolding to reveal the Zorua who was originally hiding. While still surrounded by the shadows, Lydia raced at him, leaving the blur of darkness behind. With a blast of dark aura, a Sucker Punch blew the human out of the entrance as she flipped back on the ground safely. It was fast, somewhat hard...though immediately he went unconscious. He had hit his head hard on the wall, a small bit of blood dripping down. The Zorua walked over to check if he was still awake. He wasn't, though she felt grief for the sudden attack, she couldn't let the humans intrude. Turning around, she saw the Reuniclus hovering over her. Her colors returned as she also turned to face him. walking back inside the room, weapons were everywhere. She was still shivering. "What are you planning...? I've followed you all this way. There has to be a reason why you came here. Tell me," her small voice had changed, struggling to be as stern as possible. Her own eyes were glowing now with a vibrant red. "Those explosives...are you actually, going to use them?" It was clear in her mind now. Rumble didn't even have to talk; he was getting revenge. Her eyes narrowed as she finally was able to comprehend the PR member's master plan. She couldn't allow it. "This isn't the right thing to do. Listen to me. You can't blow up everything...you can't!" the Zorua growled, her ears pinning back. Her emotions were taking over for some illogical reason. She really was a traitor. |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Armory Pulling out his knife, Mark raised it above the Reuniclus' head. Marks active camo suddenly made a series of 3 beeps, mark thought to himself ' No! not yet!" When the camo turned off. "Hehehe, How ya doin, stabbed, i would say so!" Mark taunted the Reuniclus. started to bring down the knife to the Reuniclus' head until he was hit with a sucker punch, It fit, as mark felt like a sucker for not watching his flank. Mark tried to pull out his pistol but lost consciousness and dropped the still weird pistol on the ground. Mark landed, helmet falling off and hitting his head off the wall, blacking out. (OOC: trying something different, don't judge me!) Mark's visor started up. 'Position unknown.............Searching for user location................Error.......User not found........Proceeding start up program.' The world suddenly came to life in front of mark, he was outside, as the sky indicated. Mark sat up, he was in the desert. "God, this is worse than getting P*ss drunk and waking up in the woods, i mean, im in a desert" Mark looked around, his stuff was slightly scattered, but it was there. Mark gathered his equipment and headed for the nearest road, which he could see from his current position. During his short walk to the road he noticed his vitals were being displayed at the top of the screen, along with a measure of his "health" Mark didn't remember installing the H.U.D update, and didn't his helmet fall off in the fight. Mark arrived to the road, and the sign on the other side. Mark walked over to it. Las Vegas - 20 miles"What's Las Vegas?" Mark asked himself. Mark started walking there anyways Passing several dead bodies. |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Armory Rumble heard pacing behind him. Human pacing, long legs. He didn't turn though, as he heard someone leaping - then he turned and saw Lydia hitting the human and knocking him unconscious out of the door. Then she started talking. "What are you planning...? I've followed you all this way. There has to be a reason why you came here. Tell me," her eyes were glowing red. "Those explosives...are you actually, going to use them?" Rumble opened wide his hands like he was welcoming her, with the usual smile on his face. "This isn't the right thing to do. Listen to me. You can't blow up everything...you can't!" "Why do you think I carried this stuff all the way from the sewers? Just to be stopped by you? Hah!" His tone was etremely intimidating as he let his fury overwhelm him, his fake laugh sounded like a growl of pain. His bloodlust, his exitement for revenge charged him with power, and his eyes started glowing intensly with their amber colour altered somehow. "I can't blow up this place? OF COURSE I CAN! But, what are you going to do to stop me?" Rumble gifted her with his smile, full of evil and looked her in the eyes. He saw doubt. She was about 3 meters away, he got closer, pulling out the remote from inside his body with elegant move of telepathy. He saw her back down a little bit and he pronounced her name with a weird alien tone. "Lydia," he paused. He got closer... she slightly backed down even more as his levitation decreased, his dark amber eyes met her red ones. He wasn't smiling anymore. The only feeling his face was giving off was: anger. So was his tone. "The probability of your continued existance is rapidly approaching zero" Rumble just said, he returned to the usual height of levitation and headed to the door he was about to blow up. He realised he didn't have any choise; he then turned slowly, raised his left hand, aiming at the small black ball of fur on the floor and pulled the trigger of his Flamethrower. |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Armory (OOC: Sorry for the frustration, guys. Thanks for not intruding, though. I appreciate it. Its just our first ever planned out RP scene...so... XD I think I got carried away...) He opened up his claws with an unusual smile. It was creepy, and his replies weren't pleasant. The Zorua was regretting this entire thing. The moment she met him, the secret information she had gathered. And now, following him to the armory. If only she hadn't been so clueless. "Why do you think I carried this stuff all the way to the sewers? Just to be stopped by you? Hah!" His voice was overcome with fury and pain. She had never dreamed of something so malice. His laugh was distorted, piercing her ears as more of a growl. His intense glowing countered hers as they exchanged looks. There was no stopping him, "I can't blow up this place? OF COURSE I CAN! But, what are you going to do to stop me?" His smile was deceiving, frightening all the same. She doubted her own power in comparative to his. Her heart whimpered, but her mind was telling her to stay strong. The Reuniclus was getting closer, and she stepped back with small steps. He pulled out a remote hidden inside his gel as his levitation sunk closer to the ground. His smile was gone. "Lydia," he paused while getting closer. Her eyes narrowed, her continuing to go backwards. That's when he said it, and it was pretty obvious what he was saying. "The probability of your continued existence is rapidly approaching zero." Returning to his normal height, her eyes followed his as he headed for the door. She ran after him. However, as he shifted his direction, Rumble pulled his trigger with his left hand. It was the flamethrower from inside his body, which opened up as he attacked. Lydia's ruby eyes reflected the flames as she put up a Protect last minute, the fire shooting around her sphere-like shield. The fire kept going, the floor below her turning black from the scorching fire. In an attempt to get away, she cut her power and jumped back, a small cry of pain coming from her as her paws were burned from the frontward flames. Hitting the ground, her eyes flashed with anger. "I need to do something. My fear is drawing me back. Only one thing left for me to get a good hit." In the course of a second she had powered up with a Nasty Plot. It was taking effect, her conscience soon gone as an evil grin slid across her face in replace for her fright. "You forgot, Rumble. I'm a dark type. I'm not going to be ruled by fear," she snickered, "If you want to kill me so badly, you'll have to try harder than that." With a quick Sucker Punch, she smacked him away from the door, also using her dark aura for a Night Daze. The combination of power along with the type advantage created a small explosion in the room, her opponent stuck between. A black puff of smoke clouded her eyesight as she stood in place. She peered inside the smoke, her devilish smile still on. However, the smoke clearing, the Zorua's cocky attitude vanished as her conscience snapped back, along with her once strong power. Lydia looked hopeless as she saw Rumble. He was still levitating...if he was hurt or not, the answer was unknown, but the conclusion of the battle was certain. If she kept this up, she would LOSE. Her mind patterns were going crazy at the thought of it. She knew what he had done to the humans. He couldn't possibly do something like that to her, or could he? At times like this, nothing was clear. He had attacked in the first place. Making a last effort to stop him, she ran to the door. She couldn't rely on power ups to defeat him. She had to do something else. Though her last resort was pathetic, it was all she had. The telepathy began as she made her voice sound normal. No different tones, no anything. "Your turning into something you aren't. Are you this..?", she said, sending images of him through Extrasensory, "I don't care who you are, but you joined the PR for a reason. Was it really just for this purpose? I thought you were smarter than that..." Her small black claws unsheathed in case of another attack from Rumble. However, Lydia stopped as her ears perked up. There were cracks on the ceiling. Her Night Daze had cracked the roof above them. She lost focus of her opponent as her eyes narrowed, gazing above her. |
Mark Vargas
M.I.A Mark arrived at 'VegaS' late at night, Suddenly there was a bright light. The city crumbled in front of mark. Mark Pulled out his SMG and ran in the city. Bullets were flying back and forth. "Freeze! What side are you on!" a man shouted at mark. "We should be fighting the pokemon, not each other!" Mark yelled back at him. The man broke into laughter. "Pokemon arn't real, now get over here! We have a fight to win!" Pokemon not real, what was he talking about. Mark ran over to the side of the battlefield when it all came back to him, He was out cold in Oreburgh. Mark ran over to what seemed to be the C.O. "Sir, Sniper reporting for duty!" Mark was pullet away from that dream and into another. Mark Woke up on a cot. "Good Morning Vietnam!" Came booming over the loudspeaker. "Remember to check your socks for Mold, bad living conditions can lead to death" The loudspeaker went on and on until "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival came on. UH-1s were landing and taking off everywhere. "Hey, mark, what are you waiting for, get in the Heuy." That sounded like Althalos, mark turned around, It looked like him too. "What was your name again, sorry." "John, now get in the heli." Mark did as he was told and got in. "Hehehe, hear we got a cleanup job in Laos today" "Hell yea, were going to kick some Charlie A$$, to bad it's only a little bit in from the border" The soldiers continued there conversation while mark got comfortable next to the MG. This was one confusing deam, Las Vegas, Vietnam, Laos, Mark had never heard of any of these places. He couldn't wait till he woke up, little payback on that flying armory there, blowing up OUR WMDs, show him. The helicopter sailed up into the sky and a soldier turned on a boom box, which played "The Letter" by The Box Tops |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Armory The psychic type Pokemon heard the Zorua coming from behind, he turned and pulled the trigger of his flamethrower. The fire hit the shield of her protect. It