http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/3/3b/587.png then http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/d/d7/417.png then ???
there should be one more pokemon and the evolutionary line would be complete

alisaie July 18th, 2011 4:38 PM

I'm not too sure, actually. If their stats wasn't already pretty bad, then I would suggest a baby squirrel that evolves into one of the two in some way. However, while they may be squirrels the colors throw me off (of course, there are Pokemon who look completely different Remoraid-Octilery but that's besides the point).

I'm pretty sure it was the color difference which made me doubt if was an evolution or not when I first saw it. Though it'd be cool if there was a pre-evolution of the two.

alisaie July 18th, 2011 7:58 PM

Too bad their stats are much too low for any sort of baby pokemon. :( Unless an evolution for each of them comes as well but I think that would be too much for the poor electric squirrels.

Skip Class July 18th, 2011 9:25 PM

I don't think an evolution for both of them would be good. I kinda like the way they are and I feel like if an evolution was added it would ruin their evolution line (And both of them are too cute too be ruined xD)

alisaie July 18th, 2011 9:34 PM

I think I would be a bit scared as to what they would make the evolutions look like. xD; Pachirisu --> Some rabid electric squirrel with huge teeth. That would be a bit creepy. :( I don't even want to think of what Emolga's would look like. When it comes to the electric rodents, Pikachu is better off being the only one with an evolution.

^That's exactly what I was thinking. Because it seems for a lot of evolutions they make the pokemon look bigger and stronger but it kills the cuteness at the same time.

I think this would make a good topic:

Which Electric Pokemon need evolutions and which Electric Pokemon would suit being non evolving Pokemon

Charizard★ July 19th, 2011 6:08 AM

I don't know if it was just me thinking this idea, but I was thinking that in the next generation (If there is one, which I'm guessing there will be.), there will be a baby squirrel Pokemon which can evolve into either of the two depending on the situation. :x

You're a little slow there, Charchar. I already suggested that up the page a bit.

To be honest, I think that the electric Pokemon are all well enough as they are. Again, baby squirrel for the two squirrels, but their stats are too low for a pre-evolution. I would love to see Stunfisk get an evolution. Either it would look even more derpier/silly looking/whatever than it already does, or maybe ~in some mysterious way~ it turned into some badass electric pokemon. xD

I don't really know any of the Pokemon in Gen. 5, but it would be interesting to see Plusle and Minun have an evolved form. (Perhaps something like division and multiply?)

should evolve

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/b/bb/171.png should evolve into a whale pokemon (we need more whale pokemon)

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/7/71/523.png should evolve, i think into a giraffe (we need another giraffe pokemon)

side note -

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/5/58/604.png < Might give me nightmares

A division and Multiply would be pretty cool. I've never seen anyone think of that before.
I remember browsing on some spriting websites a few years ago and someone had made an evolution/pre-evolution of them them where instead of plus or minus it was an equal sign and instead of red or blue it was purple (Like the colors had mixed together) I thought that was a pretty cool idea

So its the same pre-evo? If so, that would be pretty cool and interesting. But, then again, it all comes down if there's going to be another generation.

Does anyone other than me think that there's going to be 7 generations (For the 7 continents)?

Skip Class July 19th, 2011 1:19 PM

Even if it is a bit early to be looking at any new generations I'm still quite interested in what the future holds for any electric types in the coming generations. I was quite please with some of the electric type pokemon that came out in 5th Gen like Joltik and Blitzle/Zebstrika

I'm not a 100% sure about it. (If you mean each related to each continent) I mean if each past generation (except 5th) related to the other continents except asia (Japan) then you could think it. But I doubt that Nintendo would stop right there since the franchise is so big.
Though I admit it'll be interesting to see a region like Australia+NZ (Because there would a lot of wild Mareep around the place)

Wouldn't it be a bit weird where a zebra turns into a Giraffe xD ...well there are some weird evolutions out there

The Last One July 19th, 2011 2:03 PM

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/5/57/642.png dosent even look liek a pokemon, more like some weird spirit that would show on Zelda or something...

now to be on topic..

i would like to see pichu evolve into something else to form 2 seperate evolutionary lines..like how Wurmple turns into cascoon and silkcoon

I originally thought that Thundurus was going to be a water/flying type when I first saw the design of it. I got the flying from the clod and from it's main body I thought it was a sea creature lolz.

But I do like the aspect of the pokemon. Although it roams around the region driving you crazy, I do like how it creates that unusual thunderstorm where ever it is so you know where it's hidden in the grass somewhere. Though I hate how it can only learn 2 flying type moves. Kinda kills the flying part of it
