Rahhhhhdsfdkfsjl xD

When I'm not on PC for a while like when I sleep, afterwards I'll go through every post that was made while I was asleep that I'm interested in so I could go up to having like 10-15 tabs of PC up, but they're all different and once I'm done I close them out lol.

DarkAlucard September 23rd, 2011 11:06 AM

Regularly I have only three tabs open: Facebook, PC (obviously) and some random page to read some articles, reviews, etc..

Ryoutarou September 23rd, 2011 11:06 AM

I tend to do that with most forums I frequent, comes back to bite me in the butt when I haven't been able to get online for a few days because I end up spending an hour or so just trying to catch and find links to other sites and posts and feel like I'm playing a terrible game of six degrees of separation that never wants to end. By the time I finish I just have...so many tabs open, so I tend to just exit the browser and then start fresh rather than closing them individually.

Cura September 23rd, 2011 12:06 PM

Internet tabs... hmm... I normally have one or two. But, when I first get on the internet is loads up with five tabs opened.

Liam Crawford September 23rd, 2011 12:33 PM

I cannot have more than 6-7 tabs -- the browser heavily lags. I usually close the tabs as soon as I am done with them.

Palkia September 23rd, 2011 12:35 PM

I have a grand total of 3 tabs open, two of them being stacked. I don't have many tabs so I can conserve RAM.

DarkAlucard September 23rd, 2011 12:39 PM

According to my tests, my browser can work perfectly with 15 tabs open.

Sweet Candace September 23rd, 2011 12:40 PM

I think the max I had was like 15 tabs, but like I said earlier, my browser slows a little bit if I have too many tabs open.

Truality September 23rd, 2011 1:06 PM

Wow you guys move fast.

I usually have like 7 tabs open, then temporarily increase them to about 25 when I click 'new tab' whenever I get to see a thread here that interests me.

Her September 23rd, 2011 1:26 PM

I usually have about 4-5 tabs open. Anything more than that feels unnatural and wrong and I want to close them as soon as I am done with them.

Netto Azure September 23rd, 2011 4:26 PM

Currently I have 9 tabs open. All for PC. :P

Also VM's!

2Cool4Mewtwo September 23rd, 2011 4:50 PM

More than 5 then I get a bit irritated. Sometimes I leave up with done youtube videos and don't close them for a while until I realize I have more than 5 tabs open then close them immediately.

Nick September 23rd, 2011 5:23 PM

How nerdy of us all to be discussing tab count! 8)

vaporeon7 September 23rd, 2011 5:26 PM

I feel silly when I have three tabs open, and they are all of the PokeCommunity Home page because I'm too lazy to close them.

alisaie September 23rd, 2011 5:42 PM

I've had that happen before.

I don't mind having more tabs if they're of say... different websites. However, if I have five tabs open to the same website (or even worse, the same thread) then I just simply close out of a few when I notice it.

Yeah, I agree. Who wants to watch sweaty people run around all day? It's a waste. Most of the guys aren't even hot anyway.

Who would vomit on a carpet? that is most barbaric.

Well I'm just being cautious since we got some really nice new decor in here recently.

It's competitive, people generally enjoy that. Of course it comes in different varieties, from sports to random hobbies.

That is totally the least of your worries. I once saw a girl who got so wasted that she just ended up peeing all over the carpet where I used to live. Drinking does weird things to people.

I enjoy sports more when I'm playing them. I get bored too easily watching other people play.

It's...generally the same for me. Football/Soccer and Basketball are the only sports I actually enjoy watching. That and the occasional game of Tennis whenever the rules make any sense to me.

Don't forget, they're asking you to make them snacks. Of course, there will be no reward for this, considering you are a woman :3

Well of course I don't mind. I was intending to ask Live to grill something so they would have substantial food so the alcohol would have less effect but of course chips, salsa, and various other things are in order.

Wait what kind of reward would I get? I've never heard of such a thing.

-Jared- September 23rd, 2011 8:30 PM

He said no reward, Anna, he is being condescending. >__>

Can someone only nominally interested in football join? :D

Aquacorde September 23rd, 2011 8:33 PM

Well yes but see him saying no reward implies that there would be a reward if I were a man or something. So what reward would I have then?

And yes you can join but you have to help me with snacks and gossip while the other men shout futilely at the 54" flatscreen TV.

Well shouting at screens do seem to work most of the time.

donavannj September 23rd, 2011 8:35 PM

I was actually planning on making chili myself for halftime for everyone, because I'm a baus like that and chili is freaking amazing as football food. and I have my dad's and uncle's recipes I can steal

I'll bring cheese, sour cream, and saltines as well as hot sauce for the bold and adventurous!

And I'll make fun of the announcers!

Oh. Well then, I don't know.

I can help with snacks, as I makes a killer cream cheese spread thing, but what if I want to yell futilely at the 54" flatscreen TV? I said nominally, but I at least can have a favorite team and root for them, right?

So... I take it you're going to cook cheeseburgers?

-Jared- September 23rd, 2011 8:43 PM

OKAY GAIS

Seriously make this. Like, in real life.