was to be expected... The fire went through the shield the moment she cut it and jumped back, burning her feet. The floor around her was black, he stopped the flamethrower. Rumble laughed maniacally seeing the anger on her face. She was thinking of her chances, he figured. "You forgot, Rumble. I'm a dark type. I'm not going to be ruled by fear," she said "If you want to kill me so badly, you'll have to try harder than that." She saw her charging forward; something he wouldn't have expected. She hit him with such force he knocked him out of the door and creating an explosion of dark energy. However the hit was almost absorbed by his gel, leaving him unharmed, still levitating. Then he taunted her as the smoke cleared. "Maybe you're the one who has to try harder" said Rumble, in a cheerful way. She was looking at the roof. He looked up for an instant and saw the roof breaking apart. He didn't care right now. Maybe he could use it to his advantage. "Your turning into something you aren't. Are you this..? I don't care who you are, but you joined the PR for a reason. Was it really just for this purpose? I thought you were smarter than that..." He saw her going near the door. Rumble consumed a large portion of his powers for another pulse with his terrible voice. He saw her cringe as the pulse hit her. "I've been planning this 12 years.. You think I'll be turning back? Huh? You don't even know what's behind this door.. And you can't even hit me!" Rumble laughed maniacally once again, raised his remote and pushed the red button on its top. Behind him, the strong explosives did their job and cracked the door and the roof of the room. The explosion was big and it almost pushed Rumble -the sound didn't affect him however- forward. A metallic noise was heard from the roof. It was going to collapse and ruin all of his dreams. He raised both his arms, used and maintained telepathy to hold the roof stable. Rumble trembled of the force of telepathy he was using, as well as under the weight of the roof. "I thought.. you were going somewhere?" he asked, looking at the door. |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Armor "Maybe your the one who has to try harder," he said, almost cheerful. To him this may have well been a game. His voice screeched in metallic, her slightly cringing as the pulse hit her head. "I've been planning this for 12 years...You think I'll be turning back? Huh? You don't even know whats behind this door...And you can't even hit me!" He raised his remote while laughing. Lydia ran for it, but stopped knowing it was too late. As he pushed it, the large explosion had cracked the door, including the roof even more. She braced herself for it to come down, only to find Rumble raising his arms to hold it up. Was he helping her...? He was trembling, using his psychic power to also support it. The Reuniclus looked at her, then at the door. "I thought...you were going somewhere?" She shook her head. She couldn't just leave him, even if he attacked in the first place. The Zorua walked over to him, eyes full of concern. "I'm not leaving without you. My psychic power isn't too great, but its enough to get you out. You go." Testing her extrasensory, she was surprised to see that she could also assist in holding up the roof. Her eyes flashed and her power joined with his to keep the ceiling from falling. She wasn't upset anymore. They were both in danger, and she'd rather risk her life for someone else than leave knowing she left a fellow member behind. The Zorua looked brave, but mainly just worried for the pokemon who she was fighting earlier. |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Armory The psychic Pokemon was consuming all of its power to hold the roof. Zorua came closer, Rumble was shocked to see concern in her eyes. But then again not, it was just Lydia. "I'm not leaving without you. My psychic power isn't too great, but its enough to get you out. You go." He let out a trembling laugh and a broken smile formed in his face. His eyes weren't glowing with power now as he was concentrated on holding the roof. "I am.. Death-proof" he only managed to say with his smile as he pointed at her with his left arm and blasted her with telepathy. She went flying out of the room, but that move destroyed his train of thought, and the roof collapsed. Rumble immediately used Trick Room, turning everything in the room upside down and consuming the last of his remaining powers. He was alot faster than the steel falling from the roof and he rushed into the secret chamber of the Nanotech from the door he just blew. There it was - it was like a trophy - but a lot smaller. It was just a mini chip. All the defense systems were supposedly deactivated with the explosion, the building was literally falling apart. He grabbed the chip, put it close to his armor, and left like a boss, activating his Camo once more. Rumble's emotions were all mixed up. He didn't know what he was feeling or if he felt happy for finally aqcuiring the Nanotech. Many questions were brought up to his mind, Is Lydia alright? Who cares? Friends don't mess with their friend's plans. He just walked with his Camo, climbing the mess of steel he had caused to the part of the roof which wasn't destroyed. He thought, Mission Accomplished, succesful plan. Now we'll be leaving for Snowpoint City, after we get outta this mess.. |
Silence Quickslash
Oreburgh Sewers After Rumble left, many of the pokemon relaxed. But now, they were starting to worry again. It had been awhile and he still had not returned. Silence had noticed Lydia had disappeared immediately after Rumble which irritated her a bit. She wanted to follow but, unlike Lydia and Rumble, she had no way of hiding herself. An explosion above rocked the sewers and some dust and small rocks fell from the roof. 'Ah sh**. What in Arceus' name is going on up there?' That explosion was sure to draw unwanted attention. 'Hector, now would be a good time to attack,' Silence thought. If the diversion army attacked now, it might distract the humans from the explosion. If the humans found the pokemon army in the sewers than that Reuniclus and Zorua were so did - literally. She didn't care if Hector punished her. They were breaking cover to early and could be ruining the entire plan. Besides, Silence never did like Rumble so she had no problem with killing him. With Lydia though... maybe she'd just knock her out. She could tell Hector about having seen the Zorua getting cozy with human during the Jubilife attack and he could take care of her how he saw fit. Satisfied with her thoughts, Silence glanced around at the nervous pokemon around her as a loud crash was heard above. 'Something better happen soon or these guys are gonna go crazy.' |
Mark Vargas
353rd S.O.G unit En route to Laos (OOC: Vevo is going to come for me.) "Give me a ticket for an aeroplane Ain't got time to take a fast train Lonely days are gone, I'm a goin' home My baby has just wrote me a letter My baby has just wrote me a letter" Mark was getting annoyed by the music "Hey, could you turn that off now please?" mark asked "The songs over anyways, stop complaining mark." The next song on the radio was Hush by deep purple. "So, What do you think our objective will be when we land?" "Who knows, wait, whats that down there. RPG!" Mark turned around and grabbed the squad sniper's rifle. One shot and the RPG holder wnet down, firing off the grenade. "Incoming! evade, evade!" The rocket hit the tail of the helicopter, causing it to spin out of control. The explosion killed the man next to mark, his remains splattering all over him. "Sh*t, we're going down! Brace for impact!" Mark grabbed onto the M-60 mount and held on for dear life as the world spun around him and his squad. The chopper crashed into the jungle bellow, killing most of his squad, everyone but him, john, and the sarge. The three soldiers climbed out of the wreckage and took defensive positions. "Everyone O.K? John, Mark, Eddie, uhhhmmm, were the only ones left. Alright the, Mark, get rid of that pathetic excuse for a weapon, it wont help here, grab that M-60!" "Sir!" Mark picked up and set up the M-60 on a mound of dirt when Charlie started to swarm the crash site. The 3 soldiers opened fire on the hostile forces. It had been an hour of nonstop siege, the sarge was dead, blown to bits, there were just too many. Mark suddenly remembered, The radio. Mark went in the rubble and pulled out a radio. he handed the radio to john, who knew what he was talking about. "Bring the fire on my position, Code 21 62 33 92 1. Mark Ru..." John caught 3 bullets to the chest and fell to the ground."F**K!" Mark cursed as he picked up his injured friend and ran. Mark fell when he caught a bullet in the leg, but got back up and limped with john, supporting each others weight. Jets flew overhead dropping bombs full of napalm on the viet cong army. They all burned, "Ahh, i love the smell of fresh napalm in the morning" Mark commented as a Chinook landed to take the two injured solders away. Mark Vargas Oreburgh Armory back room Mark woke from his dream to the room caving in. Mark just laid there and watched the roof almost fall on him. "I'm not leaving without you. My psychic power isn't too great, but its enough to get you out. You go." the zoura said to the floating tank who was busy holding up the roof "I am.. Death-proof" The pokemon said before throwing the zoura out of the room. The roof then collapsed, but mark grabbed his stuff and scrambled out of the room fast enough to, not get crushed,'heh, i'm alive, and not in 'nam' mark thought to himself as he sat against a wall. (Hope I wasn't suppost to not wake up then, but oh well.) |
(sweatdreams, am I aloud to post yet? 'cause I am anyways. Let me know if I should delete this one)
Althalos Fizen Oreburgh city Hospital and armory A loud explosion rocked the city as the armory collapsed in on itself and the weapons inside blew up. Althalos could feel rather than hear, the explosion. Small particles of ceiling floated down and Althalos immediately got up, grabbed his things and ran out of the hospital room. As he ran towards the armory, Althalos put in his incendiary rounds and turned on the flamethrower. He stopped when he came to the building; it was collapsing and he knew Mark was in it. He ran in, but slowed down when what looked like a tank turret fell in front of him. He made the rest of his way slowly towards the back area. He saw a black shape in the smoke and ran over to it, hoping to find Mark. As he ran over to the lump, he saw a familiar shape that wasn't human. He couched down next to it, to find Lydia. he couldn't tell if he was awake or not, but he checked her pulse, made sure she was alive, and then ran further in. He saw Mark leaning against the wall in a room which looked like an office and he greeted him with a "Get your a*s up, we need to get out of here!" Althalos grabbed Mark, wrapped the man's arm around his shoulder. The man was the same height as he was, so it wasn't too hard. Althalos and Mark made their way to the out side, Althalos picked up Lydia along the way. He set her down outside of the building, and then kept going. He didn't like just leaving her, but he couldn't take her into the city, especially after what she had done to him and Ali. Althalos led Mark to the hospital and set him on a bench near the building, wheezing. "Do you need medical attention, or will you make it?" |
(OOC under pressure, gonna start the attack, ready or not, humans, here we come!)
