Info: Okayy it's been almost half a year since I have done a hack ... I've been loafing around Improving mapping skills and music hacking skills :3
so here go's!

Story:

Time.
People say time travel is impossible others say we are constantly travelling forward in time as we live our lives.
Many try to create new ways to travel in time. So far only two ways are known. But they aren't the safest ways. Celebi and Dialga. Two mortal foes travelling through time if they were one day to meet. An epic had fateful battle shall begin.Lives will be taken. Towns will be destoryed. Will a hero rise to save the Aurom Region?

Congratulations! You turned 14 last week! Therefore you can recieve your first pokemon. And about time to in your eyes.Your two childhood friends ALice and Mike got their pokemon months before you. But they stayed in Rogue town to annoy you. But now yours and their quest begins.

Also that is the Professor's Laboratory.
But his in Silversword City selling his farming products.(he's a farmer too).
Ignore the stairs in those tree's ... I used to have a mountain there ... i forgot to remove them.

Your mapping has improved a lot. Although I'm quite suprised that you didn't
manage to learn how to script after half a year loafing around. But meh, that doesn't matter.

I'll be looking forward for this. I hope that you won't quit this time. I dislike it when people quit hacks with potential.

PS: About the storyline, I think that you shouldn't make N evil. (Notice that you have written "Hahahaha" at the end of the letter)

Okay, I'll get rid of the 'Hahahaha' If it's making N look evil.
I'm trying to make N think he is doing right by fixing ghetis' mistakes, by completly wiping them from time itself. Of course ... something goes wrong.

and I have tried to script believe me i have. :/ Scripting just doesnt agree with me -_-

The region tiles are all the tiles on tileset1, you should know what that is (the grass,tall grass,trees,flowers,water,gym,pc,mart,etc) pretty much all the tiles you use throughout the whole game,and not just for a certain map

This does look interesting, but the hahaha did make N sound evil, so... Yeah, that's one thing.

What's quite interesting about this is the potential with the 3 that control time. The story is... Well, vague in a way, in that you only know motives, which is good to keep us enticed, but some more detail may be helpful in the future. I wish you all the best with this Ruby hack.

It'll be very difficult to make a hack by not knowing yourself how to do specific things. If there are new scripts or new titlescreen in the hack, the hack owner should be the one to create them. Additionally, there can be people who help the hacker by beta-testing or creating tiles for him/her.

However, if the hack relies on the helpers only, it will most likely fall down sometime, sooner or later...

I do know how to do some stuff.
Like mapping,Music inserting(minus looping), Little on Tile inserting, OW spriting and inserting, and a tinsie amount on title inserting.

I just put that up there if someone wants to help. The dont have too It's entirely up to them. :')

This hack looks okay, but if you're using the FR trees, you should really learn how to use their shadows correctly.

As for your script, you forgot to put #raw 0xFE at the end of your movements - That is the most likey thing that is causing it to freeze.

Once there was a powerful trainer named Kenus Temp.
No-one had defeated him. He rose up in glory as Aurom's greatest trainer.
Until one day ... a man named Nigel defeated him.
Kenus Temp was not happy. Not happy at all. He vowed he would find Nigel and defeated him and embarrass him infront of all of Aurom. But Nigel is nowhere to be found anymore.
Out of rage one by one Kenus Temp wiped all the best trainers out of existence. How?
No-one knows. Those who do know dissappear from existence also.
But in the quiet Quinet Town a child begins his journey to find his father after he became champion 5 years ago. What happened? Did he lose his champion title? Or is he still in the league? waiting for you?

this is a very nice hack. I love it when hacks have different music, to!
how ever, I do love johto music, but a lot of hacks already have that. Liquid crystal for example. You should go for something different.
Try the rmxp midis. They should work when converted to agb.
That would be unique!
If you won't a download for it, with out downloading the whole rmxp, just let me know and I'll upload them for you fast!

But I was browsing the RHR and I found Manipulation's old Rom Base and it suited my fancy ... So i patched up started planning the starter town (Not much got done i have to go bed)

I like the palettes, they match the house palettes which is great. Although, honestly I think you can put more effort into your maps, Route 1 is nice, straight-forward, but its missing some small things like flowers, weeds etc. IMO, those things make maps look nice.

Good luck with this, hope to see a release soon. :)

Thanks :)
I used a RomBase so I did none of the palettes or tiles. Manipulation did however. So, all thanks goes to him !
(also the current inserted flower failed to work).

Anyway im going to insert some mini flowers and weedy things since there's tons of room on this tileset (: Keep your eye out for them xD

Do you know of the 'textcolor' command? Because you should really use it on your trigger scripts, they're extremely bland looking without colour.

This looks good, but... I feel a slight overadvantage for one of the starters, depending on the rival system. Let me explain.

Picking Mankey - not good if the rival is made to get Natu - Fighting attacks are resisted by both Flying and Psychic.

Picking Natu - Dark types are completely immune to Psychic.

Picking Poochyena - Perhaps the safest route in theory.

Though, it does depend on how you set out the rivals/friends. If they have totally different pokemon, then... Yeah, I'm an idiot.

Also - is it called Doomed Time or just Time Version? That's bugging me a bit. Pedantic for the win

Basically I have it Kinda like nintendo tried in R/B Where which starter pokemon made it easier or harder but they had it with different EXP rates.

In my hack
Mankey = Hard
Natu = Medium
Poochyena = SOmewhat Easy

Ansd It is Pokémon Time.
I just haven't got round to having a mod change it.
In fact I'll do it now ;3

It will show how much I've done in the hack and how much is left to be done.

It's a Big route because it contains "the Pal from Sinnoh's House!" and It leads to Barbosa City, home of Academic Tower and The Poison type gym.

I'm really enjoying how the game is being formed, the aspect graph is pretty good, the standard is well mapped in the cities, routes and is very good, like how fast it works. But I think I forgot to put the credits on the tiles that uses: (for Kyledove, WesleyFG (me), and others )

Well, You like the routes then. I plan to have tons of trainers in most routes.

Well, then, I suggest that you change the Trainer's dialogues and PKMN.
It would be boring to go through the game with the same old dialogues.

Barbosa City- The Growing Metropolis
Not a final map!

the basic idea of the city is that is not finished in construction.
It's just been built and not many people live there.
The houses with signs infront are for sale.
The giant tower is ACADEMIC TOWER where you get the Gym Pass.
To be able to compete in the gym challenge in the aurom region.
I know about the thing behind the PC. Also the road that leads to dead end in the top right i forgot to put a cave there.

This hack doesn't look bad at all. The gatehouse idea - before you got rid of it i mean - was new. Kudos to you for that. The tiles please me. :)

Roque Town has a town hall.
Where inside there is a main event, and sometimes 'special' events depending on the situation. (no scripted yet).

I have mapped Route 2

But, then the rom crashed -.-
But I've managed to save all the new maps except route 1 :'( The best route i ever did.

So, ... back to sqaure one.

How did it crash again? haven't you ever heard of the word "back up your rom" anyways, i like your new route, maybe try keeping a copy of your rom somewhere before mapping new routes and stuff.

:'( Don't you back up your ROM? I do it almost every time I make a change, because it's happened to me too.

Anyway, the Rombase and maps were looking nice, and I like the idea of a Town hall. :D

I do back it up.(sometime i forget) But everytime i finish a map i save the map as a file so if it crashes i can easily access it ^.^ on a different rom! ;D

well first Advance Map either deleted or say certain maps don't exist.
Then most of the maps are nothing but black i try to rebuild the map but it says 'pallete can not be editied.' And then the rom apprently can't be readable.