Take one block of cream cheese.
Slather it with cocktail sauce.
Pour one small can of tiny shrimp on that.
Eat the whole thing with Wheat Thins crackers.

And prepare to experience a culinary masterpiece. Perfect football game food.

donavannj September 23rd, 2011 8:52 PM

I got the meat covered in the chili. And I can make a vegetarian variation. (b'-')b

And now I want jalepeno poppers. Right now.

Aquacorde September 23rd, 2011 8:52 PM

See now you must make that for us Jared.

And I would make it if I had ingredients and it were not midnight.

Vegetarians, show yourself! You must come get the chili because people who eat meat probably will not eat it.

-Jared- September 23rd, 2011 8:55 PM

Then wait until you have the ingredients, and it isn't midnight, then make it. XD

Also, I just realized i should ask, who's playing? XD

Alternative September 23rd, 2011 9:19 PM

I can cook meatloaf, but that's about it. :/ I can also make pizza from scratch, but yet again, it sucks, but last time I made it it was pretty good. :D

twistedpuppy September 23rd, 2011 9:19 PM

I can cook. Although not by memory. I have to use a cookbook. I don't get why people find it so hard. If you just follow the recipe it's easy peasy.

DarkAlucard September 23rd, 2011 9:19 PM

Football? Party? Count Me In!
I can cook some pork chops with mango sauce perfect for the occasion.

Bloo September 23rd, 2011 9:22 PM

I can cook as long as I have a recipe. Other than that, I can just make basic pasta and stuff. That's really it.

Aquacorde September 23rd, 2011 9:23 PM

More people to help me cook? Excellent. I can make sandwiches if anyone wants. :)

I always have to make sandwiches while lazy men are sitting on their couches watching sports, rubbing their bellies, and drinking beer like there's no tomorrow. Once I'm done, I have to clean up all of the vomit and food.

I mean, it only takes one look out of the kitchen window to see it my way. Oh wait, they think that windows will give me rebellious ideas. You know, sometimes, men can just be so unfair for no reason whatsoever.

But again, stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason. You may be one man that despises this behaviour, but where are the others? Apparently they are not numerous enough to shrug off this soiled blanket of assumption. It is tragic, really.

Cooking is best left to the women anyway, my dear. Men have improperly aligned tastebuds and therefore do not often get the ratios of spice correct.

Tsk, men. Of course that is so improper! You cannot simply do that, you will lose all the flavor! There is a ~process~ that only women seem to be capable of.

Small TV screens... I used to have just a 21" TV 10 years ago or so. Now that the whole house is equipped with large HDTVs, though... Well, I increasingly find cinemas not worth it anymore.

Trying to watch movies in the cinemas around here is like trying to watch a Blu-Ray movie with the best sound... but with a 240p projector. Blurriness, anyone?

Ho-Oh September 24th, 2011 12:59 AM

I have a LED tv screen of 42''and still I love going to movies.

Signomi September 24th, 2011 1:03 AM

I have a 50" 3DTV in the lounge, so there's no shortage of movie entertainment at our house.

But despite so, I like the atmosphere of cinemas and am planning to go very soon to watch Jane Eyre.

Legendary Silke September 24th, 2011 1:17 AM

I do think that HDTVs are going to eat into cinema attendance sooner or later... especially cinemas that still use film-based projectors. Which is pretty much most cinemas at my place.

The only thing I go to cinemas for is the sound, and even then, headphones + my PC monitor should do better.

I have a TV plugin and with the appropriate wire used, I watch TV using my laptop's monitor.

Bleh, I can't afford a widescreen or high-flat or whatever those big TVs are.

I have a 50" LED in my room, as well as the living room and smaller ones -- I think 30-something" -- in the kitchen, balcony, and my brother's bedroom. However, I rarely watch TV unless it is football or anything related to the Family Guy and The Simpsons. I go to the movies every Saturday and sometimes Sunday.

I know someone who has a TV in every bathroom of his house.

I can't imagine having that many TVs in the house, I have an old TV/Video combo in my room that hasn't even been used for years.

Seriously, the last time I used that thing was in 2004, and that was only to dig up and play Pokemon Stadium 2 on my N64. XD;

We have 6 TVs in our house and one in the shed. That's more TVs then family members xD

Legendary Silke September 24th, 2011 4:17 AM

Let's see... 2 TVs for the whole home for me. Both are HDTVs - the old CRT TV was finally dumped a year ago or so.

Liam Crawford September 24th, 2011 4:17 AM

I also don't like that much TVs, but my dad does. He is a TV-freak-addict. I only use the one in my room before I hit the bed.

I have way too many old TVs somewhere in the closets. I remember one that had a little crack in the middle that I used to watch on it Pokemon and Tom and Jerry everyday.

When I used to live with my family, we only had a sing TV for all of us. It never actually resorted to conflicts, but our parents were always people of swift adequacy, so yeah.

Legendary Silke September 24th, 2011 4:42 AM

I think I'm pretty glad that all the CRTs that we used to have are now dumped. These things were a chore to move around!

Signomi September 24th, 2011 4:48 AM

Oh sweet mother of god yes.

Those chunky things were an absolute PAIN to move around. >___>