Hector Arcturus Outside Oreburgh Gate Hector approached the target point. At this point, he expected the other army to have already infiltrated the underground sewers and already moved through, planning the attack. He only hoped they didn't do anything stupid, or got caught, or else this whole plan would be for nothing. Hector took a deep breath, and moved to the front of the army. He decided to give the humans knowledge that they were coming, making all other things in the area almost invisible to them when an army was on your front doorstep. Hector took a few more steps, then let out a roar. After his roar, all the other Pokemon in his army yelled out their war cries as well, all prepared to do what they needed to do, and yet, hopefully, understand their limitations as well. The army broke from their marching lines and scurried across. The first step to this diversion is to always travel in cover, to avoid getting easily shot at. They were here as a diversion, not as a true combat force. This was a vast improvement on the previous battlefield, where the people weren't charging recklessly. The Pokemon passed through the rest of the Route, and made their way to the Oreburgh Gate, where they would make their way to the electric fence generator, in the appearance that they were going to disable it. Swiftly, the PR began their attack, with, at first little human interference. Hector was sure that would change, but as of now, the army had begun it's assault. |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Hospital, again "Do you need medical attention, or will you make it?" Althalos asked mark. "I'll be find john I uhh mean althalos, im just a little banged up. My armor absorbed most of the impa...." Mark was interrupted by a loud roar, then a series of quieter but still pretty load noises. Mark's Visor shifted to one-way as he stood up. "You ready, looks like it's time for payback." Mark grabbed althalos. "I AM NOT LOOSING OREBURGH!" Mark said in a very serious voice as he staired at althalos face, slightly shaking him. He headed for the stairs. "C'mon, let's see your stuff, unless you have other plans." Mark Headed up too the roof with althalos and set up his new Barrett M-107 rifle on the concrete railing. Pokemon started to approach the fence around the city, including an arcanine, Mark took aim and fired, Though he couldn't see if he hit it. "F**k, i missed the head, wait, Wasn't that the PR commander?" Mark asked his fellow sniper, changing his visor to clear, while he waited for a response. (OOC: Short post, sorry) |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Armory (OOC: Sorry. Haven't had much inspiration to post today. Too tired. Also zapdos, your fine, lol.) "I am.. Death-proof", Rumble said with his crooked smile, just before smacking her out of the room as it collapsed. She was knocked back onto the floor by the surprise attack, bouncing off the ground and hitting the wall with puffs of smoke going everywhere. A knock on the head blurred her vision, and she shut her eyes while laying on the ground. Lydia focused back on the armory. Her emotions were mixed, half angry yet still worried about the pokemon. Most of all, she wondered what he thought of her. Especially now. Lydia could barely make out a figure in front of her as it escaped the room. Still keeping an eye on the human, she took a moment to physically scan her small injuries. Two burned front paws, some fur that had been scrapped off from sliding across the ground, and now apparently a bump on her head. The pokemon must have looked like a mess, but was fine. She drifted off... ---------------------- Her vision sharpening again, she blinked in alarm of a roar heard in the distance. It was Hectors, and soon she could see pokemon around the fences. The assault had begun. Shaking herself awake, she first wobbled on her feet. She was out of the building for some illogical reason. Lydia wasn't hurt very much, but couldn't reach maximum power in her condition. "I need medicine, but I don't have anything with me," she whined, searching her mane for anything but only finding the flame sphere Althalos gave her. Her eyes glowing a darkened red, she shifted back into a shadow, running from the building and searching for any pokemon medicine that may have been at hand. The Zorua was done fighting. Or, at least, for now. |
Althalos Fizen
Oreburgh city random building roof, and another random building roof. Althalos followed Mark up to the roof. He wasn't sure why though. "Well, if you're gonna be fine, I'm gonna go to another roof," he said, pointing to a taller building. With that, he left. He ran to said building and took the elevator to the roof. Althalos looked at the pokemon attacking the fence. None of them looked like they would be harmed by a napalm round, so he kept the standard clip in. He looked around and saw the PR general he aimed for his right leg. "Heres something to remember me by," he whispered and puled the trigger. The large bullet left a hole in the thick leg, going right through the bone. This wound would severely inhibit the Arcanine, and just to make sure that he couldn't do anything much, he shot another at his right, rear leg. The bullet tore another large hole in his thigh. Althalos then started picking off the other pokemon. (sorry it's so short :/ ) |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh under siege Hospital 'Think Mark, think, how can you get to the PR commanders position?' Mark was pacing, all packed up and ready to go 'You have a car, you could use that, but it would get totally destroyed, and you need it to get out of the city. The Sewers! Only the workers were in the sewers, and they probably left.' Mark had decided on it, he would go through The Sewers. He didn't have long to get there though, as the PR army was getting closer."Althalos" Mark said over his radio "Keep them away from me, im gonna snatch up the commander" Mark gave a wave to the sniper on an opposing roof, and ran down the stairs of the hospital. Mark got to the bottom, and all the doctors and nurses were still there, along with there patients. "Evacuate the city, It's under attack, head for the mount!" Mark yelled at them. Mark ran out of the building towards the nearest sewer entrance. Vargas ran by a series of house, but stopped when he heard someone call his name. Mark turned around to see his mother. "Why are you here! get inside, Now!" Mark ran to his mom and pulled her inside her house. Mark entered to find his whole family. Marks father walked over to him. "When did you join the Republic, didn't your mother and I tell you not to!" Mark's dad said in a shocked voice. "When i leave, barricade the doors and windows, no one leaves until me or a soldier comes to tell you to. I'll hopefully talk to you later." Mark left the building. Marks parents did as they were told, but forgot the Back door. (If any PR members want to kill them, it would probably make mark less effective for a little while. *hint*)Mark went through the remains of the armory and dug through the rubble to see what he could find. Mark found a Flashbang with a bent pin, it would need to be fixed before it could be used, A Suit mounted flash light, And a pair of Urban operator gloves. The door to the sewers was still standing. Mark walked through and pulled out his pistol, although it was also dark, so he turned on his Torch and walked down the stairs and into the sewers. Mark ended up in a room with a damaged wall, it wasn't broken yet, but he could probably break it open. Mark didn't have the time, he got a running start and rammed the wall with his shoulder. Vargas flew through the wall along with pieces of wall and landed on the floor of another room, bumping into something furry. Mark stood up and shook off the daze the impact put on him. The light had turned off when mark smashed through the wall, mark turned it back on to reveal what looked like someones home. Hearing noises behind him, he turned around and found another army of pokemon. Mark gave an awkward look, trying to smile, and waved at the army. "Hey, ill just find another way" Mark said in an awkward voice, even though he knew it was too late for a retreat. |
Silence Quickslash
Oreburgh Sewers The sounds of fighting could be heard - or felt - in the sewers. The army of pokemon was preparing to burst up the stairs when there was a crash and a human came bursting through a damaged wall. He turned on a flashlight and turned around to see them. He looked completely out of place. "Hey, I'll just find another way," he said awkwardly. Silence quickly recognized him from the Jubilife Battle. She was upon him in moments with a smirk on her face. "You should have killed me when you had the chance," she said as she slammed her claws into his right shoulder, following it up quick as a flash with a Night Slash in the same place, cutting deep into his flesh. In the same movement, she slammed her other hand, which was curled into an ice covered fist, into his stomach. His vest took most of the damage but it still sent him flying towards a wall. A Dark Pulse made him hit even harder. If she was lucky, she had destroyed his radio. With her luck she probably hadn't. The Weavile stood at the ready in case the human was still conscious. She never turned away from an enemy until she was sure it was down for good. (OOC: Sorry about the short post. I made it as long as I could.) |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Armory/Sewers Rumble looked around from the roof of the part of the building which wasn't destroyed, as he heard the Arcanine roar: the diversion attack had started. But were was the sewer assault? He was trying to clean his subconscious. It was impossible that he - who had dreamed of this chip for 12 years - to want to throw it away and fight with the other Pokemon. But he could find a middle-solution. His body started glowing as he was using Recover, a part of his powers coming back to him. Rumble saw a sniper in a tall building and he figured he could be a problem. What mattered now was to get the sewer assault mission outside. He activated his camo and jumped out of the roof, levitated straight to the sewers entrance. The psychic Pokemon cracked the door open... he reached his base. "You heard Hector, everyone in your positions. Let's get the hell outta here" This time he didn't use his psychic voice. But his tone hadn't changed at all, even after the events that took place in the Armory. Then he noticed the human and the Weavile. He raised his right eyebrows in a playful mood. "A Weavile's on a rampage, it seems" said while laughing. He turned to his desk and picked up a bigger package than before, carrying it with his powers. He nodded to all the Pokemon to follow him. After they were about to exit the sewer door, Rumble said with his maniacal voice: "Leave nothing behind.." The Pokemon roared and exited the sewers, headed in the streets to stop the humans who were about to go assist the outskirts of the town. Rumble, once again, unnoticed, he activated his camo and walked straight into the electric fence electricity supply system. He was planning to fight, just with a more spectacular way. He was going to blow some minds away. Literally. It was a fairly big tower, like a lighthouse. Shape didn't matter. Rumble hid the explosives behind the camo as he was walking on the streets, trying to avoid humans. One bullet was enough to make him toast. He finally reached the tower as he saw all the Pokemon from outside the fence gaining on it. Where's Hector? He'd be in front of them... Snippers? Rumble thought with a slight frown on his face. He shook off his thoughts and focused on his fight plan. He opened the package, took the explosives and put them around the building. Rumble deactivated his overheating camo. Now he could be seen but he didn't care; humans would have alot bigger problems. Alot humans were standing ready, behind the fence. He was about to get noticed... The boom from the explosion shook the whole city. The building took a spectacular fall straight into a part of their army, raising a huge amount of dust. Crush!, thought Rumble as he was smiling next to the fallen building, satisfied of his work. He turned around to see a group of humans headed to the fence. Rumble, from in the dust, he pulled the trigger of his flamethrower, with the same, ever-lasting crooked smile of his. Six humans were burned down, helpless againist the merciless fire Rumble unleashed againist them. He doubted the human army behind him had seen or heard his flame, as they were focused on the incoming Pokemon. But, he was probably seen by snipers. He saw the Zorua in her shadow form jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Time for some diplomacy, he thought as he stood right where he was, down the street. |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Streets Rising up from the ground, her black stature grew color as she ran towards a potion she had found in the trash. The Zorua had never felt so lucky in her life. Grabbing it out, her small paws pressed down on the medicine bottle- which was empty. Barking out in frustration, she tossed it against the wall, smacking it with Sucker Punches until it shattered from the force. How could she have been so weak back in the armory? Lydia was a Dark type- even her powered up hits had no effect on the Reuniclus, which was a Psychic. "I am.. Death-proof"; the words cracked her mind. That wasn't possible. No matter how superior Rumble thought he was, he had to have a weakness- a limit- something. Lydia didn't know what, but she couldn't live under his fear. She couldn't be that weak, and she couldn't have the Reuniclus thinking she was either. Her sharp teeth dug together in frustration as she hit her head on the wall looking for answers. If only she had evolved, if only she could... Snapping herself out of her minds, Lydia kept running through the streets in pursue for medicine. There was nothing, not even any humans around. At times like this, she was lonely. Wade was still missing, too. She yearned to see him. He always had a way of making her feel better when she broke down. Thinking of him, she kept searching through the trash, finding mainly empty bottles but trying each one in hope that there was at least a little juice left. The most there ever was was a single spray. Finally finding a super potion, she sprayed herself slowly until her small injuries were gone. Her paws seemingly cried with relief, as well as some of her fur which grew back. Lydia's smile didn't, but she was thankful to see her injuries healed. Walking back she continued reviewing over her battle with Rumble, and her thoughts for Wade. Was Wade mad at her? She couldn't live with that. Did she hurt him...? A huge explosion was heard in the distance, a building falling at the same time. Climbing up one of the buildings, she looked ahead to see Rumble again, the dust clearing around him. Her ears pinned back as she began running. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, her shadow form took over as the black enfolded over her. She hit the ground a few meters in front of him. The Zorua looked more bloodthirsty than before, the first sign she was itching for a rematch. The second one was because her shadows were kept on. She was silent, but immediately began smacking him into a building with Sucker Punches like she did the plastic potion. Stopping for a moment, her shadows formed large claws of dark energy, Night Slashing him across the side. She felt some gel being cut through, and she jumped back off the building wall to give them some distance. |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Sewers "You should have killed me when you had the chance," The weavile said, smirking. "I won't make that mistake again" The weavile jumped and attacked mark fast enough for him not to be able to tell what was happening other than flying into a wall. Marks visor suddenly had a HUD and started bleeping to let mark know his vitals were low. Mark stood up and threw off his helmet, too distracting. "You know, you never told me your name." Mark put up his fists "I'm Mark, nice to meat you." Mark said as he punched the weavile across the face. "I can go for a little work out anyways." Mark then proceed to guide his fist into the weavile's gut, and then an uppercut to the face. The pokemon fell backwards and mark cracked his knuckles. "Be sure to know your own limits, some people might be above them." Mark said with a little stream of blood coming out the side of his mouth. "This is gonna be fun, heheheh" mark said. 'I hope i didn't overstep my limits this time' Vargas thought to himself. The weavile jumped back to her feet. Mark walked right up to the pokemon, cracking the knuckles on his other hand. |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Streets Rumble saw Lydia jumping on him. She had the bloodthirsty look on her face - she pushed him to a wall and began hitting him with Sucker Punch. She Night Slashed through the gel. The Psychic Pokemon didn't feel anything - but the mass of gel lost would need days to come out again. She backed down. Rumble started laughing again - but he knew he was injured, even if he didn't feel it. Lydia had touched his nanotech armor, she had gone too far this time. "Hahah.. You're quite fast! So how about a magic trick?" Rumble was laughing, but the fury was overwhelming him once more as he charged the streets with his powers, forming another Trick Room. He paused and stood for a moment with his dark-amber eyes glowing like fire from power. "If you're gonna fight me, you're gonna do it with MY rules. My turn again" said Rumble, making fun of her as he was smiling again. He raised his right arm with extreme speed, using telepathy to knock her down and launched another harpoon at her. |
Silence Quickslash
Oreburgh Sewers The human got up any threw off his helmet, than approached Silence with raised fists. "You know, you never told me your name," he said. "I'm Mark, nice to meet you." He punched the Weavile across the face. "I can go for a little work out anyways," Mark said as he proceeded to punch her in the gut and uppercut her face. She fell backwards and blood pooled in Silence's mouth. "Be sure to know your own limits, some people might be above them," Mark said with a little stream of blood coming out of his mouth. He chuckled, "This is gonna be fun, heheheh." Silence jumped back to her feet and blood on his face. She than backed away while using blizzard on the moist floor, freezing it completely over while staying out of range of any punches. When she was finished, they were in a room of ice. The human would be at a disadvantage here while it would make it easier for Silence. Being a Weavile she knem how to manuveur on slick surface. She almost seemed to glide across the ice as she circled Mark. "It's not nice to attack someone before they're able to answer your question," she hissed and shot a series of Dark Pulses at him, effectively attacking him while staying out of range of his fists. While the long range attacks distracted him, she slid past him on her back, slicing into his leg with a Night Slash. She dug her claws into the ice, allowing herself to quickly get up behind the human and punch him in the head with an Ice Punch. She jumped and pushed off his back, sending him sliding across the ice and her a feet in the opposite direction. She looked at him icily. "By the way, it's Silence." |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Streets "Hahah, you're quite fast! So how about a magic trick?" he laughed. She despised such laugh. The psychic pokemon set up a Trick room around the streets. The Zorua began to feel the weight on herself, cursing under her breathe knowing this was going to affect her severely. Rumble paused for a minute, his amber eyes staring into hers, "If you're going to fight me, you're going to do it with MY rules. My turn again." He raised his right arm with new flexibility, using telepathy to knock the Zorua down and shoot a harpoon at her. Lydia struggled to push herself up as it was fired at her. She was too late, as it cut through her side, blood and shadows flew out, the shadows re-connecting onto her torn flesh; putting pressure on the huge wound so it wouldn't bleed as much. A cry would have came out, but the darkness wrapped around her broke the sound waves as they came out. "This is bad. Without my speed, my attacks aren't good, and I can't set up a strong enough Protect," she thought to herself. Getting back up, she began adjusting to the weight, "Lets see how he deals with this". Trying to ignore the pain, she slid back onto the ground as a shadow, splitting with 3 of her shapes rising back out of the ground. Though they moved slowly, the black streaks lingered to make each one appear to have multiples behind them. Each had glowing red eyes. Using Extrasensory, each lit up for a moment as the Zorua blurred the Reuniclus' vision. From the right side, Lydia lingered behind, jumping around her clones as they also switched positions. In unison, they ran for another physical attack on the gel surrounding his body, both sides and his face. |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Streets Rumble started laughing when he saw the drill hitting its target. Lydia was in pain, he could see that in her movement. Then she pulled out a dirty trick: Double Team. His face became a mask of fear. Then he started laughing again - this time it was real. "Oh no!" cried Rumble, trying to get ahold of himself. The intelligent Psychic Pokemon thought something in half a second. She was dark type, she was depending on back-stabbing. Rumble turned around, ignoring all clones, grabbed Lydia's arm she was about to use Night Slash with, and with his amazing new-born speed he used Psycho Cut with his free arm, right on her belly. Not a good advantage, and it wouldn't cut through the skin, but he was almost thrice her size. The force of the hit threw her back, he immediately used telepathy to soften her fall... He waited like a gentleman with an evil smile and eyes, for her to get up. |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Streets Figuring out which shadow was which, he successfully grabbed her arm, using Psycho Cut on her belly. No pain was felt, but it blew her back a good distance. Bracing herself for the hit, to her surprise she was placed down on the ground with the Reuniclus' teleplathy. "He still takes me as a joke..." Rumble was waiting for her. She felt anger bubbling inside her veins as she stood up, facing him with cold eyes and shooting out a last anger-filled Night Daze as her paws pounded on the ground with large force. With the last blow, the shadows crept off her, the Zorua's side somewhat bleeding but the rest of her looking fine. She faced him, not wondering what her attacks had done, but why he had to keep tormenting her. "I'm done," she said, her ruby eyes not as dark as previously. Lydia was hurt, but somehow felt better with her frustration out. Her calm was coming back. |
Jack Spark
Oreburgh City Hospital "Your name is Jack Spark" This single sentence triggered memories in Jack's mind. Vague memories. He would see a hazy image of himself, and some other things. He couldn't figure out what. It was as if he was reading a book wearing somebody else's spectacles. Everything was blurry. But one thing he could make out was blurry bluish-blackish fur. And if almost on cue, he whispered to himself, "Wade...." He couldn't remember whose name it was, where he had heard it, or whether it was a name or not. He just knew. "Wade...." he whispered again. He looked at the young boy called Ali. "I think there is a way through which I can get my memories back. If something, that was familiar to me in the past, was shown to me, or if someone I knew, or some event, it would trigger some memories in my brain. Make me remember." Jack said. In this current state, he didn't know what he was saying. He probably knew this in the past. Even if he couldn't remember anything, he knew one thing for sure. Everyone in this room, in this building, in this town, or probably even even in this region, depended on him. There was something big going on, and he had to get his memories back. Fast. And the only thing that could bring them back, according to Jack, was 'Wade'. (OOC: Hope this isn't short or wrong. Typed this at 12 AM.) |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Streets Lydia was angry, Rumble could tell by her eyes. She unleashed a Night Daze at him, which hit him the instant he was using Recover. The damage wasn't serious at all. He looked back at her, expecting another attack. But what he saw was a drained little creature. His smile disappeared instanly when he heard her; "I'm done" she said with calm eyes. figured she was sleepy. He levitated closer to her, slowly, and cautiously. Their eyes met once more as he reached to the ground. His face had a passive, almost serious expression as he spoke. "We have the same target... Why do you fight me so hard? Why can't we just tag along?" whispered Rumble. He widened his amber eyes in surprise, as she climbed up to his left shoulder. The tank saw another group of humans heading to the fence. He levitated away in the backalley, with the Zorua on his shoulder. Rumble wasn't sure what he was feeling, remorse, sympathy? Some things he wasn't made to compute with. Besides, he just fought with the creature he was carrying and was about to lend her his powers... He looked up to his left shoulder as he leaned againist a wall. "You're hurt... Allow me" Rumble let his power run through his gel, straight into Lydia's paws. She was slighty bleeding. He searched around his armor with his right arm to find the water capsules he made back in Jubilife. He gave her them, closed his eyes and stood motionless as he was recovering. |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Streets/Alley His smile faded, much to her surprise as he levitated slowly towards her. She figured he was going to say something to get her nerves up, but instead her eyes widened as she listened. "We have the same target... Why do you fight me so hard? Why can't we just tag along?". His sentence made sense, and the Zorua heard emotion for the first time in his tone. Like she said earlier, she was done fighting. Finally accepting him, she ran up his shoulder with her small paws. He looked surprised. They began levitating away from the groups of humans in the distance. Lydia's body felt sore, her paws still slightly burned and her side cut open from the harpoon. Rumble relaxed against a wall. "You're hurt... Allow me", he said, taking her paw and sending his psychic energy into her. She didn't expect it, but began memorizing each one he had. There was many. Her friend took out water capsules from his armor, handing them to her as he started recovering. She jumped off so she wouldn't become a distraction. The Zorua began making use of the pokemon's generousity, healing herself as well, thinking about what to make of Rumble's sudden kindness. Lydia hadn't expected it. She tried to mutter a 'thank you', but nothing came out. Instead, she was focusing on her newly obtained powers. Being a psychic pokemon was interesting in her opinion, moving around small objects on the ground while focusing her mind. Rumble also knew Recover, which the Zorua used to slowly heal her cut. Getting up, she checked for humans. So far none were visible. Looking back, she faced Rumble. "Rumble, why are you helping me? I attacked you..." |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Streets "Rumble, why are you helping me? I attacked you..." As he heard his name, his heart pounded faster. Trust me, trust me.. Rumble put her down on the filthy floor of the backalley with telepathy. His own eyes were deceiving him. However, when he started speaking, his tone had that intimidating seriousness in it. He chose his words wisely. "... It doesn't matter now. I got what I wanted." Rumble said. He wasn't sure if he was suspicious or not of the Pokemon before him. Then, he looked up the sky. "I'll be leaving to the north, shortly. I'm getting my blood back. Come with me, if you want" The thought of getting revenge exerted his deadened nerves. He stared her straight into her eyes, awaiting for her response. |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Alley "... It doesn't matter now. I got what I wanted," he said to her, glancing back at the sky. It was dusk, orange colors flowing with the darkened blue. He countinued, "I'll be leaving to the north, shortly. I'm getting my blood back. Come with me, if you want." He was staring into her eyes, and she stared back. The pokemon probably knew what her answer already was by the expressions on her face, but she said it anyways. "You know revenge really isn't my thing," she said, chuckling at the irony, "If your going to be killing nonstop, I best stay out of it. It'll be easier for both of us that way." While replying, Lydia thought of her own task. With Wade missing, it was going to be up to her to search for him. The Reuniclus would be able to travel by himself, probably not feeling the least bit lonely. The Zorua would just slow him down. She stretched out. "If your going up north, I'll be here waiting for you when you come back," she smiled. |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Sewers The weavile backed away, freezing the floor. "Clever, but you'll need to do more than make things slippery to take me out!" Mark got what he asked for. The pokemon slid circles around mark, too far away for him to trip her though, and shot a few Dark Pulses at him. While Mark was distracted, she slide past him, using night slash to gash marks leg. By the time mark reacted, the weavile was already behind him, she punched mark in the head with an Ice Punch, then jumping off mark. Mark fell to the ground and slid along the ice, while the weavile landed perfectly on the ice. "By the way, it's Silence." She said. Mark got up, almost slipping again. "Well, silence, your going to have to teach me how to get around on ice better." Mark spun around, wiping the blood from his face, Mark smirked, with a new plan in mind. Mark started to run, but then, using the pokemon's stratagy, slid by, sticking his knife into the ice so he could stop, then Mark stood up. Mark pulled out his pistol and grabbed silence by the neck, putting the gun to her head. "Now whose got the upper hand, hmm?" |
Silence Quickslash
Oreburgh Sewers Mark got to his feet, almost slipping again. "Well, Silence, your going to have to teach me how to get around on ice better," he said and spun around wiping blood off his face. He ran at her than, using the exact same strategy as Silence except with a knife instead of his claws, slipped around behind her and grabbed her by the neck and put a gun to her head. "Copycat," she muttered. Her eye twitched, showing that she was about to have a rare burst of anger and she discreetly clenched her fist and hit him in the spot that she had found really hurt boys. A lot. As fast as a whirlwind, she grabbed both of his arms and twisted around so she was facing him, still holding him and with the gun now pointing upwards. She kneed him in the stomach than flipped him around so he was facing away from her with his arms crossed and his hands behind him. Letting go, she jumped and kicked him in the back making him fall forward. She quickly got on his back and wrapped her claws around his neck, starting to squeeze. "No one copies me and gets away with it," she hissed. |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Sewers Mark was still in pain from getting hit..... where it counts when Silence jumped on his back and rapped her claws around Mark's neck. He had two options, A knife to her head, or continue with the plan, which was going pretty good so far. Mark needed to make his one move quick, quicker than the weavile's. Mark grabbed the Barrel of his M-107 and pulled down on it, hard, causing his passenger to loose her grip. Trying to slit his throat, Silence ended up leaving a nice gash across mark's face. Vargas pushed the weavile over him turning he so she was facing his direction. Next, mark pulled out his smg with his free hand and grabbed the back of Silence's head, bending her over the barrel and pulling the trigger long enough to squeeze off three bullets. "Guess i'll be the one who gets away." Mark laid the pokemon on the ground and started to walk away. (Now silence needs to do some crippling attack to mark and we will be all good, Also, sorry for short post, don't know how to make it longer) |
(Wew. sorry for long wait. been working on Pokemon Odyssey. 6500 word post there. now i'm outta brain juice)
Wade Oreburgh City Road to Hospital The Hospital in Oreburgh City was rather far away from the...well, City. It was located north, and the City was south, so Wade didn't bump into other Pokemon on the way. But judging by the time, they had probably started the battle. Seeing the Hospital getting larger and larger as he approached it, Wade had a lot of questions popping out of his mind. Some questions about Lydia, and some about Jack Spark, his ex-trainer which was located in this very hospital. "What's happened to Lydia?" "Where's Rumble? Is Lydia together with him?" "What happens if Jack sees me?" "What if there are guards protecting him?" "What if Lydia doesn't love me anymore?" They were too many questions, too many questions messing with his mind, he couldn't even concentrate, and he was walking in a zig-zag manner. The others were probably underground, since Wade couldn't see anyone else. No matter. The less, the better. Trotting into the hospital, Wade stayed as stealthy as possible, walking at the sides. Some doctors were too busy treating their patients, they didn't bother noticing a black Pokemon with blue rings walking past them. There was a few that did though, and Wade had no choice but to eliminate them hastily. His fangs were growing back already, half as long as they were, and soon he could use them at full power again. His venom located in his fangs were also stacking up, so he could use them we he needed to. Looking into each room, Wade searched for a male with a mechanical arm, but failed to find any on the first floor. Growling, he jumped up the stairs with his short legs and pushed open the corridor doors. The second floor was rather quiet compared to the first, and the doors of the rooms were all closed shut. Pushing the first one, Wade was in luck. Jack was inside, but he wasn't alone. Ari was there with him, talking to him. Wade listened and smirked. He was in amnesia? This could give him a large advantage, but when Jack murmured 'Wade', the Umbreon knew he could still remember an amount of detail.. When Jack turned to his side, Wade's eyes shot right back at him, their glances meeting for a quick second... |
Jack Spark
Oreburgh City Hospital Jack examined his mechanic arm. He pessed a button, causing a bullet to shoot and hit the wall next to Ali. "Whoops. Sorry bout that." He said. He carefully pointed his hand downwards, and pressed another button. Retractable claws slid out of the hand. He touched the tip of the blade. Blood oozed out from a tiny cut on his finger. "Hmmm....." the hand was fully equipped for attacking. But attacking what? Jack pressed another button, the last one. An electric shock jolted the concrete floor. "New addition, that one. Electric shocks. Works like a taser. Consider it an in-built one." The scientist from before walked in, and smiled at Jack. But, the door burst open, and a blackish-bluish animal walked in. "An Umbreon....." Jack thought. "Now how do I know that?" Something sparked in Jack's mind. It was still vague, but he could clearly see an Umbreon. He remembered all the Pokemon, but nothing after that. Looking at the Umbreon, the name 'Wade' started ringing in his ears. Jack wanted to ask, "Who are you?", but he probably already knew the answer. "W-Wade?" |
Wade
Oreburgh City Hospital "W-Wade?" Jack asked, in a rather startled tone. Wade smirked. If it was the old Jack he would had bounced up and attacked him by now. But he didn't. Apparently he wasn't fully well, and needed some medical attention. His arm, however, was still made of metal, and it looked rather different than last time. It looked larger and had more reinforcement muscles, not to mention there were more plates on the thing as defense. Wade had a feeling that biting it would be a problem now. Apparently Jack still had his amnesia, but he could still remember important objects, like Wade, for example. Don't flatter me.Wade smirked, feeling rather important for a few seconds. He wanted to play some tricks on him, to get some information, but judging by his wounds and his voice, his memory was coming back, fast. So he had to kill right now, as soon as possible before his anger had returned. Walking to him sneakily like a tiger, Wade snickered, talking in a voice that sounded like an evil snake or some sort, "Hello, Jack. Long time no see, am I right?" Looking up, he saw a large metal pipe, and he had an idea. His body glowing, he sent a shadow ball towards it with his mouth, and the pipe exploded, water flowing out. But that wasn't the point. The whole pipe was falling...falling onto Jack's head.... "Buh-bye." |
Jack Spark
Oreburgh City Hospital "Hello, Jack. Long time no see, am I right?" "Long time.....no see? Yeah, that's right." He thought. Wade walked upto Jack, and blasted a Shadow Ball towards him. Jack felt paralyzed for a moment, too scared to move. The Shadow Ball went up dangerously close to his face. He could feel the burning sensation on his face. Burning.....Burning.....Burning..... The single sensation triggered his memories. He remembered, when Wade was small, he used to blast Shadow Balls on Jack's face. It would always be the same. The same Burning sensation..... Almost at once Jack's memories flowed into his mind. He remembered everything, the War, the Battle, the Ice, everything. But that was not the point right now. The Shadow Ball crashed into the ceiling, and made the pipes on the ceiling burst. Water flowed on his head, and made him lose his focus. He heard metal clanging on the ceiling, and looked up to see a pipe falling on his head. He punched the pipe with his BioArm, cracking it in two. Jack looked at Wade, smiling, and said, "Yeah, correct Wade. Long Time No See." |
Wade
Oreburgh City Hospital With one strong attack, Jack punched the falling pipe with his bioarm, and the pipe was cracked into two instantly. Never underestimate the power of the Bioarm. Wade tilted his head. That meant that he had retrieved his memory, and he could now remember who he was. Which also meant that things would get really interesting...Wade put his guards up, reading to attack or dodge the next one. He was here to make Lydia proud, and he wasn't planning to go down without a proper, large fight. Jack looked at Wade, smiling, and said, "Yeah, correct Wade. Long Time No See." "I see you're back to your old self." Wade smirked, a little smile on his face, "But it's the full moon today, and you're out of luck!" Quickly vanishing into thin air, Wade sneaked around the room quickly, dashing around with Faint attack, then appeared behind the commander of the HR, kicking his head from behind with a loud 'thwang'. The large kick made his head shoot forward, and Wade blasted him with a large shadow ball, hitting him from behind. Wade roared, his blue rings glowing ever so brightly, then bit his shoulder, injecting a large amount of venom into him. He had lost last time, but that was because they were fighting under the bright sun. Now, Wade was able to unleash his full power... (Bunny me, rusty. Lydia, he'll throw Wade out, so you can go to him. He's not dead, but heavily injured. I'll post a reply in 14 hours) |
Hector Arcturus
Oreburgh City Hector continued towards the goal, the electric fence, but for some reason, it was inactive. It appeared that the mission had already been accomplished. Hector assumed things had either been accomplished in the underground, or it was very heated up down there. Hector's thinking was interrupted when a bullet aimed right at him. He attempted to dodge, but the bullet still managed to graze his side. Right after, a second bullet shot at his paw. It wasn't a serious wound, as it was also basically a graze, Hector took cover, trying to figure out where the bullets came from. Judging by the velocity and the damage, it most likely came from snipers, probably on the rooftops, but which rooftop, Hector wasn't sure. He motioned with a bark for the other Pokemon to stay low. They may have now disabled the electric fence, but now it seemed they had an opportunity to advance and flank them on both sides, one underground, and one here. Still, Hector order his Pokemon to remain in cover, and only break it for short periods of time to move to another cover. This wouldn't be like Jubilife. He won't see Pokemon charge recklessly. They may be animals, but they have instinct as well. Hector moved from building to building, avoiding bullets as they passed. He took in a deep breath, and decided to return fire on a few buildings, launching a few Flamethrowers towards the buildings, hoping they would catch on fire, and burn the victims from the inside. |
Khufu had just been going through the motions, leading the armies through the sewers of Oreburgh City. He barely even noticed Mark and Silence fighting at first, but then the ring of three shots from Mark snapped the PR General into action. Lunging at the human, who was evidently trying to get away from the scene, Khufu flicked a fierce Shadow Ball from several metres away, knowing that with his accuracy it would hit its target. Mark, who apparently wasn't expecting an attack, was struck in his shoulder.
Not wasting any time, Khufu ignited his jaw and clamped down hard on Mark's side with a Fire Fang. The pain was still very real for Khufu, ever since his teeth had been ruined at Jubilife City, but he shoved the pain down and hung on until his fangs sunk into Mark's skin. Gasping hard for breath as he stepped back, Khufu waited for a scream of pain from Mark. Anyone would hurt from that, Khufu thought, shifting his legs into a defencive stance, lower to the ground. Khufu wasn't going to give up. He intended to kill Mark Vargas right then and there. |
Silence Quickslash
Oreburgh Sewers The man pulled hard on his gun causing Silence to lose her balance. In an attempt to slit his neck she cut a gash across Mark's face. Her pushed the Weavile over him so she was facing him and grabbed the back of her head. He pulled out another gun and Silence wondered just how many this guy had. He leaned her over the barrel and shot her three times in the gut making her hiss in pain. She never had been one to scream. He set her down on the ground and Silence felt herself slipping into unconsciousness. 'No, no, no, no, NO!' she screamed in her mind and forced her eyes to open. The human was walking away from her. Making as little noise as she could, she struggled to sit up. Blue energy formed in her hands as she charged up a Focus Blast. She didn't have the strength to fully charge it but would have to hope it would be enough. Her vision going blurry, she fired at the unsuspecting human before she blacked out with blood pooling around her. |
Rumble
Oreburgh City Rumble stood motionless againist the dirty wall of the backalley in Oreburgh city he and Lydia had hid. The mechanized monstrosity hearing to the name Rumble awaited the Zorua's response to his important question, although he already knew her answer. "You know revenge really isn't my thing," she said, Rumble detected something in her voice - lying? "If your going to be killing nonstop, I best stay out of it. It'll be easier for both of us that way." For a brief momentum, Rumble's sympathy for the only Pokemon he knew so well was instanly halved and something new -not entirely- was born inside him: true rage. "If your going up north, I'll be here waiting for you when you come back," But when she heard those words and saw her smile, his rational side managed to bring calm into his raging mind. Lydia said she'd be waiting. He hadn't lost the only friend he'd ever make. He pulled off a last -real- smile, showing off his teeth to the small fury Pokemon next to him. "Take this. And do whatever you want with it. I don't want it or need it anymore." The tape he'd shot containing her betrayal flew of his gel and fell in front of her feet. He knew she had regretted it. But, the devious Rumble always keeps a copy of his tapes... "Their screams will be silenced as I'll rip their bodies into pieces" muttered Rumble with his most terrifying voice, his eyes coldest as ever. He turned his back and levitated away from the backalley and the Zorua with some last words. "Stay outta trouble" Rumble's headache got worse after leaving the backalley. He hadn't felt so many emotions altogether in his mind. He walked down the streets like a ghost with his camo, searching for a vehicle. He walked out of the city to the northeast were Mt. Coronet was. He looked down at his armor, inside his gelly: the chip was still there. The nano-technology he'd stolen would be copy and altered as soon as the second part of his plan would be completed. He raised his eyes and saw a Monster Truck parked in a fence. Heheh.. humans make cool machines. Rumble smashed the fiber-glass window with telepathy, and squeezed himself into the car. His experience with machines was big, but with hotwiring cars, it was just zero. He'd have to study it a bit. |
Ali Krista
Hospital, Oreburgh (That's right. The general is back, baby! I sorta changed it a little so that I'm not in the room when you two fight, if that's okay.) "Wade..." The Commander's memories had all condensed into one Pokemon; the spy with the most troublesome reputation. Ali nodded solemnly as Jack requested something to jog his memory, but knowing his luck, the only thing that would work would be the thing most likely to kill the man. Ali ignored the buzzing of his radio as he attempted to rekindle Jack's memories, who was intrigued by his all-too-new BioArm. As Ali's radio crackled for the third time, Jack set off a small bullet which missed the general by inches. Wow. New Jack is annoying. The Scientist walked towards Jack, and Ali's radio crackled once more. For crying out loud... Nodding to the scientist, Ali excused himself from the room, pulling out the radio as he went. "What is it?!" He growled into the transceiver, rolling his shoulders. "Sir! The Pokemon, they've invaded! What do we..?" The anxious soldier's plea ended abruptly and a loud growling could be heard before the radio cut out. Well this is brilliant. Ali transmitted his next message to all humans in a position of power in Oreburgh. "Evac the city, now. We've been invaded. Soldiers who are able, we need half of you at the South Gate. The rest, protect the borders. That includes Coronet. Medics, transport, ensure the hospital is completely evacuated. This isn't a joke, people. Get your asses into gear, now!" Ali threw back two more painkillers before pulling out his guns and running to the door. He sped to the electric fences, his eyes flashing furiously. He was ready. (I know it's short, but I'm not sure where I can fit myself in. PR, attack me where you see fit.) |
Rumble
All around the region He waved back at the Zorua. After 20 minutes he managed to hotwire the car, as the machine took action and a wild rumble was heard from it. He saw a sign in the wheel "AUTOMATIC" Nice.. I like this, he thought as he grabbed the stirring wheel with his enormous hands. He looked in the backseat to find two big cylinders with a sign on them "PETROL - FLAMEABLE" "I'm ready for some endless roaming... Snowpoint, here we come" Rumble whispered to himself. "Let's see.. it's not hard to drive these things... all you got to do is control 2 things: the steering wheel and the button that moves it forward. Heheh.." Rumble laughed as he figured his trip would be heck funny with this extremely big car. He stirred the front wheels, and pressed carefully -he was smart- the button that makes it go forward. The engine roared as the car was slowly making a u-turn. "Keep her steady..." muttered to himself as the car was still on 10Mph. When it reached the asphalt, Rumble pushed the "button" to the max. The monster truck launched itself, heading north to Mt. Coronet, leaving Oreburgh City's fate in the hands of Hector. Rumble was travelling for 2 hours, and was now roaming the dangerous roads of Mt. Coronet with extreme speed. His impressions of the trip so far were exactly as he expected them: hella funny. The acceleration of the car wasn't special but its top speed was good for a monster truck. The psychic Pokemon sitting in the driver's seat hadn't traveled with such speed in a vehicle like that, but his extremely intelligent brain didn't get dizzy easily. He was feeling a little tired because of his fights with Lydia, but that was all. He managed to lock all his memories from the past few days in a folder in a corner of his brain and he focused on his road. The sun was intense and it was reflecting on the roof of the track, making it an oven inside. But Rumble didn't feel a thing, as he was protected by his gel... he was right now thinking of the possibilities of the black chip that was inside his body right now. Laser... Laser... Laser... Rumble thought as he was trying to focus on the road... but he was feeling tired. He was driving 4 hours straight, though he didn't meet many other cars. And those he met, he burned them out with his flamethrower and threw them out of the road. After a while, Mt Coronet covered the sun entirely, and the scenery outside Rumble's window became snowy. Rumble was tired. Every being has its limit.. and I hadn't sleep last night. Somewhere inside him, he blamed Lydia for waking him up. But he forgot it. He pulled over the monster truck and headed in the forest... then he stopped the car. His powers had been drained from pressing the "button" with telepathy so many hours in a row, because his feet couldn't reach it. Rumble locked the doors and fell asleep. |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Sewers Mark Limped towards the exit into the sewers, picking up his helmet, and putting it back on. He dug through his backpack for his first aid kit, pulling out two rolls of elastic wrap, scissors, and some medical tape. Mark covered all injuries except for his face gash. Mark turned around to see Silence struggling to stay awake on the ground, he rolled the other elastic wrap to her and started limping to the sewers. Mark picked up his pistol, still walking. A shadow ball and Focus blast both hit mark at about the same time, knocking him off his feet. Mark fell down and fired off a few shots with his pistol in the direction the shadow ball came from knowing he wouldn't hit anything. Mark stood back up, in pain as the PR general jumped out of nowhere and bit into mark's side with a fire fang. Obviously ignoring the pain of his shattered teeth, he bit through mark's skin, Mark was screaming in pain on the inside. Mark's helmet started bleeping again, so again, he took it off, as the general started to back away, gasping for breath. Mark was not only bleeding out, but the bite stung and burnt at the same time. 'Here we go again' mark thought to himself. The two were standing there, waiting for an attack, but it was marks turn. Mark pulled out his knife again, but the blade snapped off. "Awww, Cheap piece of Sh*T!" Mark said as he threw the remains of the knife to the ground. Mark started running, but slipped a couple feet from his target. 'Go with it Mark, just go with it' Mark said as he got up, Cocking his pistol. Mark pulled the trigger 3 times, but only one bullet came out, hitting the flareon in the left front paw. The rest were clicks, Mark searched his body for a new magazine but came up empty handed. In a last ditch effort for a weapon, He picked up the knife blade off the ground and used his medical tape to tape it to the end of the barrel of his pistol, it was a quick tape job, but it should be thick enough to last. |
Lydia
Oreburgh City Streets/Alley The Reuniclus looked doubtful at her for a moment, then changed back into his smile. He handed her a last gift. It was a tape. She slightly tilted her head at it, although it wasn't noticeable. "Take this, and do whatever you want with it. I don't need or want it anymore," he said, the Zorua nodding and stuffing it in her mane for later. He continued. "Their screams will be silenced as I rip their bodies into pieces," he was muttering, both to himself and Lydia. His voice was wretchedly deep, his eyes giving off a vengeful glow. The Zorua gave an odd grin, only able to imagine what he would do to the humans. She didn't like it, but she wasn't going to stop him. Watching him float away, she walked behind, eager to say goodbye once they parted ways. Seeing him hop into a human-made vehicle, she waved goodbye with her tiny arm raised up, shaking it and running into another random direction once she was satisfied. The 'search' for her loved one would begin. Her feet pattering along the streets, she dodged clear of any humans through her shadow abilities. The Zorua would take a second to examine any and every building, looking for signs that a fight may have been taking place. Otherwise she would scan in front of her, though each small task she took was found to no avail. "He could be lost in the sewers. He isn't here, at least." Turning her direction, she slipped through the fences and back into the rotten place she original came from. Climbing down the stairs, she paced around through the corridors. "Wade?" |
Luke Van Eyla
Oreburgh City Hospital Luke spied and tailed the Umbreon surreptitiously all the way until he didn't realized that he had set foot into the boundaries of Oreburgh City, the current human base. What am I doing here? What is Wade doing here? All of a sudden, the Pokemon with blue luminous rings vanished and for a while, the Vanillite was searching high and low for the Umbreon whilst trying to stay out of human sight. Then, movement upfront in the buildings caught his eyes and he saw Wade enter the recesses of a building. Tension charging up in his puny body, Luke floated towards the building while his nature created a mild snowfall in the city. His powers went out of hand sometimes when he's feeling very nervous or perhaps, annoyed or worried. Wade?? What in Arceus' name?! Luke looked about, the same way he did when sneaking out of PR, before drifting through the entrance Wade was last seen using. Moving along the corridors, Luke suddenly froze at a loud sound. It sounded as if something huge and hard and either been broken or fell to the ground. Then, as the Vanillite levitated stealthily, he espied an ajar door with noises within the room. The corridor was dimly lit and Luke released a wintry breeze, sending the fluorescent bulbs to flicker and fuse off. Cautiously, he casted a Mirror Shot and warped the metallic panel near the doorknob and nudge it. The door creaked for a split second, causing Luke's nerves to perk up sharply while negating the temperature of the vicinity by a few degrees. The door shifted fully open and peeking in warily, Luke noticed Wade and....the Vanillite gasped audibly...Jack Sparks. The HR leader looked to be healthy and seemingly recovered with his nasty Bioarm. A smashed pipe laid at the side of the room and Luke added things together to assume that Jack was the diong of that thud he heard. Wade glared at Jack and Jack, well, kind of glared or stared back. Then, the Umbreon muttered something which didn't quite catch Luke's creamy ears and then, in a flash, a Shadow Ball was dealt onto the human. Through a window, Luke then noticed Wade's tactics. The full moon. How wise, Wade, as you're always. Since he was to be sensed, Luke remove his guise and barged in the doorway. "Hey guys. How's things?" Eying Jack, he taunted, "Hello, ice cube. How's your arm?" The swirling cream on Luke's head morphed into a human middle finger and it waggled at Jack. Winking at the Umbreon, "Sup pal?" The Vanillite bobbed forwards and pop his stubby hands together. He had a planned trick up his vanilla sleeve, and he couldn't wait to brag it especially to Jack. That would pay for the back shot and escaping his wrath. Luke sniggered at the thought of it. |
Jack Spark
Oreburgh City Hospital "Nice welcome, Wade" Jack thought as the little Umbreon disappeared, possibly for a faint attack. The Umbreon hit him on his head from behind, causing it to jolt forward. "OW! God dammit , Wade, a little gentle please!" Jack yelled. Buuuut of course Wade didn't listen. He simply blasted him in the back with a Shadow Ball, causing him to slam into the nearby wall. "Owowowowowowow hot hot hot hot hot" Jack grabbed a bottle of water from a desk beside him, pouring the water onto his burning back. "Ahhhhhhhh" Jack felt relieved. But Wade wasn't finished yet. He bit into Jack's shoulder, and Jack cried, "Ha! Wade, you've bitten me enough times in the past." He grabbed his mouth, loosening his grip on his shoulder, and picked him up, punched him once, and chucked him at a nearby bed. "Heh, you actually thought that was.....enough......?" Jack lost the focus in his eyes, and it felt as if all the energy drained out of his legs. He saved himself from collapsing, but he knew what was going on. "Venom...." Jack thought. "Ha! You think that's enough?!" He screamed at Wade. He knew he would have about ten minutes before he would succumb to the venom, but he knew ten minutes would be enough. Jack just prepared himself for a full all-out punch, and just as if on cue, a voice came. "Hey guys. How's things?" Jack looked at the voice's direction, and saw the one and only, Ice Cream. "Hello, ice cube. How's your arm?" Jack was petrified. He remembered all the torture he had to go through the interrogation, not to mention during the war. He was scared that he would have to go through all THAT again. But, of course he didn't let it show on his face. "Why, my arm's quite fine, Ice Cream. Itching to punch you, as always." He smirked. The Ice Cream formed a middle finger out of his head, and pointed it at him. "Oooh, not your style to give human abuses, Creamy." He hmself pointed his mechanical middle finger at him, and shot a bullet at the ceiling, telling the Ice Cream he didn't mean as an abuse only. "Wade's the least of my worries now" Jack thought. Perhaps ten minutes would be too less after all. Jack pointed his arm at the Ice Cream, while he was distracted with Wade, and gave him a good, long shock, hoping to make electricity a permanent fear for him. |
Rumble
Snowpoint Region Rumble woke up by the sunlight that was coming through the windows of the monster truck. He blinked his eyes, trying to remember what happened... then he looked around and remember it all, the battle, the fury. Revenge was getting closer and closer with every step he took to the north. He got out of the car and dragged the cylinders with the petrol outside. After filling the car's tank with the fuel, he got back inside with sleepy eyes. The monster truck started traveling again, this time on a valley full of snow. After a while trying to navigate, he finally reached the icy wasteland. It was snowing heavily. The road, if there was any, was covered in snow. The vehicle didn't have any particular problems running in the thick snow that must have been the road. Rumble followed that path for a while but then he had to stop. The path disappeared just like that and the truck got stuck deep in the snow. The Pokemon inside got mad and went outside. "COME ON, WORK YOU INFERNAL MACHINE!!!" exploded in fury as he punched the huge wheel of the monster truck. He tried using telepathy to unstuck it, but it was no use. His powers had weakened ever since he started using guns, but he didn't want to admit it. Back in the old days, he would be able to lift something like this car... He got bored, gave up and decided to blow it up. He backed down to a safe distance and his flamethrower -aimed straight at the tank- did its job well and the fuel ignited the whole car, the flames reaching the machine and an extreme explosion produced a sound wave that almost shook Rumble and his maniacal smile as he watched the car burning. "That will teach you" said Rumble "Not to get stuck in ice again, when I'm driving you" The clouds had covered the sun entirely, and it was still snowing heavily. The psychic Pokemon walking alone in the icy wasteland analyzed the raw material of snow although he knew what it was. Wow, if I were to melt all this ice, we'd have another ocean.. He glanced at the nanotech chip and for a moment he thought of actually making that idea come true, just to trouble the humans. But he decided revenge was a better plan and he continued levitating. As a Pokemon with a gel body, Rumble had huge amounts of energy. But the snow falling at his head and his shoulder was messing with his gel, and he needed to spin around to shook the snow off his body. He was exhausted after an hour of walking - even if he didn't feel much cold. The only thought keeping him going was the goal of the second part of his plan: to make a laboratory here, in the cold wastelands, where no one would find it. To accomplish that, he'd need materials from Snowpoint City's port. But there was something else he was thinking about; his first and only friend, Lydia, and how she could manage with him. He shook his head as he concentrated on his goal. After a long while he saw an actual road, and trees in the horizon. And then Snowpoint City. The houses had iced roofs on them, and the sea was full of icebergs. At lassst.. He grinned and let out a wild sigh. He went stealth mode inside the city, and although he was exhausted, he decided to navigate through the warehouses full of materials first. He stared at the buildings standing next to the port. Three huge trucks were there as well, ignoring that a plan involving them was formed in Rumble's mind. The Pokemon was standing in front of the warehouses, invisible and unwanted like a ghost. Some humans were working at the docks. Rumble resisted blowing them up, with their ship as well. After he had located the warehouses where they kept steel and glass, he hid a behind the trees just outside the city, in the coast. The devious monstrosity rested there, with his guard always up. His determination was rising every passing moment. He suddenly launched himself from the ground, as he couldn't just stand there. His fury and lust were consuming him. Rumble sneaked through the warehouses to the trucks. After he smashed the window, hotwired the vehicle -in less than 10 seconds- he drove it away from the other trucks. Then, a worker got in his way. Rumble had half a second to think of the most silent way to get rid of him. "Hey! Get off'a there!" the worker shouted at Rumble. Rumble got his arm out of the window, pointed at him and the worker was thrown in the air in front of the truck, unable to speak. Or in this case, scream. The truck hit the man hard, he fell on the ground. Rumble raised his arms in front of the warehouse with the steel, and a huge amount of it came out. "Gnnh.." The steel was way too heavy. About 5 tons of it. He put it gently in one of the other trucks, trying to hurry up as he wasn't exactly subtle. Then the glass -with a fair amount of plastic- was taken as well, in the other truck. The procedure took about one minute. Then he left the trucks and headed to the ship while taking off his camo and putting it inside his gel. He was feeling extremely weird for what he was about to do; he jumped in the cold water, next to the ship. Rumble dove deeper in the mass of water as his gel hardened to protect him and his devices from the threat of the liquid. The light coming from his flashlight was enough to see what was going on in front of him: lots of plants unknown to him. He swam straight in the bush where the anchor was and unstuck it with his enormous psychic powers, dragged it outside the water with him. The ship was refusing to let go of the anchor, so Rumble pulled the anchor's big chain harder. He shook the water off his gel and carried the anchor and its chain to the trucks. He connected the two by stucking the anchor's sides to both vehicles. That will do, thought the Pokemon as he broke into the second-in-line truck and pulled the handbreak. Hotwiring the first truck was now a piece of cake for him. "Let's get this baby to work!" shouted Rumble with a tone of joy in his voice as he pulled the handbreak and started the engine. The human workers had noticed him and run into him. He punched it as he ignited the third truck he killed the worker with, making it explode. The sound wave threw 2 of them back while the others fell on the ground covering their heads. "Losers.." muttered Rumble with a playful smile on his face, like he had won in a board game, as he was riding the trucks out of the city. The anchor seemed pretty heavy to break. Rumble reached the end of the road. He noticed it had stopped snowing. The Pokemon looked all around the horizon from in the driver's seat. A hill could be seen in about 30 meters. That's the place, then. Rumble looked at his armor - there was a dynamite just in case. He also had 4 Shockwave grenades he needed to improve before using them. He left the trucks at the end of the road and headed in the hill. There, the mass of snow was alot smaller. He tried making an ice ball and rolling it down the hill. The Pokemon laughed at the huge ball that ended up in the ground. But he concentrated and a serious expression took over his face as he dug a little in the snow, finding the ground. After a small hole was made, he placed the dynamite and the grenades. Fire in the hole, he thought sarcastically as he fired the dynamite from a safe distance. Rumble's laugh echoed in the hill after the huge explosion he -for the third time today- caused. The explosion was followed by an avalanche. All the snow fell down the hill, leaving a huge, open cave in the ground. Rumble drove the trucks in the snow as far as they could go then he unloaded their cargo and pushed it into the cave. Two hours of exhausting work after, he'd managed to bring all the materials into the cave which was still warm after the explosion. He got rid of the trucks by throwing them down the hill, having some more fun as the explosions shook the foundations of the hill, causing more avalaunches. Two days later, Rumble alone, with his powers, build the laboratory. The cave was now covered in steel, and the outside was covered in snow now. Only a small exit could be seen -only because he was allowing it to. In those days, he devoted himself to his gadgets putting to use the materials, his knowledge and his powers to make new stuff he was going to need to get his revenge back. The nanotech chip he stole was the base of all the technology he produced. He was working quickly and tirelessly with a passive expression on his face and a determination made of iron. "Ready for Round 2 with those Ultracorp idiots in Veilstone.." |
The bullet ripped through Khufu's front left paw, carving a path through the flesh and muscle on its way to a nest of muscle and bone. If Khufu had been shot just days earlier, he would have clamped his teeth together hard, but now it would make the heavy pain already in his paw much worse. Instead, he tightened his face into a grimace and tried to ignore the pain. Squinting up at Mark and growling, Khufu lunged forward as if to attack again with Fire Fang, but instead, he timed his footwork so he touched down before reaching him. In a fraction of a second, Khufu swung around his tail, normally made of heated fur, and hardened it into a solid mass. Twisting his head back to see where he was striking, he saw his tail slap Mark's legs hard. Laughing bitterly, Khufu leapt back and faced Mark with his whole body.
Khufu wasn't done. Any Toxic attack from a Pokemon would poison the unlucky victim. Usually, the poison wasn't severe, only damaging the target like a melee attack such as Surf or Slash. In those cases, the Pokemon restrained from injecting a fatal poison into the target. But in this situation, Khufu wouldn't hold back. Unless Mark could find a medic, there was a good chance he would die of the poisons. Generating a Toxic attack in his body, Khufu felt a powder materialise in his paws. Standing up on his hind legs to get a height advantage and sweeping his right paw in the air above Mark's exposed head, the fine, purplish powder sprinkled onto the top of Mark's head and any other exposed areas. The powder was so fine, Mark most likely hadn't seen it. The poisons would sink into his skin and soon reach his bloodstream. Until then, Khufu just had to focus on survival and defence. He couldn't help the smile forming on his face. Dropping back from Mark and down on all fours (or rather, three of his four, since his front left paw was unusable and he had to hold it off the ground), Khufu shifted his balance back and forth nervously. What if the toxins failed to work? What if the powder had never landed on Mark? There were too many "what if"s, and Khufu had no way to ignore them. He tried his best, leering at Mark, and felt them slowly slipping away. Confidence returned to him, and with it, so did the smile. |
Mark Vargas
Oreburgh Sewers Mark could see his opponent was in pain from the bullet, good, serves him right, try to ambush Mark. Mark jumped to a combat stance with his... weapon. The enemy general leaped at him, Mark held his stance. Mark swung the blade, the only problem being the general landed then, the blade harmlessly sliced the air. The Pokemon spun around and hit mark with Iron Tail in the back of the legs. Mark started to fall backwards but recovered into a backflip, somehow. 'Did i really just pull that off, wow, im getting good' Mark thought to himself. The attack wasn't over with that though, The flareon stood on his back legs. The pokemon had a height advantage. "Sh*t" mark whispered to himself. The flareon swung his right paw over Mark. Mark assumed he tried to punch him. "Missed!" Though he suddenly felt a slight tingle on his hands. Mark swung his knife weapon at the general, and missed as the pokemon dropped down onto three paws. Mark was tired and hurt, He was slowing down, making mistakes, not reacting fast enough, but he didn't show it. Mark was determined to at least survive the day. Mark took a step back and round house kicked the general square in the side of the face, taking another spin to get momentum on his blade and brought it down with full force. Mark only managed to put a slice on his back, also loosing balance on the slick ice and falling. Mark was going to need help, he was too tired. Mark reached for his radio, but finding nothing. He looked across the frozen room and saw the remains of the walkie where he had been attacked when he first entered. Again mark whispered "Sh*t" to himself, as he scrambled back to his feet. The elastic wrap he had on had ripped from the second battle, leaving him bleeding pretty badly. Mark knew he could't last long anymore, but he would fight till he couldn't fight anymore. Mark picked up his helmet and put it back on, he needed as much protection as possible right now. |
Luke Van Eyla
Oreburgh City Hospital "Why, my arm's quite fine, Ice Cream. Itching to punch you, as always." He smirked. But Luke could sense something trembling below that poker face. Does...he still remember? Well then all the more fun. "Oooh, not your style to give human abuses, Creamy." The HR leader activated his metal arm and the fingers of steel on it made the same vulgar sign Luke had done. However, a bullet buzzed out and boomed into the ceiling, sending a faint shower of smoke downwards. Luke huffed a snowy breath and hovered in the air while rolling his eyes, puzzled at what the lump of a human was making sense of. Well, he never had in the first place. When the Vanillite was facing Wade, Luke found that he was talking to a limp body on the hospital bed. "What happened? Wade?? Wade!" Aghast, he almost didn't catch a glimpse of the impending danger before him until it was too late. Contorting his body in an uncomfortable fashion, Luke tried to swerve out of the course of the electrical waves. But strands of static snagged themselves around his body and he squealed in a mix of pain and surprise. It kept coming, beams of nasty amber and thunderous yellow. It was like an energy miasma for Electric-type Pokemon. As another bolt ricocheted towards him, Luke deftly conjured a piece of metal and yielded it like a shield. Luke fled out of the firing range and from his rear, unleash a bluish stream of cotton-like snow and gush it all over Jack. As the Vanillite attacked and attacked with ice, he inched nearer to where Wade laid. Once he was by the bedside, Luke cast a few Mirror Shots to band around the two f them. It then dawned onto him that Wade was alright, and the ice cream helped his buddy up. Turning back to Jack, "I didn't come here to fight." The Fresh Snow pokemon hissed and then, his face writhed into a malicious grin, like a leer combined with a cute smile. But cuteness would have to be on hold for now. Flexing his short arms, Luke slowly and forcibly detached his ice-made limbs and suspended it in midair via the frost. "How's that for a magic trick? Heheh." He rotated the loose arms, shifting them around the air. Then with an added pinch of salt, Luke started to cackle eerily and wriggled his detached stubby fingers, putting on the mimicry of an apparition. Maybe he could stall some time for Wade to launch another attack. |
